Be ultimately prepared to get more than your money's worth here. This place is incredible. The ingredients are delicious. The lunch specials are absolutely beautiful, but I'm gonna tell you right now. I ordered the three item plate they didn't get around. I split up the chow mein on the rice, but I made sure that I had the jalapeño chicken, the broccoli, beef, and the barbecue pork which by the way is the best barbecue pork I've had a long time now you might be thinking you're coming here for lunch, but you're not you're coming here for lunch and dinner because this place will take care of you. They will make sure they only do you get the best food but you get enough of it to share with your friends yes and they do offer the family dinner.

Stopped by Shun Fat for groceries and decided to get the chow mein 2-item combo again. This time the flavor was on point. I actually think their chicken tastes better than the BBQ. Portions were just as generous as last time, no way my husband and I could finish it, so leftovers came home with us. Before leaving, we saw another customer ordering the fried chicken. One of the aunties recommended it, so we ordered 6 pieces for $10, which already felt like a solid deal. To our surprise, she threw in 4 extra pieces!! so generous! We tried the fried chicken after home and it was honestly legit: crispy, well-seasoned, and way better than expected. Definitely a must-order next time.

I dare you to find another restaurant that would give you better portion of food along side with a amazing quality like Hong Kong Express! The portion here is HUGGGEEEE!! The staff really stuff your plate with entrees and dishes. My go-to entrees here are orange chicken, chasiu pork, and eggplant tofu! I tried their broccoli beef for the first time recently and it was so good too! I prefer their chowmein over fried rice, as it is more flavorful. Their orange chicken is amazinggggg!! It stay crunchy for a long time. We also try their wonton soup as well! The broth was flavorful and they give you lots of shrimps! Located in the same plaza as Thuan Phat Market and always busy with customer constantly coming in and out. I have try other Hong Kong Express location, but this location is the e best for the quality of the food and the giant portion! They have limited seatings, so mostly to-go.

Lots of food, cheap, definitely shareable. Hard to dine since it's always crowded after 3pm and there are only 3-4 tables. Better to take out, go home and throw onto a giant plate. Plenty of parking. Plaza feels run down and unfavorable to hang out at.

When my family needs a break from meal prepping for the work week, we like to order a couple of the combo boxes and still have enough leftovers for that same day! 2-ITEM combo is about $16 and 3-ITEM is about $18. The hype is real here, they really do stuff your box to the point it can't be closed. My family likes to order their Orange Chicken, Charsiu Pork and the Mushroom Chicken. Sometimes, the Orange Chicken is good but sometimes, and maybe I was just unlucky that one time, it felt like it was mainly batter. I prefer their Chow Mein over the Fried Rice. If you're not picky about Americanized Chinese Food, then you need to visit this spot! It's in the same plaza as SF Supermarket, so parking can be a struggle to find.

Portions! Portions! Portions! Need a perfect hangover meal? Or just craving some Chinese food? This spot is the best. The women behind the counter are wonderful and completely load up your plates. We came in with a line, and it went by fast. Recommend the chow mein and orange chicken!

The orange chicken and Kung pao chicken here are way better than Panda Express! The pieces are large, meaty, and juicy. The portion sizes are also great. They overfill your container! I just wish the chow mein was a little more flavorful and included more veggies. But overall, it's pretty good food for a good price!

After looking at several reviews about your restaurant, I decided to give it a try. I ordered the Chef's Special Broccoli Beef which is supposed to be "cooked to order", it was not. What I got was the bottom of the steam bar pan with with what was left. The Broccoli was very hard because they leave the giant stocks on, to make it look like you're getting a lot of food. There was also very little beef in the dish. We also ordered the Kung pao chicken which was not very good. The only thing that I can say was good about eating there, were the egg rolls which were fresh, crunchy and delicious. Other than that, I would not recommend this place unless you like large portions of rice and chow mein to go with low quality main dishes. I should have known not to eat there by the way the place looked, and it's cleanliness. After eating, my wife and I immediately felt sick.

Yes, the stories are true, the portions you get here are ginormous. I ordered a 3 item combo which came out to about $18-19, but they give enough food to feed probably 3 people. I ordered the broccoli beef, BBQ pork, egg plant, and chow mein, but from the picture you probably couldn't even tell there is anything under the BBQ pork lol. Now in terms of the quality, to sum it up, it taste similar to what you would expect to find at those all-you-can-eat Chinese buffets. In the sense that each item won't be the best you've ever had, but it certainly will get the job done! Otherwise the service was very nice and friendly. They work really hard to make sure you get your order quickly a d correctly. The store itself is kinda small with only 1-3 tables inside, so its best to just take your food to go. If you're someone who isn't picky about their Chinese food and are looking for a meal that will last you the next few days (or to share with other people), give this place a try!

So, we've been seeing this viral fast food joint providing overflowing food on their combo plate offerings and we had to check it out to see for ourselves if this was real! Verdict: True! Service? Lady managing the cash register (seemed like the owner or manager) was friendly but I must've caught the one helping me on the line a bad day. It was our first time ever there so I was not up to speed on HOW to order. Anyways, it got cleared up and after that, everything went smoothly. 1- 2 Combo Plate/Chow menu + Double Orange Chicken 1- 3 Combo Plate/Fried Rice + Beef Broccoli + Eggplant Tofu + BBQ Pork 4- Veggie Egg Rolls Ended up ordering an extra 1 Dozen Veggie Egg Rolls (yea it's that good!) Food was 3.5 out of 5. It's nothing special, tastes similar to other Chinese dishes. The Orange Chicken is tastier at Panda Express. But that's just our take. Store front is typical for a fast food takeout place. It only has 3 booths if you wanted to eat inside. Overall - clean. We would come back.

I shamelessly admit that sometimes I just want some Americanized Chinese food-- the kind that comes with battered chicken oozing with sweet and savory syrup and greasy fried rice. Hong Kong Express will give you just that, and in heaping portions at that! The lid won't close because of the huge portions and nothing more than $15 for the whole meal too. I try to rationalize by getting eggplants for the other entree but dang! The meal can split into 4-5 portions. Highly recommend NOT finishing everything in one sitting!! I know I can vacuum up food quick but I was done after maybe eating 1/8th of the portion. I wouldn't mind returning when such a mood strikes again! Parking is also plenty, easy, and free. Hop right off of 405 and go chow down!

Ive been looking for a new "fake chinese food" place ever since the quality at my usual go-to started going downhill. I can confidently say that this place is my new favorite I got the 2-item combo with orange chicken, charsiu and chow mein, and it was amazing. The orange chicken was crispy and has that signature flavor. The charsiu was just alright - I would probably just stick to the orange chicken only next time Staff was super nice - we asked if they were going to have a fresh batch of organge chicken come out soon, and they were more than happy to help us out. They even load it up so much that they have us a box to carry our food out

So this spot popped up on my social media I think it was IG with one of the people that I follow advertising the crazy amount of food you get and finally was able to try it out. It's in a huge shopping plaza so parking is unlimited. The shop itself though is quit small. There's only a few tables available and when we got there it was all full but we didn't have to wait long for a table. By the time I finished ordering, a table opened up. The place itself is a hole in the wall so it is what it is. I came here because I'm so curious about the actual amount of food they give you and if it is that ridiculous and anyone that's a fan of Panda Express knows the food portions there have been shrinking year after year. We ordered two three item combo and got the orange chicken, bbq pork and chicken, and green bean chicken and YESsssss I got a mountain piled sky high amount of food just off two items (see pic) it was so much food they were barely able to close the box and food was falling out. They stuffed the 3rd item in a togo box. Both the bbq chicken and pork was really good. The rice was ok but the noodles were thick and heavy. I got food coma just trying to eat the noodles down so I can close the box lol. We did not like the orange chicken and made me miss panda. The two orders were a mistake. One order 3 items is enough to feed 3 people. Service was awesome!!! And you are definitely getting your moneys worth. This place puts pandas serving amount to shame. I'd like to see more varieties as there's only two items I'd eat. But when I'm really really hungry and craving for Chinese panda food. I'll be back :)

The food, especially the burrito, is solid like the other Kei Concept spots. The drinks are just okay though. Besides the Vietnamese coffee, most of the coffee drinks taste incredibly weak. The matcha has also been disappointing every time I've tried it since their grand opening- too milky and watered down despite being ceremonial grade. The hojicha is good. It is THAT GOOD and worth it. Here's why: Pros: - The pizza! The variety of pizzas, crust styles and toppings. There's something for everyone. You can buy by the slice or a whole pie. You know how pizza sits in the display case and you get the dried out, hours-old slice? Not here. Every slice is fresh, chock full of toppings and flavor. My fav is the fig one (fun fact: each SH has a signature pie and this one is theirs!). My husband loves the pepperoni on Grandma style crust. Their variety of choices elevates pizza to the next level. -Not feeling like having pizza? No problem! They have amazing salads, subs, sides and pasta! Their vodka sauce is out of the world and the fresh meatballs taste like they're handmade by some sweet Italian grandmother. The garlic bread is "bomb", according to my teens. -The staff: always greeted with a smile and great energy. Efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. - The restaurant: always clean, plenty of tables and seating, and multiple TVs. Perfect spot for a date, family dinner or team celebration after a game. They have patio seating too for those that prefer outdoors. - Prices: This place won't gouge your pocketbook. In this economy, I appreciate the meal deals and getting the quality I pay for. Their portions are big enough to share and there's something for everyone at difference price points. Cons: - Parking can be challenging during busy times. They share the parking lot with a big center but fortunately, SH is on the corner and you're not having to fight all the people in the center of the lot. Honestly, that's the only con I can think of. I wish I lived closer but that's not their fault lol. Please give them a try if you've never been. This is not your average neighborhood pizza joint. You won't be disappointed!

Free ranch? 5 stars…read more I moved back to Fountain Valley after growing up here a few months ago. I was hesitant to try this place after reading some bad reviews regarding service, cost, quality, etc. I'm not sure what y'all experienced but this burger was delicious. Most local joints have dry burgers or put too much lettuce or not enough thousand island. Not only was the burger juicy, but the cheese was melted perfectly. For 80% of the burger, the balance with the veggies and thousand island was perfect. The end, as it all slides there eventually anyways, there was a tad too much but it was still delicious. The lettuce gave the perfect crunch. Genuinely one of the best burgers I went to. The fries were crispy yet not too crispy. They don't season their fries, which I honestly love so I can season as I want. I dined in and was asked if I wanted ranch and/or ketchup. Normally you have to charge $.25-1 for ranch, but they gave me two containers for free. I think the ranch is homemade, too. It's not too thick and is a bit watery but I honestly liked it. Plus they have yellow peppers and let you get your own, which is amazing. The workers were kind and attentive enough. I don't need nor care for them to be paying attention to me the entire time. That's awkward. They're human. But they treated me kindly and respectfully. Restroom and restaurant as a whole was clean and not too loud. 10/10 will come again. Stop being snooty.
