First timer! The rolls were perfectly crafted. I asked for light sauce. They have a BOGO 50% on second one. POV: this is a resy restaurant so we got the $100 off credited back. Service is excellent. I had no idea they take reservations also. The space is cute. Small strip mall, ample parking. I'd come back. Rice to fish ratio is good.

Came back again today, and the food is still just as delicious as ever. The service was friendly and attentive throughout the visit, which made the experience even better. The Godzilla Roll stood out with its bold flavors. The combination of sauce, crispy fried onions, and jalapeño gave it a nice spicy kick with great depth of flavor. We also ordered the fried calamari as an appetizer, and it was excellent. Perfectly crispy on the outside while staying tender and moist on the inside. The uni sushi and house-cooked shrimp were both fresh and flavorful, highlighting the quality of the ingredients. Another consistently satisfying visit.

Came here in December 2025 and ordered some sushi for myself! 1) spider roll 2) Hawaiian volcano roll 3) zen sashimi roll 4) butterfly roll Everything was delicious and nice portion size. All for $57 so was reasonable especially if part of it was taken care of by my credit card benefit. I'll be back again!

Went in for the lunch special! Prices vary depending on roll but I got 4 rolls for $62. The special is buy 1 get 1 50% off. Took the other two to go! The rolls are amazing! My favorite is the honey walnut shrimp. They taste very fresh and so delicious. The staff are very friendly and attentive. You get your food fairly quickly. It's a quiet, small place. No outside dinning.

There's a reason why this is listed in Resy! I came here with my coworkers during lunch time and noticed it was on Resy. Immediately, I used my Amex card to pay for it. The food was great, service was great, and the environment is relaxing. You also have that robot that helps with picking up trays which is a fun little thing that guests like. Definitely adds to there personality. Overall a 10/10

This place is highly recommended if you're around the area. If you LOVE SUSHI this is the place for you. They have BOGO specialty sushi. They also have YuBu here as well. It's a fast service and very friendly as well. This place interior design is amazing. Check it out and you won't regret it. Now check out what my party ordered.

I've been to other Crazy Rock but this is the first time in this location and I think it's one of the best. The sushi staircase is very nice and perfect for celebration. Most sashimi is tender enough compare to high end sushi. Even some random roll plates are very good in my opinion. We ordered some signature menu that have big photo in the menu. Server was very nice. The decor is also very cozy Japanese.

The chefs always greet you when you walk in. I really like the interior here. The lighting is dim and It feels cozy. Sushi is always good. Service is a hit or miss sometimes. During this dinner time it was busy and the servers were all great and attentive . There was no designated server for our table as they all came check up on us that night. I really like the sushi quality here and the rice quality. Food comes out really fast except for the bento box which may take more time probably due to cooking the protein options. We got the 3 item bento box and chose chicken teriyaki, chicken katsu, and an avocado roll. Everything came out fresh and hot. Mango Mexican roll had salmon and mango, very refreshing. The spicy scallop hand roll was very spicy imo but the scallops were so plumped and delicious. Always a good time here and no complaints.

Food: 1/5 Service: n/a, to go Simply put, the rolls here are rice with a side of fish. I ordered to-go so will only be speaking on that experience. I'm extremely disappointed with the rolls I ordered - Salmon Avocado Roll & Yellowtail roll. The ratio of rice to fish is a disrespectful amount. The total amount of yellowtail in my roll equaled 1 nigiri's worth. Looked completely different from their advertised photo, which actually led me to try this place. Please don't use false advertising. The freshness of the yellowtail was also lacking. The avocado in my Salmon Avocado roll was browning so it was definitely sitting for a while before served to me. Yikes. Will not be returning and do not recommend.

OMG, sushi squad--run, don't walk, to Crazy Rock'n Sushi! Just demolished a feast that had me hooked from bite one: that baked crawfish roll? Crispy heaven with a spicy kick that'll make your tastebuds dance! And the Osaka okonomiyaki? Super crunchy, flavor bomb explosion--savory, sweet, and straight-up addictive. The inari crew (yellowtail, spicy tuna, salmon) were like fluffy little umami hugs, and the rainbow roll brought the party with its fresh, colorful vibes. Pro move: Hit up the BOGO roll deal and snag that black tea boba for 50% off--chewy pearls + bold brew = sippy perfection! Justine H slayed the service game too. Total steal, total thrill

Food was good. I had the Jeffery roll, Takoyaki, shrimp suhmai, calamari, salmon ( lime and pepper), seared albacore and yellowtail sushi. The roll was fresh and flavorful. I really enjoyed the salmon and yellowtail sushi. The seared albacore was okay. As for drinks, I recommend one of the mixed cocktails. They change them up but I had no complaints on the selection. If not they also have Japanese beer and wine. Service was good, waiters were attentive and checked in on us.

I have been coming here for years with my family and the service and food is always good. They have a great buy 1, get 1 50% off deal for their sushi rolls and the bento boxes are also at a good price. Don't expect omakase or Nobu grade fish and you won't be disappointed. It's worth a visit if you want affordable sushi in the Cypress/Stanton area.

Server Kevin explained it has a bit more fatty content and flavor. He was right. Kevin also answered my question, "How do I use the secondary bowl in the to-go packages." I had always removed it and simply dumped all leftovers into the large bowl. Kevin explained that the toppings go in the upper bowl and the broth goes in the bottom. This keeps the toppings from becoming soggy. I learned something new today! I've eaten here for years. The new owners seem to have found their game after a bit of a rocky start. I highly recommend Gomen for not only the outstanding food, but also for the great service like I received from Kevin.

There was only one server and what it appeared to be one person in the kitchen. I ordered: - Combo A (Chicken Teriyaki with a choice of Gyoza or Cali Roll): I replaced the rice with extra salad. The salad came with a neon pink dressing that was a bit sweet. The salad wasn't properly dried, unfortunately, as there was a pool of water at the bottom. Though some pieces of the chicken was a bit dry, the bed of cabbage underneath soaked up some of the juices and glaze, compensating for the lack of moisture. The Cali Roll was packed and a solid side to the meal. - Rainbow Roll: Though it had large cuts of fish, it unfortunately was not the freshest I've tasted, and also not very tightly rolled. - Crunch Philadelphia Roll: Though not as tightly rolled (it fell apart slightly when I tried picking up a piece), I appreciate that they didn't skimp on the cream cheese. My favorite sushi so far from the 3. The food was prepared quickly, and everything totaled about $42-45, which I thought was reasonable. They have a few minor things to improve upon, but I can see this being a place college students can get food to-go between classes or even shopping patrons dining at for a decent meal.

I know that many other fellow Yelp members complain that this location is rather small but honestly, if they want to see a small Mitsuwa Market, they should visit the one in San Gabriel. That one is very small and has no food court. Anyways, my husband and I decided to visit this Mitsuwa Marketplace two Saturdays ago since we were out in Orange County. We wanted to pick up some groceries before heading back home to the San Gabriel Valley since this was kind of on the way home. In general, Mitsuwa typically seems to be more expensive than Tokyo Central (the Japanese market I frequent most often back home), often times $1-4 more for items. But that doesn't really bother me, as Mitsuwa sometimes will have different or more selection than Tokyo Central for certain items as well. I like to shop at both markets equally. We ended up purchasing a few items. After we finished paying for those groceries, we walked over to the food court to see what eateries and vendors are available. We ended up getting some onigiri at Omusubi Gonbei and decided to enjoy our rice balls here since there is such a large space of seating. But the fried oyster itself was good. ---------------------------------- (Total= $10.67 after tax) Wait time for our items was pretty much non existent, since the girl helping us boxed up our items before I even had the chance to finish paying (I always struggle to pay via tap on the first try... I always seem to have the credit card somewhere else, instead of wherever the sensor is to pay for it...D'oh). This was a great snack for us since we had lunch 3 hours before (I had a light lunch of a tofu salad so the 1.5 onigiri that I had was perfect for me). I like that the onigiri was fresh and the filling. But there is a significant amount of rice and very little of the filling. But I still liked it regardless and would definitely come back to try the other flavors in the future.

I definitely enjoyed the omusubi I have had from here if I compare it to the refrigerated ones…read moreavailable inside the Mitsuwa itself. But I must agree with other reviewers on certain aspects. The nori is very soft and chewy. It's not separated from the warm gohan itself. So if you're accustomed to onigiri with crisp nori, you will be disappointed. Depending on which kind of omusubi you're getting, I also agree that it may definitely feel like there's a lot more rice than the filling. I usually get the mentaiko, ebiten, and oyster musubis. I feel as though those are actually consistently good. The saltiness of the fillings really offsets the amount of rice included and makes it work. My other favorite flavors are takana and shiso. The two goes perfectly well with the karaage they sell separately. Another thing is that the rice itself is actually seasoned and not plain, which helps. Chashu and other fillings like eel has been a miss at this location. Same with their tuna and salmon offerings. I must admit I'm especially not a huge fan of their tuna offerings. It uses too much katsuobushi flavor in my opinion. I like mine more mayo forward. The service here can be a hit or a miss. It really depends on who is working there and what time/day of the week it is. Same goes with the availability of seatings. Parking is free but can be a hassle to find a close spot because of the proximity to the gym, superchargers, and other businesses.
