My coffee machine stopped working, and since I live nearby, this has become my go-to coffee spot. The coffee is consistently good. I usually keep it simple with a latte instead of the sweeter, cream-heavy drinks since it's more of my daily fuel to get through work. The shop is usually busy, but the service is quick and efficient. It's not really the kind of café where you'd settle in to work or catch up with friends. It's more of a grab-your-coffee-and-go kind of place, and it does that really well. read more

Service- I appreciate their efficiency. Person at the register was super polite and helpful. Baristas got the drink orders out fast. Ambiance- very cramped. Place to grab coffee and go. I prefer slightly larger spaces and flexibility to chill or work. Drink- only commenting on the Vienna latte and ube buttercream latte. Overall, the impression is that their default leans more towards milky and sweeter flavor profiles. These drinks were very milk forward and on the much sweeter end than we expected (and we got half sweet for both). Had to go back home and add double shots to both drinks to offset it. If you're looking for more coffee forward drinks, you'll have to ask to adjust it. But personally couldn't taste the coffee beans. Tried the Butter Cream Latte and the Vienna Matcha. The Vienna Matcha was just okay--the matcha flavor wasn't strong enough, so it ended up tasting a bit bland and was mostly overpowered by the cream. The Butter Cream Latte was definitely the better drink. It had a bold espresso flavor that paired really well with the creamy topping, making it balanced and flavorful. I'd come back for the latte, but I'd probably skip the matcha unless they make it with a stronger matcha base. read more

Yeems is my favorite coffee shop in KTown. They are the first shop located in a shopping center on the corner of 6th St and Westmoreland Ave. I have been coming here for two years now and I can confidently say they are a popular coffee stop here in KTown (I believe they went viral on TikTok not too long ago, lol). Quality Control is literally near perfect and no matter how busy they are, they are very quick to make your drink. Their flavors are always spot on, and they're small batch and made to order Their Vienna Latte, Ube Buttercream, and Matcha Latte are apart of rotation to match my mood for the day. Solid matcha. I hate to be that person, but Yeems doesn't even make it on my Top 5 in K-town. While nice, the matcha latte wasn't super memorable. The interior looks a bit run down and there wasn't a lot of seating. It's not somewhere you'd want to spend a lot of time. While I'm sure I could find something else or another matcha variation I would enjoy more, I'm not rushing back to try given the atmosphere and my first impression. Yeems Coffee is tucked away on the corner of 6th & Westmoreland. Small coffee shop with the convenience of parking, which is a HUGE plus in the LA area. Baristas are friendly and the flow of the service is impressive as they are able to go through the line in a quickly manner. The presentation is amazing and looks appealing. However, the coffee itself does not have a bold taste of coffee. Extremely subtle coffee flavor. I will say it is very creamy and sweet making it seem like a flavored milk drink. Great option for those who prefer a light drink or prefer sweetness. It may be a disappointment for coffee lovers as the taste does not live up to its presentations, which is absolutely stunning! read more

This afternoon, I had a Buttercream Latte at Yeems Coffee. I've heard that this place is super famous for having amazingly delicious coffee and that the lines are usually incredibly long. However, while I was driving past it to drop my mom off at her acupuncture clinic, I noticed there was no line! I thought, "Oh, I should definitely check that out," so I headed over right after dropping her off. I ordered the Buttercream Latte (Decaf, no ice, with almond milk). It was a little bit on the sweet side, but the coffee aroma and overall flavor were absolutely fantastic. It was really delicious! A few notes about my visit: Upcharge Communication: I really wish they had mentioned the extra charge for almond milk when taking my order. I only found out after checking my receipt that there is a $0.75 upcharge for it. Cleanliness & Space: While the coffee was good, the inside of the shop was quite small, so it felt a bit cramped and stuffy. Also, the table I sat at was a bit dirty--it had stains from where someone else had spilled a bunch of coffee, and no one had wiped it down, so it didn't look very clean. The Crowd: There were hardly any people when I first walked in, but suddenly a massive rush of customers came in all at once, making it extremely crowded. It made an already tiny coffee shop feel even smaller! Parking: They have free parking which is a huge plus. This is an especially great perk for someone like me, who is terrible at parking and constantly bumps the car when parking. read more

Bf and I got the Vienna Latte ($7) and holy wow, it's so good. It tastes just like tiramisu. It's so sweet and yummy. It's a bit cramped inside, but there are two tables available for seating. They also make drinks very quickly. Please please pleaseee try the Vienna Latte. I'm not even a big coffee person, but this one is so sweet, creamy, and more like a dessert coffee that I'd order it again and again. read more

This is a friend's favorite coffee spot in the area, so she brought one for me to try! Since Vienna coffee is all the hype in SoCal for whatever reason, I felt the need to try the Vienna Latte (Signature espresso drink with our house-made sweet cream with your choice of milk. Topped off with cocoa powder). The cream top is super luscious and nothing like cold foam. Vienna matcha: this drink is good but if you like matcha and want it to taste like matcha I wouldn't recommend this drink. The Vienna top overpowered the matcha flavor and it was completely lost. I've had their matchas before and I would just recommend those over this one. Still a good drink but I felt like I was just drinking creamer. Vienna latte (not pictured): my boyfriend said this is the best coffee in all of LA. It tastes very balanced, not too sweet and it has the right amount of bitterness. Yeems does matcha right. Strong. Not too sweet. Not too much oat milk. But that's not what I ordered this time. But I opted for the Vienna Latte. Wow. Aggressively espresso forward. Just how I like it. The quenelle shaped crème top featured a dash of cocoa. Was a little sweet, but it didn't bother me. I don't do desserts or sweets, only in my teas and coffees. We also had a rose Matcha latte, and a Strada Matcha latte. The line moved. The parking was no problem. Rare for K Town. It's a small space but seating exists, so we grabbed it. Iced vanilla latte and apple danish were delish. The ambiance of the cafe not so much. The white walls, tables and chairs were kind of dirty. The environment isn't super welcoming. Good thing is that the staff were. I came across this cafe when I was looking for one in the ktown area. It was quite busy around 10am on Memorial Day. Many people came in and out in the ~15-20 mins we were there. Most were just picking up and leaving since they are only 3 tables and minimal seating. They should revamp the furniture and decor so people have a nicer place to sit and enjoy their coffee and pastries. read more

This place is my new fav spot. They had the first Ube latte I have tried outside of the Philippines that tasted like real Ube, and not just purple. Tried the Vienna Latte (half sweet and light ice) and the Buttercream Latte, both were really good with a nice, strong espresso flavor. I love their foam so much as it blends so well with the coffee. The Vienna Latte was definitely my favorite, hands down one of the best in Koreatown! Parking is pretty easy since they have a small lot in the back (spots are limited, but it's still a big plus since parking around here can be tough). The inside is tiny, with just a couple of tables and a small area to wait for drinks, but it's cozy. I think I've been to Yeems more times than I can count on my fingers so I believe this review is long overdue. Yeems is a lil coffee shop that's high up in the ranks of ktown coffee shops for me due to their offerings and service. They have a variety of options to choose from but their menu isn't overwhelming. I haven't tried their tonics but I can confidently say their coffees and matchas are spectacular. Service is generally very friendly! The Yeems staff are always smiling even when they have a line of orders to get through. Also they have great music taste hahahah. I had a mistake with my drink once, but someone graciously helped me out when I told them about it and I appreciated the care they had in maintaining quality. Some of my favorites: - Vienna Matcha - Strawberry Matcha - Ube Buttercream Latte - Ginger Date Scone (satisfies my "not-too-sweet" cravings when it comes to baked goods, I think even our elder Asian relatives would like it) - Mushroom Pastry *Also the Choco Peppermint Cold Brew is a seasonal but sooooo good and decadent! *PS for the cafe hoppers, I wouldn't study here, it's more of a quick stop-and-go cafe! read more

They usually have a decent line out the door but they are pretty fast so you only wait 10-15mins max and your out the door. Small, cute coffee shop with delicious coffee! Came at around 11am last Tuesday and it was mildly packed. The coffee shop is located in a small plaza with a lot. We were able to find parking when we came. I ordered an iced Vienna Latte. Their other specialty drinks sounded very enticing too but I had to try their best seller. The drink was very good. It was creamy but also coffee forward. I got it less sweet and it was perfect for me. Service was quick. There were a lot of staff members behind the counter. Yeems is one of my fave matcha spots in Ktown! Their matcha is consistently high-quality and fresh. Love getting their matcha cream top and matcha latte (which comes unsweetened but you have the option of adding agave). The only pastry I've had here is their Kouign-amann, which I thought was so-so. My favorite K-Town drink that I have to stop by every time when I make my way to West LA. And I always get 5 or 6 for the whole family to enjoy. I love their Vienna Latte. A take on modern minimalism furniture and setting where less is more and the matcha consistency brings value to the place, is where we kind find this spot. The parking is limited and I park on the street to avoid it. This place has a very delicious and interesting selection of pastry's to try. I enjoy my matcha very earthy and grounded and strong. This place provides a well-balanced take with the milk and foam. My order didn't have any but the classic drink does. (Tried it in the past.) The customer service is great and line is served fast, with limited space to sit and stand on the inside. I was in and out in 10-15min. The cups have a green design which is nice and the best pastry to get is the chocolate croissant. I give this place a 7.7/10 , with all things considered. See yall next time at the next spot. One of my favorite coffee shops if not my favorite one in ktown!!! I always get the vienna latte but I also love their dulce de leche latte! Both are a 10/10 from me. The vienna latte is $7 and alwayssss puts me in a better mood. It's not overly sweet and has the coffee taste but is also creamy and light. I don't know how to explain it but it's SO GOOD and is like a light coffee ice cream. The Dulce de leche is great as well and flavors blend really well and you can tell the quality is good! The baristas are also always so nice and are super quick. There can be a line in the morning but you can also order online and they move fast. Though Yeems is the OG matcha spot in K-town, it has seen its better days. The space is small (not meant for sitting down or working), and not much of any aesthetics to speak of, compared to other coffee shops in the neighborhood. Matcha latte was good and creamy, but the ham and cheese croissant wasn't good. It was not warmed up (even though i asked) and it tasted stale and funny. I threw it away after a few bites. The parking lot is also very small and hard to navigate. I think street parking is probably easier. Staff were friendly and work efficiently. read more
