Been wanting to come here for a while. It was pretty empty on a Tuesday evening but the place was nice and clean. We ordered the drunken noodles with pork and they were good, medium heat which wasn't very spicy. Then we ordered the cashew beef with the Thai spicy level which I think is either the most spicy or second to most spicy? It was definitely spicy but tolerable and it tasted good. Then we ordered the Thai coffee which was amazing. Service was good and we would definitely go back. Plus their prices are more reasonable than some of the other places in the area read more

Looks like a family own business. The server was a nice young lady, greeted us right away and handed us the menu. Crying Tiger: a must have item. From the tenderness of the meat to the sauce it came with. Perfect. Pad see ew: I love it so much, even the veggie inside taste so flavorful. Panang curry (added bamboo shoots): very savory soup, but it doesn't come with rice. It's cost me $3.50 for a bowl of rice. I think it's overpriced. Thai tea: not bad. Very standard taste. I've been dying to try the Green Curry. It did not disappoint! It was tasty! Opted for the lunch special (11 am to 3 pm) came with rice and salad or soup (got the salad) and a eggroll. I ordered the Iced Thai Tea! Supper yummy and they have the "Good Ice!" My son got the Combo Fried Rice. Delicious! Nephew got (I believe it was the Spicy BellPepper with Chicken) He liked it! We all agreed we will be back! Server was nice and friendly. We were the first customers of the day. We stayed almost 2 hours talking lol it wasn't too busy so I don't think the server minded. Hours are 11am to 3 pm And 4 to close (forgot time) Highly recommend to try this little Gem! read more

First time going today for lunch and I had the green curry lunch special combination with chicken and shrimp spicy and it was SO delicious and flavorful. I felt that they took me serious when i said I wanted spicy because sometimes ill order spicy and i end up having to add on at other places. I had the side of soup which was Tom Kha. OMG I loved it. It came with an egg roll too. I also ordered fried squid which was so good, not oily and very crispy. Although it was a lunch special the portions werent small. I ended up taking the rest to go because I ordered the appetizer. But i will be going back. Its a nice place, cozy, and there seemed to be alot of regulars there. The food is amazing! Pad Thai 5/5- it's perfect! Not to sweet, great amount of sauce, and overall the perfect flavor! Pork Jerky 5/5- delicious! My fav part is the sauce paired with it Pad See Ew 4/5- great flavor just needed a bit more sauce for my liking. I ordered Pad Thai with extra peanuts and make it spicy. That is exactly what I got, and it was off the hook! I have to tell you I am one picky eater. My husband got the Beef and Chicken combo and he said his was good as well. Service was fast and friendly. It is a very cozy Thai place nestled in Paramount in the Doublz plaza across from the (future) Sprouts. With a decent menu size and selection, very inspired decor (the lamps are upside down soup bowls!), and excellent attentive service from the small amount of staff. On weekends, you might find it closed for private events as they seem to host the nearby Buddhist monks as soon as they open, however we've found that most Saturdays it is quite pleasant. The food was good. My husband had the yellow spicy curry. He enjoyed it however, would've preferred a pinch more spice on it. It was balanced well. I enjoyed the beef fried rice. It went well with the pad thai. I ordered the chicken pad thai. Both portions had a good size, seems enough for 2 people. I would've liked to see a bit less oil on my plate. The establishment was well kept, clean and there was availability seating. Good relaxing music selection as well. The service was excellent! Our waitress Brianna was courteous, prompt, friendly, attentive and answered questions we had about the food. She gave us a kind and wonderful manners. Thai Curry has been at the same convienient location on Paramount Blvd. since 2006. The restaurant came under new management in late 2017 and is now better than ever! Owner, Dim Nichols is from Thailand and brings an authentic taste to your table, togo, or delivered straight to you through uber eats or postmates.

Meet the Business Owner: Dim N.

Dim Nichols is a chef, entrepreneur, grandmother of six and the owner of Thai Curry. Not only does she love to cook but she also loves to eat. A large part of her motivation for operating this restaurant was her own appetite. "To cook your own meal fresh is very satisfying." She is uniquely qualified for the job due to her upbringing in Thailand and passion for Thai cusine. Making food for others is a great way of showing love for family and friends. According to Dim, there is nothing as fufilling as the look on someones face when they taste her food. With the help of the other chefs, Dim delivers authentic Thai meals that are fresh and mago sticky rice for the whole family to enjoy.

He said it was okay. It looked pretty good to me. Thai ice tea: I ordered this with boba. And as I was drinking it, I don't know what was in it but it definitely was not boba. It was orange with a chewy texture. I checked the receipt and it clearly says BOBA.

The woman at the front asked, "Can I help you?" My husband asked if they had a table available for three. She looked around and then responded, "Well, are you going to order fast? Because we're closing at 9." I completely understand that we arrived close to closing, and I'll take responsibility for not checking the hours beforehand. Had I known they closed at 9, we probably wouldn't have come in that late. That said, the way it was communicated was very unwelcoming, especially as first-time customers who had never been to the restaurant before. There are definitely more courteous ways to let customers know that the kitchen or restaurant is closing soon. We ended up leaving and eating somewhere else. Unfortunately, the interaction left such a negative first impression that I don't see myself coming back.

The soup was filed with mushrooms and chicken with a nice sour taste. Along with my lunch special I ordered some fried tofu. I used the green curry sauce to dip my tofu and let me tell you that was the best choice ever. I came around 12:00 p.m so it wasn't buy but I heard it can get busy in there. They're finally back and just like I remembered. After they closed down about 2 years ago I've searched for other Thai curry places. Lots didn't compare to them. This place has the best pad Thai and Thai curry around. They have a great amount of coconut milk, fat and oil which other places have a light amount of. They give large portions of curry too. I always have leftovers for later. Everyone is friendly, the servers and family. This family owned restaurant will still be my favorite and go to spot for Asian food. read more
