I just moved to the area in the last month. Found Lucky Chopsticks on Yelp last night, so my wife and I did a to go order, I ordered there, I didn't call in. I got Broccoli Beef, Chicken Chow Mein and a side of white rice. When I ordered they said 15 min, so I had a seat, 7 min. later it was in my hands and 7 min. after that is was in my belly. We dined in and while waiting for our meal, we noticed a large number of pick up catering orders. Lucky shaken beef noodles, honey walnut shrimp, stir fry green beans, and house fried rice were all delicious. I was really looking forward to trying this place especially after seeing so many people rave about it and the IG posts but unfortunately my experience was the complete opposite. I ordered the orange chicken with fried rice and was so hungry that I started eating in my car. After a couple spoonfuls, I realized the fried rice wasn't hot. It was only lukewarm. I figured the orange chicken would cool down while I went back inside, so I asked if they could make me some fresh, hot fried rice. About five minutes later, I got the new rice and headed back to my car. When I opened the orange chicken, I was shocked. Almost every piece was just thick, super crunchy batter with barely any chicken inside. It was so crunchy that I couldn't enjoy it. I went back inside and explained the issue. The employee told me that some customers like their orange chicken extra crunchy while others don't. I told her I definitely don't. I don't want chicken that's so hard and crunchy that it feels like it's going to scratch my throat when I eat it. She offered to remake it using the chicken they use for the sweet and sour chicken and toss it in the orange sauce, which I appreciated. She told me it would only take about 10 minutes, but I ended up waiting closer to 30. When I finally got the remake, it still wasn't good. It honestly tasted like a Great Value frozen meal from Walmart. I couldn't even finish it and ended up throwing it away. I appreciate that they tried to make it right, but between having to go back inside twice, waiting much longer than I was told, and spending $17 on a meal I couldn't even finish, the whole experience was disappointing. It would have been 5 Stars based on our first visit but our second visit was disappointing due to what appeared to be an "off day". We ordered the same meals as the first time we visited but the portion for my Assorted Vegetables & Chicken was smaller and some vegetables weren't included this time. Also, the amount of shrimp was less in the Golden Braised Shrimp. We also ordered Beef Lo Mein. It's a small, colorful spot & there aren't a lot of tables but they seem to have a popular Take-Out business. Lucky Chopsticks strives for good food at a good value & that's much appreciated but while everything tasted good & fresh consistency is also important. This shouldn't be a secret, for everyone should know about these noodles. Highly recommend. Lunch Specials (Set A includes entree w/ steamed or fried rice, Set B includes entree w/ steamed or fried rice & chow mein. Additional upgrade includes soup, egg roll & drink)- Mushroom chicken, garlic beef & broccoli beef. All good, save for the garlic beef, which was a bit lacking in portions. Cooked fresh to order, the lunch specials were packed securely in their containers, piping hot. If that wasn't enough food, already, Lucky Chopsticks had a Lunar New Year scratcher promotion. Every customer received a scratch off card, and mine scored a free hot & sour soup. True to it's name, the soup was quite sour, each spoonful warm & comforting like a snug blanket. Service was excellent. The friendly & hospitable staff greeted me with kindness, and the wait wasn't very long. As previously mentioned, seating is only available for 10 customers, so unless you're lucky to arrive during a lull in activity, and can snag a table, take out is recommended. Lucky Chopsticks is located behind IHOP, with plenty of parking available. Get lucky, and eat well at Lucky Chopsticks. Their Chinese food is on point, inexpensive, and can be had late night. Tried Lucky Chopsticks and honestly everything was tasty. They were running a red envelope promo -- spend $65 and you get a red envelope with a chance to win a gift card, which was a fun surprise. We ordered the cream cheese fried wontons (super crispy), their famous orange chicken fries (so good and definitely worth the hype), and the Lucky Shaken Beef Noodles. Everything came out hot and full of flavor, and it felt way less greasy than a lot of other Chinese food spots, which I really appreciated. Found a new gem just a few minutes from where we live. Decided to give them a try from the pics and menu prices we saw here on yelp. Glad to see we found a new spot we will definitely be back to. First off, the staff were very friendly and the restaurant is nice and clean. If you have a big party, you probably should order take out though. You can seat about 10 people here if there are no others parties here. With that aside, food was really good. Very tasty and cooked fresh. It was also served really quickly. We ordered shaken beef noodles, Mongolian beef, lemon chicken, orange chicken fries, stir fried string beans, and a bowl of rice. Everything was delicious and the orange chicken fries were a nice find. Something very unique to try. Just note the bowl of rice was a plate of rice so much more than we expected. When I went, we ordered at the counter, but I would recommend calling ahead or ordering online to avoid the wait. Don't believe all the hype or the food collabs. Maybe I came in with high expectations but at the end of the day, taste doesn't lie. For me, this is a fair 3-star experience overall. A big part of that rating comes down to inconsistency. Some dishes were decent, while others completely missed the mark. The hot and sour soup was honestly terrible. By far, the worst dish. It was so bad. The fried rice lacked a whole lot of flavor it needed a lot to bring it to life. Kinda same issue with the chow mein, which was pretty bland. The egg rolls were okay, but the filling had a slightly fishy taste that threw me off. The orange chicken was pretty good and fairly flavorful just not super amazing. Now, the standout: the jalapeño beef. This dish saved the experience. It was packed with flavor and easily a 5+ on its own. Without it, this probably would've been a 1 or 2 star review. At the end of the day, this is just my honest take. Everyone's taste is different but personally, I don't think I'll be coming back. And, if you're having second thoughts I'd say listen and order your Chinese elsewhere or you'll be displeased coming here like me. read more

Fresh made to order and delicious Chinese food that lies here. I was passing through town earlier this week on for an appointment and I saw this place so I ordered a couple of their signature dishes. They have some pretty good deals here starting at $9.99 for full plates so I took advantage of that along BOGO Thai tea deal. The ladies who run the place are really nice too. It's a small Chinese restaurant that's cozy, you can eat there but you just have to give it a little time since it's made to order, but worth the wait. My kid picked this place based of the photos of the food from some reviews and I can honestly say we were all impressed with the quality and taste of the food. We are now going to come back whenever we are in town. It is a great experience if you dine in the table area is not large so take that into consideration there is only about 5 tables. The service was great they don't really bother you but they do check up on you and are very friendly brought us a pitcher of ice water and cups as soon as we sat down. They were pretty quick as well.
