Mission accomplished: matcha cravings satisfied!! We swung by 8 Symphony Coffee for my favorite kind of happiness, ceremonial-grade matcha!! The place was buzzing, but since our order was to-go, we were in and out without much of a wait. Big shoutout to Aron for being friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Customer service like that deserves an extra sprinkle of matcha powder!!! Thank you very matcha!! Then came the first sip. Boom!!!! That ceremonial-grade matcha delivered exactly what it should: bold, earthy, nutty, and gloriously green. No weak, sad matcha pretending to be something it's not. This was the real deal!!! Overall, a great experience and definitely a spot I'll keep coming back to whenever I'm in the area. Finding legit ceremonial-grade matcha isn't always easy, but 8 Symphony Coffee understood the assignment.
I love places that care about how they present their food and drinks. This is one of those places. I didn't get to take a photo of the ladyfinger that comes with the iced tiramisu latte, because it was so good that I chomped it down in 10 seconds. My drink had a cloud cream top and the drink was delicious to the last drop. I've had the chorizo & egg croissant, not my fave. But their chocolate croissant and their bacon cheddar scone was perfect! I've come back a total of three times now, and I live in the west San Fernando Valley for reference. Lucky for me, it's near my sister's house. The service is great, they have ample seating and a good amount of parking. You can work or study here. They also have merch!
Great atmosphere, with good seating, clean and chill music to listen to. Not too loud if you're working or studying. The employees are friendly and ask your opinion of the drinks. We didn't get any food but the display was clean, well maintained and picture perfect. We did order an iced espresso ($4) which my hubby gave a 7.8 and says the price is worth it. I got the strawberry matcha ($7 and comes with oat milk) and I would order it again. Not super sweet and the matcha is great. Not grainy or too earthy. The strawberry puree is really the only sweetener, so that's why it not super sweet. A suggestion is to make a pineapple matcha. I had one the other day and it was bomb! Made with coconut milk. So like a matcha pina colada. Mmmm

This is a really great coffee spot. It's spacious, and service was great. There are some tables and chairs to sit and chat with friends. We ordered the Blueberry Matcha Latte and Tiramisu Cloud Latte. Both drinks were really good.
Very clean modern coffee shop. There was plenty of parking. The inside had a good amount of seating but it was still pretty full on a Saturday afternoon. Looked like a good place to study or get work done. They have a decent variety of drinks along with pastries. Got a regular matcha latte and a biscoff latte with foam, was very good
My girlfriend has been raving about this newer spot, so I finally gave it a try--best decision ever. The interior is a great size with a super cute aesthetic. There's plenty of seating with a mix of table options, making it perfect whether you're coming solo or with a group. They even have a cute little water dispenser, which I loved. Only downside was restroom was a little dirty and no toilet paper Service was friendly and informative, which always makes a difference. I ordered an iced matcha with oat milk and one pump of sugar-free vanilla, and it was made to perfection. I'm trying not to chug it, but it's that good. They also had a selection of pastries that looked really tempting. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to.
While in the area, I visited 8th Symphony and picked up a Tiramisu Cloud Latte and a Blueberry Matcha Latte. Both drinks were delicious and I enjoyed that I was able to pick my milk of choice at no additional charge. I also loved the detail of the Ladyfinger given for the Tiramisu. Atmosphere was bright and a good amount of people were working or studying and it was extremely quiet. Bathroom was clean and fresh. Great place to try out if you love coffee and teas!
Hands down the best coffee spot in the Cerritos area They have the Nami Matcha, which is SO good--definitely a standout. The ambiance is amazing too, super relaxing with great music always playing in the background. It's the perfect place to study, work, or just unwind. They also have a solid selection of food and drinks, and the guava refresher is a MUST try Highly recommend checking this place out if you're nearby!
I am not from Cerritos so i am going off of the other comparable coffee shop I have tried. Went to Holos Coffee yesterday to study and have to be in the area for several hours today for the same, and wanted to try another coffee place. This is also in a strip mall. At 10:30 it is still pretty empty but still enough parties here (approx 6) --to take up basically all the available outlets that I can see here, which runs counter to what another reviewer said about this place having soooo many outlets for laptops. Ordered a hot mocha ganache and it automatically comes in the lidded plastic cup so no differentiation between drinking here or to go, depending on whether you like that or not. Where I had to get a jacket from the car at the other place, it's a little warm in here, which is fine by me, depending on when they decide to the ac on (once it got warm i noticed they turned up ac). The space is bigger so while there appear to be fewer seating areas, you have a little more personal space than at Holos, which I can appreciate. Someone remarked that they couldnt study with the music but while both have the same kind of music, I don't have people yapping right night to my ears, so it's not as distracting at 8th. I know you can't totally tune out everything but I definitely don't want to hear people's conversations crystal clear as I can at holos. Here you have more space. I can put my arm out and not necessarily be able to punch someone lol Aesthetically, this place has more to offer with the windows giving more natural light overall than only simply affecting those sitting closest to the windows. Given the square footage here compared to the other, sound flows better so that you can focus better than where you can hear every damn thing in a smaller space. As for the coffee between both places so far from each of the drinks I've tried they're comparable in taste so I could go either way. Both good options but I would go with 8th if you want more space and/or have a group, come earlier and there should be a spot to accommodate larger parties with more certainty compared to it being more packed at this time at Holos. Planned on waiting for the laptop camper next to me to leave so I can hijack his outlet but this chick swooped out from across the room and jacked the spot before I could slide the 1 foot over to sit there so I guess it's a commodity here for the 6 outlets or so they have. I guess you gotta be prepared to start planting your stuff before the person is even done.
To be completely honest, I came to this coffee shop for two reasons: 1) they proudly serve Nami Matcha which I've been dying to try based on their reviews and 2) they are a Filipino-owned small business. What better way to support than to come and try their drinks. The shop is located in a relatively large plaza with accessible parking spaces in front. The shop itself was well maintained, clean, and aesthetically pleasing with bright lights and couch or chair options available for customers. The service provided was okay, served us with the appropriate amount of customer service required to take our orders. The coffee and matcha drinks were good, a little on the stronger side of espresso, with not as much sweetness (depending on what you prefer). Overall, I was slightly disappointed with the customer service and creativity in the drinks ~ however, if I'm ever in the area I may want to try it again.
First time here. The place is very clean and nice. The staff is very friendly. Omg the drinks are so good! We will be back !
we decided to try out 8th symphony and was unfortunately disappointed. the inside and staff were wonderful, but we came here for drinks. we got the tiramisu cloud latte since it is one is one of their signatures and the strawberry matcha latte, my go to order. the tiramisu cloud latte was nice, but it is not 8$ nice. it comes with a little lady finger which is pretty cute. i was most excited about the strawberry matcha latte since it is my usual order. but over here, the strawberry matcha latte was too watery, thin, and just tasted like sweet water. i did not taste any matcha or berry flavor. maybe i came on an off day, but the one item i was really looking forward to disappointed me. i think the strawberry matcha possibly deserves another chance ?? but am hesitant since i see soooo many other reviews that characterize their drinks as watered down.

I visited 8th Symphony Coffee today as part of my mission to find the best sugar‑free latte while cutting out sugary drinks from my diet. I placed a mobile order, and the process was smooth I received text updates when my order was confirmed and again when it was ready for pickup. The sugar‑free latte was impressive, definitely an 8/10. It was delicious with just a slight aftertaste, which is pretty common for sugar‑free drinks. I've had a few from other spots without that aftertaste, but overall this one was still very enjoyable. My husband ordered his usual hot drip coffee, which we always do when trying new locations so we can compare both iced and hot options. We're still searching for a place that truly satisfies his drip‑coffee cravings this one wasn't quite the winner for him. The staff was friendly, and the café has a good amount of seating, though most tables were taken during our visit. Very quiet and pleasant. Parking was also completely full, so be prepared for a busy lot if you stop by during peak hours. read more

Got the "MOCHA GANACHE" so id expect it to be chocolatey and rich... No.. It tasted like a watery chocolate milk with a splash of burnt coffee. Extremely disappointed as the coffees on here sound good. Wofe got the tiramisu cloud latte...and her tasted like...slightly flavored water... -_- Guess ill still have to stick to 7leaves for now... We were having lunch nearby and stepped into 8th Symphony Coffee because my friends wanted to try @yourmomashley's Nami Matcha, which this café proudly serves (and sells here for $42 a tin). The space itself is bright, open, and clean design and a variety of seating options (we opted for the cozy couch area). Unfortunately, the drinks were a huge letdown. I ordered the Double Matcha with whole milk. It was super creamy but really sweet, with almost no actual matcha flavor. It was green, sure, but tasted more like a dessert than a matcha drink. My friend's hojicha latte was just as disappointing. It didn't taste like hojicha at all, more like a watered-down sweet milk drink with a faint, vague earthy aftertaste, but nothing distinctly hojicha. My other friend ordered an iced matcha latte, which tasted the most matcha-forward of the three, but still wasn't a good matcha. I also ordered a cold brew to-go and while it was good, I definitely think it was on the sweeter side. Disappointing experience, another influencer smokescreen cracked. read more
Loved the friendly service, ample parking, and the beautifully decorated interior of this shop. Contrary to the exterior appearance, it's bright and airy inside with lots of seating options. I particularly enjoyed the basque cheesecake! Not too sweet, airy, and just the right amount of bitterness. The strawberry matcha was also not too sweet and complimented my cake perfectly. I think I would want to get them with slightly more sweetness added to it the next time. I also didn't taste or smell much strawberry. Otherwise it was perfect. I was looking for a spot to grab a latte and Yelp took my here and it didn't disappoint. Ordered the strawberry shortcake matcha, blueberry matcha, and strawberry milk - all were a hit! The blueberry and strawberry purees in the respective drinks were delicious and added just the right amount of sweetness to the drinks. I enjoyed the Strawberry cream topped in the strawberry shortcake matcha. In addition to beverages, they offer pastries as well. Friendly, quick service. Good amount of tables to enjoy your items. went here after running and I've been wanting to come here because of their drink selections. I got their biscoff latte because I loveeeee biscoff. Saturday morning was quite busy because they collaborate with a run club. Expect longer longer wait time, but you can save time by ordering online. There's plenty of parking in the plaza. There are couple seats as well. It's a very cozy place to work or study. personally, I love their aesthetic and decorations. They also sell some cute merch. read more

I was in the area visiting my brother and stopped by here on my way home. The interior is cute. It makes you feel welcomed and want to stay to do some work. The barista was very friendly and welcoming. I was greeted right as I walked in and instantly felt valued. I love it. At other coffee shops, sometimes I don't even get a hello. Service 5/5. However, for the drink, I got a standard matcha latte with oat milk (as is) with simple syrup. I think I prefer whole milk rather than oat milk, but I wanted to try the drink in its natural form. As a result, the latte tasted average, 3/5. I parked in a different lot, but parking is really easy. No difficulties. Overall, I would say 4/5. Whenever I'm in the area visiting, I'll try the latte again with whole milk and see how it goes. read more
Good parking with a bold espresso? Ooh this is definitely a hidden gem tucked away in a large plaza! I had their iced latte, and after ordering was delighted to find a spot at a nearby table. Service was friendly, and the atmosphere is clean! And when I say clean, I mean sparkly clean and comfortable to work in - with headphones. The music is definitely interesting; imagine studying and hearing some *explicit* music - yup definitely raised an eyebrow! But other than that, it was a productive time. Parking is tight, but this is an excellent place to work or study because it's super quiet inside. The Tiramisu Cloud Latte and Blueberry Matcha Latte were both tasty & refreshing. Got a matcha latte with whole milk and it tasted like water? Not even milky and no taste of matcha. I would not recommend getting their matcha here, it's pricey and basically tastes like nothing. read more
I came up from SD and decided to try this place since I was in the area. Me and bestie got the matcha strawberry shortcake (both have oat milk). The color of the matcha was so vibrant and had a smooth, strong flavor. The strawberry shortcake cream top was light and not overpowering. We also tried the biscoff cheesecake and it was so good. One thing, though, is the base of the cheesecake was hard but everything else was very delicious. The inside was very simple and clean, great for studying. I'm excited to try more of their menu when I come back! read more

The Iced Matcha Latte was so good! I got an Iced Matcha Latte with Oat Milk. The matcha in the Matcha Latte is a good balance of sweet and bitter. It's very enjoyable! The latte was a bit frothy at the top, but I'm assuming it's because the matcha was made the traditional way. The cafe is very big and clean. There's plenty of seating, and a good amount of people use the cafe as a study spot. Some of the tables have an extension for your drink which is so nice because you can use the whole table for your schoolwork or laptop. The employees are very kind and helpful! They were very patient when I wanted to look at the menu because this was my first time here! My drink also came out very quickly. I would come here again, and I would definitely come here to study! There's a lot of interesting drinks on the menu that I want to try, the employees are kind and patient, and there's tons of seating and tables. read more
Ah! I really wanted to love this place. I ordered two different drinks. The vanilla latte was good and creamy. My only let down is that I saw that the shop doesn't have house made syrups! That was such a bummer because it seems like they use nami matcha! The matcha seemed water downed even though I got it with oat milk. I know that if they made house made syrups, the drinks can even be better! Overall, the place was okay. Loved how there was a lot of seats and space to enjoy the drinks and study. read more

I honestly believe that I have had my first flawless experience at a coffee shop. When I walked into 8th Symphony I immediate felt comfortable. There was no confusion as to where to start. The smiles felt genuine and the service didn't feel forced. The vibe inside overall was pretty standard as far as ambience goes. I feel most coffee shops now days have the same minimalistic style inside. The coffee was amazing, it was smooth and there wasn't any type of crazy aftertaste. Overall, I highly recommend it. read more
The space itself is really nice. It is very spacious with lots of different seating options, plenty of outlets, and solid WiFi. It is comfortable, cute, and a great place to study or hang out for a while. The space is definitely the highlight and a big reason I would consider coming back. Unfortunately, the drinks were a disappointment for me. I tried the matcha cloud latte and the strawberry matcha latte. The matcha cloud latte mostly tasted like milk. The foam was decent, but I have definitely had better matcha foam elsewhere. The strawberry matcha latte was not good at all. It tasted like strawberry water and was very thin with almost no matcha flavor. I did not try any of the coffee, so I might give that a try next time. Yummy drinks with cute desserts. Ordered a matcha cream top as a post-lunch drink, and I liked that it came as a double matcha. Strong matcha flavor in every sip, and tbh it kind of tasted like liquified matcha ice cream, haha. I approve of 8th Symphony Coffee! read more
I ordered a regular matcha latte with oat milk however, I was a little disappointed with my drink. It tasted mostly like milk. Mine was a lot lighter in color compared to others so I asked someone what they got and they ordered the Matcha Cloud. So if you like matcha, I would recommend the cloud, not the regular one. The regular is a lot lighter in color and for $1 more you can add an extra gram of matcha which is totally affordable and worth the additional price. They just recently started serving Nami Matcha a few weeks after I had gone, which is super exciting. I actually purchase that matcha for myself for at home, I specifically like the Yame First Harvest. It's nutty in flavor and super delicious so if you get a Nami matcha latte from here, it's a safe bet. Sometimes I feel like it's a gamble paying $7-8 for a matcha, not knowing how it's going to taste. Parking can be really hard to find at this location. I came on a Sunday afternoon and after finding parking and ordering my drink it was also hard to find seating inside so just keep that mind depending on what day/time you go. read more

I got the tiramisu cloud and it just tasted like watered milk, no sugar what so ever and just a tiny earthy taste resembling coffee. I was soo disappointed as the coffee shop was cute and I loved the lady finger that came with it. Definitely would not come back or recommend. read more

Place it's so comfy, welcoming and aesthetically appealing. Home kind of feel. The ambiance is calming. I had the strawberry matcha and Biscoff cheesecake. The cheesecake is a must have!!! Will be back again. read more
One of my new favorite coffee shops in town. The biscoff latte is my favorite coffee here so far. We also got the tiramisu latte and the matcha and they were delicious. The biscoff latte comes with a cream top and crumbled biscoff cookies. The Tiramisu comes with a creamy tiramisu topping and a lady finger to dip. The service is nice and friendly. I did get the butterscotch latte the other day and it was creamy but I didn't taste like butterscotch, maybe they didn't put enough. I have been here a few times and will definitely come back for a treat. read more

I stopped by 8th Symphony Café and honestly loved it! I got the Peanut Butter Cups drink and it was so good -- literally like drinking a bowl of cereal in the best way. The cereal on top was actually a nice touch too. I also tried the Biscoff Latte. It was good, especially considering I subbed whole milk for oat milk and it still kept the flavor. AMAZING! Both matcha and coffee are delicious! There's a good amount of seating inside to study and plugs in certain wall areas! I would definitely recommend trying this place and also to study! Will definitely be back! Prices are a little high and parking is a bit full, those are the only downsides. Also only one restroom. Overall, worth it! read more

Is it dog friendly? As in, can I pop in with my pup to place an order with him next to me then leave after getting it type of dog friendly?
I would say so. I've seen some people come in and out with their pups after receiving their order. I think so long as they're not disruptive during the visit.
