This was my first time here! I got their double matcha, and although I usually get it sweeter, I still thought it tasted really good and you can definitely taste the high quality matcha! I didn't get to taste their cookies, but will be back to try them for next time :) If you're looking for a study spot, there isn't a lot of seating and I don't think there were any charger outlets, but I do think that it is a good place to hang out with friends!
Visiting Cafe Fever may have you leaving with symptoms that include: matcha cravings, pastry addiction and latte withdrawals Now that you rad the warning label Cafe Fever was so good! My husband and I have visited a few times now! There's a parking lot, space to sit inside. The staff is always friendly and helpful with answering questions. My husband always gets their vanilla bean latte w salted cream. I always go between the strawberry matcha latte and the double matcha latte. Their matcha is soooo good! It's a good umami flavor and not overly sweet like other cafes I have tried. They have a great assortment of pastries, so far we have tried the lemon cheesecake cookie, and the Oreo s'mores. We need to try more! I definitely recommend this cafe to anyone!
I was running some errands in the area and needed a coffee fix to get me thru the day. Searched them up on Yelp and it was central to all my stops. It was a pretty busy Saturday morning around 10 and the lot was full but that's okay cause there's plenty of street parking. Inside is cozy probably only a handful of tables. My latte was just okay, nothing too memorable but it did the job. Service was fast and friendly tho!
I fond this place while I was in the area searching through Yelp and OH. MY. GOSH. This is officially my new favorite bakery! I already cannot wait to come back. First of all, I LOVE scones, but I have never in my life had a raspberry butter scone before. When I say this thing changed my life... I mean it. The combination of the raspberry with the actual buttery richness was unreal. I'm literally drooling writing this review thinking about it again. Absolute top tier. Bomb.com. I also got the vanilla bean salted coffee, and that was really good too. It paired perfectly with the scone. But let me tell you... The real star of the show is that raspberry butter scone. Holy moly. I genuinely wish more places sold something like that because I would eat it every single day if I could. One thing I definitely recommend: get here EARLY because it seems like their scones sell out fast. I can already tell I'm going to be back trying all the other flavors. Seriously, if they expanded to more locations, I'd probably become a regular immediately. Such a great find and soooooo goood!!!!
Just wanted to update my review, I tried the matcha latte again but with the half salted cream and half matcha cream top. It's a perfect balance between the sweetness and bitterness of matcha while also still getting that taste of salted cream mixed in. I may have gone on an off day last time or more-so towards when they first opened, so maybe it tasted lighter then. But I can see why so many people like their matcha now! I also tried what I think is their matcha pistachio white chocolate scone, and I like the crisp crunch on the outside while the inside has soft textures. Really could taste the mix between the actual pistachio pieces, matcha, and white chocolate in this pastry.

There were lots of people but the line moved quickly because staff was very quick and efficient. The coffee shop is cute and quaint with limited chairs along the wall and a table outside. I was able to order the last of two Matcha Ruby cookies and a Matcha, Red Bean, Butter scone. They had interesting texture and were pretty good but not sure if I'd go out of my way for these. The star of the show for me was the Double Matcha, which was very rich in matcha flavor and creamy! I'd definitely come back for this drink!
From the outside, it looks like a medical building, but there's plenty of parking. Inside is small and cozy with a few tables and a relaxed, apartment-style feel. Service was great--I was greeted right away and even had my drink brought to me (shoutout to Sooah!). I ordered a Spanish latte (5/5), which was perfect--just wish they had larger sizes. I also tried the raspberry jam butter scone (4.2/5) and a salted caramel scone--both were good, but the raspberry stood out more. Ended up taking some home. The vibe was everything--jazz music, calm atmosphere. I stayed for about an hour and a half without even noticing the time. It did get busy as I sat there. Definitely coming back to try more scones and a cold drink next time.
3/10/2026 Matcha Basque Cheesecake It was very creamy and you can taste the bitterness of the matcha at the end. It's the type of flavor that you never get sick of. I really enjoyed this! I ate it at room temperature. Raspberry Jam Butter Scone This was a plain butter scone with butter and raspberry jam inside. This isn't a traditional scone, but more of a Korean-version of a dessert scone. It is a bit more dense, crispier and drier scone. Scone had a buttery taste, but with an added pat of butter and jam inside it was extra buttery. I didn't love it at first bite, but this scone grew on me. I ate it without any hot beverage, but it would go great with a hot cup of black tea. Walnut Chocolate Chip Cookie Not sweet, very light in sweetness. They mixed in bits of real walnuts with semi-sweet chocolate chips. It was half flavor of real walnuts and half flavor of chocolate chips. It wasn't crispy, but a softer cookie. Personally, it is better than the typically overly sweet cookies you would get from American bakeries, but I still would have liked it a tad more sweeter. The best part was that I didn't need to chug down a cup of water after eating this! Double Chocolate Cookie Lightly crispy on the outside, but more of a soft cookie. Very good dark chocolatey flavor. Very pleasant flavor overall. Just the perfect amount of sweetness for the chocolate lover in me. Matcha Pistachio Scone Not sweet, very little sweetness. Little bit of matcha flavor in the scone with whole pistachios inside. To my surprise, there were quite a bit of whole pistachios inside! Good buttery flavor of the scone. Moist overall than the Raspberry Jam Butter Scone I've had, which was much, much drier. I liked that it was more moist. Dry scones are so hard to eat! As much as I liked the texture more than the other scone, this one was a bit of a miss for me flavorwise. If you like matcha and pistachio together, this one's for you. Out of all the items I've tried, the matcha basque cheesecake and double chocolate cookie were my favorites. Customer Service Everyone is nice. Both people who were working at the front were friendly and nice. Ambiance / Seats It's very small and minimal. Small tables and seats, less than 6. There were a few tables and seats outside too. It was packed inside! There were two people sitting outside. Seats and tables were all low, so it probably would not be comfortable to sit on. Parking It is attached to Quest Learning Center. Medium-sized parking lot. Back parking lot on Artesia Blvd. and Elaine Ave. You will see the backdoor of Cafe Fever with the Cafe Fever parking signs. However, backdoor cannot be used as entrance. Neighborhood street parking available as well. The cafe will be right around the corner. Not sure if I would return. The scones and desserts weren't bad and some of them I enjoyed, but I feel there are other places I would try over Cafe Fever. Never say never, but as of right now, I won't return.
Such a cute spot!! Few seating options but it is a lowkey spot to get some homework down or talk with friends on their outdoor patio chairs. Service was super friendly and fast. I recommend their double matcha w/ soy milk! The soy milk balances out the thickness of the matcha foam on top and its a perfect blend between the bitterness of matcha & sweet. We also tried their matcha cheesecake- super good if you're a big fan of cheese- I tasted that more than the matcha to be honest. It wasn't too sweet but definitely cheesy! Will definitely be coming back :)!
the best scones i've had + their drinks were so good Cafe Fever Artesia ^ although it's la county, it didn't feel like a far drive from oc! i would make the drive tho i think it's worth it :) what we got: raspberry jam & butter scone salted caramel scone matcha scone triple chocolate cookie classic salted scone matcha basque cheesecake vanilla bean latte w salted cream foam organic double matcha everything was genuinely delicious!!! i can't even pick a favorite, but if i had to maybe the raspberry butter scone or the classic- you really can't go wrong with either tho! the matcha was SOO good i loved it so much. it had a really good matcha taste and was a good amount of sweetness. the latte was also amazing! i usually don't care for salted foams, but this one was reallyyy good. small space inside, limited seating. super nice staff! cute and vibey, nice music
Cafe fever is one of those cafes that is up there on my list , I have been here mornings and a few hours before closing but definitely recommend coming in the morning because their pastries are all stocked . My favorite is the ice vanilla bean latte with cold foam . If you are loving something sweet please try their raspberry scone , and if you are feeling savory their sausage scone is so goood . Also can't go wrong with any of their cookies .
Such a cute spot! It is small but good enough for a hang out spot. Upon walking in you can smell their baked goods. In this visit we ordered the strawberry matcha and strawberry milk. The matcha was solid. The strawberry milk was refreshing and fresh. I will come back to try out their baked stuff next time.
A tiny little storefront with six small tables, lo-fi on their hi-fi, and a seemingly endless variety of scones. I came for the coffee but felt compelled to try the scones once I saw that there were savory options available. I tried: Garlic Butter Cream Cheese Scone - Whoa. This was a sweet and salty umami flavor bomb of a pastry. The scone itself had like a caramelized crisp and was super buttery and crumbly on the inside. The garlic butter was salty and really garlicky, and the cream cheese brought the little bit of tang to round out the complexity of the pastry. Like no joke, seriously crave worthy if you're a savory fan and/or sensory seeker. Iced Vanilla Latte with Salted Cream - sweet, creamy, and subtly complex but honestly I can barely taste it anymore after eating the aforementioned scone. The espresso is perfect, not overly bitter. The little sprinkle of nutmeg finishes the drink with a slightly spiced aftertaste. While I know this spot has a reputation for matcha, don't hesitate on their lattes if you're in a coffee mood. Service was prompt, the people working the counter kept it low-key and real. Overall, highly recommend checking out this spot (especially if you're on the hunt for a scone!)

Stopped by Cafe Fever for coffee and dessert and ended up really enjoying both. I honestly don't remember exactly what drinks we ordered, but I remember the coffee being good enough that I'd happily come back for it again. The standout for me was the cheesecake. Not overly sweet, good texture, and the perfect thing to pair with a coffee. The cafe itself was clean, comfortable, and a nice spot to hang out for a bit. Overall a solid local coffee shop that I'd definitely revisit when I'm in the area. read more

I wish I lived closer because I absolutely LOVE this place as a great coffee and matcha work spot as well as a cozy shop to catch up with friends. Staff is friendly and warm. Highlights: * great customer service * solid Wi-Fi (not spotty at all) * outlets * solid menu options I ordered the Smoked Pork Sausage Scone and it blew my mind. Paired with the cream cheese, it was absolutely delicious flavor and texture wise. The staff also made me an Iced Matcha Vanilla Latte per my request and it was solid as well. This place specializes in scones, cookies, and coffee/matcha drinks. I've been here mainly for its scones because they're quite unique. I don't even like scones because of the dry texture, but this place makes them lot more enjoyable by making them like a scone sandwich. The scone itself is still dry, but this place puts jams, stick of butter, or other ingredients in between two scones. Classic Salted scone was just ok but all the other ones I tried were fantastic. I tried every single scone here with the exception of plain Matcha and Smoke Sausage/Cheese. My top three favorites are Matcha/Red Bean/Butter, Matcha/Pistachio/White Chocolate, and Salted Caramel. I only tried two drinks so far. Forest Cream Latte (latte with matcha cream and cocoa powder) was excellent. The espresso tasted quite bold and the matcha cream was just sweet enough. I drank the espresso (bottom) part first just so I can savor the matcha cream at the end. Rose & Berry Cream Latte was good too. I'm not big on rose flavored drinks but the raspberry syrup provided a good balance. It's located at the Quest Learning Center building. It's a small place with limited seating so it's best for takeouts, although I still see people studying/working with their laptops. read more

One of the best matcha drinks I have had in the area! Location/Parking: parking lot is rather small, but the cafe is on the corner of a block that really isn't busy so you should be able to find street parking nearby is the lot is full. Location is quiet and calm. Service: workers were nice and I didn't feel rushed when I was deciding what to get. Vibes: calm spot to come for a drink and a pastry. There aren't a lot of seats, so I would recommend you come with a group of 4 or less if you're planning on hanging out here. More of a grab-and-go type of place. Drink: I got the double matcha and I really liked it! The matcha was delicious and not the cream top wasn't too sweet. I liked how creamy and thick it made the drink. Definitely would get again. Food: I tried the matcha, red bean, butter scone and it was pretty good. It was tasted and not too dry, but it was a little too heavy for my liking. Not too sweet though, it was just the butter that made it sit heavy in the stomach. I would come back for that double matcha for sure. read more

Solid matcha latte! It was so creamy and just the right amount of earthiness. On the sweeter side, but it made my sugar cravings happy. My friends weren't impressed by their coffee and I didn't enjoy their scone or cheesecake. Would return solely for their classic matcha. read more
Cafe Fever is one of the newer cafes in the Cerritos/Artesia area and it is definitely worth checking out. To get here, they have some parking in a smaller lot or street parking around the area. Inside, they have a small and modest setup with additional seating outside. For their menu, they have a nice selection of coffee, tea, and matcha drinks to choose from. Wifey and I stopped by for our weekend matcha run and ended up getting the Strawberry Lemon Tonic and the Organic Double Matcha. Overall, we enjoyed our drinks and the vibes of the shop. All of the staff here are very friendly and welcoming. If you are ever in the area, come stop by and check them out! read more

Double matcha has been the craze lately and more and more places are popping up left and right with double matchas! The entrance was a little odd to find from the parking lot and you have to go around the building. Drinks came out pretty quick but there isn't much seating inside as the location is pretty small. read more
Feverishly good. Cafe Fever is a great alternative in an area with tough competition. They shine through providing an actual cafe experience accompanied by creative and fun scones or cookies. I recommend any drink with a foam top or enjoy one of their butter scones, the garlic butter is the best. However, there are a lot of misses. To reiterate, they provide an authentic cafe feeling but would benefit from a different location. They need more space to invite folks to stay as there's a bit of an awkward line out the door of people waiting to order or for their order. Theres too much potential wasted here i feel. Staff worked hard and spun out drinks pretty fast on the weekend. I would like to compliment them where its due. read more

I feel like my scone game has just leveled up. Amazing little cafe pumping out the best scones and drinks. I highly recommend trying the garlic butter scone. Cafe Fever uses high quality ceremonial matcha for their drinks. Their cookies and scones are made fresh daily, be sure to come early before they sell out. It was my first time having their scone and it was not too sweet, good texture, and buttery. Been waiting to try this! Not many places that specialize in scones, and wow the texture is spot-on. My friend and I got several to try, and our favorites were: matcha azuki, sausage, garlic butter, regular with raspberry jam. The salted caramel we got was nice too. Honestly they were all good! I'd definitely want to try their regular scone without anything, and the matcha with raspberry jam. For drinks, I got their double matcha. Flavor was delicious with a nice creaminess. read more
Really good double cloud matcha latte here!!! It took me by surprise where this cafe was located, it's inside of a dance studio that used to be super popular back in the day! The parking lot is small but still plenty of parking during the day. The inside is quite packed with only ~4 tables inside for seating. There are wall plugs though if you want to charge your laptop and work out of this cafe. The double matcha and the cookies and pastries were so good... and I usually won't eat pastries at random cafes. Definitely get the matcha. Stopped by on Christmas Eve for some coffee and for something to do. Glad to see they're open. It was a little hard finding the entrance until I read reviews on here. The entrance is street facing with stone path leading to/from the entry door and the sidewalk! They have a handful of cookies and pastries available but didn't get any. They looked delicious tho. We ordered matcha cream latte and honey latte. The matcha cream latte tasted good at first but it ended up just tasting like simple syrup which I wasn't a fan of. I ordered no sugar in the latte portion but I knew there was sugar in the cream part. I'm guessing the simple syrup from it melted into the drink and gave it the syrup flavor. The employees were friendly and the inside of the cafe was cute. I'd like to go back and try their americano or any unsweetened drink. read more

I've never had a savory cookie before trying these and now I have a new obsession. Absolutely loveee the garlic butter cookie - highly recommend. The raspberry butter scone and matcha s'mores were tied for second. The lemon cream cheese and Oreo s'mores were also amazing tbh. If you're ever in the area, you need to try as many of these cookies & scones as you can. Service was really great and the ambiance of the little shop is super cozy. Def would come back to this cafe! We drove past it at first because it's like part of a big building that's mostly a tutoring center/music academy. The entrance is on the side of the building facing the small street and you can park in the small lot or in the neighborhood. The inside doesn't have too much seating but there are also a couple tables outside. Vanilla latte w/ salted cream top: 5/5 I didn't love the cream on its own but I liked it a lot mixed in with the drink. This was prob my ideal latte bc it was sweet but you could still taste a bit of the coffee flavor Spanish latte: 5/5 I don't typically order Spanish lattes, but this was perfect for me as far as Spanish lattes go I saw that they had pastries but they were sold out since we went around 1pm. So many new coffee cafes popping up in Cerritos/Artesia area. Cafe fever was on the top of my list to try out. The entrance is on the sidewalk side of the building. It's pretty small with 4-5 tables against the wall. The staff were really nice and helpful. Coffee was good but nothing too amazing. Cookies were on the thicker side and thought they were just okay. I would definitely recommend this place. Their matcha and coffee are just perfect with their employees being incredibly nice and friendly, helping you choose the drink you are looking for. The place is slightly crowded because there are a lot of customers, but that means business is booming. Despite this, the drinks are made efficiently keeping everything perfect without having to wait a while. Overall, this place is very cozy and would recommend. read more

Really yummy and unique scones and cookies here! My only complaint is that some of them are too dry and not moist enough. It was kind of hard to find a lot first but its entrance is facing the small street. read more

Café Fever is interesting because you can enter either from outside or through the store -- but going through the building feels a little sketchy, not gonna lie. We even got a bit lost trying to find it. Inside, there are about six very small tables, and I mean small. A laptop would barely fit, so this isn't really a place to sit and work. The music is also pretty loud, so if you're hoping to talk or have a chill conversation, this might not be the best spot. Now for the good part -- the food and drinks were actually great. The Strawberry Latte with espresso tasted exactly like espresso with strawberry in the best way. Very lovely flavor combination. The Raspberry Jam Butter Scone was amazing. The butter goes crazy, and the jam tastes super fresh. Probably my favorite thing I tried. The Caramel Scone was on the harder side, but still really good flavor-wise. No complaints there. My friend ordered the Vanilla Bean with Caramel (decaf) and loved it. The cream on top was delicious. Overall, the drinks and pastries are genuinely tasty, but the seating and atmosphere bring the rating down a bit. read more
overall: if i'm in the area i'll be back to try their other drinks and pastries drink: we got the double matcha. the matcha was good but it was as strong as i would hope for a double matcha. service: staff was friendly and the drinks came out pretty quickly. ambiance: there is some seating inside and i did see a couple people studying. parking: they have a parking lot so parking is pretty easy. there is also plenty of street parking available. read more
