    Teriyaki Salmon w/California Rolls
    Allison W.

I always forget that there are restaurants on the side of the shopping center, but today I felt like driving around saw Teri-Go, so I chose it. I liked it. When I went in, no customers were in yet, so it was quiet and peaceful. The gentleman was really nice greeting me as I came in and the lady was also really nice. A couple more people rolled in after me, I think more will be in now that it's lunchtime. I got the salmon with California rolls. It's really tasty. The salmon was cooked well, a little crispy and moist, it fell apart with my fork, I love my salmon like that. The salad was tasty, not too strong on the dressing and tasted fresh which was a nice balance with the sriracha I had on the side. The California rolls were simple and classic and delicious. It was a good lunch, I'm full!

So I've read many of these reviews so I'll be completely honest service was actually good they made me feel welcomed amd welcomed to return ....was fresh and quick but considering options for teriyaki bowls their under par with waba and flame..... place was clean and will try the salmon bowl next .... only down side was veggies as picture shows only 2 carrots 2 broccoli and chewy part of the cabbage.... and wasn't very steamed ...

Last minute lunch by myself and I enjoyed being able to sit down and eat. Very clean tables, friendly and the food is great. I had the Chicken Teriyaki bowl over white rice w/Broccoli, carrots and cabbage. Just the right amount of nice sweet teriyaki sauce. I also had the side eggrolls 3 in an order. Small enough to compliment the bowl and big enough to satisfy. Worth another visit again.

I really want to enjoy this place but I am just not used to their style of teriyaki marinate or sauce. This place is great for foodies who don't enjoy teriyaki on the sweet side. The portions are pretty generous and chicken is cooked well. It just didn't hit the spot for me. As for the beef teriyaki, I thought the beef was on the dry side. It tasted more like moist beef jerky. From the reviews, this place seems like a local favorite and I am like 2 cities down in Buena Park. The service and price point is great, just not right flavors for my tastebuds.

Korean owned family restaurant :) the lady at the cashier was so kind and seems very appreciative of your business. Prices are honestly so fair compared to what you pay at all of other places these days. I stumbled upon this place accidentally when I was starving and needed a quick meal. What a great find! The chicken is not dry at all, and beef is flavorful. Normally I never eat the side salads that other places give but I ate all of mine and stole some from my dads plate as well. It's so refreshing, the lettuce is not wilted, and the sauce is light and flavorful (addicting). I don't even like California rolls but i always order a side of it, something about it from here ... yummy. This place is sort of tucked in and hidden around the side of a plaza so many may not even see it but give it a chance :D

This place is a hidden gem in Cypress. Everything is so fresh and delicious. We had tonight spicy tuna rolls, teriyaki chicken plate, and beef ramen. It's very clean inside and ran by a very nice couple. Always so friendly and welcoming.

Teriyaki Salmon Plate w/ salad, macaroni salad, and rice. Also, 8 piece California Roll.

My son and I love the Teriyaki Salmon plate and California Roll. This is one if his favorite places for lunch. The portion sizes are fair for the price. The parking is very convenient, the workers are very friendly, and you never have to wait long to place your order or receive it.

There was only one server and what it appeared to be one person in the kitchen. I ordered: - Combo A (Chicken Teriyaki with a choice of Gyoza or Cali Roll): I replaced the rice with extra salad. The salad came with a neon pink dressing that was a bit sweet. The salad wasn't properly dried, unfortunately, as there was a pool of water at the bottom. Though some pieces of the chicken was a bit dry, the bed of cabbage underneath soaked up some of the juices and glaze, compensating for the lack of moisture. The Cali Roll was packed and a solid side to the meal. - Rainbow Roll: Though it had large cuts of fish, it unfortunately was not the freshest I've tasted, and also not very tightly rolled. - Crunch Philadelphia Roll: Though not as tightly rolled (it fell apart slightly when I tried picking up a piece), I appreciate that they didn't skimp on the cream cheese. My favorite sushi so far from the 3. The food was prepared quickly, and everything totaled about $42-45, which I thought was reasonable. They have a few minor things to improve upon, but I can see this being a place college students can get food to-go between classes or even shopping patrons dining at for a decent meal.

So many menus....appetizers, entrée, sushi, specialty rolls, sake list, and a lot more.... We had our fave menu all the time, got the same ones, 2 dragon rolls and 1 super Philly roll w hot Sake. We both said so good. The rice was perfect. Eel sauce was flavorful, thick, chunky, well balanced w fresh salmon and cream cheese. They gave us complementary corn soup in the beginning. Delicious! I got used to start miso soup first but typically corn soup is popular in Korea to give good appetite. The service was super fast, friendly. Price and quality both are great. I didn't know they had happy hour all day. We got 50% off for the 2nd roll. I didn't see any Japanese, korean staff including manager here. Seemed like korean ownership but no one was korean. Haha... We found a great sushi place again near our home. Definitely come again... My wife said, I wanted to try ice cream macarons but I was full. We will try other foods like Udon combo w tempura, Donburi, some macarons, and etc next time. Great vibes, great taste for sushi lovers. Loved happy hour.

They should put a disclaimer that you may only get 2 pieces instead of 3 as listed on the menu. When I asked the staff about it, the chef said it's because the pieces given are the same as 3 which was a bit weird since the pieces didn't look that big compared to the photos on Yelp. This dish also comes with a salad. Chicken katsu curry- I ordered it medium, but honestly the curry is on the sweeter side with no heat at all. You also get raisins which makes the curry even sweeter. For $26, it's not a good price point for this type of dish. You can get this dish for much cheaper at other establishments. I would pass on this dish. Staff was nice and interior is clean and a bit cramped. My meal was over $100 for the 3 items which I normally wouldn't mind if the quality offsets portions given. Be prepared to spend lots if you want to get full! Also, keep in mind they charge an NCA fee if you don't pay cash. This place is a solid 3.5 for me.

I know that many other fellow Yelp members complain that this location is rather small but honestly, if they want to see a small Mitsuwa Market, they should visit the one in San Gabriel. That one is very small and has no food court. Anyways, my husband and I decided to visit this Mitsuwa Marketplace two Saturdays ago since we were out in Orange County. We wanted to pick up some groceries before heading back home to the San Gabriel Valley since this was kind of on the way home. In general, Mitsuwa typically seems to be more expensive than Tokyo Central (the Japanese market I frequent most often back home), often times $1-4 more for items. But that doesn't really bother me, as Mitsuwa sometimes will have different or more selection than Tokyo Central for certain items as well. I like to shop at both markets equally. We ended up purchasing a few items. After we finished paying for those groceries, we walked over to the food court to see what eateries and vendors are available. We ended up getting some onigiri at Omusubi Gonbei and decided to enjoy our rice balls here since there is such a large space of seating. Grilled Eel, $3.60 prior to tax- My husband and I split this one. I really liked the eel and also the sauce that was used on top of the eel. My husband also really liked this one. But I must agree with other reviewers on certain aspects. The nori is very soft and chewy. It's not separated from the warm gohan itself. So if you're accustomed to onigiri with crisp nori, you will be disappointed. Depending on which kind of omusubi you're getting, I also agree that it may definitely feel like there's a lot more rice than the filling. I usually get the mentaiko, ebiten, and oyster musubis. I feel as though those are actually consistently good. The saltiness of the fillings really offsets the amount of rice included and makes it work. My other favorite flavors are takana and shiso. The two goes perfectly well with the karaage they sell separately. Another thing is that the rice itself is actually seasoned and not plain, which helps. Chashu and other fillings like eel has been a miss at this location. Same with their tuna and salmon offerings. I must admit I'm especially not a huge fan of their tuna offerings. It uses too much katsuobushi flavor in my opinion. I like mine more mayo forward. The service here can be a hit or a miss. It really depends on who is working there and what time/day of the week it is. Same goes with the availability of seatings. Parking is free but can be a hassle to find a close spot because of the proximity to the gym, superchargers, and other businesses.
