Located next to the Fedex Office so makes a convenient stop for lunch after visiting other businesses. Stopped in for lunch on a weekday and got a 1 meat mongolian bbq. If you get mongolian bbq, a fountain drink is only an additional $0.99. Altogther, the lunch and drink was $21. The mongolian bbq is standard procedure - pick your meat from the freezer case and then all-you-can-pile on a separate bowl with noodles, veggies, and sauce. Still, there's no way anybody can pile up $20 worth of ingredients and it makes the lunch expensive for what you get.

The ice cream is gone. The prices went up and the customer service is a hit or miss. I last went on Friday at 8pm, an hour before closing. I picked 2 meat boxes and loaded up on white onions and mushrooms. My husband piled on the noodles and while I was putting the DIY sauces in the bowl I knocked over the noodles. The gentleman behind the counter said he "should charge [me] an extra $4" for the noodles. Upon ringing us up he did not charge me the extra $4, so I tipped him for being nice. While cooking I noticed that all my noodles that had fallen over on the tray were put aside to be thrown away. I wish I knew he was being passively aggressive and asked me while ringing it up, because I'd rather have paid extra than to waste it out of spite. Majorly bummed because even with the raise in prices, it was hard to find one local to where I live so I kept going. Might be a while til I return, the low carb Mongolian albeit delicious, has left a sour taste on my tongue. Anyone have suggestions for Mongolian, send it my way. Much appreciated!

I'm not sure if the owner has changed, but prices went up this past year and the food quality and quanity went down. You have to add noodles into your bowl prior to everything else, which forces you to choose from more noodles and less add-ons. The add-on availability isn't consistent from my last two visits and makes me prefer the mall genghis khan over this location. Its a shame, might have to drive the extra mile to other locations for noodles now.

It was ok, nothing extraordinary. Service was ok. The lady seemed impatient, The food just lacked seasoning. I guess every Mongolian place is different, so if you haven't eaten here before you may want to add more seasoning

Came here to for lunch with my coworkers at 11am on a Thursday and it was already getting busy. You can pick a meat and then pack a bowl full of noodles, veggies, and sauces. I got mine spicy and it was delicious. The guys behind the counter were fast and amazing. Will definitely be back for a quick and delicious lunch bite.

I couldn't wait lol but this spot is fire

Can someone clarify the one meat vs 2 meat pricing? For an extra $2, do you get twice the meat as the one-meat price? Also, do you only get one trip, or can you go back multiple times for one price?

Yes, twice the meat for the extra $$. You only go once for the price, use one bowl, but the meats do not go inside the bowl so you have the extra space for veggies.

    Do they have pocket bread?

Sorry we don't have pocket bread, but we have other Korean and Japanese side order options. Thanks.

    How does this place taste?

The way that I selected my ingredients made it to my taste. You select all of your ingredients, from meat, veggies and sauces. So as long as you pick what you like, it should taste great!

We started with the shishito peppers and takoyaki, and the takoyaki was easily some of the best we've had. It came out piping hot, perfectly crispy on the outside, and soft and fluffy inside. Since it was such a hot day, we ordered the Hiyashi Chuka (chilled ramen) and the Oroshi Soba Combo with grated radish and tempura. Both were super refreshing and exactly what we were craving. The Hiyashi Chuka had a great balance of flavors with fresh toppings, and the soba was light, chewy, and paired really well with the crispy tempura. The hot tea was a nice touch, and everyone working there was friendly and welcoming. We also loved how extensive the menu is. There are so many Japanese comfort food options that we'll definitely be back to try more. If you're looking for authentic Japanese food in the area, Gomen is absolutely worth a visit.

Restaurant quality just hasn't been the same, but that is not the case here. Over the years their team has continued to offer delicious food and a nice casual dining experience. The store is small and cozy, so not great for parties larger than 4, though I'd really just suggest 2. Great for lunch or a low key dinner, it is one of my go-to for ramen spots. I really love their white miso tsukemen, the thick noodles are slightly chilled and served with a wedge of lime which is a nice way to lighten the very rich broth. I've had their red miso before but its deeper flavor is a bit too powerful for my taste, so for those who like something with more umph, that's a great choice as well.

The interior is very small, maybe 16-20 seats total. For food, we ordered the gyoza 2/5, spicy white miso 3.5/5, and spicy red miso 4/5. The gyoza was disappointing since it was reheated and still tasted cold in the middle. Both ramen were filled to the brim with rich, flavorful broth. The white miso broth was slightly less thick and rich than the red miso. The noodles were chewy, and the Tao spice had a nice kick. Unfortunately, there was no AC running so we got pretty hot and uncomfortable during our meal. They also charged us for an extra drink that we didn't order. Sadly, this spot did not live up to expectations and will not return.

It's a small place with a handful of seating, very clean with a wonderful ramen house ambiance. I'm sure the atmosphere is different when it's packed, but it was nice and quiet when we got there which made for good conversation and a great experience. I decided on the Shasho Ramen, and my son chose the Katsu Don plate. There's a 1-20 scale for the spice level, I chose 20 as I'm dead inside. Spice is subjective, so don't blame me if your experience is different, but I didn't find it all that particularly spicy - what I did find though was some wonderfully flavored broth with a perfect blend of spice and notes from the vegetables and other spices. The noodles were cooked proper, and everything was warm and fresh! My son said his katsu was perfectly cooked as well, nice and crunchy and not overly fried. The service was on point, they were on top of things and we were never left wanting. The broth is rich and almost like a red-braised stew, though a bit on the salty side -- it would've been perfect with a Chinese sesame flatbread! The noodles themselves are basically instant noodles, nothing special I'm guessing they don't actually make hand-pulled noodles here. The lamb tripe soup has a slightly stronger lamb taste, but adding some cucumber and lemon helps balance it out. The flavor is quite unique -- not the clear broth style we get in China, but more of a saucy, braised type of soup. The tacos were surprisingly good, very close to what you get in Mexico. I tried beef, beef intestine, beef head, and pork tongue. The beef head was gelatinous and flavorful, and the intestine tasted great -- nicely seared, fragrant, bouncy, and absolutely no funky smell.
