S2. Orange Flavor Chicken
Betty R.

Great portion, the chicken is crispy and saucy. It is a little chewy, but I do enjoy the sweet orangey sauce. But the star is the chow fun. Such a good portion and so saucy and well cooked. Definitely worth a try! I would recommend getting the lunch specials when available cause you get an eggroll and soup for less of a price. I have also been to the restaurant and they are always clean. There is usually only one person doing everything front of the house so the service is a little slow, but not like anything getting upset about.

Always delicious.... even though they took away my favorite item, sesame chicken. Staff is friendly and the place is clean.

Now this place is an amazing find! Been going to Cerritos College for sports and never saw this place. It was busy at 1030 AM. Great menu. Large portions. Friendly service. Food is flavorful and my son and I crushed it. The only reason it is not five stars is because of the canned sodas. We will definitely go back

60.00 dollars worth? Hell nah!

They are extremely pricey for the little they give you. I ordered 4 things that came in a meal prep container 60 dollars. I get more food with in-n-out. I will never come here again. You shouldn't either

Chicken Pho

Quick service and generous portions! I ordered the chicken noodle pho and some orange chicken and both were delicious. The pho had great flavor and was packed with plenty of chicken. The orange chicken was super saucy (in a good way!) and the broccoli added a nice, fresh touch! Definitely coming back!

I normally come here for the curry chicken to go. Today . I decided to bring my family wife and two kids 12 and nine years old for dine in. I ordered the chicken and broccoli. The chicken was undercooked. Broccoli was good. Rice was good order two brisket bowls it was just OK service was terrible. They brought us Our food never came back to check on us! Lousy service. If you go here get it to go.

Good place to have some great Pho. Only reason I gave the 4 stars is because you don't have table service. Even if you eat there you have to pay as you order. So basically tip if you want and service might be ok. The pho was very tasty, chicken dumplings were good also. The house noodles have a little of everything which makes it convenient.

I was watching YouTube of someone eating Chinese food and I instantly started craving it. Found Golden Pho on Yelp and decided to place a delivery order. My driver stopped twice before he got to me, but my food was surprisingly still hot. The bbq pork fried rice was full of flavor, fresh and delicious. The cream cheese wontons were crunchy and added with the sweet & sour, it was delightful! I had leftovers which I ate the next day and it was still delicious. I'll definitely order here again

The food was pretty bland in terms of taste. The service and mood was good, just didn't suit my taste. Too much water.

The best late night comfort food! Soup Shop has good food, and they're open late. It's no wonder…read morethere's always people waiting for a table outside. We were craving some warm pho on a cold night, and Soup Shop sounded like the perfect spot. The plaza Soup Shop is located in is usually super crowded, but if you go after 9pm when most of the other restaurants and shops are closed, you'll find plenty of parking. Write your name down on the waiting list at the front podium and then wait for your name to be called. They have a few seats to wait right outside the door. Once we were seated, we were given menus. I really like that their menu has a lot of large photos of the dishes, so you know what you're getting! Once we ordered, the food came out pretty quickly despite being busy. For appetizers, we ordered the Crunchy Pork "Bao" since it sounded unique. Inside the bao is pork shoulder, mushroom, Vietnamese sausage, and quail egg. The outside has a thin, perfectly crispy layer that gives a nice little crunch when you bite into it. Really enjoyed these and would recommend! We also got the Crusted Parmesan Cauliflower. Not sure what's in the sauce, but it's sweet, tangy, and delicious! It's also topped with fried onion, cilantro, cucumber, and parmesan cheese. Also a winner! For entrees, we got the Chicken Pho and the Pho Ribeye. For the chicken Pho, you can get it with thigh or breast meat. I got it with breast meat, and they gave a good amount of meat! A little dry, but I appreciated that it was nice and lean. The flavor of the soup is really good. Pho Ribeye was also tasty! Hit the spot.

We arrived a little before 7pm on a Saturday. We're surprised to see so many Asian restaurants at this location! While the parking lot in the front was packed, we're able to find some empty spots at the back. The inside of the restaurant looked nice and modern. There's no wait and we got seated immediately. It appeared that their tables didn't have designated servers. While we could get help from any server, it could be quite confusing when we got asked the same questions from different people. Service was friendly, anyway. We each ordered a different garlic noodle. I had the Pan Seared Salmon with Garlic Parmesan Cheese sauce. It came with yummy Grilled Cajun Zucchini. The salmon was cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside while moist inside. It's tasty on its own even without the delicious garlic parmesan sauce. The noodle was garlicky and flavorful. I had a small piece of my husband's filet mignon beef, and it's pretty good with a kick to it. Our daughter's Sauteed Veggies & Tofu looked good as well, but she said the sauce from the vegetables made her noodles soggy and not as desirable, and she preferred the noodles on our plates better. Our fellow Yelpers didn't disappoint, now we know where to go next time we're craving for garlic noodles.

I ordered the Thai Boat Noodle and my husband got the Noodle King special. Honestly, it's basically…read morethe same broth, the king version just loads it up with brisket, tendon, tripe, and meatballs, so think of it as a fully stacked boat noodle. The broth is the star here. It's rich, flavorful, slightly sweet with a tangy kick, pretty sure there's some tangerine going on in there. Just a heads up, even "mild spicy level" has a noticeable heat, so if you're sensitive to spice, don't try to be brave... go no spice. The meats were surprisingly good, tender, not chewy, which is where a lot of places mess up. Noodles came out hot, no complaints there. We also got mango sticky rice and this is where they really sealed the deal. Mango was perfectly in season, juicy, sweet, not that sad sour off-season stuff. Sticky rice was soft and actually tasted like it was made fresh, not reheated from yesterday. Waitress was attentive and nice. Place itself is small, clean, modern, very mom-and-pop but done right, not rundown. I will definitely come back.

I like how's there's more dressing as you get the taste of it in every bite. The dressing however was a little too fish forward for me and you don't get much acid. IMO, the fish sauce and lemon (acid) should balance each other out. They use big tomatoes cut into wedges (as opposed to cherry tomatoes which I normally have at other Thai restaurants), And they give a good amount of food. Chow Mein: my boyfriend ate this. He said it was okay. It looked pretty good to me. Thai ice tea: I ordered this with boba. And as I was drinking it, I don't know what was in it but it definitely was not boba. It was orange with a chewy texture. I checked the receipt and it clearly says BOBA.

What I Ordered: Juicy Pork Dumplings ($11.99)…read morePan Fried Chinese Chives Pork Shrimp dumplings ($12.99) Wonton in Spicy Sauce ($11.50) Chicken Fried Rice ($12.99) Dry fried string bean ($13.50) Orange Chicken ($14.99) Kung Pao Shrimp ($18.99) Dan dan noodle ($13.99) Beef roll pancake ($12.99) Spring rolls ($3.50) Jasmine Milk Tea with Boba Food: The Pan Fried Chinese Chives Pork Shrimp Dumplings. I absolutely loved the crispy bottom layer because it added such a satisfying crunch to every bite. The inside stayed really juicy and flavorful with a good balance of pork, shrimp, and chives. The Juicy Pork Dumplings had soup inside, which was rich and savory. I've had soup dumplings before where the wrapper breaks apart too easily, but these held together nicely while still staying soft and delicate. The Wonton in Spicy Sauce was my personal favorite from the entire meal. The spicy sauce flavor was savory with a little sweetness. I'm typically not good with spice, so this is at a spice level that should be very manageable for everyone. I absolutely loved the spicy sauce, so I started putting it on everything. Definitely put the sauce on the chicken fried rice! The Chicken Fried Rice was a great dish to pair with everything else that we ordered. With several orders of entrees, a solid rice dish is a must order for any Chinese meal. The rice had a nice savory flavor that I enjoyed, and there was a generous amount of chicken mixed throughout the dish. I even asked the waitress if they do anything special with the fried rice because it tasted better than many other restaurants. It felt comforting and balanced compared to some of the heavier dishes. The Dry Fried String Beans were cooked perfectly with a slight crispness while still being tender. The garlic and seasoning gave them so much flavor that it honestly didn't even feel like I was eating vegetables. I do have to note that these were very much on the salty side, so if you don't like foods that are too salty, I would choose a different dish. The Orange Chicken was really crispy and juicy, which I appreciated because soggy orange chicken is always disappointing to me. The sauce had a nice citrus flavor while still keeping that classic sweet savory taste. The Spring Rolls were simple with vegetable filling on the inside with a crispy outside. I would try a different appetizer next time. The Kung Pao Shrimp was packed with flavor and had a really satisfying combination of textures. The shrimp were tender, and the peanuts added a great crunch to the dish. I thought the sauce had a really nice balance of spice and savoriness without becoming overwhelming. Another dish I really enjoyed was the Beef Roll Pancake. The pancake itself was nice and chewy throughout each bite. The sliced beef with green onions and sauce all wrapped together made every bite really flavorful and satisfying. For drinks, I ordered the Jasmine Milk Tea with Boba. I really liked that the jasmine tea flavor was noticeable instead of being overly sweet like some milk teas can be. The boba had a soft chewy texture, and the drink itself paired perfectly with the spicy and savory dishes from the meal. Staff: All of the staff members were quick and friendly Ambiance: Indoor seating only. A good amount of parking in the parking lot that is shared with other shops in the plaza.

At first, I wasn't sure what to expect, but the overall experience was better than I anticipated. The seasoning was a little strong, and some dishes had a fairly familiar, standardized taste. Nothing was bad, and everything was prepared well, but I do feel a little disappointed when the authentic flavors of traditional Chinese food become less noticeable. There were four of us, and we ordered about eight or nine of their most popular dishes. My parents really enjoyed the food. I have worked in China before, so I may be a little more sensitive and particular when it comes to Chinese food. Overall, the restaurant has good reviews, the prices are reasonable, and it was a pretty good dining experience.

We opted to get the vermicelli noodles instead of the white rice. The pot took around 10-15 minutes to arrive. The server lit up the pot for us. The flavor of the broth was decently strong, not the spiciest I've had but not the weakest. It was quite filling for the both of us and adding the noodles towards the end helped fill up the pot overall. The interior of the restaurant has plenty of seating with booths and tables.
