Went in a for a date night with my husband and we ate so much sashimi, they are so fresh, tasty and flavorful. We also ordered shrimp and soft crab tempura. They are all made fresh, so hot that the jiuce spilled out and I burned my Here what I don't recommend is the Tonkatsu Ramen it noodles were all stick together, the pork was so tough, and the soup tasted nothing but salty water run down soup, and it wasn't hot but warm We also ate a few chicken skewers with dark meat and chicken balls, not bad. But we prefer a mixture of sushi and sashimi. My favorite was the Uni and Salmon belly, only 1 piece per person because it tasted like heaven, that fatty and fresh taste that melted in your mouth I wanted to come back again soon ~!!!!! Food wise, Aburi is pretty solid with an overwhelmingly huge selection for their menu. Everything else wise, you would think that this is a high school football fundraiser where the players have to run the restaurant for a day. I'm not pointing fingers at anyone, not the servers, nor the chefs but whatever system they got going on has got to be some sort of social experiment. Ordering on the tablet is pretty straight forward and seems like it would be a good system. However, once you place your order, I think the tablet bets your order on a hand of blackjack and depending on if it wins or loses, you may or may not receive that order. We went around closing and were very aware of last call at 9:30 and we placed our orders with this in mind. 9:30 rolls around and we're expecting more food but I look up and see the sushi chefs packing up. We ask our server where the rest of our orders are that are definitely registered in the tablet and she says sorry the kitchen is closed. Paying the full price just to pick at the ginger and little tempura flakes like a starving little vulture was the lowest point of my day and I feel like I got ripped off and ripped a new one by Aburi. Great price around the area with quality food. I got the $34.99 ayce dinner/weekend deal for my sister and I, there's also a premium $39.99 sashimi ayce price. Came like 10-15 minutes before they opened at 11:30am incase the wait got bad and we were first but the line grew quick closer to opening time. I would recommend going right when they open and placing your order on the table tablets ASAP because after like 30-40 minutes of the restaurant opening, their kitchen was backed up and it took a lot longer to get our food. Haven't been here in a while, but because it was nearby and my friend and I were really craving sushi we went here. We came at the end of the night and were one of the last parties to be seated. The hostess was very sweet communicating with us to let us know about the wait times. The servers checked in on us regularly and were also very nice as well. Although the service was good, $50 for ayce (including the additional charge for sashimi) is honestly so expensive. Esp given the quality of the fish we were served. The cuts were uneven and some still cold with an icy texture, which ig makes sense since it was the end of the night. The carpaccios cuts were also thick and I wish there was more sauce that came with them. I remember a few years back I used to love their carpaccios but now they are so underwhelming. The restaurant is very nice decorated and the staff are friendly and fast with orders. If you do AYCE sushi, highly recommended you order all dishes right away and refill or order more within 10-15 minutes. We were there on Friday night and some plates took 20-30 minutes. I usually love going to all-you-can-eat sushi with my group of friends--we're all big sushi lovers and always excited to try new spots. Unfortunately, our experience at Aburi Sushi was by far the worst AYCE sushi experience any of the six of us have ever had. We came in very hungry, but quickly lost our appetite. The salmon tasted extremely fishy and had a strong odor similar to spoiled food. The yellowtail was incredibly chewy--almost like chewing gum. Overall, the texture of nearly every piece of sushi was slimy, fishy, and very difficult to eat. As a group, we were genuinely afraid to keep eating because we were worried about getting sick or food poisoning. Despite barely being able to eat, we still had to pay full price and left the restaurant hungry, which made the experience feel like a complete waste of money. To make matters worse, we had placed orders for about 20 pieces of sushi that never came out. When we checked with the server, we were told there were no pending orders. We then placed additional orders--but shortly afterward, all the sushi came out at once. We were left with an overwhelming amount of food that tasted very bad. We tried switching to non-sushi items just to fill our stomachs. Unfortunately, the ramen broth tasted old, and the smell of the pork chashu was so strong it was inedible. The takoyaki was dry and also tasted old. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. I would not return, as I would be scared of getting sick. The restaurant seriously needs better quality control and order management--or it may need to reconsider operating at all. read more

Almost as if it was not thoroughly thawed before serving. I have no issue with frozen fish, all "sushi grade" fish in the U.S. is frozen at some point, but serving it this way took away from the texture. And it was pretty packed. Clean atmosphere. I think probably the only dish I didn't like was the spicy tuna crispy rice. I've never had a rice that was so crispy that it would hurt my teeth! Lol I think this is one of those dishes that you should definitely make fresh to order. As it is definitely a popular dish. And the rice needs to be hot? As far as the quality of the sushi, you definitely get what you pay for. But for here, it's actually really decent. Don't get scared and miss out on an opportunity. I ordered a wide variety of fresh rolls such as the Angry tail roll to their no rice rolls like albacore rollin and salmon poke nachos which comes on a fried wonton i believe which is unique and good! And i usually dont like baked rolls or anything with mayo but i did order the tempura roll called black widow roll which i highly recommend. They also have carpaccio i ordered their truffle garlic albacore carpaccio that was amazing! I've been going to Aburi since 2019 and their menu has improved so much throughout the years! It's one of my favorite AYCE sushi spots because of how affordable it is while also being high quality. Their fish to rice ratio is perfect and I love that they have so many options for sushi, rolls, and even appetizers/hot food. The service has been consistently good even when it's crowded. Sometimes I'll wonder when a food item is coming and as I'm wondering, the server will bring it out. It's a pretty wide and spacious restaurant with many tables and offers outside seating on a cute patio. I love that they have a lot of premium items to order despite the lower price tag compared to a lot of AYCE sushi spots! Some of my favorite nigiri items are the salmon and yellowtail belly, halibut, sweet shrimp, and jumbo scallop. I also enjoy the soft shell crab and chicken and leek yakitori from the premium items. I came here with my parents as they really wanted some sushi. We wanted to try out a new spot and saw that this one had a sashimi offering, so we decided to try it out. The wait time is pretty long if you go during the super busy dinner rush, so I'd recommend stopping by about an hour before to have a shorter wait time. It was super nice that you used a tablet to order, so you don't have to submit the typical paper order to a server. It really made ordering a lot more convenient and just really simplified the process. What is even better is that you really can just order whenever too; there wasn't a time restriction placed on orders. We got the AYCE sashimi, and it was just wonderful. My youngest son took me and my husband out for lunch for Father's Day and this was my first time visiting. I saw this place trending on instagram as a lot of foodies have taken on the sushi challenge, but you definitely will not see us trying to tackle that. I probably can take on 3-4 rolls but I think that's pushing it since I normally only eat 1-2 rolls. When we visited we came at a great time, we showed up as they opened so there was a line but it wasn't packed yet, but in a matter of 30min the place was filled and almost all the tables were taken. This is probably my 2nd time ever going to an AYCE sushi place and this one is by far the best quality AYCE we have ever visited. The service was amazing, the staff were super friendly, fast and checked up on us regularly. It's not too noisy at the restaurant but they have music and the tv going. If you have never been to an AYCE sushi restaurant then this is the place to try. One advice I can give is to make sure to order in increments so you don't end up ordering too much food and make sure you count all your rolls because although we had an amazing experience, about 5 rolls we ordered didn't end up showing up to our table. They have an option for just the AYCE rolls not including the raw fish, but if you love raw fish then I would advise you go for it. Came here on MLK Day right before the lunch rush at 12:40pm. The wait was only 30 minutes for a table of 4 regular adults (does not include sashimi or carpaccio) all you can eat option. When seated, the waiter gave us an iPad where we submit our orders and order our drinks with him. The drinks came out in less than a minute. The staff were very attentive and service was fairly quick. I noticed that there were a couple of roll/items we ordered missing-- but staff brought it out quickly after we pointed it out. Most of the rolls came out in 4pc, there were some that only comes in 2pcs but the iPad does state which rolls come in 2pcs. I really like that they don't give you the full 8pc roll so you get to order more rolls to try without being stuffed. My favorites were the seared salmon nigiri, Cajun tuna nigiri, and yuzu salmon roll. I highly recommend trying this place at least once, as the all you can eat quality is very good compared to other places. read more
