    Pad thai, chicken curry
    Rebecca S.

Yes the Cypress location didn't disappoint. Love their Pad Thai and the chicken curry was so tasty and excellently done.

Late dinner with family, there was no waiting at all for a table. Used to come here quite often decades ago, it's a testament to their good food that they have remained open at this location for quite a long time. Started with clear glass noodle soup: lots of vegetables plus thin sliced chicken breast: perfectly seasoned and very comforting. Nam tok grilled beef served with cabbage wedges and sticky rice- dressed with lime, thin red onion and ground roasted rice. Green chicken curry was mildly spicy but the coconut milk gave a distinct sweetness. The curry was served in a metal bowl on a wooden base. Steamed swai fillets of fish in lime garlic sauce also mildly spicy, fish was tender. Pad see ew wide flat noodles in dark gravy and sliced Chinese broccoli or gai lan, I added shrimp but I think it's probably better with some beef. Also got Hainan chicken and rice- the sauce served with it is delicious! Rice is not included in any entree , we asked for a large pot ($10). The rice included and late nights are all gone the way of VHS and pay phones. Also paid for a pot of jasmine hot tea (two of our party were under the weather), Total for dinner plus tax was $160, Lot of leftovers for lunch the next day. Will make this spot part of my rotation.

3.5/4 Was pretty quiet around 5:30pm on a Sunday afternoon for an early dinner. Menu has a good variety of dishes to choose from whether you're craving rice, noodles, curry or sides. Little something for everyone. The chicken dish with rice that they brought out was slightly cold so we told them to heat it up again, it got better. The noodles in curry with steak was my favorite and I could like all the sauce out of the bowl, I would have!

The restaurant is located at the South West corner of Valley view and Cerritos Ave. We came in @ 2:45 pm quiet place to eat in and lots of sitting room the air conditioning was good enough to beat the heat outside running a very humid 93 degrees Fahrenheit I ordered the Chicken Peasant Plate and my wife ordered the Beef Peasant Plate the orders came out fast from the looks of the plates it does look like these are for peasants lol. So since the orders where more of fried rice we ended up ordering one more to complete our need for protein. We ordered the Prik King a dry curry sautéed deep fried pork belly with green beans to try it out. The pork was fried very deep and not crispy at all maybe we made a mistake in ordering but I was not satisfied with the taste sorry to say. We might come back to order something else next time.

The service here is over the top!!! I asked if Thai tea was refillable and the waiter said no but still brought me another one. I had the garlic beef and it was delicious!!! The yellow curry was amazing, too.

Sweetie Thai has been in this plaza for at least 20 years! I remember it was there when I was at CHS and college and it's still there now that I've been working for 16 years! The Thai food here is decent, I haven't came around frequent enough over the years anymore but I always remembered they had really good drunken noodles. I came back with my friends recently and got the seafood drunken noodles and two desserts, the mango sticky rice and the fried bananas with ice cream. Desserts were good but the mango was not ripe so it was had and not sweet. Drunken noodle (called monsoon here) had a good flavor and some seafood pieces were better than others though they were of decent size. Service was still good and I know their service has always been nice and consistent. They still have the fish tanks since all these years. It's a very low key casual but cozy Thai restaurant vibe.

I came here with my co workers today for lunch. It's spacious and the food was delicious! I was craving pad see eww again. Haha

Receipt for a To-Go order with TIP automatically added.

Just a warning to people who take out, TIP is mandatory that they automatically add it to your total. I asked what it is and they said that it's included when ordering take out. I only ordered one dish so I was ok with it but this is good to know for anyone ordering to-go. I am not OK with me not being able to decide if I should tip or not so low rating for this branch. Food was fine though. Place is newly renovated.

I am still a rookie in the thai food world but feel the quality here was not happening. I got a basic AF plate of their orange chicken and it was trash. The sauce was terrible and the chicken tasted old, barely heat tray warm. This said, I dug into some of my friends Cha-Lay rice with crab. Decent, not praise worthy, but decent. Maybe I am just ordering the wrong items, but I was not feeling my plate. We shared some siam spring rolls which were also decent, but no different than buying from a store and toasting at home. We came at noon so there was a heavy lunch crowd, but we were seated almost immediately. No hate or complaints on the service, our waitress was very attentive and friendly. Despite the old and outdated interior, the establishment seemed clean, so it didn't feel gross dining in.

I was in Cypress for work today and had a sudden craving for Thai food. After finding SweetTee Thai with some great reviews, I decided to check it out with my coworker--and I'm so glad I did! First off, the customer service was amazing. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made the experience that much better. The ambiance was beautiful and cozy, definitely a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. We started with Thai teas, and they were perfectly brewed--not too sweet, just right. For the food, we tried the Crying Tiger Steak, Pineapple Fried Rice, and a few other dishes. Everything was SO fresh and flavorful. I was honestly impressed by how delicious everything was. We definitely have to come back! Highly recommend SweetTee Thai for anyone in the area. You won't be disappointed!

Posted on their front door. Lmao! Boycott this restaurant!

Are you kidding me? Boycott this restaurant! Mandatory tip for to-go orders? What a joke! This sign was on their entrance.

Great food and ambiance. Awesome pad see ew and the sauce is delicious. Will be back soon.

Cost of phone order was about the same as Uber eats pricing which is usually increased for cost of using service.

I got the pad see ew with thai bbq pork and my friends got the pad thai with chicken. I thought the pad thai was decent, but I was very impressed with the pad see ew here! Portions are pretty decent as well (as it should given the price point). We also got thai tea which they have in these cute bear shaped bottles. I thought it was a bit too sweet, but we all still enjoyed it as a treat. The kind lady also was able to give me two different chili paste sauces to try when I was asked for it which was nicely appreciated. Definitely would recommend this establishment for yummy Thai food!

What initially caught my attention was the super cute bear logo, and honestly, I'm always down for Thai food, especially when I show up absolutely starving and ready to inhale everything. We got the fried rice with steak, which I think was an extra $8, which felt a little steep for the add-on, but the portion was solid. We also got the pad see ew with max spice, and the server did the whole "are you sure?" warning, which immediately made me nervous because I was expecting my life to flash before my eyes. But honestly? It was more like Buldak noodle spicy. Definitely a good kick, enough to make you feel it, but not the unbearable, regret-your-life kind of spicy I had mentally prepared for. The shrimp in the pad see ew were surprisingly super tender. The thai tea was mid hahahahh the bear got me again.

I decided to give thai nakorn another chance. I came on a Monday during lunch at opening time. i Saw that they have updated their menu as well as having a happy hour menu. I opted for the regular entree, I was deciding between the pad thai and street style pad thai, the waitress told me the pad thai was more like ketchup while the street style pad thai was more traditional with tamarind sauce, and has more of a tangy sauce. I opted for the street style pad thai with chicken n shrimp. The street style pad thai portion size was good, lots of tofu and good amount of chicken and 2 pieces of shrimp. It was saucy and wasn't dry, the pad thai flavor was definitely on the tangy side, personally preference I prefer my pad thai to be a bit more sweet, but still overall a solid Pad thai 4/5. I would want to come back and try the regular pad thai or even the happy hour menu during lunch time.

Came here excited because it's been a few years, we left with our taste pallet missing something. Service is always excellent I have no problems I always get what I need and my orders always right. It's a no frills hole in the wall establishment. I have perfected my order and it is always the same - beef pad se ew: delicious, piping hot, garlicky flavorful, beef is a little chewy but it's fine the noodles shine with the Chinese veggies -crispy fried rice: legit in this name crispy, chewy, refreshing paired with salad and ask for some chili fish sauce drizzle it on top delicious bites! -pork jerky: chewy, salty, flavorful but I don't care for the sauce it comes in sells out often get it while you can! It's a lot of food often I have to take a little bit togo but the portion size isn't always consistent so keep that in mind if you are with a larger party. Honorable mentions: Papaya salad is good they have 2 styles get the one that has a crab o watch out though get medium or mild it can be very spicy if you can't handle it. Recently tried the boat noodles and it was interesting very large and filling lots of noodles and toppings. Loved the fried shallots taste and texture it added you smell tom yum but it doesn't taste like it at all very unique taste I don't know what to compare it to.
