    Salmon Teriyaki Plate
    Jann B.

They are located in a plaza with ample parking available.I went during lunch on a weekday and it wasn't very busy. The cashier who took my order was kind and friendly. The place looked clean and they had a decent amount of chairs and tables. I had a to-go order but didn't have to wait too long for my food to be ready. I ordered the Salmon Teriyaki Plate - the portions were generous, I liked that it came with some steamed veggies and some orange. The salmon was tender and delicious. The sauce was good- not too sweet and not too salty, just right. Price is fair in today's economy. Highly recommend this place for a delicious, quick and fairly priced meal!

We decided to stop by and checkout Yaho Grill while searching for decent teriyaki chicken restaurants in the area based on reviews and the rating. It's easy to overlook this restaurant, as it's tucked in a corner of the busy plaza next to the bar. There are plenty of parking spaces, but it can be hard to find an open spot since you're right across from the college and in a very popular plaza. The parking is one thing, but when you go to enter the restaurant, there's a guardrail that stretches across the front of the entrance...something to keep in mind so you don't walk right into it while exiting. I decided to try their spicy pork plate, and my wife opted for the chicken steak teriyaki plate. They give you a decent amount of food, so you should be pretty good to go, but make sure you grab a drink if you get the spicy pork.....it burns really good. I would come back for the spicy pork. I started regretting it about three bites in, but by the time I finished, I thought about the next time I would come back....just need to prepare myself a bit. It's like Hot Cheetos or Takis....yes it burns...but in a good way. There are tv's inside if you want to sit and lose yourself for a few moments, but the ambience of the place could use a slight uplift. It just felt very dim inside.

this place is a family owned Mexican business couldn't believe it. This place was amazing. Highly recommend this location to everyone super friendly. We actually got there at closing time but they were so nice. They let us order and also let us eat inside. Very friendly family. I wish them all the success. Thank you we will definitely be back.

I've lived in the area of Yaho Grill for a long time and have never stopped. Finally, the wife and I decided to pop in and grab some dinner. I will admit, it's not what I was expected - I was expecting more than just basically, teriyaki and rice. I was hoping for than options, but my expectations didn't change my opinion on Yaho Grill. The wife ordered a chicken bowl and I order chicken and shrimp. The service was great, the food was good, and the inside was clean and welcoming. The food was fresh, and I enjoyed the sauce that they offer on the side . It all came out quickly and it was super quiet inside and very mellow. Definitely on my teriyaki and rice rotation.

Came here with my dad, my sisters and a couple of the inlaws for dinner when I was visiting them while on vacation. Honestly, the food was just ok, but the service was outstanding. Yahoo Grill is in a small strip mall across the street from Cypress College. Depending on when you visit the restaurant, parking, which is free, may be challenging since the shared parking lot isn't all that big to fully support the customers that visit all of the nearby businesses. The seven of us came in two cars and were able to get parking spaces, probably because it was after 7 pm on a Thursday night. This restaurant is on the small side, so I can see customers having to request their orders to go during peak times due to not having enough places to sit inside. The restaurant was clean. Drinks were self serve from beverage dispensers. The menu includes meals in the form of plates, bowls and salads (with protein), and kid's meals are also on the menu. The service is outstanding! The employees were so welcoming, and they didn't have an issue with the seven of us coming in during their last business hour that day. Prices are very reasonable; however, the food quality for some of the meats isn't the best. While my family members ate, it looked like some of them had issues with their food. My sister-in-law looked like her beef rib meat was chewy, which she later said was tough. The shrimp was overdone. Those of us who had chicken or teriyaki didn't have any issues with chewing those meats, and they were cooked perfectly, as were the veggies and rice. The veggies, however, lacked flavor.

This is my secret gem every time I come back from college! I always crave this spot whenever I'm not home. For the past decade they've had the best grilled chicken and shrimp ever!! My hack is to ask for half chicken and half shrimp. Their rice is always good too. You can tell their food is fresh and grilled in front of you. The woman cashier is always sweet too. I get sad that they close on Sundays though. There's a good deal right now for Cypress college students where they can get a free drink!

Imagine craving a teriyaki chicken veggie bowl then coming across the most amazing one. AMAZING amirite? Family owned. Tasty. Lots of dipping sauces. Good customer service. My new go to when I need something quick to eat for a lunch break!

I really appreciated the fries actually not tasting soggy despite the seasoning on top. The chicken bowl with eggs were delicious too. I liked the coleslaw they included as well. It had a nice black pepper flavor to it that made everything taste a bit more brightened. I wish it gave me a no rice / all slaw option. I also liked the lack of sour / mayo laden nature of typical coleslaw. This, I wouldn't mind eating all the time. I usually otherwise can't stand coleslaws. The service was friendly and efficient. The pricing was reasonable for the amount of food I got. The place had good parking and the online ordering went through without a hitch. Looking forward to returning again in the future.

Koko's is a staple restaurant in this area for casual drinking vibes and consistently good food…read more Everything here is made to be good with a beer and some soju. We got the 8pc fried Pepper Soy wings and the Large Dubboki with cheese. The wings are always so good here. They're humongous, crispy, and sauced to perfection. The Pepper Soy flavor was so yummy and umami.   The trick is to get the dubboki so that you can dip the chicken in the sauce. The rice cakes are soft, and the sauce is sweet and spicy. The table also gets sat with a free side salad and pickled radishes, which is a great way to cut the richness of everything. A bite of chicken, a sip of beer, some rice cakes, and a bite of cold radishes really makes the night. Come out to Koko's for a drink, some eats, and a good casual time.

This used to be one of my favorite spots, so it honestly makes me sad to write this…read more They've made a few changes to the menu and pricing. The dukbokki can only have ramen when it's a large. On top of that, cheese is now $4 extra and ramen is $3, which feels a bit steep for add-ons. They also changed the salad sauce--it used to be more on the sweeter side, but now it leans spicier (around a 3/10 spice level, still good), which may or may not be your preference. The biggest issue, though, was the food safety concern. Our order included 8 pieces of fried chicken (4 drumsticks and 4 wings). The drumsticks were fully cooked and fine. However, the first wing piece I bit into was clearly undercooked. Because of that, we did not continue eating the remaining wings--the other three were set aside and later on, discarded into the small trash bin they keep at the table. When I brought it to the staff's attention, they told me the redness was from bone marrow due to a broken bone and that the chicken was fully cooked. However, the bone only broke because I bit into it, and the meat itself was visibly pink. Not just near the bone where bone marrow would be. The actual MEAT was red and pink all throughout. This was not just "marrow." Even zooming into the picture, you can see the meat on both the plate and in my hand was still red and pink. Additionally, the remaining wings were only visually checked by the waiter and were not opened or inspected internally, which would not confirm whether they were fully cooked. This is concerning, as a visual check alone doesn't accurately assess doneness. It also concerns me that, despite not being present, the owner claims his servers point of view as factual, including the claim that all the wings were eaten, which is not accurate. We did not consume the remaining wings after the first one I bit into. Unfortunately, there was no apology from my perspective, simply an "explanation" stating it was bone marrow. And the situation wasn't handled with much concern. I ended up feeling sick and had to go to the bathroom to throw up, which completely ruined the rest of the experience. Overall, I'm really disappointed. Between the price changes, the food safety issue, and the owner's response focusing more on defending the situation rather than acknowledging the concern, I don't feel comfortable coming back.

The auntie was really nice and friendly, she takes orders and brings out food, while the uncle either makes the food or runs the kitchen inside. In terms of food, this is my rating for each dish: Snow Onion Chicken: 4.5/5 Honey Garlic Chicken: 4/5 Corn Cheese: 4/5 Bulgogi/Sweet Potato Pizza: 3/5 I really like the snow onion chicken, it's pretty similar to the one I had in Korea. The honey garlic chicken was also pretty good, but it's not really special since many other chicken restaurants also have it and they taste pretty much the same to me. What I do like is that they didn't use too much batter, so it's crunchy without feeling creasy/oily. The corn cheese has some sweet potato pieces in it, my mom personally likes that. I find the corn cheese to have a little too much cheese, as the cheese was overpowering the corn. Same for the pizza, the cheese was overpowering all of the other ingredients. I honestly was expecting the pizza to be Korean styled, but it's basically American pizza with the meats replaced by bulgogi and sweet potatoes, so that was kinda disappointing. Overall, my family had a good time there, and we really enjoyed the chickens. I'd come back for the snow onion chicken!
