I was at Rodeo 39 and I needed a caffeine boost to do work. There's a great bar to get work done here! Spanish coffee (3/5): Honestly one of the worst coffees I've had in my life. Ive been to the coffee stand before (it had a different name) and I thought it was underwhelming too. It was really sour for some reason and was difficult to drink. Not sure if I'd come back though
I came by around 7am and was surprised to see this place open for business. I ordered a soft and flakey croissant and a matcha unsweetened. It was yummy, but pricey. I was very comfortable sitting and working at the bar until my laptop ran out of juice. Someone helped me with charging it but the chord had to be plugged in on their side of the bar. I'm not sure if I should knock off a star for that or add a star because a worker was willing to help me. Eh, I'll keep it at 5 stars. No major issues. Maybe they don't want to be a remote work cafe. I get it.
Right at the front of Rodeo 39. Parking here can get pretty packed on weekends or around dinner time so keep that in mind. Plenty of seating right in front of this coffee shop or also around Rodeo 39 if those seats are taken Spanish latte: 5/5 I liked this a lot. Not too sweet but the coffee flavor wasn't too strong either My bf also got the double matcha which he liked a lot. It was sweet but not so sweet that you couldn't taste the matcha
My husband and I stumbled upon this place because we were checking out Rodeo 39. It was later in the day but it was a very busy spot and they had delicious looking cookies so we decided to try it out. I had ordered a s'mores-esq drink which was delicious but I believe seasonal and my husband had ordered a lavender latte. They had accidentally made my husband a lavender matcha. We are not matcha people BUT this changed me. They of course made the correct drink and offered us the matcha on the house. At first my husband said no thank you cause again, not matcha people BUT last minute changed his mind and I am so glad he did! We learned they use ceremonial matcha (I didn't know the difference) but I've tried other matcha and you can definitely taste the difference. To me, matcha tastes super grassy and it's just not my thing but I feel like this matcha just complimented the lavender flavoring and every time I took a sip I was amazed at how great it tasted. Needless to say I'm a Here & There matcha girlie now. Also, their mallow cookies are insanely delicious! If you see them, grab one! Highly recommend.
This a great spot for a good matcha fix! I order the Double Matcha with regular milk, for Rob. I'm sure the barista's know me now lol. Their service is quick, fast and kind :) I definitely enjoy the vibe that they have too. It looks like they enjoy crafting these delicious beverages. I don't just have it Here & There, I have it every weekend at the least (bad joke but pretty sure they get this a lot LOL) Thank you to the Here & There crew!

Love their double matcha! They have pastries as well that are super yummy. The only thing that sucks is parking especially on busy days but it's not their fault. The ambiance is always great! Customer service is great! I've never had an issue and I've been coming here for quite some time now.
Here & There is such a cute spot, and everything in the display case looked so good! The baked goods alone are reason enough for me to come back -- I didn't get to try any this time, but they definitely caught my eye. For drinks, I ordered the seasonal Sweet Corn Vienna Matcha, and I loved that they offered a matcha version of what's typically a coffee drink. It was unique, creamy, and really satisfying. My husband got the Ube Matcha, which was also delicious and well-balanced. Both drinks felt thoughtfully made and full of flavor. Overall, a great experience with creative drink options -- and I'm already looking forward to coming back to try the pastries next time!

There's a great variety of pastries like kouign amann, croissants, bagels and more. Love outdoor seating options too. Parking was easy on weekday.
The new-ish coffee/tea shop at Rodeo 39 is a solid addition to the cafe lineup! Here&There replaces the old coffee shop right at the front of Rodeo39. I go in the mornings and parking is ample (although the traffic getting in could be rough). They have baked goods available along with a pretty good selection of different cafe drinks that have hit most modern coffee shops. I've gotten a few drinks here and think they're all solid. For the iced matcha latte, I like how they are very upfront about the ceremonial grade of matcha that they use. I think it's solid, and they have both oat and almond milk options to choose from. Not too earthy and a little nutty at least to me. (I last paid around $7 for this.) For the yuzu matcha tonic, they use a tonic that isn't super carbonated and not overly sweet. You can also let them know to use less syrup which also helps to make this less sweet. For the cold brew latte, I think the coffee is pretty smooth and not too bitter. I also like the almond milk they use that it doesn't overpower the drink. (I last paid around $5.50 for this.) Pricing is pretty on average with the cafes around here. I haven't tried any of the pastries so can't comment on these selections, but they seemed pretty varied. Service is always super solid and helpful as well.

While most of the food hall businesses were not yet open for the day, Here & There was and is the first thing you see when you walk up. Staff was friendly, and I ordered the strawberry matcha as recommended. I also grabbed a delicious looking chocolate chip cookie. I generally like the idea of a strawberry matcha more than I end up liking the drink, but this was the first one I have LOVED! The strawberry part actually tastes like real strawberry, not syrup. It reminds me of the "agua de fresa con leche", if you like agua fresca. The matcha was also nice and not overpowered by the strawberry. This will be a repeat for me! The cookie was also a standout! Tons of chocolate and great balance with the flaky salt on top. Definitely try a cookie while you are here!
I was in the area and needed a caffeine fix. So glad Here & There had great Yelp reviews because Here & There was everything for me. Parking was super easy, love that it's up front, easy to spot and there is available seating of all sorts close by. My kouign amann and spanish latte both hit the spot. This lil spot is SO cute and has so many amazing options and just downright good quality coffee. I got the ube coffee and asked for quarter sweet which was perfect and my friend got the coffee matcha. I haven't tried their pastries yet but they always look so delicious. Here & There radiates cuteness. What a quaint coffee spot. The store itself sits snuggled among the other dozen businesses in Rodeo 39. The menu is compact & full of palate placating coffee options. The staff here works assiduously & maintains congeniality in customer interactions. I am very daft on the topic of coffee, & I sometimes strain to order coffee. Fortunately, my GF joined took me here, & she is very astute on the topic of coffee. She glanced at the menu & she ordered the Spanish Shakerato. I looked at the desc. on the menu, & I recognized the word "cinnamon." I don't know coffee, but I do know cinnamon. So I asked for a Spanish Whateverato too. The coffee came out promptly. I noticed the barista rendered surreal foam hearts in the foam on the coffee. Personally, I prefer an unadorned, smooth foam, but work of art foam is cool too. My favorite part of the experience was watching my GF drink her coffee. She sipped it, exhaled, & said the coffee tasted just fine. (I had to take her word for it because I only knew the cinnamon tasted good.) When she finished her cup, she smiled a wide sunshine bright, toothy smile. I was having pho in the same plaza so while my friends were waiting in line I was browsing the inside of this spot, and came across Here & There. I got the Nola with half sweet and it is one of their signature drinks. The drink is a cold brew with cane sugar and oat milk mixed in! Overall it has a nice taste and what I needed to start my day! This spot use to be Coffee Dose, but it looks like it had changed. Came here on a Monday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all. First time trying Here and There and ordered a Pistachio Matcha and it was tasty! The consistency/taste of matcha was really good, and you can taste the notes of pistachio. Def would recommend for those who love pistachio lattes and wonder what pistachio and matcha together tastes like. 10/10 recommend! :) read more

Came here for a quick bite before me and my daughter went to work. I love the vibe! Way more than the coffee place that used to be here, the aesthetic for that other place was very trashy. I ordered the pumpkin spice cold brew, it wasn't very flavorful unfortunately. My daughter ordered the strawberry milk with cold foam and she said it was tasty! I had a regular croissant which wasn't anything special, and she had a ham and cheese, which was not worth it. She had one thin slice of ham and once slice of cheese, that's wild for the price. The service was fast and friendly, but nothing spectacular here. read more

I don't frequent Rodeo 39 often at all but I saw that this new coffee shop replaced Coffee Dose so I had to try them out. Their menu looked quite interesting so I'm always a sucker to try flavors that you can't find anywhere else! Here's what I ordered: **Yuzu Espresso Tonic: I understand that yuzu is a very overpowering flavor but I should still be able to taste the espresso portion but I did not. Either the espresso prepared was very light or they put way too much yuzu flavoring inside. Don't bother ordering this unless you want a yuzu infused tonic water beverage. **NOLA: I honestly should have opted to go less sweet but since it was a signature item, I wanted to try it how normal people get it. I tasted little to no espresso and it was extremely sweet like a dessert beverage. I tasted the oat milk which was good but that was about it. I'm giving this spot 3-stars only because the girl working the front was great and my drinks came out fairly quickly. If you have a massive sweet tooth you may like this place but if you're a coffee enthusiast that isn't looking for a dessert beverage then this place is not for you. read more

New spot in Rodeo 39. I came to try the matcha! I tried the Double Matcha and the Lavender Matcha Latte. I enjoyed the Lavender Matcha but I wish there was a stronger lavender and matcha flavor. I would skip on the Double Matcha. The foam didn't have much of a matcha flavor and matcha itself was ok too. Overall, has good potential but wish the drinks had a stronger matcha taste. I saw some whisks but it seemed like they just poured out premade matcha. I'm not sure if that's why I felt like the matcha wasn't what I wanted it to taste like...? read more

I always enjoy grabbing a drink here, when I come to eat at Rodeo 39: the matcha was perfect and they customize it to your liking (but there might be an up charge- you have been warned). Parking is way easier than Anaheim Packing House and the coffee shop is right in front! The customer service was great and the ambiance is cute. I have never tried any of their pastries, though! You can't miss Here and There since their shop is right in front of the plaza. They have lots of pastries and drink options to choose from. I ordered the Vienna espresso, which was sweet and flavorful. My friend got the Yuzu tonic, and it was super strong. If you need a serious caffeine boost, that's the drink for you, but if you're not into bold flavors, I wouldn't recommend it. The lady taking our order mentioned that it has four espresso shots and made sure my friend was okay with that before finalizing, which was thoughtful. If you're looking for a quick and early coffee stop, this is a great spot. I'll definitely be back to try more drinks! read more
I happened to be at Rodeo 39 waiting for a friend and decided to get a drink out of convenience since I was already here so I had no expectations. I ended up trying the strawberry matcha latte. I couldn't decide between the pistachio latte or the ube matcha but the cashier convinced me to get the strawberry matcha since she said it was their most popular drink. I actually really liked it because it's made with a strawberry purée which gave it a fresh sweetness (not too sweet). The matcha was good too, I believe they use ceremonial grade matcha. It did not taste watery at all which is my biggest pet peeve with matcha lattes. Overall, happy with my choice and love the convenience of it being at Rodeo 39. The only thing that I would've liked more is if they offered some sort of cream foam on top (either a strawberry or matcha foam would've been awesome). read more

What a happy find! We were looking for a nearby coffee shop a few days ago while out and getting gas. We noticed that Coffee Dose was permanently closed at this location and that this coffee shop took its place. I wasn't in the mood to go there because Rodeo 39 is usually hard to park at, but I forgot that that wasn't even 9:00 yet and a lot of the businesses were not open. We walked up and low and behold was one of our favorite coffee shop owners, who keeps creating great coffee businesses and running off to make more. We were so happy to see him! I am not giving the coffee shop a five star just because he was there. I had such a delicious iced lavender matcha latte and now I want another. The quality of the drinks were so good. Steven kept commenting also that his iced vanilla latte was really good as well. We are hoping this one sticks around. This is the third coffee shop at this location in Rodeo 39. One of the gentlemen sitting nearby with his dog commented that this was the best one there so far in his opinion. I have to agree. We also got churro waffles and they were very good as well! The NOLA tastes amazing. You can still taste the coffee. It defaults to oat milk and cannot be subbed with a different milk, but I didn't even taste a strong oat flavor. That drink is 5/5. It's very close to Blue Bottle's NOLA in taste. However, my #1 fave is still the iced latte NOLA from Blue Flame in HB. The service from the cashier was very nice. He recommended the NOLA and the ube matcha. He was patient, kind, and knowledgeable. The ube portion in the matcha reminded me of DaVien. I tasted the matcha on top before mixing it, and it had a nice strong matcha flavor. (I keep trying to like matcha, but I'm still partial to coffee drinks.) The atmosphere inside Rodeo39 is nice. You can get food at any of the eateries and come back to the front tables and grab some coffee as well. Price is a little steep, but they literally make the matcha using the whisk, ceramic bowl, etc. They took over the Coffee Dose location. They call your name when the order is ready, so I wish the girl who was doing that was a bit friendlier and made eye contact with you and said something nice at that point of contact, especially since it wasn't even that busy. I saw the customer who was before me ask if those were his drinks, and she was oblivious to him even asking because she wasn't making eye contact. read more

Double Matcha was 10/10 I was pleasantly surprised!! I stopped by spontaneously as I was exploring Rodeo 39 and got the double matcha latte! The matcha not too sweet and not too bitter! I'd definitely come back for it! The staff was nice and I got my drink rather quickly! The store is an indoor outdoor vibe & is the first thing you see when going into Rodeo 39! They had lots of seating too, so it's a great spot to chat with friends! read more

I got lavendar and pistachio matcha and they were both really good. The matcha was not watered down. I prefer the lavendar over the pistachio though. Tbe pistachio was more earthy. . Service was friendly and fast. You cant tell which is which when you look at it so they add a P to differentiate between the 2 matchas. You're brewtiful The strawberry in the strawberry matcha was yummy- sweet and perfectly balanced with the matcha. I also tried the cherry tomato pastry, and it was good - would be even better if it was air fried because them toasting it just made the middle soggy. As for the Spanish Shakerato, it was okay; the strong cinnamon/nutmeg flavor was too overpowering for my taste. Total for three items was about $20. read more

Located inside Rodeo 39 near the front entrance. There's plenty of seating at the coffee bar, as well as tables indoors or outdoors. The open space is nice with lots of natural lighting. There's many other restaurants and shops nearby and free parking inside the plaza. The staff were quite friendly and loved the variety of coffee and matcha options. Got an iced vanilla latte with almond milk and it was refreshing and delicious. Coffee was smooth and rich with the vanilla not being overpoweringly sweet. Can't wait to come back to try some of the other drink offerings! read more
