This place always seemed busy whenever I went to get some Boba next door so I wanted to try it out. It looks smaller than I actually thought it would be. Clean. But as far as the menu it's more of Chinese and small pho menu. The male server kept asking if we were ready to order, but we were not. He would disappear in the back at times. What we ordered was the bone in beef pho which looked delicious in the picture. But what we got it was mostly bones and very little meat. Although we got 3 bones, it was still hardly any meat on it and the amount of pho noodles was sad. The broth was okay. The did however finish the small portion of pho. We also ordered the free child dish of plain fried rice. Child said it was okay, good enough. For appetizers she had the Vietnamese spring rolls, but it didn't look too appetizing. And I last minute added the fried wonton with cream cheese. IMO, skip out on these two. The spring roll didn't look freshly made and the for the fried wonton, I could still taste flour batter. For drinks, I was just gonna stick to water but once I took a sip, I said do not drink that. It tasted like tap water. So we ordered the Thai tea which is BOGO free. That tasted better. Overall for the price we paid and the quality of food, I'm sorry to say that I wouldn't be coming back here to try the other items. If appetizers go wrong than what more about their main dishes. But who knows, maybe other people like the taste. Maybe they're one of those people who like going to Peking Duck in Cerritos..

They are extremely pricey for the little they give you. I ordered 4 things that came in a meal prep container 60 dollars. I get more food with in-n-out. I will never come here again. You shouldn't either

Now this place is an amazing find! Been going to Cerritos College for sports and never saw this place. It was busy at 1030 AM. Great menu. Large portions. Friendly service. Food is flavorful and my son and I crushed it. The only reason it is not five stars is because of the canned sodas. We will definitely go back

Quick service and generous portions! I ordered the chicken noodle pho and some orange chicken and both were delicious. The pho had great flavor and was packed with plenty of chicken. The orange chicken was super saucy (in a good way!) and the broccoli added a nice, fresh touch! Definitely coming back!

I normally come here for the curry chicken to go. Today . I decided to bring my family wife and two kids 12 and nine years old for dine in. I ordered the chicken and broccoli. The chicken was undercooked. Broccoli was good. Rice was good order two brisket bowls it was just OK service was terrible. They brought us Our food never came back to check on us! Lousy service. If you go here get it to go.

Good place to have some great Pho. Only reason I gave the 4 stars is because you don't have table service. Even if you eat there you have to pay as you order. So basically tip if you want and service might be ok. The pho was very tasty, chicken dumplings were good also. The house noodles have a little of everything which makes it convenient.

I was watching YouTube of someone eating Chinese food and I instantly started craving it. Found Golden Pho on Yelp and decided to place a delivery order. My driver stopped twice before he got to me, but my food was surprisingly still hot. The bbq pork fried rice was full of flavor, fresh and delicious. The cream cheese wontons were crunchy and added with the sweet & sour, it was delightful! I had leftovers which I ate the next day and it was still delicious. I'll definitely order here again

Shrimp pho, honey walnut shrimp, spring rolls, and beef noodles.

Everything was great & delicious. Price was reasonable. Will be going back soon. Hope this is helpful

This place is a gem. I haven't dined in since the pandemic but would order to go. I had been craving some Pho for a week. They removed the booths they used to have and now have various tables for seatings. This has given a more open and spacious appearance. The staff is always friendly and service fast. I asked yo add meatballs to the brisket pho and the server said you can do that or you can have less brisket and do the rest meatballs so 1/2 and 1/2 and I opted for the second option. The broth is really flavorful. I am accustomed to limes vs lemons for the condiments so I think that changed the flavor a little but it was so delicious and comforting. They updated their menu with new specials. They also serve other dishes and appetizers, milk teas and offer combos for dine in and pick up/to-go orders. Definitely my go to spot in Norwalk for Pho

    Well done brisket pho

I ordered the well done brisket pho. They give quite a bit of thinly sliced brisket meat. Quality of meat was great too. Broth was piping hot and stayed hot even after adding bean sprout, jalapeño and basil. Presentation was great with lots of green onion. The broth was good and not up to my pho expectations. My expectations are pretty high and I can tell if this is broth from meat and bones but this seems to be more of processed flavor or hybrid which is missing actual meat/bone broth with something processed as powder or paste. The noodle was a bit overcooked because it lacked the slight chewiness.

    Very cute zodiac table mats

We were craving some warm pho on a cold night, and Soup Shop sounded like the perfect spot. The plaza Soup Shop is located in is usually super crowded, but if you go after 9pm when most of the other restaurants and shops are closed, you'll find plenty of parking. Write your name down on the waiting list at the front podium and then wait for your name to be called. They have a few seats to wait right outside the door. Once we were seated, we were given menus. I really like that their menu has a lot of large photos of the dishes, so you know what you're getting! Once we ordered, the food came out pretty quickly despite being busy. For appetizers, we ordered the Crunchy Pork "Bao" since it sounded unique. Inside the bao is pork shoulder, mushroom, Vietnamese sausage, and quail egg. The outside has a thin, perfectly crispy layer that gives a nice little crunch when you bite into it. Really enjoyed these and would recommend! We also got the Crusted Parmesan Cauliflower. Not sure what's in the sauce, but it's sweet, tangy, and delicious! It's also topped with fried onion, cilantro, cucumber, and parmesan cheese. Also a winner! For entrees, we got the Chicken Pho and the Pho Ribeye. For the chicken Pho, you can get it with thigh or breast meat. I got it with breast meat, and they gave a good amount of meat! A little dry, but I appreciated that it was nice and lean. The flavor of the soup is really good. Pho Ribeye was also tasty! Hit the spot.

Honestly, it's basically…read morethe same broth, the king version just loads it up with brisket, tendon, tripe, and meatballs, so think of it as a fully stacked boat noodle. The broth is the star here. It's rich, flavorful, slightly sweet with a tangy kick, pretty sure there's some tangerine going on in there. Just a heads up, even "mild spicy level" has a noticeable heat, so if you're sensitive to spice, don't try to be brave... go no spice. The meats were surprisingly good, tender, not chewy, which is where a lot of places mess up. Noodles came out hot, no complaints there. We also got mango sticky rice and this is where they really sealed the deal. Mango was perfectly in season, juicy, sweet, not that sad sour off-season stuff. Sticky rice was soft and actually tasted like it was made fresh, not reheated from yesterday. Waitress was attentive and nice. Place itself is small, clean, modern, very mom-and-pop but done right, not rundown. I will definitely come back.

It's tucked in a small strip mall with limited parking. The inside is very small, but cozy, clean, and has a warm mom and pop feel to it. The menu is pretty big with lots of options to choose from. _Chicken Satay ($11.59) Strips of chicken charcoal broiled. Served with peanut sauce and cucumber chutney. Always a must try. This was probably one of the most well cooked and seasoned satay. Very moist and well flavored. The peanut sauce was spot on and the vinegar sweet chutney is a perfect balance and adds a nice crunch texture. _Tom Kha Fish Noodle Soup ($14.99) Rice noodles with fresh fish filet, mushrooms, onion, tomatoes, galangal, kaffir lime, leaves in coconut milk spicy & sour soup. I would grow up having Tom Kha soup with my dad but was surprised as I've never seen fish kha in a noodle soup. I've had lots of Tom Kha and this is one of the top 3 I've had. The perfect amount of spices and aromas. Not too acidic or watery, and the right amount of sweetness. The fish was soft and had a good amount. The noodles were glass noodles, which was nice but I will say towards the end, the noodle soaks a lot of the broth. I would probably switch out for a different type of noodle next time. _Spicy Fried Rice ($13.79) Stir-fried with green beans, bell pepper, basil and your choice of chicken, pork or tofu. My bf ordered this and he did ask for medium but it was not really spicy (and that's coming from me, someone who really can't do spicy) Second time he ordered it mild and he said it was better and it did pack a bit more of a punch. I do appreciate that the rice was well seasoned and not too oily or buttery. _Orange Chicken ($13.79) Chicken breaded stir fried with Orange sauce. We have been on an orange chicken kick and compare to our favorite at Northern Cafe. We were pleasantly surprised, that this actually knocked it out. To be fair, its very different. I'm used to orange chicken being very sweet and heavy on sauce. This was more of a light sauce that had a tangerine flavor profile, so not overpowering, but still tasting the chicken with the sweetness being the enhancement instead of the main component. _Yen Ta Fo ($14.99) Pink rice noodles with special red soup, shrimp, squid, fish-balls, fish cake, imitation crab stick, tofu, white fungus & vegetables. I first saw this, when my gf, whom is Thai ordered it and I was intrigued as it was a dish I have never seen. I tried a bit and was a fan so when I saw they had it, I had to try their version. The soup was the perfect balance of sweet and sour (and I generally don't like sour), a bit acidic but also had a subtle light and refreshing taste to it. The white fungus had a nice chew to it, but more texture than taste. Safe to say we have found our new favorite Thai restaurant. We came here twice, and both times service is always very inviting and kind. Price is very fair for the quality and quantity.
