Favorite thing about this place is that they have mango sticky rice year round while nearby places sell it as "seasonal" Having tried curry literally in Thailand I can confidently say that their yellow curry is a WIN. This place is amazing! We ordered the fried Tofu triangles, pad Thai noodles with tofu, and the chow Mein noodles. My brother in law's son ordered the Thai tea as well and loved it. Service is great and very attentive. I would recommend this place to anybody. Check it out! read more

I am so disappointed right now. This place has been open for so long, my family and I have been coming here for such a long time and the reason why I ordered al la Carte for curry is because their lunch specials are so tiny. I decided to give their a la carte a try because it's been a long time and what do you know, this is just a step-above their lunch specials. 11.95$ for this amount of curry? And it's not even filled up? Halfway, are you kidding me? I was excited to eat this and I mean I still am, but I am so disappointed in the amount that's given for the price point. I don't think I'll be ordering this item again. So sad because I love thai curries. I think I might stick to my usual Thai spot!! Edit: The beef had a lot of fat pieces and therefore I'm not able to eat it, I wish there were more edible pieces to eat to be more filling GIVEN THE PRICE. I hate to say this because I know restaurants are trying to survive in this economy but I got the worst food poisoning from eating here. It was the veggie egg rolls. They were the gift that kept on given for 4 days. They weren't crunchy so I figured they had gotten room temperature and lost the crunch. I was hungry so I ate one more and left the last 2. They just seemed off. I was right. About an hour later I was nauseous and by 3 am I couldn't even keep down water. This was my first visit and it had an A in the windows so I felt it was safe. I was so very wrong. I hope this was just a fluke. read more

Ordered though postmates. Delivery was great but here's the problem. I ordered the Chu-Che Koong and was thinking there would be more to it..... $15 for something that looks like it came out of the kids menu. Sigh..... the fact that it shows this place to be cheap (price wise) is what got me interested. Needless to say, i am disappointed with the portion. Decided to try a new Thai place yesterday since this one is closer to my job than the one we normally go to. This place is very small, small parking lot too. The service was very fast and we were able to get in and out in about 40 minutes. I had their Thai Iced Coffee to drink. It had a really great flavor, better than other iced coffees I have had. We both ordered lunch specials, all of which I think were under $7.00, good deals! The specials come with soup or salad. I had the soup, which was a clear noodle soup. I really enjoyed it! It's a salty clear broth with green onions and vermicelli noodles. This would be a great soup if you are sick! For lunch I had the Yellow Chicken Curry which was really good. Next time I would order more rice though. My coworker had the Garlic Chicken. Delicious! Super strong garlic flavor and lots of chicken. We also ordered the egg rolls, which were good. A little too dry for my taste, but the dipping sauce was great. Lunch was about $11 a person, not too shabby! Glad we checked this place out, I know we will come back. read more

Sticky rice was soft and actually tasted like it was made fresh, not reheated from yesterday. Waitress was attentive and nice. Place itself is small, clean, modern, very mom-and-pop but done right, not rundown. I will definitely come back.

Its name says Thai, but over time its food has evolved to skew subtly toward a Filipino palate that balances sweet, sour, salty, umami flavors, with a mild level of spice. I wondered: how far has it veered off Thai Town's flavor baseline? Entering the place is like getting into a time capsule -- its décor is exactly the same as when I first ate here 41 years ago. The long saltwater aquarium is still there, as are the same red vinyl cushioned booths. But the carpeting is noticeably threadbare, and the starched white table linens are long gone, revealing washed-out Formica. Thai Original BBQ is known for its single-plate meals featuring proteins and vegetables over sweetish rice stir-fried in Nam Prik Pao, resulting in its orange color. Tonight's dinner was our time-tested reliables: the Combination Soup, Satay Dinner, and Chicken Ruby Dinner. The combination soup was served in a fire pot. Its comforting stock is translucent, with no visible scum - packed with umami from the fish sauce and heaped with pieces of chicken, pork, shrimp, and vegetables. So comforting, even on a warm night! The satay dinner consists of eight skewers of thinly sliced flank steak, grilled to perfection, with a sweet-spicy and creamy peanut dipping sauce. I've been coming here since I was a kid. The food is just amazing. The portions aren't huge but it's what we're supposed to be having. I come here epically for the soups because they're really tasty and healthy. The service is personal since it's a small hole in the wall which is another perk. Thai ice tea is also something you have to get here. Top notch. Beware of the parking as it's limited but other than that this is my number one Thai choice in the area. read more
