I've been following this place on IG for a while and was waiting for an opportunity to visit during the lunch special. I was super excited to try this place because I saw that they had multiple of corn available: Mexican street corn, corn on the cob, and corn cheese! This place has an online order system where you order from your phone, which typically indicates smaller portion sizes per order. They didn't have any rice paper, but had tortillas. Portion size: this is the type of place that gives you 6-8 pieces per serving of meat ordered. Not the biggest fan of the small serving size, but the ordering system is nice that you don't have to depend on your server to order. Selection: I'm a simple girl, so brisket and beef belly were it for me. This was my first time encountering thin sliced pork belly and it was the best! I grilled mine to the perfect crisp and *chef's kiss* amazingggg!!! I would say the meat quality was on par with the lunch pricing Bar selection: they had most of my necessities like mac salad, radish paper, and sauces, but I was a bit sad that they didn't have rice paper at all that day, which is an issue I had never encountered before at a KBBQ place. They told me they get it fresh daily and had a missed delivery that day. The radish paper felt a bit thicker, but I'm not quite sure. I was able to join the waitlist from home (thanks yelp!!) and drive there during my super long wait time. Amazing feature, love that I didn't have to wait until being within 3 miles because it's hard to join a waitlist when you're driving.

TLDR: It's another cog in the Korean BBQ machine. They don't really do things so differently that they will pull you from your spot. However, if you're looking for a KBBQ spot to call "home". I think this spot is not a bad place to settle in. That's the feeling I have with this place, you've settled. It's safe, competitively priced, but there are greener pastures out there. Beef Brisket: The meat to fat ratio is the make of break for most brisket. Too lean, and it's a dry piece of paper. Too fatty, and you might as well get beef belly. Gogi's brisket varied per order cycle, but a lot of the brisket we got was decent til the tail end of the meal when things got dry. Hawaiian Style Brisket: It's the same brisket, but with a sweet sauce. I think it's worth a try. Bulgogi: The other sweet meat option that's thin but has a chunkier bite. I prefer the bulgogi over the Hawaiian Style brisket, but I'd warn diners that this dish burns the grill very quickly. Top Sirlion: It's one of their worst fat to meat ratio products, where shaving off the fat is good for you, yet you sacrifice a good amount of the flavor during the bite. I'd say the meat is good enough to enjoy by itself, but it does get old, quick. Filet Mignon: The softest bite of the night. You sacrifice a bit of the beefy taste, but you won't find anything here that has a softer chew. Ribeye: The midpoint between the sirloin and Filet. Soft when cooked well, fatty marbling baked in between the meat, all while having a very beefy taste every step of the way. Buttered Shrimp: The butter looked weird upon service, but it's enjoyable for seafood lovers. The taste you'd get is 90% butter. Tofu Soup: Not too spicy, and not too salty, but it cuts through all the fatty foods that you'll be eating. Miso Soup: It tasted like any generic miso soup. It however did not do the job of helping push the food down. Buttered Mushroom: It's 95% butter taste Fried Rice: Oily, but good. Service: I think they did a pretty good job of keeping our table packed with food. It was a busy night, though, so we weren't allowed to stay a minute more than the agreed-upon time limit. Ambiance: Classic KBBQ setup. Smoky, in a place full of exhaust and oil. They gave a buffet section where you can get cooked foods or raw meats that are pre prepped and ready to cook on your table. Basically, they outsourced some of the food to be taken by the customer.

There is no inside waiting area, but my dad and I only waited about 5 minutes to be seated, which was great. The restaurant is pretty big with around 25 tables that seat groups of four. Since it was our first time, our server Nhi showed us how everything works. You scan one QR code to see the menu, then scan another QR code to place your order for appetizers, sides, and meats. They also have a self-serve bar with additional meats, sides, and sauces, which I loved. Being able to order without waiting for the server to come back is honestly a game changer. Once we placed an order, the food came out really fast, and we pretty much always had meat cooking on the grill. The staff was also super quick about clearing empty plates, which kept the table from getting crowded. Everything we ordered (not including what we got from the self serving section) * Hawaiian Angus beef brisket * Hawaiian beef belly (x2) * Soy marinated thin sliced pork belly * Spicy thin sliced pork belly * Spicy premium beef belly (x2) * White rice * Garlic fried rice * Gyoza dumplings (4 pcs) * Mexican street corn * Cinnamon pineapple All the meat was delicious and flavored to the gods. Honestly there wasn't a single meat I didn't like. The only thing I wasn't really a fan of was the street corn, but I might be a little biased since I'm Mexican lol.

Let's Gogi has officially become my favorite KBBQ spot! Their pricing is also really good: $29.99 after 3pm and on weekends, but only $19.99 from opening until 3pm. Unfortunately for me I get off work at 5pm, so I usually miss the cheaper price, but it'll definitely come in handy on a day I'm off. One thing I really love is that you order everything from your phone and your food shows up within minutes. It makes the whole experience super smooth and you're not constantly trying to flag down servers. They also have a buffet-style bar where you can grab extra meats that aren't on the regular menu, plus tortillas, rice paper, jalapeños, and other good sides. Another thing I thought was cool is that they don't just have cheese corn -- they also offer esquite, which I don't see at a lot of KBBQ spots. My only small complaint is that the cheese corn had a little too much mayo for my taste, which made it a bit more liquidy than I'd prefer. Aside from that though, everything else was great. Even the music was poppin and added to the vibe. Definitely coming back!

$20 lunch special menu

WARNING FOOD POISONING--Came to try the $20 lunch special (M-F before 3pm) and while it was a decent experience there... I got the most horrid case of food poisoning later that night. I came yesterday around 1 pm and definitely got my money's worth of AYCE and was full the rest of the day, skipped dinner... and by midnight had full blown stomachache and multiple rounds of diarrhea overnight. I didn't have anything else to eat that day so this is the clear cause!! My guess is the self serve bar had contamination with fresh vegetables (or utensils) and raw marinated meat. How it works is you order a couple things online via QR code like the thin sliced meats (eg. Sliced brisket, thin pork belly, beef belly) and appetizers (eg. Fried dumplings and miso soup). Everything else you pick up yourself at their self serve buffet bar. They have raw marinated meats sitting in buckets and you put it on a plate and grill on your table. The bar also has ready-to-eat food items like kimchi, salad, macaroni salad and sauces. Everything is labeled with their individual tongs but .... There must have been cross contamination via dirtied tongs or plates or mixing raw marinated meat with the cooked/raw items. Food alone was fine, nothing crazy memorable (cmon now it's $20 so it's good value but nothing super high quality) and the service was quick ... but since I got food poisoning I'm very hesitant to recommend and won't be coming back.

Note: This place gets busy, so the Yelp waitlist is very convenient. When I go here there was quite a wait, which I should have utilized the Yelp waitlist. But for a party of 2, we waited about 30+ minutes to be seated when we added our name to the waitlist there. Once seated, our server explained that we can scan the QR table from our table and order right away. There you can order apps, meats, drinks, and sides. And I really liked the concept of the open bar as you can choose more sides, meats, and even make your own sauces. The usual salt, oil, brisket sauce and spicy sauce was provided on your table. Very convenient because I always ask for more salt, oil, and brisket sauce for my meats. My favorite was the soy marinated meats you can order from the QR code - esp the thinly sliced beef and pork belly! I like how they have rice paper and even tortillas you can get from the bar! I'm always asking for more rice paper, so I liked not having to ask and just get what I want there. This place has a cool ambiance. Just like your typical kbbq restaurant. It can get loud when busy, so it's kind of hard to speak to your party. Overall, I will definitely be coming back here cos I had such a great experience!

Guys this place is just amazingly good the food is just perfect and the service has improved more than what it used to be our servers were on us all the time asking if we need anything else is just join full to eat over here and the ambiance is great Thank you Jasmine for the everything.

Ok, for $20? You can't go wrong! They have a great amount of choices for meats for $20! Their booths are a little small for taller people since the middle will have the gas part and you will hit your knees so maybe ask for a table rather than a booth. The servers are on it! Friendly and fast! Food came out fast and there were a few people already. For the meats, I prefer the pork ! The pork selection was great! I could def taste the quality of it over other kbbq that I've been to. The beef was just ok. Nothing special... it's just ok. The banchans were good but nothing special. I did not like their sweet potato Tempura. Their jap chae was super salty for my taste. The rest was ok! For the price you really can't beat it! I greatly enjoyed the pork!

This place was pretty good. I visited because I saw a clip on insta. $20 for a meal like this... you really can't complain. Fast food alone is already getting to this price, and for this it is a really good deal. Just to clarify the special is for lunch time M-F. $20 for regular and $30 for the Premium which is also discounted from the regular price It was quite nice to have the sauce and banchan bar where you can grab your own dishes. This prevents to keep having to get refills from the staff. They also had marinated meats you can grab, but those were not our cup of tea. We did keep ordering their beef belly and brisket. There was so many different sauces, and I enjoyed that they had rice paper on the side. I found out that they do have another location in Rowland Heights. It seems that they also have the same deals. Would love to try the premium option next time. The server was friendly and they regularly came to change our grill. Again you really can't beat the price for the quality of food and experience. Until next time !

I been coming here since they opened but unfortunately the quality of meat and sides is not as good anymore , overpriced drinks too . And I tried almost everything to give it one more chance but it just didn't seem to really hit .

Super value lunch AYCE KBBQ for $19.99! I'm good with just the variations of beef belly and pork belly on the cheaper menu and I love it when a KBBQ place has pineapple and corn cheese on the menu, YES! And I would pay premium for beef tongue, pork jowl and picanha next time. Although it felt like the buffet bar was falsely advertised as some of the items weren't available at the time. The label for steak was there but the slot for it was empty. *I also would like to flag that my boyfriend caught an employee who walked out of the restroom without washing his hands.

stephanie s.

$19.99 are you out of your mind!! you would be if you sleep on this lunch promo M-F from 11-3p. The promo applies to the regular menu that has a variety of meat, plentiful of sides. They have a self serve bar for the sides, sauces and some meat. Order by QR code. Service is prompt than some other AYCE KBBQ spots. Did not have to flag anyone down and they kept the table clean by collecting extra plates right away. The only "con" would be the wait. we got here around 1130 and half the place was already full but the staff runs this place smooth and with a smile.

Pitmasters' Society BBQ Grill…read more This is a review for my dining experience at Pitmasters' Society BBQ Grill. https://www.bbqgrillpitmasters.com/ My friends and I enjoyed eating at Pitmasters' Society BBQ Grill. Words to describe the cuisine would be sophisticated and elevated BBQ with Romanian fusion. Very flavorful and filling! LOCATION: It is located in the food court at Stonewood Mall. HOURS: They serve lunch and dinner. 10:00am-8pm SERVICE: We were greeted with a warm smile by Lori. I have never tasted Romanian food before, so I was excited to learn about their menu. She recommended several items for us to choose from. MENU We ordered the 3 MEAT COMBO PLATTER: You can select different meats. We chose: pork belly, sausage, and ribs, with corn and french fries. Wow! Every bite was delicious! I loved the seasonings! Salty goodness from the pork belly, the Romanian sleeveless sausage, "Mici" made from beef and pork was perfectly seasoned and paired well with mustard, and the ribs were tender and fell right off the bones. None of the meats were tough and were very scrumptious! :) ------ BRISKET SANDWICH -Delicious! The brisket was very tasty and was definitely the star of the sandwich! The bread, cheese, and the veggies that accompanied the brisket was the perfect ratio. I could taste each element in every bite! Other dishes we ate: PASTRAMI SANDWICH: Fun fact, Pastrami originated from Romania! Pastrami comes from the word pastramă which means to preserve. So of course their pastrami was top notch! BURNT ENDS TRITIP SIDES: For the sides they were all yummy. Sides they serve include frenchfries, vegetables, macaroni, mashed potatoes, and corn. My personal favorite was the mashed potatoes! They were whipped to perfection and creamy. I enjoyed the meal with my friends! I liked the presentations of each dish. The generous portions, fresh ingredients, and the garnishes on top of the foods made it look very special. We had to give accolades to the cook, Manny who made each dish. ***All in all I had a great experience dining at Pitmasters' Society BBQ Grill! If you are a meat and potatoes person, THIS IS THE PLACE! Their specialty is their grilled and smoked meats. It is great bbq packed with unique flavors inspired by Romania. Everything is fresh and appetizing! Poftă bună! :)

I wanted to try a little of everything so I ordered the 3 meat combo (chose ribs, chicken & brisket) & a burnt end pork belly / sausage mix. I really enjoyed the baked beans, burnt bit pork belly, & brisket - they all had good flavor. The chicken was good and not dry. The bbq ribs was decent but not super juicy / tender. The sides were a miss for me (besides the baked beans), the fries were a bit soggy (I mean could be because I got takeout), and the flavor of the slaw and the potato salad (?) could be better imo. But overall the bbq was tasty and is a fantastic value & i would order again to try more of their selections!

He ran through the different meats and even showed up the different kielbasas that came out of the smoker. Coleslaw was amazing, personally added more pepper. Mac n Cheese was divine, nice and cheesey. Smoked beans were great but I personally would gone for two Mac n cheeses. This review is for the Paramount location. I got a few items: Dino rib, pork ribs, brisket, sausage, mac and cheese and corn bread. I'll start with the positives. The mac and cheese and corn bread were decent. Also they took 15 minutes to give me all the varied food I ordered which should have been my red flag to run, but I decided to live dangerously and was punished severely for it. Now on to the travesty, the meat. The theme for today was dry, old and shameless. The pork was somehow undercooked and dry. Which if you can endure the cruelty, is actually kind of impressive. The brisket resembled beef jerky. I'm including pictures of the brisket since those speak much more eloquently than I can. I love to cook and I infamously over season my dishes. But all these meats were at a whole another level. Not salty but aggressively peppery and just ham handed. The rub was flavorful but it blew out my palette instantly. Please take this to heart: less is more. In terms of meat quality? Cheap. My Dad is a butcher, I can tell. Everything being reheated did the meat quality no favors either. The seasoning was further exacerbated because the ribs, both dino and pork, were almost entirely bone. So you have a ton of seasoning on a lick of meat. It was a recipe for disaster. And price? Expensive, especially for what I received. Insulting for what I received. I'll end it here. I don't want to waste your time like this place wasted mine.
