I visited Holos Coffee on a Friday around 8 am and was surprised by how busy it already was. The line was nearly out the door, but service moved quickly and I got my drink within about five minutes after ordering. I ordered the Holos Latte and found it to be more on the bitter side. The flavor leaned more caramel-forward than nutty, which isn't really my preference, but I can see the appeal. It's also supposed to have earl grey undertones, but I honestly couldn't taste much of it in the drink. I could see myself coming back to Holos Coffee, but I'd want to try something different next time before forming a stronger opinion on the drinks overall.

Love finding new coffee, shops, and been exploring more areas that are on my commute to work. Found this one on Yelp and decided to try it out. There was a long line when I got there, but it seems like it was because the people at the front we're asking multiple questions. Once they ordered the three people in front of me seem to know what they wanted and it ran pretty quick. I ordered a short cream latte and it was delicious. I personally love tasting the espresso, which can sometimes be hidden under creams, but this one had the perfect ratio. The cream gave it a little bit of sweetness without taking away too much from the espresso. They have tables to sit at inside. While I was there it was packed and this was around 10 o'clock. Everyone was super friendly and fairy patient judging from how the cashier handled the people asking all the questions.
Location is close to 99 ranch market. It's in the plaza right before Ranch 99. I ordered a strawberry Matcha with half of the sweetener and with oat milk for a grand total of eight dollars. This place also has pastries, coffee,and also sells gelato Ice-cream. I had been here before with the girl and couldn't recall if I liked this place. The drink was good. I always feel like I'm having a strawberry nest quick when I have this drink that's why I don't like it too sweet. I will admit it's not as good as the one solid coffee roasters makes, but it's close. I'll come back. I'll try the coffee next time.
First time trying Holos Coffee and I can see why it's so popular! There was a steady stream of customers the whole time I was there, which is always a good sign. I ordered their signature Holos coffee and it did not disappoint -- well-balanced, smooth, and clearly made with care. What I didn't expect was that they also serve ice cream, which is a fun bonus and a nice touch for a coffee shop. Great combo if you're craving something cold and something caffeinated at the same time. The space has a clean, welcoming vibe, and the staff were friendly despite how busy it was. Already looking forward to going back to try more of the menu, including that Holos coffee again.

A lot of people working at their tables, my husband got our drinks to go, but not sure there was any open seating from what I could see. I'd recommend coming early if you wanted to grab a seat and stay here for a bit. We got a holos latte and short cream latte. I thought both drinks were fine. There was a light bitterness to both that I've never quite liked in coffees I get that some shops managed to eliminate. It wasn't an overwhelming bitterness and I could taste the coffee, but I didn't think it wasn't anything particularly interesting flavor profile wise. Just both solid drinks. I did like the house-made cream in the short creme latte, it was thick and creamy and slightly sweet. The pricing if fair for the quality and quantity, and I'd like to come back to try their pastries next time! Their matcha pistachio croissant looks delicious. Plenty of parking, can't imagine it getting filled where you wouldn't be able to find a spot.
Good for those study dates or just chill. The espresso cream was on point. And the passion fruit pastry was yummy. Will be a return customer.

Plenty of indoor seating, and seems like a great place to get work/studying done. Good service, friendly staff, and chill atmosphere.
This coffee shop was the first place to introduce me to Short Cream Latte, and now I am obsessed. This latte comes as iced only and a 12 oz cup. You can order it as dine-in, which they will put the drink in a pretty glass cup, or as to-go, which will be your standard plastic cup. What makes latte stand out is their cream! It's so creamy, fluffy like a cloud, and the right amount of sweetness. I came on a Sunday afternoon, and it was very crowded - with lots of people working on their laptops. There's a communal table, several tables, and another communal table along the window sill. I'm definitely coming back for their Short Cream Latte, and I want to try their seasonal drinks next time!

YUMMMMYYYY!!! I was in the area so decided to stop in here. There are a lot of highly rated shops in the area but took a chance on Holos. We got a pistachio matcha and the short latte. Both were absolutely delicious! The staff was friendly and informative when helping us as first time customers. The drinks were made very quickly...no long waits. The quality was top notch. Came here for the fall seasonal lattes. I got the sweet potato latte and my wife got the caramel apple latte. The sweet potato latte smelled like baby food, in an endearing way haha. It had good flavor, but it did just taste like sweet potato with coffee. Nothing extraordinary. The caramel apple latte did taste like a caramel apple. A little too sweet in my opinion, but if you love sweet drinks, that one's for you! The vibe is open and airy, with a big communal table for lots of people to sit at. It looked like everyone was working remotely here on a Friday morning. The workers were friendly. Parking was really easy too, plenty of it. Would love to come back here and work remotely. read more

Got an iced latte and was very happy with it! I can't wait to be back in Artesia to get it again! I like that they have stickers for sale, too! I like their logo, it's very nice. Parking is super easy since it's in a plaza with tons of parking spots. Ambiance is pretty cool. I'd recommend checking it out! read more
Located in a plaza , plenty of parking but it does get extremely busy and packed ! The matcha here was top tier , one of my top 5 matchas I have had ! They also carry baked goods from local Long Beach restaurants and bakery Nonna Mercato ! Everyone here is nice , has seats and tables available that were all occupied , def can get busy in there ! read more
Heard about this place on instagram and couldn't wait to give it a try. So lucky I am not to far away. Wow even tho it's raining today the line was out the door. Holos is an absolute treat! i've been here a handful of times and every single time has been consistent as well as delicious! Holos has a great vibe overall with perfect coffeehouse, music and the space to work or grab a coffee with a friend. I've tried their specialty lattes, matcha, short cream late, hojicha and much more but my personal favorite will always be the short cream latte. This is one of Holos specialties and you don't see it at any other locations. It is a wonderful creamy espresso based drink that is delectable from start to beginning. read more
Came on a Saturday afternoon and the line was out the door, but I will say the service was very fast and efficient, which I appreciated. I had been recommended the Cookie Butter Latte, so I was excited to finally try it. I ordered both the Holos Latte and the Cookie Butter Latte with oat milk. Unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed with both. First, I'm not a fan of their oat milk. It tasted very thin and had a slight aftertaste that threw off the drinks. Neither latte was overly sweet, but the overall flavors were very light and faint. The Holos Latte wasn't creamy and lacked depth. The Cookie Butter Latte was slightly better, but the Biscoff flavor was still subtle and didn't stand out the way I expected. Overall, the Holos Latte was a no for me and the Cookie Butter Latte was just okay. If you prefer lighter, more subtle flavors, this might be your spot. I personally wouldn't return, but I can appreciate the quick and efficient service despite how busy they were. read more
Cookie Butter Latte is really good, definitely recommend if you like those "specialty" kind of drinks. The Holos Signature was just the right amount of bitterness of the coffee. Although they really pack the drinks with ice especially for the Biscoff. Service was normal, nothing really to rave about. Basic customer service so it's still good lol. Used to come here all the time to study or do meet ups back in school. The place is a good setting for that with many tables and not too noisy. read more
This coffee shop was sooo good! We tried the Holos latte (hot) , Cookie butter latte, Orange mocha latte and the Matcha latte cold. Wow, they were all delicious! So creamy and flavorful! They have an assortment of baked goods, so we tried the Match pistachio croissant and Kouign Amann. They were flakey and soft. I would definitely get these again! The cafe had a good amount of tables and seating, but the place is always packed, so you might have to wait a little. The staff were very nice and helpful, attentive, and offered good recommendations. Service was fast.m and efficient. The cafe is more on the modern simple look. If there is a line, Wait! Great coffee shop! It's always packed whenever I find myself coming here and for good reason. They have an extensive menu with espresso drinks, coffee, matcha, teas, etc. They even have gelato! I've never tried the gelato, but do want to in the future. I loooove the cookie butter latte from here! It's not overly sweet nor is it bitter. It's the perfect balance and such a great latte without feeling like it's a dessert. We also tried the hojicha and it was great as well. *Note: TDLR at the end of the review Caramel Chai Latte (hot): 6/10 It tastes like what it is, caramel and chai. It is a bit on the sweeter side, which is not exactly my taste in drinks, but that's my fault for not asking questions and choosing it haha. It's also cinnamon heavy, but not in a bad overwhelming way. There's a whole ass cinnamon stick in my drink lol. Not good or bad, just to comment. For people who like sweet, this is for you. I only rated it a 6 because it's good but I don't think it's for me. Service: 7/10 Didn't provide anything out of the ordinary for me, but observed cashier going into detail about the drinks with one of the customers before me. They seemed pretty nice and drink came out within 10 minutes. Ambiance: 9/10 Very very aesthetic. They play good music, it has good lighting, there are outlets here and there, but not guaranteed. Seating is a bit tight because it is a small space, but you can definitely find somewhere to sit if you're okay sitting in close proximity to strangers. I think it's a pretty good study space. There's also water available to freely grab at the front. Parking wasn't a problem, but the lot is pretty small. Came on a Wednesday at around 12pm and it was crowded af, but I got a seat near an outlet. It was quiet for the most part, but definitely can get loud. TDLR: Good study spot with good drinks, but pretty small space and tight seating. Free wifi. Be prepared to sit with strangers if needed. Gets crowded easy. Decent parking. However, we were pleasantly surprised when we got to the shop and saw the updated seasonal menu. The cashier recommended their specials and seasonal drinks and I was drawn to the salted caramel apple latte. I was amazed by the flavor of the drink, it was very well rounded and the caramel apple flavor was not drowned by the cinnamon flavor! One of the best place to get great amazing coffee. The coffee is very fragrant and flavorful. If you want quality I would recommend the coffee here. First of all, service is quick and everyone that works there is nice. Blueberry matcha was good, you can't adjust the sweetness too much because the blueberry and matcha are combined together i believe. My bf loved his vanilla caramel iced latte, he got it decaf and it was the most smoothest tasting coffee I've ever tasted. Chocolate croissant was nice and warm and soft with flaky edges, it was delicious. There's seating inside but it's very limited because a lot of people come here to study or do work but my bf and i got lucky that two people were leaving. It was quiet inside but they had good music playing but it wasn't too loud, it was like the perfect volume. Great cafe! Also plenty of parking which is alwaysssss a big plus because i hate searching for parking lol. read more

It's been a while since I was last in Artesia, but Holos Coffee might be a good reason to make more frequent trips. I stopped by on the morning of Black Friday, and the cafe was already fully packed. It was my first visit and I wasn't sure what to expect -- I had thought that Holos Coffee would be just another lowkey coffee shop that I could grab a quick drink from on my way to run errands. However, it far exceeded my expectations and I soon understood what all the hype was for. I ordered one of the signature drinks, the Holos Latte, which has both earl grey tea and espresso in addition to honey and oat milk. If there was ever a drink perfectly suited to my palate, it's this one. It has such a unique taste, and the tea and espresso flavors were so complementary to one another, neither too overbearing. Holos Coffee also offers seasonal menu items, and they're pretty novel compared to the standard holiday drinks one usually sees around this time of year. At the time of my visit, they offered the Cookie Butter Latte, Cinnamon Caramel Apple Latte, Orange Mocha Latte, Chestnut Latte, and Caramel Chai Latte. It was difficult to settle on choosing just one drink after seeing what unique options they have! And if the quality of my Holos Latte is any indication, these drinks' flavors are likely just as good. I believe Holos Coffee partners with a third party bakery (I didn't catch the name, but it's displayed near the pastry case). I ordered a matcha pistachio croissant, which was huge and flaky and studded with pistachios. Perfect snack to accompany my Holos Latte! Would definitely recommend making the trip to visit Holos Coffee, even if it's out of the way. read more
Stopped into Holos Coffee for the first time and the place was filled with students and remote workers -- always a promising sign. Every seat was taken, which tells me people enjoy spending time here. I ordered an espresso tonic, and it was refreshingly smooth with a nice balance -- not too bitter and easy to drink. I also picked up a bag of beans for a trip, and the staff was kind enough to grind them for me since I wouldn't have access to a grinder. Really appreciated that extra bit of service. The ambiance is one of the strongest parts of this shop. The music was at a perfect level where you can hear it, but still work or chat without needing headphones. Everyone was respectful of noise levels, and the only thing that occasionally rose above the background was the espresso machine -- which just added to the coffee-shop feel. Drinks: 4/5 - Solid and refreshing. Ambiance: 4.5/5 - Comfortable and productive atmosphere. Service: 4.5/5 - Friendly and thoughtful. Overall, Holos Coffee is a great spot to grab a drink, get some work done, or pick up beans to brew at home. I'll definitely return and try more drinks next time. read more

I had to wait to come back cuz it turns out theyre closed sundays but i know they need a break! This time i got the (seasonal) caramel apple cinnamon latte iced with their sweet cream on top and of course more of those DEEEEELICIOUS financiers. The guy who took my order was SO kind and helpful and once again the drinks came out fast. I cant wait for their winter drinks! It was crazy busy when we came and parking was a nightmare but so worth it. read more
I think it really put it into perspective which coffee shop I like more given that I have 3 days in the area this week to get work done and today is day 3. Between 8th symphony and holos I decided to come back to holos to order their holos latte again and sit by the window. I'm not a big oat milk person but between this place's coffee and the staff holos is the clear winner. read more

Cute, popular coffee shop off Pioneer and 173rd in Artesia. Plenty of seating, though you may want to arrive early if you plan on staying - I was in on a Thursday morning around 10am and nearly all the tables were busy with people working and studying. Service was friendly and patient with my indecisiveness. After some deliberation, I tried: Iced Holos Latte : their namesake drink and one of the most unique lattes I have ever had (and I've had many) -- very highly recommend. Espresso, earl gray tea, oat milk, and honey all chilling in a cup together. The espresso was perfect and not too bitter, possibly because it was chased by the strong but pleasant black tea flavor. Oat milk made it creamy and the honey made it sweet and smooth, it was delicious. Bacon and Chive Croissant : they had SO many pastries in their case that looked amazing, but this one caught my attention. Super savory and salty, though the bacon and chive got a bit over toasted when they heated it leaving it crunchy burnt. Overall, it was really tasty. read more
Holos was one of the og coffee shops that started my addiction to drinks lol. Haven't been here in a while but I can confidently say this is probably one if not best coffee I've had ever. Their short cream latte was the first ever drink I tried with them and it was sooooo good. Recently went with my little sister and got the seasonal Orange Mocha Latte (10/10) and Blueberry Matcha (8/10) The latte was amazing and something new. It taste just like Terry's Orange Chocolate. It does have a bit of pulps incase you have a texture issue lol. Parking lot is big and overall a good space to study/hangout with friends. Went on a weekend and it was pretty busyyy but they were quick with it. The worker was funny and super nice!!! Totally worth a stop! I came here this morning to get some work done. Ended up buying 3 drinks to myself! Short cream latte in house is delish! I wouldn't wanna order it to go although you can! I enjoyed drinking it inside the cafe. I ordered holos latte iced twice because it's that good! The service is great for how busy they are too. One of the baristas actually walked my drink out to me where I was sitting and I truly appreciated that! Love this place! Music and wifi was great too! read more

What kind do oatmilk do you use?
We use Califia Barista Blend Oat Milk (blue carton)
Do we need to bring laptop and sit least a few hours to be served coffee?
No not at all. No laptop needed. You can grab and go or just order for there and enjoy. Limited seating and one table is a community table. They have great coffee here.
Do they sell coffee beans?
We do sell 12oz retail bags of beans from Ceremony Coffee! We always have a few blends and a few single origins in stock.
