thats not real sweet shrimp, no head. but the belly pieces are good, very small and rice is hard and cold af

AYCE premium needs to be for everyone at the table and you can just have 1 or some get it and some do regular menu because they use the same tablet. tablet is a bit janky tbh its not user friendly. pros: sashimi pieces were good texture food comes out fast some of the rolls are good(salmon crunch) ramen was good flavor belly pieces were good but really tiny cons: small premium pieces, 1 piece of tiny sushi per person uni really stank, we didnt eat it because it smelled rancid so we had to send it back sweet shrimp is not real ema ebi and no fried head rice is cold and hard some apetizers were undercooked and raw siu mai sucks, weird flavor overall i wouldnt come back. the bill for 2 was 100$ and i felt it wasnt worth it since the premium pieces were not great, too small, rice cold and hard plus the uni(sea urchin) was not edible whatsoever. we were here Friday afternoon and the uni bas already gone bad. was told the entire batch is the same so either no one is ordering it or they just arent getting fresh shipments. place was empty around 2pm. the undercooked apetizers also left a bad taste in my mouth. if you just eat rolls then i think the regular 35$ for ayce is okay but if you want actual premium sushi, dont come here and spend the 46$. not worth it.

Great price around the area with quality food. I got the $34.99 ayce dinner/weekend deal for my sister and I, there's also a premium $39.99 sashimi ayce price. Came like 10-15 minutes before they opened at 11:30am incase the wait got bad and we were first but the line grew quick closer to opening time. I would recommend going right when they open and placing your order on the table tablets ASAP because after like 30-40 minutes of the restaurant opening, their kitchen was backed up and it took a lot longer to get our food. I love that there's a special section for no-rice options for people trying to cut carbs. There's plenty options to choose from! Overall would come back when it opens or a weird off time. Parking is ample in a quiet shopping center.

Haven't been here in a while, but because it was nearby and my friend and I were really craving sushi we went here. We came at the end of the night and were one of the last parties to be seated. The hostess was very sweet communicating with us to let us know about the wait times. The servers checked in on us regularly and were also very nice as well. Although the service was good, $50 for ayce (including the additional charge for sashimi) is honestly so expensive. Esp given the quality of the fish we were served. The cuts were uneven and some still cold with an icy texture, which ig makes sense since it was the end of the night. The carpaccios cuts were also thick and I wish there was more sauce that came with them. I remember a few years back I used to love their carpaccios but now they are so underwhelming. The cut rolls were just okay, and a lot of appetizers weren't available anymore bc it was the end of the night which is understandable. I wish aburi had continued to live up to my prior expectations :( I feel like it's not as great as it used to be.

The restaurant is very nice decorated and the staff are friendly and fast with orders. If you do AYCE sushi, highly recommended you order all dishes right away and refill or order more within 10-15 minutes. We were there on Friday night and some plates took 20-30 minutes. Our favorites were fresh sashimi, bake mussels, brussel sprouts , soft shel crabs, and squid legs. They were all fresh and flavorful. It's nice that the restaurant is in the shopping center. We always shop around after we eat to burn these buffet calories :)

Pretttty legit ayce sushi. Really liked the quality, options, and price range. We had a huge party, so ordering did get a little complicated and confusing. Having only one ipad passed around, really hard to tell who got what. Would recommend maybe two or three pads to help with the organization of food at which table. Parking lot was huge but there were a lot of people so parking might be a little tough.

I usually love going to all-you-can-eat sushi with my group of friends--we're all big sushi lovers and always excited to try new spots. Unfortunately, our experience at Aburi Sushi was by far the worst AYCE sushi experience any of the six of us have ever had. We came in very hungry, but quickly lost our appetite. The salmon tasted extremely fishy and had a strong odor similar to spoiled food. The yellowtail was incredibly chewy--almost like chewing gum. Overall, the texture of nearly every piece of sushi was slimy, fishy, and very difficult to eat. As a group, we were genuinely afraid to keep eating because we were worried about getting sick or food poisoning. Despite barely being able to eat, we still had to pay full price and left the restaurant hungry, which made the experience feel like a complete waste of money. To make matters worse, we had placed orders for about 20 pieces of sushi that never came out. When we checked with the server, we were told there were no pending orders. We then placed additional orders--but shortly afterward, all the sushi came out at once. We were left with an overwhelming amount of food that tasted very bad. We tried switching to non-sushi items just to fill our stomachs. Unfortunately, the ramen broth tasted old, and the smell of the pork chashu was so strong it was inedible. The takoyaki was dry and also tasted old. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. I would not return, as I would be scared of getting sick. The restaurant seriously needs better quality control and order management--or it may need to reconsider operating at all.

To go. Very satisfied with the food quality, pricing & ease of online ordering.

Happy with the to go experience. Ease of ordering online, good pricing and good selection.

I wanted to give 3 stars, but the service was really great. Nothing was terrible per se, but every piece of fish was overly cold temperature wise. Almost as if it was not thoroughly thawed before serving. I have no issue with frozen fish, all "sushi grade" fish in the U.S. is frozen at some point, but serving it this way took away from the texture. Furthermore, this also made other aspects of the roll or nigiri colder than usual. Hopefully it was just the case for today because we will give it another try due to the service alone. Maybe I'm crazy, but I've legit never had a sushi experience like this before.

$35 regular, $46 premium AYCE ages 11+ $20 AYCE 3-10 y/o The kids haven't been here since pre-Covid & the server asked their ages to price them. I wasn't even going to try to fudge the numbers because my 11 y/o came to eat! (Age 10 is the cut off for kids' pricing) - Mussels were baked, saucy and delicious - Salmon & salmon belly were our faves - Fresh eel was broiled and perfect - Tropical mango roll was a nice break for the taste buds - Kids loved suimai dumplings but I didn't like the squishiness of the filler & small shrimp. They still ate 2 orders. - KBBQ beef was a bit salty but nicely cooked All in all amazing variety and option. Our family of 4 put away almost 100 pieces(!) Server was great with the refills and they didn't rush us or have a time check...we were after the dinner rush though. I got to enjoy the mellow ambiance as I zoned out in my food coma. I did not make my moneys worth; lol.

I found this restaurant on Instagram, go figure. But with all the positive reviews, my fiancé and I decided to stop by. Everything was delicious. I was really surprised with the menu options, as it was only $30 for lunch. Which is really crazy. They had a fair share amount of appetizers, and even premium dishes under the price. And it was pretty packed. Clean atmosphere. I think probably the only dish I didn't like was the spicy tuna crispy rice. I've never had a rice that was so crispy that it would hurt my teeth! Lol I think this is one of those dishes that you should definitely make fresh to order. As it is definitely a popular dish. And the rice needs to be hot? As far as the quality of the sushi, you definitely get what you pay for. But for here, it's actually really decent. Don't get scared and miss out on an opportunity. Unfortunately, I didn't get to try the Ramen because I was full. But it did look good. I was actually really impressed with the staff as well. They are constantly on the move, and very attentive. Also we came here at 1:30 ish?? And we checked out at 3:30. But we stop ordering at three, not on purpose. But we were charged dinner price (dinner is after 3). I think it's very unfair because I think you should be charged for the time that you come in? Is that not normal?. But other than that will definitely be coming back, but be more aware of the time this time.

AYCE options Service is great Plenty of parking its located in a big plaza I came for their AYCE and i love how they give about 4 pieces for their rolls so you can try as many as you wish. I ordered a wide variety of fresh rolls such as the Angry tail roll to their no rice rolls like albacore rollin and salmon poke nachos which comes on a fried wonton i believe which is unique and good! And i usually dont like baked rolls or anything with mayo but i did order the tempura roll called black widow roll which i highly recommend. They also have carpaccio i ordered their truffle garlic albacore carpaccio that was amazing! I like this place because they hand you a tablet to order from which i think is very convenient instead of the usual paper and pencil with their tablet its more accurate! I also have to compliment their ambiance and decor it was modern and fabulous to look at. I highly recommend

I had an amazing experience at Aburi Sushi! The food was absolutely delicious and very fairly priced--exactly what I was hoping for when I need to get my money's worth, and it did not disappoint. Parking was extremely easy, which was a huge plus. The staff was super chill and friendly, and they walked us through how to order from the iPad with no stress at all. As soon as we placed our order, the food came out literally right away. Everything we tried was fresh and tasty, and the menu has almost no limits--there's so much to choose from. The environment was enjoyable too. It's not upscale, but it has a relaxed, welcoming vibe that definitely caters to everyone. Overall, I'm really happy I found Aburi Sushi. I'll definitely be back!

I've been going to Aburi since 2019 and their menu has improved so much throughout the years! It's one of my favorite AYCE sushi spots because of how affordable it is while also being high quality. Their fish to rice ratio is perfect and I love that they have so many options for sushi, rolls, and even appetizers/hot food. The service has been consistently good even when it's crowded. Sometimes I'll wonder when a food item is coming and as I'm wondering, the server will bring it out. It's a pretty wide and spacious restaurant with many tables and offers outside seating on a cute patio. I love that they have a lot of premium items to order despite the lower price tag compared to a lot of AYCE sushi spots! Some of my favorite nigiri items are the salmon and yellowtail belly, halibut, sweet shrimp, and jumbo scallop. I also enjoy the soft shell crab and chicken and leek yakitori from the premium items. Overall, Aburi is a solid sushi spot that I would highly recommend to anyone who likes a lot of variety when they go to AYCE places. The menu has endless options and they are all so delicious!

Ask the Community - Aburi Sushi

Can I sign up for the 100 piece sushi challenge?

From what I gathered when we inquired about it. There is a waiting list. A long one in fact

Does the restaurant allow single diners?

    They do.

Do they have seared peppered salmon?

Yes, our seared salmon has lemon pepper seasoning.

Would you say this place is better than X-Fish Izakaya (Buena Park) Which one is more worth?

As someone who has been to both, i have to say Aburi is SO MUCH better!!! No competition. Right now for the month of december it's 30$ for AYCE. Can't beat that! Also X fish has awful service sadly and if your server is laggy at X fish, you won't be… Read more

    Do they accept cash?

    Yes

How's the quality AYCE Sashimi here compare to the HB AYCE Sushi? Is this restaurant good for group or 12 to 14 people?

It's about the same quality. Service is probably faster here. You will do great w a group that big. Tbh I haven't been back to HB ayce since coming here. I do miss the birthday music tho

Do they take reservations if I call ahead?

No we do not, it is first come first serve!

Plan to go with friends and I would like to have $9.99 option for AYCE Sashimi and Carpaccio. Is it requried everyone to add the $9.99 option?

Yes, everyone that is seated with you has too

Hi Can I ask that if I eat ayce when I order any round how many pieces sushi and sashimi can I order ?…

If you get the extra 9.99 option for AYCE Sashimi and Carpaccio, you can order unlimited amount of any sushi, carpaccio and sashimi. Just make sure to finish everything as we charge for leftovers!

Is every person that sits down at a table charged for all you can eat? My bf is joining me but he doesn't like fish and isn't going to eat but I want to enjoy the all you can eat but I don't want both of us to be charged. Does anyone know the policy?

Every one that sits does not have to get ayce, I just went a couple months ago.

How do you do the 100-piece challenge? The booking link on Instagram claims there's no openings at all.

We are unfortunately booked out for the entire year! We will open 2025 openings later on in the year. Thank you!

How many people can participate in the 100 piece challenge?

    1 or 2

Can i just walk in and do the 100 piece challenge or do i have to do the booking on their instagram link?

Booking the 100 piece challenge is initiated through the restaurant. There is a few weeks wait because of the challenge popularity...

Is AYCE available when you open at 11am or until 2pm?

I believe it's available all day! Enjoy!

How much is the 100 piece challenge with a friend of you fail?

    100

Hello! Are prices different for kids?

I'll be honest with you, I went with my 10 month old baby so my bill was only for 2 adults which was $39.99

Can one order AYCE sashimi independent of AYCE sushi? Can you order AYCE sashimi only with a couple rolls, for example? at the $9.99 price per person, or is it more?

In order to do AYCE Sashimi, you have to have the 39.99 AYCE and do the 10 dollar add on for a total of 49.99 for the AYCE sushi with the AYCE sashimi add on

Does anyone know the restaurant's number? I had a question on whether or not, when dining with two or more people, is there an option to have AYCE and a la carte ordering together for the same table/party?

Hello, our number is 714-828-1260. Yes, you guys can do a-la-carte and ayce at the same table. If the table chooses AYCE, everyone must choose the same option of AYCE (Everyone must get Regular AYCE or everyone must get AYCE Sashimi). Thank you!

This place is marked as having outdoor seating. Is the patio still available for seating?

Hi, we have our patio open on fri-sun! patios are closed on weekdays due to limited number of staff. Thank you!

What is current weekday lunch price? Many of same questions are asked in 2021.

    $32.99 until 4pm

Their menu specializes in Korean style premium seafood items. They have the option of live or not. They had different set options and items you can get a la carte. We went with their live fish and sashimi set C. We also got some live shrimp and live octopus to try. I love that the staff was super knowledgeable and explained everything to us. The live set included a lot of side dishes. It also included halibut and flounder, a platter of abalone, sea cucumber, cold soup, hot fish soup, calamari and vegetable tempura. All of which were amazing and tasted very fresh. The live octopus was definitely an experience. They tasted fresh and sweet and were very actively moving. If you want to try it I would definitely recommend trying it here. The chef was nice enough to have us try two types of nigiri. Both were amazing and fatty. The whole dinner was quite an experience. Since there were so many dishes they made sure to go in order but not rush us since many items were coming out. The staff was super attentive. The first time, I was the only customer waiting. I asked why I would fill out a list when (1) I'd been to this restaurant dozens of times and was never asked to do so; (2) no one was waiting; and (3) the place was nearly empty. The waiter was confrontational and insisted I must fill out the list. He said if I wouldn't, I could leave, so I left. I felt bad for the owners and decided not to leave a negative review, thinking it was a one-off error. After intervening good experiences with other waitstaff, I returned today. Unfortunately, I encountered the same rude waiter. There were lots of empty tables but rather than seat me, he approached and told me to sign in. I pointed out the absurdity, and again he said I could leave! I felt bad the business would lose customers due to one obnoxious waiter, so I asked to speak with the manager. When the waiter said the manager wasn't available, I found her myself. To my surprise, the manager seemed nonplussed -- as though she dealt with the waiter before and felt defeated. It didn't end there. While I discussed this with the manager, the waiter hovered around, attempting to intervene and argue. When he was asked to go away, he stood in different parts of the restaurant to give us "hard looks." It was ridiculous and there is zero chance I will return. No one needs this kind of bullying and negativity with lunch.

We ordered: Jalapeno Poppers -- wasnt spicy at all but it was really packed with spicy tuna, cream cheese, etc. Baked Jen Jen -- this was part of their low carb roll. It was spicy crab and avocado wrapped in baked salmon. It was pretty good. It was just too much crab for my liking. Dynamite Roll -- it had a decent amount on it All that we ordered were flavorful. Something to remember though is to make sure to ask for Wasabi and/or Ginger. They do not automatically serve them when you order rolls because some people just waste them. Makes sense! It is free so ask if you want any. The service was great. I will be back if I am in the area. The price was also comparable to other sushi joint.

They were not too busy--the food was great but maybe a bit pricy and wouldn't come on a college budget. We ordered a variety of food to try and loved them! We ordered: 1. fresh Oysters (6) - prepared with some sauce, green onions, and tobiko -- 7.5/10 flavor with the freshness! 2. lobster sensation -- we appreciate having a baked roll as a comfort taste amidst 3. Scallop dynamite 4. Ki house roll 5. Super hamachi 6. Mentaiko pasta -- very much enjoyed! 7. Baja rainbow The interior is nice, feels clean and has attention to little details that leave the place feeling comfortable and not overly decorated. Staff was kind and efficient! Parking in the lot can be hectic during weekends or dinner hours but circle around a bit and you can probably catch a space-- it's free up to 2 hours.

After getting a drink in about 3 minutes, I sat there for 15 minutes without ordering. Based on my time for lunch today, I wasn't going to make it. So I put down 6$ to pay for the drink and left. The place looks nice inside. Customers seemed like they were enjoying themselves. The menu looked good, if not pricey. I'm sure it'd be a great place if time was not an issue. It was today, so it didn't work for me.

If you're wanting a Korean-style sushi experience, this is the place…read more What is Korean-style sushi? It's a coursed meal centered around sashimi platters (very unusual to see nigiri at these restaurants), and dishes made with rest of the fish that became sushi. It's sashimi with a lot of extra accoutrements you'd expect in a Korean restaurant. We started with porridge and miso soup, and lots of banchan, including cheesecorn and steamed egg. Then came the sashimi platter. In Korean sushi houses, you get to have soy sauce AND a gochujang based sauce (it's gochujan and vinegar). They also gave us sesame oil + salt and dried seaweed which I think is for the tuna. Then there was tokoyaki, fried rice cakes, tempura, spicy fish stew, grilled fish, fried salmon skin, fried chicken, and spicy marinated crab. All while getting refills on the banchan. It was exactly what I was wanting, as I have not found anything like it in Seattle! The staff was super friendly, and they had a lot of other items on the menu that I would love to try at some point in the future! Highly recommend!

The toro special was buttery and so good especially wrapped in seaweed and dipped in the salt/sesame oil. We had the steamed egg again and it was fluffy and nice. The sashimi bowl was the best we've had. Definitely
