I was in the area Saturday morning and wanted a small mom and pop coffee shop and I came across this. Parking was easy. Spacious parking. I got the Dirty Nutty. This is what they're known for. It's very unique. There's peanuts around the rim with caramel. Take a sip without a straw and without mixing it. Taste the flavors. Then you can mix it with the wooden stick they give you. I was looking to try new coffee shops in the area and this one looked interesting. The shop is a little hidden. This little shopping center has enough parking spaces. If you were looking to sit and enjoy your drink, be warned that the shop itself is pretty small. I love the feel and the esthetic. I got the mango Matcha cream and a nutella croissant. Came here for the first time on a weekday upon opening and there were already people studying and sitting to drink. There's pastries here as well and matcha & coffee specialty drinks. There's street vibe is simple and minimalist. They have a restroom and WiFi for guests. I ordered strawberry matcha (8/10) , strawberry tres lech (not too sweet, 6/10) and pistachio matcha (9/10). Came here because I saw aesthetic photos of their dirty nutty latte! Which is all I really need to go to a new cafe. I feel like most cafes have a lot of the same drinks...Nothing new or special, so I was very happy to see this place have a peanut butter latte. It was quite good! A little on the sweeter side I'd say but perfect for someone like me. They have more conventional non-flavored coffee beverages, but also unique flavors like a Pistachio Vanilla Latte with Pistachio cream on top. I hope more coffee shops take a note from their book and add at least one unique item that helps them stick out from the rest. Store is small with super limited seated, but my friends and I were able to grab a table and sit and talk for a good while until store closing. We noticed the store got pretty crowded towards the end of the day too. read more

They are literally making drinks on scales so every drink has the same amount of foam and everything, which is appreciated. Even though I came on a Sat morning, my warmed almond croissant was really crispy and lacked any moisture so it felt a little old. Tried Cafe Eclado last week on a day off, so I made sure to bring my book I had been reading. The parking lot has just enough spaces, but the spots can be a bit tight. Inside the cafe has limited seating but if you get there at the right time you should be good. One restroom in the back too. I ordered a dirty nutty, one of their signature and most popular lattes, as it had peanut cream with espresso and crushed peanuts! After ordering it, the employee recommended a certain way to drink it. He was nice, I'm sure the other employees are too just wasn't able to speak with them. The latte was sooo good! Probably one of my favorite lattes I have had in a while. You would never think to have a peanut-y latte but this place made it and made it RIGHT!! The peanut espresso cream on the top was probably my favorite part. Only thing that bothered me was the music lol. Maybe it's just me but it was kinda depressing and I had to actively keep blocking it out. But, I definitely would recommend the dirty nutty latte for anyone coming here. The staff was kind and friendly There are pastries you can order as well. I got the strawberry matcha with cloud foam, and my husband got the dirty nutty. omggaaa the dirty nutty was amazinggg! it wasn't like super "peanut butter taste" it had a great nutty flavor that married well with the coffee. I definitely drank more of my husband's coffee than my own matcha looool However the strawberry matcha was also noteworthy! The strawberry was all fresh, there was still some chunks of it. I prefer this over some places that will use like the artificial syrup or a jam. I will definitely be back to be back and try the other drinks on the menu. read more

Pretty much everyone who comes here orders its signature drink Dirty Nutty, which is basically an espresso drink with peanut butter, milk, and caramel dipped rim with pieces of peanuts. It's a very decadent drink, more like a peanut butter shake than a drink. I liked it for the first few sips but then it was just too much for me. Even at just 12 oz. iced, I had a hard time finishing it. For a peanut based coffee drink, I prefer the Peanut Cream Latte at Teaish & Coffee. Hoppucino was a better drink. It's a hojicha latte with hojicha cream top. Hojicha flavor was quite bold and I loved the cream top. This place is tiny with very limited seating inside and no outside seating. I felt extremely claustrophobic inside because the whole place was packed. I couldn't even set down my drinks to put straws in them because there wasn't even a counter space to put my drinks down. read more

Don't sleep on Cafe Eclado! I was lucky enough to stop by on their grand opening. Eclado is cute quant smaller coffee shop but don't let the lack of size fool you, they offer big bright coffee notes , larger than life matcha foam and pasties with huge flavors. With drinks like the dirty nutty, mango matcha and Vienna latte. I'm lucky enough to say I've had a chance to try all of them. Each and every single drink is not only handcrafted curated to order but you can taste the uniqueness and every single cup. There's not many places that can offer a "dirty nutty" with peanuts rimmed on the coffee. It's unique it's fun and it definitely shakes up your typical lattes. read more

I came here for the Dirty Nutty and the Dirty Nutty only! This drink only comes iced. The staff was so sweet to ask if it was our first time having it because they wanted to explain how to drink it. It was amazing. It's a peanut butter dream with tiny bits of peanuts around the rim. My husband said this drink made it to the top of his list of favorite coffees. We do wish it was a little bigger, but we appreciated that the cup wasn't made up of all ice. Also, there is no lid for this coffee because of the rim, so just be aware in case you're on the go. It wasn't too busy when we went and it's small inside. There is some seating but if it's busy, it might be too crowded to enjoy your coffee there comfortably. read more

I've been wanting to try this spot for so long and my friend finally caved. It's down the street from my eyebrow threading salon and I was not about to miss out again after our appointment this morning. We ordered the Dirty Nutty, Hopuccino, pecan bar, and earl grey tigre. All I have to say is godddddamn does Cafe Eclado know what they're doing when it comes to the latte game. Both drinks were 10/10 and then some. I got them 50% sweet as well and will probably opt for 30% sweet in the future. EZ parking in front of their cafe and the line to order was bearable. I do wish the drinks were larger than they were, but the quality was exquisite! Service was also top notch. I want to come back to try their pistachio matcha again in the future (probably after my next eyebrow threading appointment in a month). Great spot for matcha, coffee, and pastries!! The dirty nutty latte is truly unique, very peanut butter-y and strong coffee flavor. The mango matcha was refreshing and not too sweet. It was our first time trying a Le Tigre pastry. We tried the lemon and early grey flavor and both were so good. It's so moist and the flavors are perfect. There are only a few tables inside so if you come during peak hours, you might not be able to have a place a sit. But it does seem more like a grab and go spot. read more

Been wanting to check this cafe out. Parking was ample on a Saturday afternoon. The lady working the register was so sweet and was helpful. I got the Hochija Latte with cream. It was $6.50. $7.20 with tax. The lattes are actually smaller than I was expecting but the flavor and consistency was so good and it felt like it was enough. Be sure to mix in the cream to the latte or else you'll be left with cream that's hard to drink once the tea is gone. The aesthetics of the place was plain and simple but vibey. We got their pastry too. Forgot the name of it but it was made with almond flour and had raspberry jam on it. They said they made them in house. The other pastries like the croissants looked SO good! 12/21/2025 CAPPUCCINO It was okay. But still unimpressive. Added turbinado cane sugar packet to add a bit of sweetness. The milk foam was okay, but the coffee itself was not good. A bit of sourness in the coffee flavor. Wouldn't recommend. MANGO MATCHA CLOUD I was told to mix it before drinking. I did and not everything mixed evenly. The mango puree still sits on bottom. When you drink it together, it is creamy and the mango puree brings this fruity, bright, sweetness to the drink. The matcha + mango combo works! The cream top does make it a bit more creamy, which feels more like a dessert than a fruity matcha drink. They didn't put too much ice in it, but a couple of smaller ice cubes to line the bottom of the cup. So the ice cubes did not fill the whole cup, which I appreciated! Yeah, this drink seems to suit summer than winter, as we are in late December, but I enjoyed this drink and I would re-order again! ESPRESSO TIGRÉ I love when coffee shops add delicious pastries like the tigré, which is hard to find in any bakery let alone a coffee shop. So I was excited to try this! It was good. The coffee flavor was there, but I think it could have been done better. It tasted a bit like frosting. Like the sweetness level of the espresso filling. Not sure whether to call it a cake or a financier, but it is of medium softness. A bit of crunchy texture coming from the brown turbinado sugar coated on the outer layer. You can clearly see the chocolate chips inside too. Pretty to look at. EARL GREY TIGRÉ Similar in texture like the Espresso tigré. It had a decent Earl Grey flavor, but a tad too sweet, but having a cappuccino does break that sweetness. It goes well with a cup of coffee. There were other tigré pastry flavors available, so I'd probably want to try more of them later on. There were other pastries there: croissants (savory and sweet), brownies, cinnamon bun, chocolate cupcake, I like their variety of selections! TABLES & WAIT TIME Came here on a Sunday afternoon and there wasn't a large line, but there was a bit of wait time for the drinks, as I found out that only one barista was working today. It's a very small space, so not a whole lot of space to stand around waiting for your order. It was quite uncomfortable. There were a few tables and chairs, which was nice, but because it's a small café, everything was taken. It felt very crowded inside! PARKING I had no issues finding parking. With the amount of new coffee shops popping up in the Artesia/Cerritos area, Cafe Eclado is a wonderful addition and currently my fave! It is a small, humble shop but the aesthetic is simply beautiful. I've ordered their mango matcha cloud, Pistachio cream, an iced latte with peanut cold foam but their Dirty Nutty is the star of the show! If you're not allergic to peanuts, do give it a try. It's rich and creamy without tasting sweet and the espresso just balances out the drink. They give you a stir stick so you can mix it and you drink it straight from the cup. No straw needed. (They line the rim of the cup with peanuts and can get messy though. If you're not into that, you can tell them to just sprinkle the peanuts on top.) Five stars for the friendly and helpful staff, deliciously handcrafted drinks, their clean and quiet sitting space and plentiful parking. read more
