Came here two days ago and was honestly upset with the quality of the food. Keep in mind I am a big back and I know good food when I taste it. So for these many reviews to say this is "the best Chinese food ever" I question if they have any taste buds. Also, I'm just keeping it 100. Not trying to bash on the place. Fried rice and chow mein- lacked flavor. If I knew it had no flavor I would have gone with plain white rice. Beef and broccoli- very mushy, lacked flavor as well. Kung pao chicken- decent definitely needed something to make it good. Bbq chicken- super super MID. It didn't have that sweet taste you usually get from bbq pork/chicken and was very sad. Not to mention their fountain machine was nasty. It's like they haven't changed the syrups and had little carbonation to them. But whatever it's just a drink. Great local Chinese food spot! We just moved to cypress from Anaheim and we're hoping to find a great Chinese takeout spot: the food here is really good, nothing greasy, and everything tastes fresh! There's a pitched energetic battle in this space. The fountain has stained the floor ochre - rather than adjusted its spray - upstaging the caution sign. There was no chop suey in the hot table so I ordered the Vegetable Tofu $11.99. The lighting is surgical white. Go Country hollers from the speakers. The mildly garlicky chop suey was delicious and loaded with a nice assortment of fresh vegetables. No tofu anywhere. The diamond cutting pitch of the owner's directives (or her sister's) are evident in the nervous reaction on her son's cheeks. (If a carnival elephant ever breaks free - she'll wrangle it back to the trailer.) Her constant motion is her success but is wearing on the broom and dustpan. Chinese Takeout places like this are very common and you probably already know what you're in for. Is this a 5/5 star restaurant? no. Is it a 5/5 star Chinese take out place? to me yes. The portions are decent size, not over the top spilling out of the container, but they don't leave much space inside. The food is pretty good. It's in the better half of take out places for sure. I enjoy their wonton soup, something about it hits the spot, and if you eat it there they serve it in an actual bowl. Parking is super easy, and they're generally pretty quick. They have drink options, though I haven't tried any of them yet. They have a water feature inside that... spills out on to the hardwood floors. Based on all the good reviews we wanted to try this place. The line became exceedingly long as there was only one worker who took orders and was the cashier at the same time. Later on a gentleman came out to help. I got the two entree combo plate with half fried rice and half chow mien. My entrees were orange chicken and mushroom chicken. I always crave good Chinese takeout. I was planning on getting In-N-Out yesterday and that plan was failed by the extremely long lines so we went to Woktastic across the street and it wasn't a disappointment at all. The service was friendly and prompt. The restaurant had people eating and they looked like regulars. The store was clean and well kept. You can tell there is pride. Everything is clean. The food was on par with my usual favorite Chinese takeout. They even offer a discount to active duty service members and veterans. I support any business who support our military and veterans. We got the house chicken, orange chicken, spicy wings,broccoli beef, teriyaki chicken, fried rice, and chow mein. Everything was good. The orange chicken actually had an orange flavor which leads me to believe they make their own sauce from orange juice. The spicy wings were excellent. Great flavor and not overwhelming in spice or heat. Very delicious. It is a little further than our normal place but we will definitely return to try everything else. read more

Our FAV here is their Wor Wonton soup. It's better than at regular Chinese restaurants, and has helped us get over our colds many a time. We've ordered their 2 or 3 item combo plates and the meal for 4 or 6:, which comes with 2 entrees for the 4-person or 3 entrees for the 6-person. You also get sides of egg rolls and the fried creamy wontons for dessert. Our other go-to menu items are the orange chicken, broccoli beef, chicken chop suey, and their house fried rice and house chow mein. I usually avoid Americanized Chinese Foods counters like these because they're always greasy and all you can taste is oil but all the positive reviews got me curious. For this type of fare this is probably one of the best you'll ever have. Everything tasted great and was well seasoned. I was even impressed by the chow mein that you can choose to go with your bowl or combo plate. Delicious enough to eat on its own! When I do go to places like these I will 100% avoid the orange chicken, in fact there are only few Chinese restaurants that I will order it from. But the very sweet lady behind the counter insisted I sample it and I'm so glad she did. It was still delectably crispy and saucy at the same time. Most places don't get that right. I also had the pepper beef and was also blown away at the quality and how well they incorporate that nice peppery bite. Another thing most chinese places don't get right! As I was chatting with the very nice and welcoming young woman, I told her it was my first time at this place. She gifted me to try peppered beef!!! That was delicious, down to the last drop of juice at the bottom of container. It had onions and bell peppers that went so good with the sauce it was in. Try it. The orange chicken isn't the same orange chicken I normally am used to. It was different, but good. The orange sauce/glaze reminded me of the sweet and sour dipping sauce from McDonald's, it was almost sweet and sour chicken, but not exactly. It was good, just different.
