Trendy vibes, top-tier service, and an AYCE menu that delivers If you're a fan of the Shabuya experience but looking for something with a bit more of a 'night out' energy, look no further than Broth in Cerritos. The Vibe: [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space has a cool, nightclub inspired aesthetic that makes a casual dinner feel like an event. It's simple, but the atmosphere is trendy and perfect for a night out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The Food: The AYCE selection is fantastic. They have everything you could want from blue crab and mussels to fish balls and ramen noodles. Everything was fresh and hit the table quickly; the kitchen pacing here is excellent. The Service: The service was truly top-tier. Our meat and appetizers were delivered promptly, and the staff kept the momentum going throughout the entire meal. Pro-Tip: Do yourself a favor and join the Yelp waitlist before you head over! It's the best way to skip the line and get to the cocktails faster. If you're craving hot pot, this is definitely a spot worth adding to your rotation.

Found this place on yelp as I was looking to check out a new restaurant in the area. This is an all-you-can-eat shabu/hotpot restaurant. You first choose the soup base, and then you can order different types meat (beef, chicken, pork, and lamb) with your waiter/waitress (unlimited rounds). Aside from the meats, there is an area where you can select additional ingredients you like vegetables, different type of noodles, and surprising some seafood as well (shrimp, fish balls, clams, mussels, and crabs). There is another bar for making your own dipping sauces. Meat wise, it comes in small trays with a few thin slices at a time, so make sure you order plenty per round. Our waitress in-training Chloe was very attentive and provided excellent service! All the food was excellent except for the appetizers... the chicken karaages (small pieces of deep fried chicken) were all very hard to chew. Overall, good place to check it out if you like AYCE style hotpot style. Just don't order the karaage appetizers. Decently priced considering the area, and plenty of parking next to the restaurant.

FINALLY went to Broth, on a 90 degree day, lmao! Had this place bookmarked for years. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Good thing they had ac running.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Was able to get on the waitlist from home and by the time we arrived, we were seated immediately. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was surprisingly very busy and they are firm on the 90-minute rule, with a last call and all.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Great service all-around. Donnie was awesome. So nice, so attentive, so friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great vibes. Music was on point. We was movin' and groovin' while cookin' and eatin'.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Great food options at the buffet counter with delicious broth and meats delivered by Donnie. And you know the best part? It was hella cheaper than Shibuya in La Mirada. 5 stars, definitely coming back.

For 30 dollars. It's amazing meat quality and options. I will say you do get flavor fatigue because there's only one broth you can choose from but if you go with other people than you can share each others broth! Great attentive service as well. The waiters would make sure the fire was on, that we wanted another round, and our broth was full. Great quality beef! Would 100% come back

Haven't been here in over 3 years (according to my last Yelp review) only because we moved two years ago. I miss this place! Got here at 5:45pm which was perfect, no wait. By the time we left there was a crowd waiting outside. Love the variety of vegetables and add-ons here, especially the Napa cabbage, corn, mussels, and lobster balls. Our server Mark was very attentive. Our favorite meat was the pork belly and pork shoulder but there were so many more to choose from. Definitely had all I could eat here!

Nice place for all you can eat hot pot, from appetizer to main dish. The staff are nice and attentive. This place has wide variation of vegetables and the open bar is always replenished with fresh food. Great place to hang out with friends and family. Parking is ways to find

Amazing as always. Our server Randy was exceptional. Always checked up on us, made sure our broth and drinks were refilled, and had a good friendly professionalism. This place continues to be our go-to for shabu. And Randy definitely set the standard for next time! Sukiyaki my favorite but my family loves Spicy Miso! Crazy busy weekend nights but empty during the day on Monday

This place's greatest strength is definitely its affordability. Compared to other hotpot restaurants, it is much more budget-friendly, and unlike many places that charge separately for broth, meat, vegetables, and extras, this spot is all-you-can-eat, which makes it a great value. There is plenty of seating available, including indoor tables, booth seating, and outdoor seating options. On weekends, it can get quite busy and can get loud so be prepared to sit wherever space is available rather than waiting for a preferred table. However, this is also where my experience became a bit mixed. The broth lacked flavor, which was disappointing. I ordered the Sukiyaki broth since it is usually my go-to at other hotpot restaurants, but I could barely taste it here. The meat quality also felt a bit off. Instead of neatly separated slices, the meat often felt clumped together. When trying to grab a single piece to share with my group, we would often end up lifting an entire portion because the slices stuck together. I would recommend this place for its affordability and AYCE selection of meats and vegetables. If value is your priority, it is worth considering, though the flavor and meat quality may not compare to other hotpot spots.

As always it was an amazing experience beginning was a bit rocky with the host but when I was sat down with my son my server was amazing he ended up leaving me and son with a great experience, fast service , refills without asking and when the meat came out incorrectly he seen it before we had a chance to say anything came and changed it for the correct one. Big shout out to ( RANDY ) Mr. Imsosleepy this is one of my favorite place , food tasted amazing , And always a great vibe to to mention the play list Made me wanna stay there all day lol !!! Great experience overall

A good Shabu Shabu for a budget friendly! Honestly driving for bout 30-50 mins just go eat here is always a worth of drive. Meat options are delicious and their broth is tasty! The only downside is the buffet area has not a lot of options but it still gets through it. The Sesame/Peanut/Goma Sauce delicious! Compare to other shabu shabu places. My to go meats are beef toro, pork belly, prime cross rib can eat about 2x plate each lol!

    Hot pot

My to go hot pot place!!! I go here with family, friends and my partner. The customer service I experience is always so nice! The atmosphere is really lovely especially the outdoor tables. We paid about $35 per person and thats with us ordering drinks. You get unlimited refills, and the food quality is always good and fresh. I definitely recommend coming here!

Decided to take one of my girl friend out for a late birthday celebration last night since she was craving hot pot. We ended up getting seated about 30 minutes or so after making a reservation. You get 90 minutes to chow down. You start off by ordering a soup base you like followed by appetizers and of course the meats. They have a self serve bar with vegetables, a variety of noodles, and seafood items as well as a sauce bar. To start off we ordered two appetizers: one regular chicken karaage and soy glazed chicken karaage although only one came out. We followed up with our server before she had to take her "break" but it never came out. Once she came back from her break, she apologized and ended up making it herself since the kitchen was backed up!? In addition, it took some time to order our meats and get them to the table. ** I would probably suggest placing 2 orders in a row so they come out in a timely manner. In addition, when I went over to the sauce bar some of their sauces and condiments were missing since they had to refill the empty containers. I was told it would only take a few minutes so I decided to patiently wait. After 5-7 minutes, the sauce/condiment refills weren't done yet so I just decided to sit back down and eat until I saw the workers place them back. Overall, the place is decent. AYCE shabu is $29.99 for dinner. Although, I wish they would train their staff a bit more so they can efficiently work well and tag team whenever it is busy or just be proactive checking on their tables more!

    How much the dinner?

$29.99...it's market, but considering the quality of the meat, it's well worth it.

    Are the broths gluten free?

Every when is lunch price ? Is it everyday or only weekdays?

Monday to Friday until 3pm excluding holidays. Children lunch special pricing also available

Is it 20-30 dollars for everything? Like meat included and soups and everything? Obviously drinks would be apart from that but I was just wondering how the pricing worked and what the charges were.

The pricing is inclusive of all-you-can-eat meat for the soup, soup, veggies, sauce, and appetizers. You order the meats with the server and they have a veggie bar and a sauce bar. Drinks are additional but the price includes everything else.

How much is it per person for lunch time?

$20 per person plus any drinks tax tip etc

How spicy is the spicy miso, say for example compared to Sriracha is it spicier or less?

It has a nice spiciness but I always add some hot drops to kick it up a notch.

How can reservations for more 4 pp?

    Make your reservation on Yelp!

I'm allergic to peanuts - is there anything with peanuts?

Yeah just avoid the Goma Sauce. It's literally made out of peanuts

Planning to go around 7:30- 8pm on a Monday. How long is the wait around that time for a large party (12 people)? What time is last call?

Recommend calling for a reservation for a large party.

Do they do single pots or only one for everyone?

Each person gets their own pot... thank goodness!

    What time you open?

I believe it opens at 11:30 AM

    Does broth take reservation?

    via Yelp yes!

When are you going to serve octopus again? 😭😭?

Haven't seen octopus recently... But they did add pineapple squid 🤷‍♀️

This place is listed today as having outdoor seating. Is it still available? If it is, is it covered or heated? How many people can sit there? / April 8, 2023

I was literally just there and yes, they have outdoor seating. It's covered with a canopy but I don't know how many people can fit there. It looked like a decent size

    Do you serve salmon?

No did you not have salmon but they have a variety of other fish like shrimp, mussels, crab, and I want to say maybe tilapia?

    Open on Super Bowl Sunday?

    Yes, they'll be open.

Are they open today New Year's Eve?

    Probably, always opened lol

    Are pets allowed?

No. It's very busy and you get up to go to the buffet etc so I small animal would get trampled and panicked, likely. There is a sign on the front like most restaurants that says no pets allowed since it's the law but here especially would not be a…

What is the maximum number of people that can be seated at a table?

I have seen up to 20. But I would call I'm sire they can do more.

    Is there wifi there?

    No. There isn't for guests

We decided to splurge and go for the highest level which is a bit more than most places but we wanted to try some of the offerings like waygu. The waygu was definitely really good. And what surprised all of us was that second and third orders of the waygu were just as good as the first -- we've seen at other ayce restaurants the first order of the meat is the premium stuff and then they give you lower quality meat later. But not here. The quality was up there each time. The selection of meat was very good and the vegetables were also all fresh and good. They even had 3 options for noodles. The only downside was the service. The staff was friendly and worked hard. But it seemed like there were only 2 guys working so they were behind and we did have to wait a bit for each of our orders. Otherwise, this was solid.

I don't think this is a reflection of the servers though, moreso the management leaders of Yuzu. There were only 2 employees working the front side of the whole restaurant on a Thursday night. Service was extremely slow despite our servers attending all the customers. Our order was also messed up as they brought us pork even though we ordered only beef. we also ordered a lot of veggies and they only brought us only half of what we put in. Also the broth flavor wasn't as good as I remembered. The tomato broth was very bland, and the tom yum has more flavor but also had a powdery feel to the broth. Management needs to do better in booking enough staff to work on a busy night.

On previous visits, we'd be seated and end up waiting over 30 minutes before anyone even came to help us. After ordering, we'd still wait another 10 minutes or more for our food. This visit was a completely different experience. The staff was friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. Service was much faster, and we never felt forgotten. The food is still just as amazing as it's always been. It doesn't seem like anything has changed with the menu or the quality, which I'm happy about. The only small change I noticed is that the kids' meal now only applies to children under 5. That's not a huge deal, but personally I think it would make more sense if it were available for kids up to age 11. Overall, the new management seems to have made a noticeable improvement to the service while keeping the great food that keeps us coming back. I'm looking forward to visiting again.

What a disappointing experience…read more I brought my parents (84-year-old mom and 92-year-old dad) to dinner at approximately 4:10 PM. The restaurant was nearly empty -- maybe 3-4 parties total. We were initially told by an employee to sit anywhere, then immediately afterward told we needed to sign in and wait. Confusing, but okay -- we signed in around 4:15 PM. Then we waited...and waited...in a mostly empty restaurant. I politely asked multiple times whether we could place an order. One waitress responded, "Sorry, I just got here," which did nothing to address the situation or explain the process. What became frustrating was watching a party of 10 get seated while several members of their group arrived later. We were told, while pointing to that group, "they were here first." Only 2 of the 8 were present when we arrived. Maybe they technically checked in first -- but from a customer perspective, when a nearly empty restaurant leaves elderly guests waiting without explanation while accommodating a large incomplete party, it feels dismissive and poorly managed. We left, utterly dissapointed. This isn't about getting special treatment. It's about basic hospitality, communication, and situational awareness. Recommendation to management: * Train staff on guest communication and ownership ("I just got here" is not a customer-facing solution). * Establish and consistently explain seating policies. * Empower hosts to use judgment for elderly guests and small parties when capacity clearly exists. * Review camera footage from approximately 4:10-4:45 PM to evaluate queue handling, staff coordination, and whether customer experience matched intended policy. Common courtesy and common sense are part of hospitality. This experience missed both. To Manager Ms. Nguyen, please address this.
