In search of good study cafes in the area, and this one definitely has a lot of table space, chairs and couches as well as free WIFI. There's a parking lot for the plaza but most of it is valet. I tried 2 drinks, and both of them were nothing too special. One was the orange velvet that was a seasonal drink of cold brew, orange juice, and orange zest. It tasted pretty good but definitely on the sweeter side and my biggest issue with the drink was that there was barely any drink!! I feel like the drink was finished in 2 sips. I think the amount of ice in the other drink I got was more volume than the entire first drink. The other drink was a cold brew with a cream top that tasted pretty standard and actually didn't seem sweet at all. The place was busy when we visited on a Thursday night, but there were plenty of seats, making it a great spot to study or hang out. Parking was easy, with $5 valet parking. The vienna latte is perfect for when I want a little energy boost and a treat all in one! It's not too sweet, the right amount of creamy, and none of the components overpower the others. They also throw in a biscoff cookie which is a nice surprise :) I've heard great things about the peanut cream top as well, and can see myself getting that one in the future. The workers have been friendly, and the drinks don't take too long, at least when I go (in the afternoon). RNY is practically a USC satellite campus and I am its newest victim. It continues to survive in Ktown's densest cafe zone by having ample seating fit for both studying and yapping and a small parking lot. It's also surprisingly not too crowded before 11 AM and seating is still periodically available after. I got an Americano with a creamy peanut cream top, which cut through the acidity of the coffee very well without feeling heavy (which is why I got an Americano instead of the latte). They use Stumptown beans, which are prominently displayed behind the counter. My friend got a strawberry matcha, made with milk and fresh strawberry puree. They also have some very entertaining cold brew and drip coffee equipment that you can observe if you sit at the bar! The interior is also very well decorated, with a variety of chairs, tables, and a cute mirror. Their range of prices depend a lot on what you order. read more

After mixing it you do taste the pistachio shine through, no wow factor. Peanut Cream Top -cream top just has a bunch of peanuts crushed into it. While Document's single origin pour over won me over (I'm a coffee traditionalist), it was my wife's Cracking Ferraro Latte that blew my mind. That sugary rush based on coffee and chocolate made for a very tasty drink. It made me wish I ordered the peanut cream top instead of their pour over (which was decent but nothing special). The other drawback was that the employees seemed a bit confused and not happy to be working there, unlike the other places we visited this trip.
