Pretty good make sure to use all the sauces. They have good quality meat I wish they had more veggie options

Food taste, quality and quantity is decent. I will visit there again soon whenever I am looking for Mongolian food

It use to be at reasonable price but inflation cause the price to go up. I went here yesterday for Mongolian special and was told that all items in one bowl with noodle and not 2 bowls as before. So 2 Mongolian noodles cost around 45 VS 32 that I pay for before. The food is still good as usual but I think it overpriced for noodles. The services was usual and friendly staffs. I will have to think about it before coming back here for Mongolian noodles again in the future. The place is typical to go or dine in place and nothing fancy about it. The ambiance is okay lol. read more

I can pick the food items what I want and they cook it. It's so delicious and satisfy my appetite.

The food was good but the service was not it . I found 2 hairs in my food . I asked the employee if he could remake and showed him the hairs. The female employee seemed MAD. I honestly wasn't upset at the hairs , i understand its something that happens but her attitude was not needed. After the cook remade my food the female employee walked up to me and said is it ok now ? No hairs ? . This was really not necessary . After that the vibe just felt off . We felt like they kept making faces at us and just made us feel uncomfortable. PS. The female was helping the male cook and neither was wearing hats or hair nets . Maybe invest in hairnets if you're going to be upset about customers finding hair in their food. read more

The food here is all great, the have a variety of things to offer. My favorite is their tempura roll & the baby noodles for my kids. The hospitality is welcoming & helpful as well, the owner & workers are all nice & helpful. It is a relaxing place to go & enjoy the food. read more

Good food. Big portions. Many vegetarian and meat options. But! The place feels so dirty. Flies everywhere. The employees do not speak English. This was exemplified today around lunch. A very ill employee was sitting with her head down on a table, coughing and miserable. Face on the table. I mentioned it to two co workers who didn't understand English. The man taking the money is also the ones cooking on the grill. Pretty, pretty, pretty gross. read more

The Mongolian food was good. I like how hot and fresh it tasted. The service was quick but like how they answered any questions. The ambiance was a hole in the wall but delicious food! My girlfriend had the bibimbap and it was cold easily. read more

We've been coming here for years and sadly after last nights blatant disrespectful gestures by the two employees, I won't ever come back here. Apparently they started this policy where you need to fit everything including the noodles.....into one small bowl. They have never done that before. The noodles have always been on the kitchen side and they ask if you want noodles with your order or not so you can fill your little bowl up with all your veggies. The lady in front of me was just as confused, and as I watched her trying to pack her bowl with veggies while it's all falling over because because of the noodles on the bottom. I thought that looks so dumb there's no way they would expect us to do that so I got two bowls one for noodles and one for veggies. The lady in front of me ask the worker if we can get two bowls for our things because her veggies were just spilling out and she could barely make her way to the next veggie cart. The worker who was a small Hispanic woman answered us in a tone as if she's been answering that same question all day. She said it all has to be in one bowl and if we get a second bowl it's an extra $7. This is where I had the problem, as I was putting it back she starts smirking at me like I'm the joke for trying to get two bowls. Mind you, I'm 6 months pregnant so of course I look like a big girl right now. So I put the bowl back, try to go about my business I pay and call my husband to tell him how they changed their policy. The girl comes back smirking at me and can hear me talking to my husband about it and so she goes and tells the other cook with a tattoo on his left arm and he starts to smirk and laugh at me. Both of them think it's hilarious that myself and the other customer found it absurd they changed their policy around. I don't know what was so amusing they felt the need to poke fun at smirk pregnant lady? It just never used to be like this we've been coming for the last 6 years but after last night and then constantly changing their menu and policies around I think we're just about done here. This used to be a place you got your moneys worth and you were able to customize and experiment your meal however you wanted which is what I loved about it this place. But now its almost twice in cost for smaller portions in meat and veggies. And now to receive unnecessary attitudes and glares from the employees because you asked a question. Yeah no thanks, it's enough for me we'll go to Gangis Kahn next time. read more

Disappointed with this new noodle that they are using. Not sure if they were out or trying something different but I really hope they bring back the thick noodles instead of these mushy thin ones. :( read more

BB Mongolian BBQ - Disappointing - Mongolian Near Me - Cypress, California

WOW THIS PLACE WENT DOWN THE DRAIN!!! This place has been my favorite Mongolian bbq for years. The quality used to be amazing. I went yesterday and it was quite the disappointment. Everything is in ONE bowl .. INCLUDING THE NOODLES. This never used to be like this. Noodles used to be included after you put your veggies in the bowl. The veggie selection was missing a bunch. There wasn't any bell peppers or water chestnuts, other veggies were thick chunks, just to give you an idea. They totally skimped on the flavoring since IT TASTED LIKE NOTHING!! The owner was extremely rude about how much I was putting into my bowl. Making comments and standing/hovering over with his arms crossed. For 3 plates to taste bland and tasteless and charging $55. WASTE OF MONEY! GO TO THE MALL! You will get better quality. read more

This spot was absolutely wonderful! The service was fast, efficient, & very accommodating. (I'm physically disabled, & the lady even brought my order to me without even asking) The food was cooked nicely, well seasoned, & is moderately priced. It offers a wide range of choices, & was very filling. I bookmarked this place to come again, if I'm ever close by. read more

BB Mongolian BBQ - Beef, pork, onion, mushroom, water chestnuts, pineapple, bean sprouts, & extra garlic. - Mongolian Near Me - Cypress, California

I was craving noodles after work today and remembered there is a Mongolian BBQ place in Cypress. I love the noodles, it was good. I selected my meat choice in the freezer then headed next to the veggie bar to get all my favorites and put it in the bowl they provided. Its small but I was surprised I fit alot in it. I gave the guy behind the counter my tray and he added all the spices I chose. He added the noodles. Then off it went to the grill. He did his magic and in a few minutes came out my order. The noodles definitely hit the spot and fulfilled the craving. I'm definitely coming back again. Check them out and support small businesses because it matters. read more

My husband and I frequent The Loft next door and saw this restaurant open a few months ago (maybe several months ago?) but we were skeptical because this is like the 4th restaurant/food business to occupy this space since we moved to Cypress 5 years ago. So we figured, this place wouldnt be any good and wouldnt last much longer. I know, so terrible of us to judge before we even gave it a shot! That, and we're pretty loyal to The Loft. But after remembering my brother in law rave about this place, and since our next door neighbor told us this was one of their restaurants (they own another restaurant at Cerritos mall that we've yet to try!), and we wanted to try something new anyway... we decided to try it last night. And, we weren't disappointed! The portions are a great for the price! Very delicious and filling! Hubby and I each had the Mongolian bbq, and teppan chicken bento box for the kids. Love the way Mongolian bbq is set up! First, you pick your box of meat (I had beef, hubby had a chicken/beef combo), then you grab your empty bowl and fill it, stuff it full, mound it up as high as you can with all the different veggies you want. Then you pour scoops of different sauces (we did one of each scoop - except for the spicy sauce, our palates are weak!). Then, you hand it to the cashier, pay, and the guy cooks it for you on the giant flat.... uh... wok? Grill? Lol whatever called. And what comes handed to you in a togo container is this piping hot, delicious dish that's enough to serve two people! Or, eat half for dinner and save the other half for lunch - like what I did! Our kids loved the teppan chicken and steamed rice, too! Hubby and I devoured the salad, cali roll pieces and fried dumplings it came with! Stuffed ourselves full! We will definitely be back! Totally regret not trying this place before! Now.... not everything can be perfect.... so the only thing I would ding them for is the inside. It's plain. Nothing fancy about the place. Some dings in the walls and tables. Flooring could be better. But food was great and customer service was great too! read more

BB Mongolian BBQ - I had beef with a ton of mushrooms, zucchini, jalapenos, and pineapples. Yum! - Mongolian Near Me - Cypress, California

Have been here and had good food many times over the past several years. Went today and now the noodle's are part of the small bowl you mix for them to cook. They have always been a separate bowl. Now he has taken half of your meal away and still charges same price. That's a 50% price increase!!! Noodles don't cost that much to cut the portions in 1/2. Lost several customers of your restaurant. Will patronize other restaurants near you. Your food was already on the high side. Now it's too much to get and still be hungry when I leave. read more

Sigh... I truly truly want to support small business and this place has the most wholesome owners, but the latest changes put me in a position where I don't think I can continue coming here. It pains me to even deduct stars from my original review because I know the economic downturn is what's driving the changes. Price has increased a second time in the last few months and one must now include noodles in the vegetable bowl. Prior to this change, the bowl was dedicated solely to veggies and noodles were tacked on before the food was grilled. I'm not going to deduct stars because I think people need to realize that complaining just makes you look incredibly rude/insensitive. Do you think they want their inventory costs to go up? Do you think they want a sriracha shortage in order to deprive you of fcking sauce? Do you think it's easy to make even minimal profit when margins are slim in the restaurant industry and resource cost/distribution is going up EVERYWHERE? Open your fcking eyes and have some decency to at least keep your bitc*ing off Yelp where you exacerbate the business's struggles. Go grocery shopping - prices are up because production/distribution are down and demand is still high. THAT'S HOW THE ECONOMY WORKS AND WHY PRICES ARE UP EVERYWHERE - NOT JUST AT THIS RESTAURANT. CRY SOMEWHERE ELSE AND GO VOTE FOR PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT STABILIZING THE ECONOMY. I'LL GIVE YOU A HINT: IT'S NOT ANYONE THAT IS AFFILIATED WITH THE GQP. read more

I used to come here so much a while ago, but I heard they were under new management and the food just isn't the same anymore. The crunch was not at all as good as I remember And they changed it so that u have to pay for more noodles in your bowl. They also uncharged everything for the food to not even be as good. Kind of upsetting considering this used to be one of my favorite places. read more

The employees are extremely nice and helpful. I always get the Mongolian barbecue where you choose from any variety of meats and then, of course, all the vegetables that you want to pile one with which sauces you like to make it spicy or not. It's a tremendous meal, it's healthy, and extremely filling. Also I drive home and then go grocery shopping and get home about a half hour later and the meal is still piping hot. I actually have to wait for it to cool down. They also have Bento, Ramen, Korean Bibim Bap and Sushi, but I always get the Mongolian BBQ. I eat here 3 to 4 nights a week! Guess what... I'm not married! read more

They have changed for the worst. Prices are up and meat portions are smaller. They also want to charge for the noodles in the same bowl you would but the vegetables. Sorry, but will not be returning anytime soon read more

Interesting concept. You can either get Japanese or Korean food such as ramen or bibimbap or you can do their specialty, the Mongolian BBQ. The BBQ starts at the front where you pick veggies and your choice of meat. One tray is equivalent to one serving so if you get another tray that's 2 more dollars. It's kinda like teppanyaki where they cook in front of you. They have improved from previous people's reviews since the workers speak English, the stages are clearly labeled and it's a lot more customer friendly. The food is good it kinda reminds me of those asian buffet where you bring the food for the chef to cook but I guess both would be Mongolian bbq. It's decent for the price I'm curious what the ramen and bibimbap taste like read more

I used to have to go to the mall food court to get my Mongolian bbq fix so I was so happy with this stand alone restaurant opened near me! It follows the same drill, grab a bowl and tray and start piling in the raw veggies. Unlike the mall, where you gotta do the same for the raw meat, the meat here is prepackaged so you don't have to touch the raw meat itself and it doesn't take up space in the bowl :) I add in broccoli, mushrooms, cabbage, zucchini, onions, and bean sprouts. Then I add in 1 scoop of the 6 different sauces and garlic. You then pay the cashier and they cook everything behind the counter. It's a lot cleaner and still tastes great! read more

Fresh veggies, great choice of meat and veggies, and great friendly service deserves a solid 5 star! Oh and the flavor? Amazing! They have a sauce bar at the end to spice it how ever you want. They have other Korean and sushi roll options too. Come with your friends and satisfy your craving, whether it may be Mongolian bbq, bento box, ramen, bibimbap or sushi rolls. As soon as you enter into the plaza, you can't help but to notice a very attractive bbq smell. Guess where its coming from? BB Mongolian BBQ because they cook for your meal right there and then, fresh and hot! It's located in the same plaza as FedEx. So conveniently come by to drop off your pkg at FedEx and grab a bite to eat as well. Talk about efficiency! There are plenty of parking spots and it's surrounded by a lot of corporate offices. Came back again in hopes they would redeem themselves but they did quite the opposite. Walked in and started filling my bowl just for the owner to start yelling that i needed to get noodles. There were no noodles out... about 2 minutes later a guy from the back comes out holding the noodles. So me and 2 other people start filling our bowls again. Then he starts yelling that we got to much and we need to put some back. I'm pretty sure we're the ones paying for it so why does it matter. The guy in front of me started to get mad as this guy is yelling at us in the store. If they are so picky about what you do they should fill the bowl for you and not be self serve. 3 other customers in the store were mad at on the verge of walking out. These new owners are terrible they need to get it together this place is falling apart. Also not to mention that half the store is full of boxes and unopened food. Honestly just gross in here and terrible service. Save yourself the trip and go to the place at the mall read more

So good. Love the low key set up and the vegis and meats are good - sauces also just the right choices. Noodles great.

It's not AYCE, but how much can one really eat of this stuff? It's super filling with all the noodles, veggies, and meats. And you really can't go wrong with Mongolian BBQ, because you're the one who picked all the stuff on your plate, right? So here's how this works: first pick out your choice of meats. These come pre-packaged and there's choices of: chicken, beef, pork, or seafood options. There's also half beef/chicken, or half beef/pork, etc. For those like myself, you can get two packs of meats for only 2 more bucks. Not too bad. Second, you go along the fresh veggies and start filling up you bowl with whatever you like! Cabbage, onions, mushrooms, water chestnuts, bean sprouts, even tofu. That list wast just off the top of my head, they have most of the common ingredients of a Mongolian BBQ, if you've ever been before. Only difference is you don't need to SMASH all that meat down in the bowl to get you moneys worth. So the whole bowl; fill it up with everything you can fit in there from the veggie buffet tables. Next you just throw on some sauces. This is always the hardest part no matter where you go, because you have no idea what this stuff tastes like til it's in your mouth. Luckily, the kind man & lady are there to help! I usually go with 1 garlic, 2 lemon, 1 chili oil with chili flakes, 1 or 2 house sauce, and 1 BBQ. But there's no law here, just experiment with what u may like. Lastly the noodles. Don't worry if you piled up your veggies and it looks like there's no more room for the final ingredient. They'll take your veggie bowl toss it all on the grill and then put the noodles on themselves. When it's all done, ull have yourself a masterpiece of savory meats, veggies and noodles. Piled high and served up in a box. Most people stop here, but since I can not deny my Filipino-ness, I had to order a side of white rice! All in all, I was very pleased to have checked this place out! Very nice people, good food, good price. read more

I feel like it tastes pretty good but nowhere near Ghengis Khan. The lady serving and charging was really nice vegetable selection was pretty good not very thorough but I can't complain. I noticed that they put the noodles 1st so you fill your bowl with noodles and then vegetables but on my way out I saw somebody had filled their bowl with vegetables 1st and then stacked a huge amount of noodles. I think I will be doing that next time. They got it figured out! read more

Been here a few times. The system they have works quite well, especially for me since I don't have to worry about portioning vegetables and I don't get meat anyway. The veggies have been fresh each time, and the lady at the front is always so cheerful and helpful. I've usually come here once each time I'm in the area since the price point is cheap, and realistically you design everything yourself with Mongolian BBQ anyway. If it comes out wrong, it wasn't the hot plate or anything that did you in. They also do not add a crazy amount of water which is nifty since at some places they'll do that so it steams faster but you lose a lot of the flavor you were going for originally. For vegetarian this is one of my go tos in the area. read more

$15.08 for 1 pack of very little meat is too spicy for lunch. After cooking It barely to see the meat. The only good side that you can add as much as veggie u can in a little bowl.
