This place is cute & minimalistic! The cute little play area is a win! I couldn't decide what I wanted so the barista suggested their seasonal peach iced coffee. It wasn't what I expected but it was pleasantly delicious! It reminded me of an espresso tonic but sweeter without the bubbles! I would totally order it again. One of the baristas came out and handed me my drink at my table which really sets their service bar high! I truly appreciated that. I'm definitely coming back!

Awesome hidden gem and must try! Great service and warm welcome! Comfortable inside seating available. The classic coffee selection for the real coffee drinkers. Seasonal, lattes and teas are tempting choices with ube, matcha, coconut, yuzu, hoji to name a few. Bottled juices by entrance. Local baked goods today was mango yuzu custard pie. Pastries golden, light crisp, warm insides. Espresso had that classic heartiness. Like a fine aged whisky sipping slow to appreciate all the bold flavor. Pour over was timed just right for a smooth sip of aromatics and touch of citrus. Personal pour over carafe served on the side to enjoy the full serving, also great for sharing. Parking right in front may be limited but larger lot a few steps away. Oh yes, if ur in a hurry order to go over the phone they gotcha covered. Can't wait to come back for more!

From the outside this is a very nondiscript location, inside has a certain charm to it but isn't a space I would go to for a study session or catch up with a friend. I ordered 2 drinks, starting with their cold brew. This unfortunately was way off the mark. It doesn't taste like cold brew just iced coffee which is a little harsher of a sip, especially when you drink it black like I do. It lacked smoothness and crispness and had a stale taste to it so that I very much do not recommend. My other drink was the white rabbit matcha. That drink was not bad, it was not overly sweet which I appreciated but also didn't have much flavor overall. I don't believe I would order either of those drinks again but with their interesting menu I would come back to try some of the other options.

Five stars for seven syllables coffee! I met one of the owners mom at a strike event an instructed me to come to try her son's coffee shop, and so I did. We tried ube macapuno latte and buko pandan latte. Both these lattes were so good and hit both flavors seamlessly. I was thoroughly impressed. In the fridge, I found the ever so loved ube cheesecake made by Sunday in June bakeshop. I remember ordering one of her pies during Covid times and was surprised to see her pies here! So many gems under one roof :) The coffee shop itself is clean and well maintained. Tables and chairs to get your reading/studying on. I'll come back to try more of their drinks, and of course, another slice of pie.

Ambiance: it's a cozy coffee store located in a strip mall, ample parking spots in the shaded plaza, it's a bit hot inside without air conditioning Service: very friendly and helpful with placing the order, and skillful at making the latte Drink: simple and classic menu with speciality drinks bourbon caramel latte - **** caramel infused with bourbon whiskey, sweet and bold flavor, recommend ube macapuno latte - **** ube and coconut cream, choice of coffee base, creamy and unique, recommend ube macapuno latte - *** ube and coconut cream, choice of matcha base, very sweet taste Price: decent quality and reasonable prices, expect about $7~$8 for each drink

3 stars for the drinks, 5 stars for the pastries and desserts sold here! My boyfriend and I love the cake vendor who sells their products here - their ube cake is the best ever. I'd recommend picking up a slice or preordering from that vendor! We visited on a Saturday afternoon. The parking lot is huge. The shop is small and clean, a few tables for small parties. I got a regular matcha latte and my boyfriend got a white rabbit latte. The staff was super nice and friendly! My matcha was ok, a little milky for my liking but the matcha flavor was good and not too sweet. My boyfriend liked the white rabbit latte even though I couldn't taste white rabbit LOL. Not bad coffee though!

White Rabbit Latte is Amazing! I'm a hot white mocha kinda guy, and that's always my go-to drink when trying a new coffee shop--but the White Rabbit Mocha immediately caught my eye, and I'm so glad it did. Made with whole roasted beans, White Rabbit candy, whole milk, and a touch of vanilla, it turned into a superb cup of coffee with a truly unique flavor. The service was great--friendly, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what they do. It was a pleasure chatting with them and hearing the process behind how they craft their drinks. Overall, a solid experience, and I definitely recommend giving this place a try.

I don't know why I slept on this place. You probably shouldn't either. Came in on a Wednesday morning. Plenty of seating, though several of the table were occupied by people quietly working. The people behind the counter were friendly and the service was way faster than anticipated. I ordered an iced ube latte and it was the best one I have ever had, hands down. Rich, mellow, and sweet, the espresso roasted and pulled perfectly. Writing this review is making me crave it. It's totally worth trying. I highly recommend checking them out!

Seven Syllables Coffee is a modest coffee café on Artesia and Carmenita. I've come a few times and check out the seasonal offerings. The white rabbit latte was very memorable and today I enjoyed the seasonal iced Strawberry matcha. Both visits were good service and delicious drinks. There are tables and chairs to study are hang out, but I live down the street so I'm generally just in for a moment. Nice staff and positive experience every visit

I've been meaning to bring my family here for the longest time, and we finally made it today! My siblings really liked the variety of flavors on the menu -- we ended up trying White Rabbit, ube macapuno, and buko pandan. I got the ube macapuno latte, which I really enjoyed. The drinks were fun and different, and it was nice to have unique flavors to choose from instead of the usual coffee shop options. The staff was friendly, and the space had a cozy vibe that would be perfect for studying or hanging out. Overall, a cute spot with good drinks -- glad I finally got to bring my family here. My parents already said they plan to come back here after their morning walks!

This is a cute, small coffee shop and is great for studying. I was getting work done on my car nearby and found this place on yelp. Wifi password is provided after purchase on the receipt. From my experience, there isn't an issue with seating as it never gets super busy (I stayed from 9:45 PM to 1 PM). There is parking in front of the shop. I really like how big the tables were, allowing me to spread out and not take a table for 4 people. Wifi works great, had 0 issues during my time here. I didn't need an outlet but I didn't see any outlets by me, so I would suggest coming with your devices fully charged. I got the Iced Caramel Bourbon Latte w/regular milk + extra sweet. I like my coffee on the sweeter side so the barista recommended me to get it extra sweet. For me, it was the perfect sweetness, and I really enjoyed my coffee. I also got a butter croissant warmed up and it was so soft. The staff is really friend and seems to know the local community very well, which is pleasant. It's nice to know that they know their customers and have a great relationship with them. 10/10 would come back to study the next time I'm in the area.

I finally got to visit Seven Syllables Coffee after buying their coffee so many times at the Cerritos farmers market. It was nice to see their actual coffee shop, and the space is clean, welcoming, and very nicely done. Tim was amazing and recommended the maple latte, which was absolutely worth trying. I ordered it with oat milk and it was perfect. The prices are decent, and they also offer pastries, which is a nice addition. When I visited, the place wasn't crowded at all and felt quiet, making it a really comfortable spot to enjoy coffee.

Came to pick up some beans. The barista was kind enough to quickly bag some for me because they didn't have any ready that morning. $24/ bag I will be back to try the drinks.

This is really just a friendly note to management. The only thing that turned a great experience into an uncomfortable one was the tipping screen. The suggested options started at 22% and climbed from there. I'm all for tipping, and I appreciate when businesses make it easy with reasonable options. But when the lowest suggested tip starts above and beyond a "normal" amount, it feels less like a suggestion and more like pressure. At 35%, I half expected someone to be outside washing my car while my espresso was pulling. I'd definitely recommend this place for the coffee and pastries. I just hope they reconsider the default tip suggestions. I think that small change would make the experience as enjoyable at the register as it is everywhere else.
