    Pho Rib Bones. Delicious!
    Julio V.

This place has quickly become our favorite place for Pho in the area. We've tried several of their pho bowls: chicken, shrimp, rib bones, and oxtail. They don't miss! My favorite has been the oxtail, though I wish the oxtail was meatier. The broth is delicious to use and their portions are great. They also have some great appetizers and their shaky beef plate is also really good. We also like their horchata drink. Unique and delicious! Also, make sure to request their chili paste! They have great service, super attentive and friendly. You pay up at the front after you're done. It's a simple place, not much decor. But they got all the flavors so it's fine. Plenty of parking in the area as well. You gotta try it!

So oily and the soup was full of fat

We came here because we were looking for a pho spot that was closed late. Definitely one of the worst phos I have eaten. Couldn't finish my bowl because there was SO much fat in my bowl of noodles I got grossed out. The broth was clearly drenched in fat. Service was mediocre and the food came out quickly but as someone who eats pho often, this is not the place.

Oxtail and ribeye so flavorful and tender!

Local, plenty of parking, fresh and delicious! Not your typical Pho as this is more elevated with ingredients. I was so surprised how good everything was as we all shared our plates.

I've been to the soup shops in Cerritos and Irvine and really enjoyed the pho there, but this location really misses the mark. We came on a Saturday night with only three parties ahead of us, which is nothing compared to Cerritos. First, the menu is smaller. They don't offer the garlic noodles! So we both ordered the ribeye pho. After waiting at least 20 minutes, our bowls came out with noodles hanging over the edge, looking sloppy and rushed. The noodles inside the soup were clumpy. I hope they tighten up the quality and consistency, because the other locations set a much higher bar.

I've been craving pho and there aren't many options in SELA so we decided to give this place a try. We were pleasantly surprised! We ordered the pho ribeye, pho rib bones, and the sautéed scallion elote. The meat in both pho's was tender and literally fell off the bone. The ratio of noddles and broth was perfect. I'm definitely no expert on pho broth but this was very tasteful. All the flavors complemented each other well. To drink we had the Horchata Pandan and the Green Thai Tea. Both soooo good!! The horchata pandan was definitely on the sweet side. We came on a Friday afternoon and there was a bit of a wait. There were people standing outside but service was very quick. We only waiting for about 5 min. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive even with the packed restaurant. We had never been here before and when we walked in, we were pretty impressed with how aesthetically cute the place is. It's actually a pretty restaurant to sit and have your meal. I thought this was more of a fast food kind of vibe from the outside. The parking can be a little tricky just because of the rest of the businesses but it's not too bad. The day is rainy and chilly so this was the perfect meal for today. Happy we decided to give this place a try because now it'll be our go to whenever we want pho and don't feel like driving too far.

This place is located in a very busy corner but has plenty of parking. The service was great and the food was just as good. We arrived and were greeted and it is self seating. The lovely waitress took our order and within 5 min our food came out. Was in the mood for pho and this place did not disappoint. Lots of flavor and very filling. Came with some friends for lunch and it was a very chill atmosphere. My initial visit was about 3 weeks ago but I have already since returned again and it was just as good the second time around.

We came here on a Saturday evening - being located in a big plaza, there was plenty of parking, the restaurant had a few tables occupied and so getting seated was easy. Love how the restaurant isn't overwhelmingly busy so it was easy to get comfy and enjoy our meal. Our server was accommodating - we started off with a few appetizers, elote, fries and egg rolls. The Pandan Horchata drink was amazingly delish! The pho and the filet mignon was equally delish! I would definitely recommend!

    Pho Brisket 10/10!

My husband came here for lunch a few days ago and has been raving about the pho ever since. He brought me back so I could try it for myself, and I have to say, I'm disappointed I didn't try it sooner! The pho was absolutely delicious. I'll definitely be back soon to try more items on the menu.

Ordered pho through Uber Eat they gave me 1 sauce packet for my entire meal. They cheap and unacceptable. Needless to say my pho was bland flavorless and sad.

Food 5/5 Service 5/5 Ambiance 4/5 This place what I consider a fast food pho place but with high quality restaurant style dishes. Spacious indoor seating with no outdoor seating. Good service and food comes out fast. The wings were delicious and the garlic parm sauce came on the side for dipping and was perfectly zesty. I got the pho ribeye soup and was classic and waitress brought tons of onions and bean sprouts on request. Also tried the shaken pho soup (pho soup base with noodles and a side of filet mignon with onions and bell peppers that you throw into the pho) and it was just a deep, pungent Smokey flavor and was delicious. High quality and good pricing. Would be back

Basil could be fresher for $17

I want to like this location but for $17, it's k. For pho past 9pm, it's good. The broth at this location is muddy and opaque, as if they didn't blanch the meat/bones or let the meats cook too long in there. If it was tasty, I don't mind, but it tasted like they let the raw ribeye's blood leech into the soup much..maybe they just threw on bloody meat and made the broth too colored? Also the broth temperature is kinda not steamy. I think they get their noodle straight from the fridge almost as it came in a big ass chunk all clumped together. The bean sprouts were also straight from the fridge as it was cold. My broth was okay warm after adding the garnishes. 4 pieces of brisket and ribeye each, good amount of tendon (delicious here), and only a bit of tripe. The basil could be fresher as it had dried ends, maybe sitting for too long in the fridge. I'm not saying it's a bad spot, all cuts of meats are tasty, even the tendon, but the other branches definitely taste better. For $17 at 11pm with all SGV pho shop closed and OC too far, it'll do.

We come to soup shop pretty often & we usually love it! The environment is nice, the food is always so yummy! However our last 2 times going there was a girl there, didn't get her name, but she has copper orangeish hair, she wasn't nice at all. I raised my hand to ask for something and she looked right at me and walked away, I then got up to go ask someone for something and she happened to be the person who came out of the kitchen first so I was going to ask her and she looked at me and walked back into the kitchen. A different girl came out and she helped me, I was just looking to get utensils, something so simple but it's been 2 times that we go and that same girl is there and she's not helpful, not approachable, not nice. Otherwise we do like the place alot! The owner is sometimes sitting there doing work and if she sees it gets busy she gets up to help her team. Food is really good! Always spot on!

Soup Shop is a small pho restaurant located in the South Gate plaza, and plenty of parking is available. We were able to be seated right away and the service moved pretty quickly from there. Payment is at the front when you're finished. We ordered a brisket pho and ribeye pho. The meat was surprisingly tender and not tough/dry at all. The broth was really tasty and flavorful as well. I wish there were more noodles though. But overall, we had a great experience here!

ATTENTION!!! THIS CLASS 302 IN DOWNEY **IS NOT** LIKE THE CLASS 302 IN CERRITOS!…read moreThere is no shaved ice, there are no waffles, and Downey is self-serve drinks while Cerritos makes the drinks for you. Their food menus differ, as well. With that being said, this Class 302 is closer to my house, so it's frequented more. I probably would have made this a 5 star review, but I haven't tried enough of their food or drinks to make a sound judgement. While I can tolerate spicy foods, in my day and age now, spicy foods aren't a good look for me sometimes. I like how I can opt out of the spice here. I've had the Pork Bone Noodle soup and the Miso Udon soup, both are delicious. They both come spicy and in different degrees of spicy, but, again, I opt out of the spice. Their popcorn chicken also comes in different degrees of spicy, and I've tried the no-spice, and 1st degree (??) level of spicy. The popcorn chicken does have a distinct flavor to it, maybe it's Chinese 5 spice (?), I'm not sure. It took some getting used to, but my twins love the popcorn chicken from here. The fried basil they add to it is a nice touch of flavor. I'd probably choose the fried pork chop over the popcorn chicken, flavor wise. The pork chop is topped with cilantro and served with their house made sweet chili sauce. I guess the secret to their self-serve drinks is to use to slushes in lieu of the ice so that your drink isn't watered down. Now, there are instructions on how to self-serve your drinks here: *Order the size of drink you'd like (small, medium, or large). *Ask for a sample cup if you're not sure what to get. *Add your boba and other fillings first (fruit, egg tart, popping boba, lychee jelly, Oreo crumbs, etc.) *Choose your drink combinations and fill your cup carefully. *If you're gonna add toppings after you fill your cup with your drink, leave some space for said topping. *If there's some overflow of your drink, you might be asked to drink some of your drink or it will be poured out into a sample cup. Your drink can't seal properly if it's not flush with the top of the cup. *You might have to wait a minute for your cup to be sealed because Other Patrons. I always add one scoop of boba, and have tried the following combinations: *Coconut Slush-Ube Slush-Coconut Slush-Lychee Jelly *Coconut Slush-Pineapple Passion Slush-Lychee Jelly *Coconut Slush-Mango Berry-Pineapple Passion-Lychee Jelly *Pineapple Passion-Hisbiscus Tea *Coconut Slush-Thai Tea My twins choose a combination of the Strawberry Cream Slush, Horchata Slush, and Coconut Slush. They'll add Oreo cookie crumbles sometimes, too. I'm a fan of Jasmine Milk Tea, but when I tried it here, it wasn't Jasmine'ing like I'm used to, so I don't get it here. There's a good mix of ages/generations, families vs. couples vs. friend groups vs. solo diners, and while it can get packed it doesn't last for long. I've Shazam'd some music here so the playlists are pretty good. We're always greeted with a "Hi, Welcome!" when we walk thru the doors, so staff is pretty cool. Oh, the door can be heavy to open because of the AC on. We've always had some seats to sit on whilst waiting for our food to-go. Parking close by is a usual occurrence, but this shop is nestled in a very busy shopping/restaurant center.
