I had gone to Mitsuwa at 5:30pm and all the cold case items had been picked bare. The food court was insanely packed so we decided to get PokiDoki for dinner. I got the 4 scoops for $17.99 to share. There is standard topping & options on the fish. Portions are smaller than Uroko down the street but they have sushi rice which is a better quality. The custom lemonade with strawberry lemonade, pineapple, and fresh picked basil is delicious. Highly recommend the Pokinade! There are signs everywhere the parking touching the shops & other restaurants are not for Mitsuwa. I hope they are not hurting while it's still a hot & new. read more

Pretty solid spot for a quick and easy build-your-own poke bowl! Came in on a weekend for an early dinner, and there was no one in line. Choose from a small (2 scoops of fish), medium (3 scoops of fish), or large (4 scoops of fish) bowl. Their bases include white rice, brown rice, salad, or chips. You can do half and half as well. I usually go for salmon and tuna, and I thought the fish quality was decent! You can choose from a variety of toppings, and they'll mix if all together in a sauce of your choice. Their "original" is mild, and though they don't list exactly what's in it, it was pretty good! They also have a variety of musubis, including spam, spam and egg, spicy tuna, crab, and mayo tuna. I tried the spam and egg musubi, and it's served with a side of sauce, seemed like a spicy mayo. I want to point out that the gentleman who served me was so kind and patient with me. It was mt first time there and he explained the menu and process to me. When I asked for a little bit of extra sauce or anything he made sure ask if it was enough or if I wanted more. Most Poki places make me feel rushed but the customer service was great! He even made small talk and hoped I liked the food so I can come back. Now the food! It was good! The spicy tuna had a nice flavor and the spicy mayo wasn't overwhelming. My daughter and I come here every so often because we do like the food. I had recently found two of their stamp cards that I both had either a free bowl earned or was one away. The lady said no we won't honor it because it has been too long. I am sorry but there is no expiration date on those stamp cards. Also when we got to the register it stated they would transfer paper stamps to their new digital system. I asked the lady one more time if they could be transferred and she said no too old. With two full stamp cards I gave them a lot of service and due to her disregard and not very warm service it truly turned me off from supporting this business and coming again. read more

I've been looking for great Asian eats in the Cypress area. This place is a hidden gem, especially for spam masubis. They have over 5 options, all yummy and served in 3 generously sized pieces(with dipping sauce) They have variety (ramen, poke, masubis and miso soup) They are affordable and friendly!! My last plus about this place is the relaxing jazz music, amping up the ambience for the whole experience. Eh. We wanted some poke and our usual spot was closed for pickup/delivery so we tried this spot. First off, the spam musubi was NOT good. Very thin slice of spam and too much rice. For $5 you should skip it. Second, they either didn't put any sauce or very little sauce on my wife's bowl. They give you pretty small scoops of fish. The lack of protein to rice/toppings show this is not a good deal. The albacore was so so. The salmon didn't taste fresh either. It wasn't all bad. The toppings were good/ all the usual suspects. The rice was okay not great. The salad tasted good. The spicy tuna was the best part. All in all pretty mediocre and in a City filled with poke places, no need to seek this place out. read more

Stopped into PokiDoki on a whim, was interested in some Poki and I have seen the restaurant as I have come and gone from Costco. Overall it was just okay. The prices are not terrible, I have seen more expensive but keep in mind that the scoops are very small. The fish was good overall and the toppings are pretty much standard everywhere. What drove the score down a bit was like what some other reviewers have said. The rice was hard in some places and did not seem fresh at all. Happy to find a local Poke place close to home! Came in on a Thursday after 12PM, little bit of a line, I'm guessing it was lunch rush hour. Two employees were managing the food line and they did so well. They were very friendly, patient, efficient, and worked fast to help get the line moving.
