What a happy find! We were looking for a nearby coffee shop a few days ago while out and getting gas. We noticed that Coffee Dose was permanently closed at this location and that this coffee shop took its place. I wasn't in the mood to go there because Rodeo 39 is usually hard to park at, but I forgot that that wasn't even 9:00 yet and a lot of the businesses were not open. We walked up and low and behold was one of our favorite coffee shop owners, who keeps creating great coffee businesses and running off to make more. We were so happy to see him! I am not giving the coffee shop a five star just because he was there. I had such a delicious iced lavender matcha latte and now I want another. The quality of the drinks were so good. Steven kept commenting also that his iced vanilla latte was really good as well. We are hoping this one sticks around. This is the third coffee shop at this location in Rodeo 39. One of the gentlemen sitting nearby with his dog commented that this was the best one there so far in his opinion. I have to agree. We also got churro waffles and they were very good as well! Double Matcha was 10/10 I was pleasantly surprised!! I stopped by spontaneously as I was exploring Rodeo 39 and got the double matcha latte! The matcha not too sweet and not too bitter! I happened to be at Rodeo 39 waiting for a friend and decided to get a drink out of convenience since I was already here so I had no expectations. I ended up trying the strawberry matcha latte. I couldn't decide between the pistachio latte or the ube matcha but the cashier convinced me to get the strawberry matcha since she said it was their most popular drink. I actually really liked it because it's made with a strawberry purée which gave it a fresh sweetness (not too sweet). The matcha was good too, I believe they use ceremonial grade matcha. It did not taste watery at all which is my biggest pet peeve with matcha lattes. Overall, happy with my choice and love the convenience of it being at Rodeo 39. The only thing that I would've liked more is if they offered some sort of cream foam on top (either a strawberry or matcha foam would've been awesome). read more

I also tried the cherry tomato pastry, and it was good - would be even better if it was air fried because them toasting it just made the middle soggy. A brand new coffee spot has just soft opened at Rodeo39 and they are serving up great coffee. They are located right at the front of Rodeo39 replacing Coffee Dose which closed earlier this year. Their space is bright and open and full of seating after you get your drink. The staff were friendly and service was fast. I had my drink ready in a few minutes. They also have pastries to buy which you can see on the counter and they also sell coffee beans on the side. I went for their ube matcha latte since I'm a huge fan of matcha and it was delicious! They use ceremonial grade matcha and it blended perfectly with their ube for a balance of sweetness and bitterness. They also have other signature drinks like the Spanish shakerato & pistacho matcha which I will be trying the next time I stop by. As a side note, their drinks are on the more expensive side with most starting at $6.50 and going up to $7.50 This is a great new addition to Rodeo39 and I can't wait to come back soon to try their other drinks and pastries! read more

Came on grand opening day to take advantage of the 50% off drinks! Luckily it wasn't too busy when I arrived so I didn't have to wait too long, but the parking situation is pretty tough at Rodeo 39. The location is nice though as it is located in the front so it's hard to miss. The open concept of the cafe creates a welcoming environment with plenty of seating. The worker taking my order was super nice. When drinks are ready, I noticed that they would call out the names for some but not for others. I only knew my order was ready because the group that ordered ahead of me had just picked up their drinks, and they put a receipt that has your name on it under the cup. They had a live DJ playing for their grand opening though so I understand that it was probably hard to call out the names. I saw good reviews about the ube matcha latte so I decided to order it. The ube is sweet, nutty, and definitely more prominent than the matcha. I couldn't taste the matcha unfortunately, so it felt like I was drinking an ube milk tea.
