This is my favorite coffee spot. That's saying a lot, because there's sooooo much competition in Cerritos/Artesia. You walk two steps, and there's another coffee shop or bakery. This place just does it right. From the coffee, to the baked goods, to the packaging (I love me an adult sippy cup ), it's just consistent and delicious. Don't ever change
Every time I visit Smoking Tiger Bread Factory it is a good visit. Plenty of seating, pastries, and good drink options. I had a tiger latte with whole milk and enjoyed it thoroughly. Perfect pick me up to complete a workday. The pastry was also delicious, a nice chocolate-marshmallow- Hershey's pastry. The staff is always relaxed and kind. I appreciate that as they don't make it stressful to order or try new things out.
This cafe has good wraps, okay pastries, along with wifi, outlets, decent sized tables, and bathrooms. I had forgotten why I hadn't come here to study in over a year, but when I visited again a few days ago, I quickly remembered it gets way too packed, and there were no seats available. It's a good place to study, but unless you come in the morning, your chances of finding a seat are pretty slim.
This place is just as hip as its name, and both the bread and coffee are amazing!! It's the perfect spot whether you want to get some studying done or just catch up with friends. Delicious coffee, fresh bread, and a blast of AC--this is literally paradise.Every time I come here, I'm reminded of how friendly the staff always is--makes me love this place even more! There are so many options in here. I came in around 930am. I was intrigued by the scones and croissant variations. But with all that said I've been wanting a garlic cream cheese bread and it did not disappoint. They warmed it up for me and they do buzzers when your order is ready. I love the indoor seating area with plants. Plenty of outdoor seating too. Next time ill try a mini cake they advertise. They post a calendar with specials by the cashier.

Big open space that is definitely geared towards people who need to work. Think Starbucks...but with better coffee and even better eats Garlic cream cheese is always fire, and I got to try the Corn Coffee this time. Delicious. If you've had corn snacks or corn ice cream before, that's the flavor profile. Overall, if I'm in the area, it is definitely somewhere I'd like to stop in. Great coffee and pastries with some very nice servers!

I got their Smoking Spaniard, two mochi like bread one in the shape of a corn and another of a sweet potato and this garlic cream cheese bread that someone in line suggested. Now I forgot how roomy this place is, It's super clean and a great place for a quiet hang out with friends. It was pretty busy when I came which was around 10 am. The drinks were the most ordered from what I've seen. I ordered my drink and it was actually prepared already but my buzzer never rang. I watched what I thought would be my coffee stay there thinking it may be someone else because my buzzer had no buzzed at all. I finally went up to ask where my coffee is just for them to hand me the coffee and say they are waiting on my bread. What bread? It's literally in the bag that I'm holding. So that kind of annoyed me. But things happen. Service was still good like last time. The garlic and cream cheese bread threw me off. The saltiness of the garlic bread with sweet cream cheese worked really well. However there was a bit too much sweet cream cheese for my liking but a combination that worked. The mochi corn had custard and corn. It was pretty good. Not something I'd be addicted to. But it was good. The sweet potato was disappointing. The sweet potato inside tasted like regular potato. Not very sweet. Overall my experience did get better. I want to try these butter mochi I saw next time I go.
Super stylish smoking tiger cafe, they have ample baked goods infront along with ample tables so a perf place to work and study at. I tried their oreo sconkie, very unique bake with it being a cross between a scone and cookie. super sweet and crumbly, loved it. Granted their baked goods can be a bit pricy but their all very unique. One of my fav smoking tiger locations thus far
Food: carrot cake nice flavor and moist a winner in my book, Blueberry cheesecake wow super good another winner.Cream cheese garlic bread soft and very flavorful , mochi pie although ok not bad also. Service: really good Ambiance: was also really good loud Will come back to try other pastries and food washed it down with coffee. Tip: if you like popcorn taste drink go for the ( corn tea) nasty for me.
My friend recommended this spot, and it definitely did not disappoint! We came on a Saturday late morning, and it was pretty busy, which is always a good sign. Luckily, parking was easy, and there was plenty of seating inside. The vibe is super cute--part coffee shop, part bakery--and it's the kind of place where you can easily sit and hang out for a while. We ordered the Smoking Spaniard, Tiger Latte, an ube scone, ham and cheese croissant, and a butter croissant. The Smoking Spaniard was probably my favorite drink! I'd give it an 8/10. It wasn't too strong and had just the right amount of sweetness for my liking. At around $6, I thought the price point was pretty reasonable too. But honestly, the UBE SCONE with white chocolate was the winner for me! It was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, and the combination of the ube and white chocolate was sooo good. At $5, I would absolutely order it again. Overall, a really cute spot with good coffee, delicious pastries, easy parking, and plenty of seating. Definitely glad my friend put me on to this place--I'll be back!
Service from the male cashier was great, the pastries and mochi was tasty, but the "dark roast" double shot americano was pulled from an old shot. I chose a 16oz Blue House americano. As a ex Italian barista, this was pulled from a previously used and dead shot. The color and even the flavor did not even resemble a Brazilian/Sumatra blend. Unacceptable, disgusting, and just a plain waste of my time and money. Shame on the women baristas there who were working the machines to do this. I wanted to give this place a try while I was in the area since we have one in Garden Grove. Unfortunately that was a mistake, but fortunately I know not to visit the GG one also.

Smoking Tiger is worth visiting for the banana milk latte alone. That drink is what brought us in, and it absolutely delivered--it tastes just like banana pudding and is incredibly well done. The self-serve pastry and sandwich selection also looked fresh and tempting, with plenty of variety to choose from. Service can take a bit depending on timing, but the option to order ahead online makes it easy to plan around. A must-try if you're into unique coffee drinks--we'll definitely be back.

I love visiting this place. Not sure if it's the nostalgia or just the great options to choose from whether you want a cool pick me up or hungry for a savory pastry. Most recently we visited on 10/2 for the debut of their new salt bread line and matcha line! Got to try 5 new flavors of salt bread and boy were they yummy. It was just me and my husband so we were tempted to buy more but we could only eat so much bread in a day ahhahaa We got the double matcha strawberry and it was refreshing. You could tell they use fresh strawberries to make their puree and it was the perfect balance with their matcha- finished it so fast should've gotten 2 Came back on 10/4 (2 days later) bc I couldn't stop thinking about the salt bread and wanted to try more flavors... my husband was like again?? Lol. Got the double strawberry matcha, 4 pastries, and the kimchi tuna melt. Take all my money hahaha Irene helped us out and she was soo friendly and nice!! She brought out our sandwich to us and we heard her greet everyone who walked in the Cafe. Will be back soooon!! Check out their new bread and drink options, you won't be disappointed read more
FALL 2026 seasonals tip: get the Pear milk tea full sweet. The pear flavor is not very detectable half sweet and is subtle but delightful full sweet. I really want to try the Pear San Blanc, since I gifted that and the Misugaru. Ordered ahead on a weekday, and they had my drinks ready just before my scheduled pick up time. Althey remembered the free sticker with seasonal drink purchase :)). Around 2pm on a Wed, there were quite a few people inside, but there were seats left. Will surely be back :) read more
This place has quite creative and fun bakery items, as well as cafe/food/lunch choices. It's conveniently located in the corner of a shopping center/upscale strip mall and it's nicely decorated inside and seems like a very comfortable place to sit and hang out. Service is friendly, and all the food items we've tried have been good to excellent. We've tried sandwiches, salads, and many bakery items. While I'm personally not the biggest fan of the garlic cream cheese bun (it tastes good, just a little rich), my wife likes it a lot. The chocolate chip scone/muffin top was really good and the pumpkin mochi was something you don't find very often and was not too sweet, but still flavorful. We've always just picked things up to go because we're always visiting from out of town and picking things up to eat for breakfast the next day or as a quick bite on the way to see family or friends. But I always notice how happy and relaxed the customers look hanging out here, and I'd love to do that sometime and try one of their coffee drinks. Next visit! read more

Absolutely love this place! Stop by here after a Pilates class with my mom and I'm so glad we stumbled upon it. The atmosphere is so calm and welcoming, it is definitely a place you can come to work, do homework and get things done. There were a lot of in-home bakery options and they all smelled so good. We grabbed a few things to take home and so far each item has been amazing. When we received our Matcha, the girl asked us if we wanted to make any accommodations to the drinks, which is something new because no other place has asked us this before. Prior to making the Matcha drinks there was no issue with my mom asking if she can have half of the Matcha that they add. Again, this was something other places have not accommodated her for. Overall, all the bakery items were fresh and delicious. Each item has so much flavor! I would definitely come back and recommend to anyone looking to grab a Matcha and some bakery items. read more
Great local spot for pastries, drinks, and sandwiches. The ambiance inside is such a plus, perfect for studying or just chilling to enjoy your food if you're not in a rush. The staff are always very friendly and keep the inside clean and tidy. As for the food, their sconkies are to DIE FOR! The Oreo sconkie is one of my all time favorite sweet treats. Also love their mochi, especially the pumpkin when they have it. This is one of those places I love trying something new every time I go because everything is so tasty and high quality. There are some unique and different pastries here at Smoking Tiger that you don't find at other pastry places. The different scones are a nice selection like matcha, ube, blueberry, Earl Grey, etc. and their sconkies are pretty good. One of my fave is the unique kimchee spam n cheese croissant and I also like the Kouign Aman but it always seem to be out. My least fave is probably the garlic cream cheese croissant as it just has way too much cheese in it but yea I can just scoop some out. The matcha drinks are pretty good here along with their coffee drinks. I enjoy the banana latte drink. There always seems to be a lot digital nomads working in the place whenever I visit as I see many laptops out. read more

I love coming to this spot in the morning -- it always smells amazing inside and they have a really nice selection of pastries. I always eye their cheesecake but haven't quite pulled the trigger on it yet. My go-to drink is either the Pineapple Express (jasmine tea with pineapple concentrate) or the Tiger Latte -- both are really solid options. The staff is super cool and the drinks come out quickly, which is always a plus. Their pastries are also really delicious and pair perfectly with the drinks. Just a really cozy, reliable place to start the day. read more

I really wanted to try their Dubai Chocolate Cookie and it did not disappoint. It was super yummy and had to try their drinks. We came around 2PM in the afternoon and there were some pastries left. There is tons of space to sit and seems like a nice place to study or meet with friends. Definitely would come back again and try more of their baked goods. read more

Tried Smoking tiger for the first time years ago in Fullerton while going to college in the area. When I heard of them coming to Cerritos I was so excited. Come here often to do work, lots of space but it gets packed. Strawberry matcha is always amazing, honestly all of their drinks are great. And especially their breads and pastries. So good, great atmosphere, and kind staff. read more
I was super excited to check out Smoking Tiger Bread Factory after trying their San Gabriel Coffee Lab on a previous trip down to SoCal. The Coffee Labs carry some pastries but nowhere near the selection of what they offer at the Bread Factory. We got a huge box of pastries including the spam musubi croissants, salt breads, and garlic cream cheese bread. Everything was delicious, especially once warmed up. The musubi croissants would be my top recommendation here! The fish roe salt bread had a little too much fish roe for my taste, since I wasn't expecting the inside to also be filled with roe. They also have a wide selection of sweet pastries, madeleines and cakes, but I am more of a savory person so we didn't try those. I also ordered the apple cider matcha which was surprisingly delicious and perfect for fall! read more

Nice little spot for pastries. It feels like an elevated 85 degrees bakery! lol. Servers were polite and very nice. Drinks are a little pricey , but with today's economy, aren't they all? I love how they have different and unique pastries ! This place gets busy and I see why. read more
Wow stumbled on this place while visiting sprouts the other day.....so today after the movies we decided to stop by. Wow the vibe here is nice, welcomed as we walked in.... Lots to see, cold soft drinks to the left, to the right cute merch and in the middle plenty of pastries. Lots of seating and out door seating. We really enjoyed it here.... Thanks!!! read more
Came in around 2ish so there was less pastries to choose from but still had a lot of options, really like their cookies. We also tried their tiger latte but still want to go back to try their banana latte and other pastries. Service was really friendly and helpful it being our first time. I really enjoyed this place. We arrived an hour prior to closing and it was still pretty busy. We all ordered a drink and grabbed a pastry. We found an empty table and waited for our orders. I ordered the seasonal peach latte and it was delicious. Make sure to stir it well so that the peach flavoring that is sitting at the bottom mixes well. My cousin had an iced chai and it was delcious. We grabbed a cheesecake to go and it was pretty good as it was not too sweet. The baristas were all friendly as they greeted us and thanked us for stopping by as we left. Wish we had this place in AZ! read more

I probably stop by here more than I should, but the pastries here are just super good! They are always freshly made and have such a unique twist to them. I also love the modern aesthetics of the place, and just how spacious it is. It is definitely a good place to work/study as there are plenty of tables both inside and out to work at. The lines sometimes do get quite long, but it always moves by pretty quickly! From the looks of it, they do rotate some of their bread selections, but I feel whenever I go they always have a consistent few that I always see. If you dine in, they do offer to heat your pastries for you, so that is also a super nice touch. You honestly can't go wrong with any of their pastries. They have a wide selection from cookies, and scones to croissants and breads. Some of the pastries have a bigger twist than others, but for the most part I think they do well to make sure the unique twist compliments the pastries. I really love their croissant and spam masubi cross overs- the one with the kimchi and the one with the jalapeños are my favorite. I love how the saltiness of the spam compliments the crispy and flaky croissant. read more

Yes, but only a select few. The Mochi Pie is gluten free and dairy free. The big cakes are gluten…
Are they pet friendly?
I've seen a service dog inside once, but I don't believe any other pet is allowed. They do have outdoor patio seating, and I've seen multiple people bring their pets next to them outside--leashed of course. Hope this helps!
