For starters, we got their Chile-Lime Cauliflower, and it is so good! The chile-lime vinaigrette is really what makes it! I have never enjoyed cauliflower so much! I only wish they would cut the cauliflower into slightly smaller pieces so it's a little easier to eat. But other than that, highly recommend this dish! I wanted something warm and comforting, so I got their Ribeye Pho. It comes in a pretty big bowl with tenderized sliced ribeye steak, noodles, and all of the pho fixings. Got the news a few hours ago and still feel numb. Had to drive up there to make sure the rumors were true, i owed it that much, and my heart sank when i saw the paper on the windows. The lights weren't on and no one was home. I've lost count of the amount of times i've nursed myself back to health on a Sunday after a night of heavy bag ripping with a chicken pad Thai, ribeye pho and intermittent wanking. Plus side all the orders are made to order .. that was maybe about it ..? There is one cook and one host and then a second one appeared while waiting for the order. There was another 2 patrons waiting for their order then a family appears after me and another lady picked up an order. Order is placed around 5:15pm and my rib eye pho with the meat sat in the broth for 25 minutes while waiting for the other order. The cucumber limeade came out immediately while waiting for the order. All the pho toppings were placed in the bowl and it appear there was just as much topping than noodles. There was maybe 6 pieces of ribeye and since it was sitting in hot broth for a very excessive time, the taste of the rib eye was tough and chewy. There was no flavor to the broth - noodles didn't pick up any of the flavor. Consumed the bowl made at home in about 7 minutes. My neighbor pad Thai was not so great. The shrimp tasted like cardboard and though freshly made the noodles somehow got cold pretty instant. The cucumber limeade was however tasty. The interior was spacious and the service was very friendly! The cashier was helpful with menu suggestions as it was our first time there. My brother chose the gochujang baby back ribs and I chose the filet mignon plate. They were both very greasy and the meats were overcooked and tough. The food had the quality of cheap Chinese take-out, which works in a pinch if you're just hungry and wanting somewhere to go late at night, but it's definitely not as cheap as Chinese take-out (each dish was almost $20 with an add-on or two). You can pick a base from a list of rice, noodles, or salad. Then choose a protein of either shrimp, chicken, baby back ribs, or filet mignon. I got a house salad with filet mignon. The salad was very good with dressing already mixed in. It had a vinaigrette taste. The filet mignon had sweet garlic taste to it and came with a yummy green sauce. I also ordered their Chile-Lime Cauliflower on the side. The cauliflower was okay and the portion was pretty big to share. My GF was pretty happy with her garlic noodles and filet mignon. Pricing is affordable. For my plate with cauliflower I paid a little over $25. It was a good portion and I was pretty full. The guy at the counter was pretty nice.
