Great value, great taste and fresh ingredients. The staff were kind and it's not so crazy packed that you feel rushed while chosing your ingredients. Great option for vegan meals.

Located next to the Fedex Office so makes a convenient stop for lunch after visiting other businesses. Stopped in for lunch on a weekday and got a 1 meat mongolian bbq. If you get mongolian bbq, a fountain drink is only an additional $0.99. Altogther, the lunch and drink was $21. The mongolian bbq is standard procedure - pick your meat from the freezer case and then all-you-can-pile on a separate bowl with noodles, veggies, and sauce. Still, there's no way anybody can pile up $20 worth of ingredients and it makes the lunch expensive for what you get.

The ice cream is gone. The prices went up and the customer service is a hit or miss. I last went on Friday at 8pm, an hour before closing. I picked 2 meat boxes and loaded up on white onions and mushrooms. My husband piled on the noodles and while I was putting the DIY sauces in the bowl I knocked over the noodles. The gentleman behind the counter said he "should charge [me] an extra $4" for the noodles. Upon ringing us up he did not charge me the extra $4, so I tipped him for being nice. While cooking I noticed that all my noodles that had fallen over on the tray were put aside to be thrown away. I wish I knew he was being passively aggressive and asked me while ringing it up, because I'd rather have paid extra than to waste it out of spite. Majorly bummed because even with the raise in prices, it was hard to find one local to where I live so I kept going. Might be a while til I return, the low carb Mongolian albeit delicious, has left a sour taste on my tongue. Anyone have suggestions for Mongolian, send it my way. Much appreciated!

I'm not sure if the owner has changed, but prices went up this past year and the food quality and quanity went down. You have to add noodles into your bowl prior to everything else, which forces you to choose from more noodles and less add-ons. The add-on availability isn't consistent from my last two visits and makes me prefer the mall genghis khan over this location. Its a shame, might have to drive the extra mile to other locations for noodles now.

It was ok, nothing extraordinary. Service was ok. The lady seemed impatient, The food just lacked seasoning. I guess every Mongolian place is different, so if you haven't eaten here before you may want to add more seasoning

Came here to for lunch with my coworkers at 11am on a Thursday and it was already getting busy. You can pick a meat and then pack a bowl full of noodles, veggies, and sauces. I got mine spicy and it was delicious. The guys behind the counter were fast and amazing. Will definitely be back for a quick and delicious lunch bite.

The food was truly immaculate and very delicious and impeccable. I love all the exotic boba flavors and the chewiness of the boba pearls.

Can someone clarify the one meat vs 2 meat pricing? For an extra $2, do you get twice the meat as the one-meat price? Also, do you only get one trip, or can you go back multiple times for one price?

Yes, twice the meat for the extra $$. You only go once for the price, use one bowl, but the meats do not go inside the bowl so you have the extra space for veggies.

    Do they have pocket bread?

Sorry we don't have pocket bread, but we have other Korean and Japanese side order options. Thanks.

    How does this place taste?

The way that I selected my ingredients made it to my taste. You select all of your ingredients, from meat, veggies and sauces. So as long as you pick what you like, it should taste great!

Restaurant quality just hasn't been the same, but that is not the case here. Over the years their team has continued to offer delicious food and a nice casual dining experience. The store is small and cozy, so not great for parties larger than 4, though I'd really just suggest 2. Great for lunch or a low key dinner, it is one of my go-to for ramen spots. I really love their white miso tsukemen, the thick noodles are slightly chilled and served with a wedge of lime which is a nice way to lighten the very rich broth. I've had their red miso before but its deeper flavor is a bit too powerful for my taste, so for those who like something with more umph, that's a great choice as well.

I had originally asked for the regular ramen with added pork, but ended up with the tonkotsu miso instead, which was okay. The biggest issue for me was how extremely salty the broth was. It was so salty that instead of enjoying the soup as intended, I could only add about two spoonfuls to my noodles. I really wanted to enjoy it, but the saltiness completely overpowered the other flavors. I also tried the spicy pork bun, which unfortunately tasted like it had been pre-frozen and then steamed. The texture and overall taste just didn't feel particularly fresh. Maybe I caught them on an off day, but overall, this just wasn't the experience I was hoping for. Given the Michelin recognition and the expectations that came with it, I left feeling quite disappointed. Unfortunately, not one of my better ramen experiences.

Service was friendly when I stopped by for a late lunch and we were warmily greeted by the staff. They have a variety of options to choose from, I went with the spicy salmon and scallop hand rolls and both were delicious. The salmon carpaccio and spicy edamame we ordered as appetizers was also solid. They brought out our handrolls as they finished making them and spaced it out so not everything came out all at once which I liked. The free salad was refreshing and a good palate cleanser. They also offer fresh wasabi for an extra charge which I liked. Overall, this is a solid spot for handrolls and sushi and I recommend coming here if you want something on the lighter side that isn't too heavy compared to the other spots in Rodeo 39! A 7.5/10

The Menudo with Pata here is pure magic. It comes served plain, allowing you to load it up at the salsa bar with cilantro, onions, limes, and spices. The broth is rich and almost like a red-braised stew, though a bit on the salty side -- it would've been perfect with a Chinese sesame flatbread! The noodles themselves are basically instant noodles, nothing special I'm guessing they don't actually make hand-pulled noodles here. The lamb tripe soup has a slightly stronger lamb taste, but adding some cucumber and lemon helps balance it out. The flavor is quite unique -- not the clear broth style we get in China, but more of a saucy, braised type of soup. The tacos were surprisingly good, very close to what you get in Mexico. I tried beef, beef intestine, beef head, and pork tongue. The beef head was gelatinous and flavorful, and the intestine tasted great -- nicely seared, fragrant, bouncy, and absolutely no funky smell. Overall, it's a spot worth trying. Mexican flavors generally suit our palate well, but the noodle dishes are on the salty side, so having extra drinks definitely helps!

I've also only ever been served by the owner here and she is super nice! (On busier nights there is a younger gentleman helping her out though.) Great service every time because she checks on you, refills water, etc. Pretty sure she owns Mymen with her husband, who I believe is the one cooking in the back. I've came back multiple times and have already recommended Mymen to others! I've tried various items on the menu and I can honestly say there's nothing bad. Everything on the menu is pretty tasty, with some being tastier or more worth spending on than others. My sister -- who recommended Mymen to me -- is vegan so I've even tried the vegan ramen and it was surprisingly creamy and delicious. It's actually better than some places' non-vegan ramens. My bf has ordered all the rice bowls and cycles between those and the noodle options depending on his mood. In my opinion, the noodle options are more yummy than the rice bowls. My go-to? The Mymen mazesoba of course! I love adding vinegar to it, and mixing the provided rice in with the leftover sauce/toppings is just the cherry on top. My bf's favorite is the delicious tonkotsu, which has a thick, creamy, savory broth. I've tried nearly all the appetizers here are they're pretty good, but are a bit on the pricey side. I'll get them once in a while if I'm feeling extra hungry and if my funds are in the black. Some of the non-entrée items I remember eating recently: The sausages have a nice snappy bite to them and pair well with the provided ketchup and mustard. The chicken skin wrapped gyozas are nice and crispy from the chicken skin. I recall the bao buns and chicken karaage being pretty good, too. The Japanese yam and vanilla ice cream dessert pairing is something I have never thought to try despite always eating yams at home, but the combo worked well together. The sweetness of the yam and creaminess of the ice cream together were wonderful. Overall, Mymen is a solid mom-and-pop that I love to frequent and highly recommend trying. The place itself is not that big but it was quite empty around 7pm so party of 7 got seated right away. Also ample amount of parking as it's part of a plaza. The selections was very limited so it made ordering very easy. I ordered the tonkatsu soup based with thick noodles for an additional cost and no green onions. The soup was creamy and delicious and the flavor was amazing. The chashu was tender and thin. I really really liked the thick noodles ! It was like a udon version of ramen, much harder than the thin ramen, the way I like it. We also order two orders of the fried chicken which was enough for 7 people. The chicken was as juicy on the inside but super dry on the outside and am in desperate need of sauce. But when we tried to get some, the waiter said the chicken is seasoned and that is why there's no sauce. You can barely taste any seasoning and like I stated the outside was really dry. Id only order this again if I can remember to bring some sauce. The table also ordered the dry noodles which came with the thick noodles and they loved the sauce. I wanted to give this place a 5 star because I'm definitely coming back for the ramen again! But 1) fried chicken that needed sauce and also 2) the AC was not working properly and we're going thru a heat save right now and eating ramen and sweating like crazy was incredibly undesirable. For $22 ramen, you can afford to make sure your AC works properly. Service was meh but when ramen is this good, I'll be back anyways, just not on a hot day.
