    Small tendon pho

This is hands down the best pho spot in town. I've been coming here since they first opened, and I've been a regular ever since. I come here so often that the owner recognizes me every time I walk in. She's always incredibly welcoming and does her absolute best to take care of everyone. She runs the place by herself, so when it gets busy, service can slow down a bit--but you can tell she's working hard and genuinely cares about her customers. If you come often enough, she might even memorize your order! (Mine is ridiculously complicated, too. ) The biggest thing that keeps me coming back is the consistency. The broth is always rich, flavorful, and served piping hot. There's nothing worse than getting a lukewarm bowl of pho, and I've never had that problem here. Another little detail I really appreciate: when I ask for no cilantro, they actually only leave out the cilantro. A lot of pho places remove both the cilantro and green onions, but not here. (Cilantro tastes like soap to me... don't judge. ) The portions are huge, and it feels like the meat never ends. (Not sure if she just hooks me up because she knows me, but I'm not complaining!) Personally, the rare steak and flank aren't my favorites, so I always order the tendon--and it absolutely smacks every single time. If you're looking for consistently amazing pho made by someone who truly cares about her customers, do yourself a favor and give this place a try. I recommend it to everyone.

One of the best pho I've tried! The broth is so flavorful, the servings are huge if you order the big ones. The server was super nice, she was making sure we had everything. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was very clean and spacious.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Would totally come back!

All I can is Wow! I have had a lot of Pho in my lifetime, but this was one of the most delicious Pho I have had! The meat just fell off the bone and the broth was so tasty. I did not want to alter it with any hoisin or Sriracha. It was an impromptu visit as I was getting my car waxed across the street at the car wash. I saw that they were open so I gave them a try and I am so glad I did. They were very friendly and welcoming and I had a nice chat with Julie. I will definitely be back with my family.

Came here again yesterday. We were seated quickly and our order was taken in just a few minutes. I decided to try the shrimp pho, #11 on the menu since I always get brisket. I'm trying not to have red meat as much anymore, it's nice they have options here. The food was good. I decided to add a little chili oil and the spice elevated the flavor for sure. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is always clean when we've come before and it's still clean now[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], [[HIGHLIGHT]]glad there was more people here when we came and the service is always good.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I came here with my boyfriend for dinner. We were originally looking for Noodle Factory, but discovered it had closed and this restaurant had taken it's place. This place still had noodles so we were ok with having dinner here. We were seated right away and took some time to look at the menu. The decor is simple and clean. To drink I got the Thai milk tea and my boyfriend ordered the Vietnamese coffee. The Thai milk tea was delicious and my boyfriend enjoyed his strong coffee. For our entrees I got the bbq pork with vermicelli noodles and my boyfriend got the chicken wings and fried rice. My noodle bowl was really good, all the ingredients were fresh and the noodles had a nice bite to them. I really liked all the fresh vegetables, especially the spiral cut cucumber. The pork was flavorful and fatty which contrasted well with the fresh veggies and noodles. My boyfriend liked his fried rice, but said the wings were a little messy to handle. We had a nice and delicious dinner here.

Pho Ly Quoc Su is a great local spot for Vietnamese food prepared and served with care. I've dined here a few times and take-out a couple of times. Food has always been delicious and satisfying. My go-to items are the pho bo and spring rolls. I look forward to trying more items soon like the rice dishes. The restaurant is next to a Korean market; the interior has ample seating and a quiet vibe. Some light music would help brighten the atmosphere. The staff and owner are kind and attentive. Some reviewers say this place has or doesn't have that authentic taste. I have no comparison to what's "authentic," but I really enjoyed the meals here, and that's all that matters. Being local is a big plus, without having to drive to Little Saigon in Garden Grove. Highly recommend.

3/8/24 It was a chilly night and a great time for some Pho for dinner. I tagged along with my sister and her family. We always past this mini-strip mall area and this was our First time trying this restaurant. Parking: lots First impression, clean, you can smell it too. Very a spacious and bright. Service: she was the server, the waitress, the bus lady and the cashier. She was quick! Friendly and attentive as well. Food: only going to rate what I ordered. I had the ox tail pho. When it first came out, it didn't look like what I normally get at other pho places and not to mention, what I received did not resemble their photo from the menu. I was expecting the large bones. Nevertheless, the broth had depth of flavor, it was delicious. The oxtail was tender, but it had too much fat and tendon for me. I also ordered the crispy shrimp rolls. The shrimps were fresh and the rolls were crispy. Overall rating from my sister's family, thumps up. Looks like we will all be back.

Fast service. Granted it was empty when I was there. The food was decent. Can't say it's the best I ever had but it solved my craving. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall ambiance: this seems like a family restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is also really clean. Our server was constantly cleaning around and organizing the place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Hope business picks up for them :)

I just found it overall a bit aggressive and over seasoned, with not a lot of layers or subtleties in taste, which is usually a sign to me that the cook is substituting salty strong flavors in the place of more depth of flavors. So it's kind of like catering to a lower common denominator and that approach may satisfy many, without anyone really being impressed by the result. But perhaps expecting subtle refined flavors is too high a bar for a chain type of Asian food place - maybe. While I did like the noodles and the sauce, the filet mignon entree portion was something more along the lines of what I'd find/expect at a Panda Express. Which isn't terrible, as I like Panda, but I just expected more with the high rating. The place is clean and modern and seemed newer, but the overall vibe was more impersonal, quick-serve, corporate. If someone wanted to meet and eat here, I'd be fine with it. But I also wouldn't go out of my way to eat here or necessarily suggest it if I were meeting a friend out for lunch.

I love that you order off their kiosk which is conveniently located at the table already. The staff was quick to bring out the banchan. To start, we shared their leek pancake and pork blood sausage. For my lunch I went with their cold noodles since it was a cold day. The people I came with had some pork spare ribs, which came with rice and bone knee soup. And a bibimbap. The leek pancake was the best thing there. The pork blood sausage was more of rice noodles rolled up with pork blood flavored. I can't imagine it being much portion. Eveything else was bland which we all agreed to. For my cold noodles I added plenty of vinegar and mustard but it was not it. Still lacked flavor. Also it only had half a boiled egg and two verythin slices of beef. The pork was over cooked, dry, and lacked flavor. The bibimbap was also bland even with their red sauce. We we were all disappointed. The pricing is affordable. The staff was nice and quick. They made sure to check up on us. Parking here is a tough even though it was a weekday. Their lot was full and you can park next door but by the dental office but that was also full. We waited a little and eventually found parking. The restaurant is very casual, clean and spacious. This was just really meh to me.
