This is a really good ayce sushi place. The assortment of sushi is very good and the quality of the sushi is also very good, particularly for an ayce place. They have an ordering system at each table that makes ordering easy and you don't have to wait for a server. But a few things you need to know: 1) there's a "cool off" period after you put in an order so don't prematurely hit the "order" button because you won't be able to put in another one for a while. 2) each order is 1 piece of sushi, not 2 as most places are. So count each piece you want. 3) most of the pieces of sushi are smaller than most places so order a little more. I actually like the smaller size -- it's much easier to pop the whole thing in your mouth and the proportion of fish to rice is very good. Also, the udon is quite good for a sushi place. There are a good amount of ayce sushi spots in the area, but my husband and I keep going back to Sake 2 Me. The quality of their sushi is amazing. They have a good fish/rice ratio, unlike other spots where they would either have too much rice with the size of their fish. All the rolls are great. We especially love their albacore! The food comes out fairly quickly and ordering from the screens on the tables makes it so much easier. Great service and great food! Wait times can be crazy during rush hour though! I'd recommend getting there right before they open so you don't have to wait so long! read more

We've been coming here for years, for company lunches, date nights, and whenever family or friends visit. It's always our first choice for AYCE sushi. The sushi is always fresh, and each piece has just the right amount of rice. We also love their appetizers, grilled dishes, and fried items. My boyfriend's favorite is the grilled squid, which is perfectly cooked every time. The service is fast and friendly, and the cozy atmosphere makes every visit enjoyable. I've been here multiple times and the seared peppered salmon is still the undisputed champion of the menu for me. No notes. Absolute supremacy. The only downside is that food can take a while to come out when they're busy--I've definitely waited 20+ minutes for some orders before. The sushi and fish quality were mediocre in my opinion, but it's still worth the price for AYCE, especially with the extensive menu. The rolls were huge, but many of them tasted similar rather than having their own distinct flavors. I still enjoyed the food. That may have been user error though but I feel all rolls should have distinction. I opted out of the AYCE sashimi because it costs extra. Great hospitality from Tyus and Ember (or Amber)! They were proactive and I never had to ask for anything. They thoroughly explained the ordering process, regularly refilled our waters, and brought us extra napkins after noticing we were running low before we had a chance to ask. We arrived at 4PM on a Monday and were seated immediately. Dinner was $39 per person and AYCE sashimi is available for an additional charge. The tablet ordering system was efficient (and saves paper) and our food came out quickly. The dining time limit is 90 minutes. After placing an order, there's a 10 minute wait before you can order from that same section again. The place is cozy with comfortable booth seats, several table options, and dimly lit lights. The business is located in a plaza with other popular dining restaurants and plenty of parking. Tip: They charge for leftover rolls. If you're struggling to finish, remove some of the rice and eat the fish and fillings instead. That can help reduce food waste and avoid an extra charge. read more

I went to Sake 2 Me with a friend for all you can eat sushi. They have a 90 minute sitting time that starts before you order anything. They have a large selection of sushi rolls, appetizers and items included in the all you can eat price of $49 per person and then some options you can add on for an added price. Once you order they put a 7 minute freeze on ordering more so make sure you order more than 1 thing at a time. I was a little disappointed because I felt like all of the rolls had the same ingredients. There wasn't a big variety between rolls. The tempura in our rolls was soggy, not freshly fried and crispy. The edamame was overly steamed, falling apart as we ate it. There was also no ice cream or dessert options included in all you can eat. This was an average experience, tastes good but not excellent. Go to sake 2 me if you're hungry and looking to eat a ton but if you prefer high quality sushi I'd look elsewhere. read more

To start off, I was stationed in Japan for 3 years. Japanese food is my 1B cuisine next to Italian food. Sake2Me Sushi is my favorite California style AYCE sushi I've been to so far. I've eaten here for years, forgot to review it! With tip for a couple, it's usually 100 bucks, totally worth it if you add up howuch you eat to single plate sushi establishments. The quality isn't cheap either, tastes premium. My favorite specific is a Vegas Roll. I enjoy almost everything on the menu, that's a part of my initial order. We usually get all the 2pc limited plate orders of the sushi appetizers and carpaccio. For other baked side samples, I think the stuffed mushrooms, Jalapenos, and shishito peppers hit the spot without being too filling. The peppers look like a lot but go down easy. Pro tip, AYCE eaters recommend eating a spicy food first to open up your tummy for the 90 minutes you have to order! Over the last couple months, they expanded their offerings of the standard menu and premium, haven't done that one yet but all the dishes I've tried are genuinely good. The servers here are always professional and courteous to me. There's usually a long wait line for how popular it is, but if you get on the wait list, there's a lot of places to go around in the area to fill up your time. My favorite part, besides the food, this place compares to other AYCE in the area, is the feeling. There's different clocks on the walls. The lighting, vibe with the tables and sushi bar is comfortable to be in not stuffed like some alternatives can be. Never has a bad experience here. Looking forward to going back shortly, try it out! Back in town came here with my daughter for dinner, this place has I came more then 3 X. It's always been good with the food. Sushi size became smaller then the last time I been here but overall the sushi, the rolls, to the ramen noodle, etc was good. Service, the host can work on her attitude, she talks to you like she's yelling. Ambience here they got a lot of table and booth and they play loud music, in some ways it's hard to speak to one another because the music is so loud. I came here to celebrate my birthday dinner with some friends. Sake 2 me is definitely my go to place for AYCE sushi. The sushi here is fresh, delicious, and tasty. You get 2 hours to enjoy all of the options. I love how fresh and flavorful the sushi was. Cameron our server was amazing. He was very helpful, professional, and very tentative. He made sure we got plenty of water refills and take away all the empty dishes from the table. He is awesome! Ambiance here is cozy and nice. Lots of tables and booths. They are always busy, so make sure you go early to put yourself on the waitlist. They do max out and end the waitlist reservation for the day so be sure to get there early. read more

For those who have never been, this place only does all you can eat sushi. The sushi is delicious though and really god quality. I loved the selection and flavor profiles. The setup is basically self serve as you order from a small kiosk on your table. The location is always crowded, but there is a 90 minute limit. The rolls were great and being able to order 10-20 sushi pieces with some varieties in a single request is really great. Quite disappointed in this place. We wanted to try this place because we've always seen the line out the door. First, we waited over an hour on the waitlist, which was fine if the food was good. There's limited options here for nigiri beyond the basics (no yuzu yellowtail, no jalepeno-topped fish, no garlic tuna, none of the classic nigiri). Their premium options don't even compare to an average AYCE sushi in Vegas. Unfortunately there aren't any AYCE sushi competitors in the area - which is why I think the place can get away with this. The is an all you can eat sushi restaurant. The price is ok per person, just as long as you come hungry. The service was good, you order through the tablet on the table. Even how busy it was we still got our order in a reasonable time. The atmosphere is casual and it's a bit noisy as many people are talking around you, but it was ok. There is a 90min time limit and the tablet shows the count down. The sushi is great. Tastes fresh and they have many options. My daughter loves salmon so we ordered so much of it. Pretty good all you can eat sushi spot, I would like to come here more often if I lived closer to this area. There's a lot of different kinds of fish to choose from, and all pretty fresh, and the plates come out pretty quickly shortly after putting in the orders. I like the classics with salmon and tuna, but also the seared cuts with salt and pepper are also tasty. this is literally my fave and go to AYCE sushi!! I've been coming here for about 10 years and it's always been great for any occasion. The parking lot is big but it fills up fast so I recommend going a little earlier so you can get good parking and less of a wait. The service used to be very 50/50 but in the last couple years it's been really good I think the ipad ordering helped their staff out quite a bit! overall i'd recommend this place to anyone who loves sushi or even someone who doesn't! Visited here to celebrate early LNY with my family. Parking: This spot is located in a high foot traffic plaza. Finding a parking spot can be difficult. Ambiance/Environment: They're always busy, despite it being a weekday or weekend. You can join the waitlist at the podium or on Yelp, but if you have a party of 7+ then you have to partner with a host. My family and I visited right at opening at 11:30 on a Sunday, and it was extremely packed already. There's plenty of indoor seating and no outdoor seating. Service: Shout out to our server Justin for being quick & efficient! He checked on us a couple times and refilled our waters. It's an hour and a half dining experience. They charge extra if there's an excessive amount of leftovers. You'd order from the tablet each round, and once you place your order, you'll have to wait a bit before you place another order. Sushi: They gave us a generous amount of wasabi and ginger. When I say generous, I mean like ice cream scoops of wasabi lol. Their fish was fresh, smooth, and dressed well. My favorites were the No Rice Rolls. If you like fish and no rice, then these are perfect for you. They have plenty of appetizers and non-sushi options like ramen, cooked fish, and chicken. They also offer a lot of rolls. The pictures can be deceiving bc the rolls came out smaller than expected. I guess small portion sizes allows more room for other food .. Presentation was okay. I was a bit disappointed in their blue fin tuna sushi. It was thinly sliced and quite small, so I thought they were being a bit frugal. Other than that, we enjoyed everything else. This used to be my go-to AYCE sushi spot for the price and quality. I haven't been back in 2 years and unfortunately the quality has gone down significantly. The fish is average to slightly above average but what really ruined the whole experience was the rice. Maybe it was a bad day but it was SO MUSHY and DENSE. Each nigiri had 2 tablespoons worth of rice?? What happened. I used to come here because the rice portion for the nigiri was very small compared to other AYCE places. Very sad to see one of my old favorite places decline so much in quality/taste. This place is always packed (especially on weekends) so I recommend hopping on the Yelp waitlist as soon as you are in the vicinity. Incredible Sushi place in the heart of OC with plenty of ordering options. However I made the mistake coming here on a Friday evening which resulted on an almost 2 hours wait before being seated. Location: Free parking Atmosphere/Ambiance:: Beautiful decorated restaurant with plenty of inside seating but no outdoor patio. Awesome wall decor Food: Loved the variety of the sushi and everything was fresh and tasty. I really loved the idk rolls which were so good. This is my all time favorite ayce sushi spot. I've been going here for years driving 30-45min away to get to this spot. I've even tried other places and this one is still the best. Theyve raised their prices a bit so it's $39.99 a person for dinner and weekends so I don't come as often since it's gotten pretty pricey but it's still the best one. This time they added a new menu ordering system where you order on a touch screen that is essentially part of the table. Once seated and you start you have an hour and a half and the timer starts once you touch the menu. You can order as much as you would like but once you submit your order there's 7 min where you can't start the next order. You have to scroll down the menu to put what you want and when you click on the sushi rolls, it goes to a screen where it tells you what's inside. You don't have a 3 order limit anymore just the timer. Not sure if I was a fan of the new ordering system. I felt rushed and felt that I was looking at the timer frequently as opposed to just enjoying my meal. It was just my wife and I but I can't imagine having a huge party and using this.. we finished our meal with about 12min to spare. It's still a good spot but I'd recommend taking off the timer or letting them order with maybe 3-5min between orders? We ordered about 3 times and that already takes away 21min plus add on the scrolling and looking at stuff. The timer just continues to roll. read more

430 pm, Tuesday, December 23, 2025 No problem getting seated, there wasn't a crowd there yet when we arrived. An hour later, the dinner crowd arrived. It was noisy. A mix of house style dance, and Christmas tunes (pick one & stick to it). It was so noisy anyway I couldn't hear the Christmas music. My plate was not clean, the napkin was stuck to it. Eew, gross! I didn't use it. I started with the sashimi salad. It was a mixed greens salad at the last visit. This time it had iceberg mix. Sashimi cubes tossed in an orange mayo dressing. It was okay. I did my best to steer clear of rice and fried items. The sushi burrito was good (composed of krab salad, sashimi, soy wrapper); protein roll (similar to the burrito but with tempura shrimp), fresh water eel (the sauce is so good!), hand rolls (would be soo much better with premium nori seaweed; it was low quality & chewy), sashimi (was just okay), karage (omg! So good fresh fried), teriyaki steak (wasn't good; chewy, not premium beef). Men's restroom... Why continue the faux wood flooring from the dining room and into the restroom too?? There's no slip resistant surface in there! So slippery! At least the hot water faucet works. Single person men's & women's restrooms so there will be a wait if it's in use. No all gender accommodations. The service was average, not exceptional. The tablet ordering system battery is worn out, it died after 75 minutes. Or it wasn't plugged in to the power supply. My friends & I came around 6pm on a Wednesday for dinner time which was somewhat busy but we were sat within 15-20mins. I love this sake2me because it's spacious with bar, booth, and table seating with chic wall props. Our server, he was very professional, knowledgeable, checked on our table at least 3x, gave us multiple refills on drinks etc which was great! When we were ordering our 3rd round, our tablet malfunctioned 2x so we had to flag down a server which took a couple minute since they were busy to manually put in our order. All the staff were very nice & helpful! There's 3 rounds of ayce sushi you can order which is great for the dinner price of $37.99! The quality of the sushi has always been amazing so it's worth the price. I love getting the salmon nigiri, bluefin tuna nigiri, masago nigiri, oishi rolll, roly poly roll, salmon lover roll, spicy garlic edamame, baked mussels, & miso soup to end my 3rd round. I get spicy mayo & eel sauce on the side since soy sauce is good but not my favorite. The soda drinks are refillable so I got 3 refills on my dr.pepper. read more

I visited the Cerritos Sake 2 Me on a Saturday right when they opened. Had we not gotten seated right away, we probably would've had to wait an hour so I'm glad we got there early. The carpaccio and bluefin were great. I really enjoyed the seasoning and microgreens on the carpaccio orders, and the bluefin was nicely fatty, which I really appreciated. Overall, their premium nigiri selection was consistently great, I just wish we were not limited to 2 per person. That said, the appetizers left something to be desired. I also found it a bit odd that they charge an extra $1-$2 for certain appetizers like the salmon/yellowtail collar so we decided to skip it. The staff were very friendly and attentive and deserve 5 stars for service. There were noticeable delays between rounds of sushi orders. While ordering from the iPad was convenient, it seems like it can lead to a backlog of orders compared to the traditional paper menu system. Overall, it's still one of the best spots in the area for AYCE sushi and the atmosphere inside is lively and energetic. read more

The servers were always on top of us to make sure we were taken care of and the fish quality was so good for what we can usually expect in the US (it ain't good vs Asia lol. 10/10 will come back when i am craving sushi! My husband and I went right as they opened for happy hour where it was $30/pp! We joined the waitlist and after about 20 or so minutes we were sat down at a table where we were explained the menu. I love going to AYCE sushi because 1) my husband can actually get full from the amount of food compared to other sushi restaurants, and 2) we get to try so many different things that we may not want to risk trying without any guilt! Here there were a lot of options to choose from and we tried a couple new items such as peppered grilled salmon (my favorite!!), albacore (it was okay, but wouldn't get again), squid (didn't end up liking it - very slimy!), a few hand rolls (salmon & eel), and a lot of different types of carpaccio (the fish we chose are escaping me). The salmon used here was the star of the show as it was very fresh with a hint of sweetness, and each nigiri had a thick cut on top. Even the plain salmon rolls were yummy! I was also a fan of the eel sushi as I love the sauce used, however I wouldn't recommend the eel hand roll as I had a lot of bones left in mine and it made it a bit uncomfortable to finish. My husband had to finish that one for me! The restaurant itself was kept from being too noisy since we were sat in booths, and the lighting was soft and moody - if we came for dinner I'm sure it would've been perfect! Service and the food were very prompt and our server was kind. We had one order that didn't end up coming, and we let her know and she handled it quickly and professionally! Overall, I would definitely come again and order the peppered salmon belly, eel nigiri, and any and all salmon and yellowtail sushi/carpaccio! We keep coming back for the peppered salmon, it's that good. Melts in your mouth and has the perfect amount of pepper. Not overly spicy like some places that drown it in rayu (chili oil) and end up overpowering the salmon. Here, it's just really well balanced. Everything tastes super fresh and high quality. Service is always amazing too, attentive and quick every time. It's a pretty casual spot and almost always busy, so definitely put your name down ahead of time. Sake To Me appears to be very popular and has many good reviews but it didn't work out for me unfortunately. This all-you-can-eat restaurant runs about $40 a head and includes rolls, sushi, tempura, and appetizers such edamame, karaage, and even galbi. Note that sashimi is an extra charge. We ordered several dishes including apps and sushi. The tempura was not good It tasted as if it was from a frozen package perhaps - the batter was thin and chewy as opposed to fluffy and crispy. Also, the galbi's flavor was weak and tough to chew and swallow. The karaage was the only good appetizer we had. The sushi, rolls, and sashimi (which is extra $) were actually okay. So I can see the appeal of this place. $40 a persons for AYCE is a good deal especially for families . Perhaps pass on the appetizers and stick to those items. Note: the restaurant is a good size. Great service! We came here for my friends birthday and the staff is very nice. We all did it all you can eat option and our waiter was super helpful and recommending some of their best rolls and dishes. You have to order off an iPad and there are some time restrictions on when you can re-order but our waiter said that if we gave him our order, he could bypass that and get us the dishes we wanted. The waiters were all very kind, and the service was really fast. If you go we recommend ordering a bunch of small orders instead of big orders so that the food comes out a little faster. We really loved a lot of the non-rice protein rolls, but all the sashimi and rolls that we tried were very good. If you like muscles I recommend the bacon wrap muscles, there are 2 per order. The dynamite roll was very good. We also recommend the scallop roll,fatty tuna, smoked salmon. We also really like the Korean Galbi and the shrimp tempura. You may want to get multiple orders since the orders are pretty small. I would stay away from the edamame, it's overcooked. Also the chicken Katsu came out burnt. We also thought that the seaweed salad was underwhelming, but the sashimi salad was very good. Also be prepared for a wait. We had to wait over an hour for a table. We also have a limit of 90 minutes once you sit down. Overall, I think that this was a great experience, especially if you're celebrating an event. If you have SchoolsFirst, please avoid this place. My card declined and the server came saying it declined and she didn't know why. My husband then handed his (also SchoolsFirst) and it also declined. The server suggested we check our phones to see if we received any notification from the bank but we didn't receive anything. I even called my bank today and there's no record of a transaction being declined. It would have been so much easier if the restaurant posted their payment preferences online or at the restaurant and if the employees knew what they were. This situation could have been avoided if employees knew their own policies. I'd really appreciate it if the owner or manager contacted me. read more
