The soup I used to order is no longer available, Bun Bo Hue - the waitress does not even know this order, so I thought that was strange. Then my wife ordered her favorite, Bun Thit Nuong, but this time it's in English, BBQ Pork with rice Vermicelli. I noticed my wife is not eating the BBQ Pork, so I asked her, and she said it taste weird. I tasted it, and wooo BOY !!! it was super salty. I told the waitress, and she said she will inform the kitchen. But that was it, no explanation, no apology from the kitchen and we still paid full price for it. The ambiance is probably nicer than most pho places. That should have been a clue. The pho was decent. The brisket came out cooked but the meat tasted old and some pieces were overly chewy. The egg rolls were also okay, but there was something wrong with their fish sauce. It was overly salty. I know... fish sauce is supposed to be salty. But it definitely ruined the pork chop dish and the egg rolls because it felt like a mini salt bomb. Service needs work. When you enter the restaurant, you are greeted then seated by a friendly host. The place has an industrial modern rustic feel to it. Lots of items to choose from the menu such as noodles, soups, and rice dishes. There is something for everyone. My family decided to order the following: 5 Fried Egg Rolls with fresh lettuce. Crisp lettuce and newly fried egg rolls with fish sauce for dipping. Something about the combination makes it refreshing. 3 Grilled Pork Spring Rolls were delicious but would highly recommend a homemade sauce similar to Brodard's would bring it over the top. Beef Pho Noodle Soup Combo: Rare steak, brisket, tendon and beef ball. Good broth, lots of noodles and a good amount of meat. Orange Chicken with Fried Rice. Wife and daughter enjoyed the dish. Found my local easy accessible pho place in the neighborhood! Been ordering takeout here for the past few wks - service is always great! They are very polite and helpful on the phone, order is always ready on time and piping hot, staff is always warm and friendly in person. Definitely will be dining in once COVID-19 restrictions are over. I usually order the combo pho and tendon pho, sometimes the brisket pho. Items are nicely packaged and separated for to go orders, easy to assemble at home. Rib eye is packaged in plastic bag raw so you can put in soup when you get home. Toppings are also all nicely packaged in plastic. Soup is always piping hot when I get home. Size is decent even for regular size. Prices are reasonable and lower than other surrounding places, under $10 for each bowl of pho. read more

Met my friend for lunch and I told him I was craving Bahn Mi so he suggested Pho So 9. We never ate here so this was a new experience for us. I ordered the pork and he ordered the beef. I've eaten lots of Bahn Mi's and this is one of the best so far. The baguette was soft and the sandwich itself was at least 12 inches. The ingredients were fresh and it had lots of flavor. I went last night and the place was pretty busy. They had one girl running the tables and the front. Her name is Elpida. I have to say I was so amazed! With how busy she was she was so on top of everything. This girl is an amazing waitress and is such a hard worker. Even in all her business she managed to greet everyone in such a friendly manner and gave amazing service! I really hope management sees how amazing she is.
