Popped in to this cafe. I ordered their Ryn Dirty Matcha. The baristas take their time with preparing your drinks so you know the quality and flavor is there. So just take a seat and chill until they call your order up. The matcha had a deep, rich flavor. It was topped over espresso so you're getting double the caffeine. I slow sipped this one and took my time to be intentional during the day.
Valet parking in the plaza but you can try finding parking on the street. Menu is small and straight forward. The inside has limited seating and is dimly lit. Got the dirty matcha and vienna latte. The vienna latte was definitely the better option. The drink wasn't too sweet and the foam gave it good balance. The dirty matcha wasn't horrible but the matcha flavor was ok so it's probably better to stick to their coffee drinks overall.
In search of good study cafes in the area, and this one definitely has a lot of table space, chairs and couches as well as free WIFI. There's a parking lot for the plaza but most of it is valet. I tried 2 drinks, and both of them were nothing too special. One was the orange velvet that was a seasonal drink of cold brew, orange juice, and orange zest. It tasted pretty good but definitely on the sweeter side and my biggest issue with the drink was that there was barely any drink!! I feel like the drink was finished in 2 sips. I think the amount of ice in the other drink I got was more volume than the entire first drink. The other drink was a cold brew with a cream top that tasted pretty standard and actually didn't seem sweet at all. Would consider coming back for the working environment but would definitely try other drinks next time.
An EXCELLENT cup of coffee in ktown! If you're like me and prefer the simple coffee drinks to the frilly iced matchas, give this shop a try. They make a serious cup of coffee! Their cappuccino hit the spot- and look at that beautiful latte art!! Also they have a great pastry selection, I tried the Rugelach, which was a roll of chocolate and croissant- it was a great pairing to dip in the milk foam. Lots of seating and friendly service. I'll be back!!
Stopped by and ordered the Peanut Cream Top and Vienna Latte for about $16 total. The place was busy when we visited on a Thursday night, but there were plenty of seats, making it a great spot to study or hang out. Parking was easy, with $5 valet parking. There was only one worker, so the drinks took a little while to come out, but they were worth the wait. I especially appreciated the real peanuts on top of the Peanut Cream Top. It had a creamy peanut flavor without being overly sweet, which I loved. The Vienna Latte was also super creamy, not too sweet, and very aesthetically pleasing. Overall, a solid coffee spot!
Coffee shop / cafe located in Koreatown that offers a solid selection of food items along with their drink menu of coffeeshop classics as well as their signature or specialty drinks. The service here is very friendly and they seem to take great pride in their products. This place is also a popular hang out for people working, writing, journaling, etc. I was actually looking for a coffee and a place to post up to get a little work done in the area and found this place. It was perfect. I ordered the Hojicha Latte and it was tasty. As a bonus, there was a very fun design put on top. There's plenty of outlet cells able to plug in my computer right where I'm sitting. I did what I needed to do about an hour later. It's located in this tight strip mall with limited parking. Parking here could get pretty tough, but I was there on a weekday so wasn't as bad. But I still ended up parking about two blocks away.
The vienna latte is perfect for when I want a little energy boost and a treat all in one! It's not too sweet, the right amount of creamy, and none of the components overpower the others. They also throw in a biscoff cookie which is a nice surprise :) I've heard great things about the peanut cream top as well, and can see myself getting that one in the future. The workers have been friendly, and the drinks don't take too long, at least when I go (in the afternoon). Each time I go there are people seated inside studying or working, so it seems to be a good place for getting work done. The decor is nice as well. I will be back and definitely recommend giving this spot a try!
We stopped here because we wanted a coffee break during our food run. I yelp and this place came up! Rny was located in a plaza with some parking. I ended up getting a berry crunch latte. This latte was on their seasonal menu. This latte was so good! It was so good and I hope it stays on their menu. You have to stir it so you can get the berries flavors mixed in with the espresso. I loved the added crumbs. It just makes the drink. The service was great! Overall, a good coffee place if you're in the area.
Cute neighborhood coffee shop!! I like this place's interior decor and cozy vibes. It's a great place to study with close by outlets and comfy chairs. It's a somewhat small space but there's a decent amount of seating. This shop has a lot of artisan coffee options from different brews to coffee beans. I ordered the cappuccino, and it felt very rich with strong espresso. In the past, I tried their hojicha and matcha lattes which were just okay. I definitely think the coffee here is a better choice. The service has also always been prompt and friendly. My first time here, the barista offered me and my friend to try a new cold drip coffee that they just got in! Super friendly and nice experience.
I stopped by RNY Coffee Studio and had a cortado that was very well executed. The milk was integrated nicely with the espresso, giving the drink a smooth texture while still allowing the coffee's characteristics to come through. The latte art was beautiful, and it was clear that care went into the preparation. My only technical feedback is that the body started to fall off a bit around the halfway point of the drink. The first half had great structure and balance, but it didn't quite maintain that same texture through the finish. A minor critique in what was otherwise a strong cup. Ronin was great to chat with and clearly knows what he's doing behind the bar. Friendly, professional, and someone who takes pride in the craft. It's always nice when the quality of the coffee is matched by the person serving it. Definitely a spot I'd come back to for another cortado.

My fiancé and I were in the area and decided to stop by this coffee shop, and I'm so glad we did. I was honestly shocked to see a coffee shop open until 10pm I really wish more places were like that. The space is super cool and hip with a great vibe. We ordered a dirty matcha and a regular matcha with pistachio foam, and childdddd... it was SO good. I finished it way too fast because it was that delicious. Service was so quick I sat down and the drinks were ready! I definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area. I'm already planning to come back to try their coffee next time!

Nice coffee shop in K-Town. There's valet parking available in the shared plaza, though the plaza was pretty busy when we visited. I really enjoyed the coffee here. Lots of interesting choices. The drinks were well balanced and not overly sweet, so you could actually taste the coffee instead of having it covered up by syrups or other flavors. The coffee itself was smooth, with no harsh or overly bitter aftertaste. I also liked that the flavors complemented the coffee rather than overpowering it. Loved the honey lavender matcha and peanut coffee. The drinks were beautifully presented too, so they looked just as good as they tasted. Overall, a really enjoyable coffee experience and definitely a place I'd come back to try more drinks. read more
i visited RNY coffee studio on a friday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised by how mellow and relaxed it felt compared to other cafes i visited in ktown! the cafe created a great space for heads down work and casual conversation. there is one unisex restroom, stable wifi, and plenty of seating, including chairs at the counter connected to the coffee bar and a large sofa. the hojicha i ordered seemed promising with its deep, rich color, but it ended up being a bit too milky for my liking. 7/10 valet parking in the plaza was available, but i opted for metered parking. read more
We came by Sunday morning to check out Rny coffee studio. As we pulled up to park, the parking attendant started placing cones to block off all the spots at the strip mall for valet parking. Luckily it was easy to find street parking nearby. It's a very cute and cozy coffee shop and there was no line when we arrived. The menu had a huge selection of different coffee and tea drinks and also a seasonal menu. The staff were very kind and patient and swiftly prepared the Vienna Latte and Hojicha Latte we ordered. The Vienna Latte is so visually stunning, the layers of white milk, brown espresso, thick white cream, brown cocoa powder and Biscoff layered on top of each other against the dark green logo was so aesthetic. Having a sip before mixing the Vienna latter was incredible, the sweet cream followed with the nutty strong espresso flavour then getting a refreshing splash of milk made a great combo with the Biscoff. I actually liked the drink less after its all mixed because it was too creamy for my taste. (I normally like my coffee black) My hojicha latte was great, but it was also too milky for me. So I went up and asked if it would taste good dirty, with an espresso shot in it, and the barista said yes. I ordered an espresso shot and instead of charging me full price, they only charged me the add on espresso shot for the drink! ($1.50 instead of $4) It was very kind of them since it was absolutely my mistake for not ordering the right drink in the first place. The shot added much depth and flavour to the hojicha latte I was craving. Thanks for the wonderful service. I'm definitely coming back to try their other specialty drinks. read more

Can't Stop thinking about Their Peanut Cream Top Latte! I asked for it less sweet so the reduced the condensed milk and it was perfect! We also had their MUGWORT cookie that paired perfectly! The staff was very nice and it was a cozy spot to hang and catch up! Can't wait to go back :) read more

Love RNY! Their Vienna coffee is amazing and I wish it was closer to home so that I could come more often. There's plenty of seating around the cafe but not lots of options for bigger groups. Service is always amazing and they are typically pretty fast with orders. Coffee never tastes burnt or rushed which is definitely a plus. Things to Note: * Parking is hit or miss because sometimes the lot is open to all and other times they all spots reserved for valet. read more
RNY is practically a USC satellite campus and I am its newest victim. It continues to survive in Ktown's densest cafe zone by having ample seating fit for both studying and yapping and a small parking lot. It's also surprisingly not too crowded before 11 AM and seating is still periodically available after. I got an Americano with a creamy peanut cream top, which cut through the acidity of the coffee very well without feeling heavy (which is why I got an Americano instead of the latte). They use Stumptown beans, which are prominently displayed behind the counter. My friend got a strawberry matcha, made with milk and fresh strawberry puree. They also have some very entertaining cold brew and drip coffee equipment that you can observe if you sit at the bar! The interior is also very well decorated, with a variety of chairs, tables, and a cute mirror. Their range of prices depend a lot on what you order. read more

RNY is my go-to coffee & matcha spot! It is conveniently located at the heart of K-town, and the interior is well-designed. It is also a great study spot or a place to chat with friends! I always get their matcha lattes and their drinks are simply delicious. The matcha tastes rich, smooth, and sweet. They also offer numerous coffee drinks that are equally as delicious and their pastries are tasty. The service is quick and the staff are very friendly. RNY is one of my favorite cafes to stop by and I always recommend it to my friends and family. read more

Another LA matcha spot off my list. I got the Matcha Cream Top (Cloud) but it was extremely underwhelming. Very milky, and you could barely taste the matcha. I mainly tasted just the whipped cream they put on top. On the other hand, I tried my friends' Vienna Latte and thought that was delicious! The biscoff cookie was a great addition. Parking is free if you're there for takeout. Just mention it to the valet guys and they will let you park on the side for 15 mins. read more

Cute, simple coffee shop with plenty of space and seats Great coffee beans for your standard coffees and they have a great selection of specialty coffee as well! Rny is a local coffee shop in Koreatown with a modern and simple interior, I love the atmosphere and aesthetics here! There's a few tables and chairs to sit down, enjoy your drink and chill or if you're looking for a quiet spot to get some work done, this is a good option. I was around the area and I wanted to come by for a drink. The Matcha Cream Top with the option of pistachio caught my attention, I wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised! I'm a huge fan of both and found the drink was a great balance between matcha and pistachio. I love my matcha on the creamy and sweet side but not too sweet so it was perfect! Service was friendly, the spot is cute, but parking can be a struggle, I was lucky to find street parking a block or two down, the parking lot itself is very small with valet and shared with multiple businesses. If I'm in the area and have some time, Rny would be a spot I'll to stop by again! read more
Located in a plaza with a popular KBBQ spot, parking lot is valet only $5 or park on the street. For reference; on 6th St. 1 hour parking from 9am-4pm except Sundays, parking meters. And No Stopping between 7-9am and 4-7pm except Saturday& Sundays. For Serrano Ave. 1 hour parking from 8am-6pm except Sundays, parking meters. Street sweeping (No Parking) is from 8-10am Wed on one side and Thurs on the other side. For Hobart Blvd. Street sweeping (No Parking) is from 8-10am Wed on one side and Thurs on the other side. Drinks were alright, drinkable.. I wouldn't make my way out here just to come to this coffee shop. But it's an ok spot to stop by to grab after dinner if you're already in the plaza. Matcha Cream Top (Pistachio)- I opted for almond milk substitute. Drink was pretty sweet, should have asked if I could adjust sweetness. Matcha is on the slightly grainy side. After mixing it you do taste the pistachio shine through, no wow factor. Peanut Cream Top -cream top just has a bunch of peanuts crushed into it. I don't recommend this drink to anyone that doesn't like textures. Coffee itself wasn't strong and you mostly taste milk. read more

A chill and cute cafe in Ktown! I came on a weekday afternoon to get some work done with a friend. I ordered the seasonal berry crunch latte less sweet - and it was such a great latte! The coffee itself tasted high quality and it comes with a berry jam at the bottom and a yummy cream top topped with what seems like Oreo crumbs. Service was friendly and they offer free wifi. Although it's a smaller space, it's a great spot for getting some remote work done. Parking: valet parking in the lot, or street parking. read more
Absolutely lovvvedddd the matcha iced latte with pistachio cloud. My drink was $10 tho, $1 for oatmilk and $1 for cloud.. I thought the cloud part was included. Anyway just a little pricey for a matcha latte but it was absolutely delicious so I wasn't mad about it. Presentation was nice. Simple and clean ambiance. Cozy sofas to sit and had some two seater tables along the wall. read more
As I said in my previous review, I came back to get a dirty matcha while waiting for Hae Jang Chon. The dirty matcha still hit the spot like it did last time. If you're lucky, you'll catch street parking or a metered spot, but if not, valet is available for $5 in the nearby lots. The vibe here is super cute, trendy, and modern. It has that hipster feel but with a touch of class. Even the RNY Studio sign in cursive is stunning honestly, you wouldn't even think you're walking into a coffee shop. Inside, it's a little on the smaller side, but still feels open enough to study, catch up with friends, or even host a casual meeting (if you snag seats early). Whether you're solo with homework, meeting one-on-one, or rolling in with a group, it works depending on the time of day. Now for the drinks my absolute favorite is the Pistachio Cream Top with oat milk. I have no idea what magic is in that pistachio cream, but it's ridiculously good. I crave it every time. All in all, RNY Studio is the perfect Koreatown coffee stop for studying, vibing, or just treating yourself. Chic, cozy, and consistently five stars. read more
A clean & quiet cafe in Serrano Marketplace with a shared parking lot. It's valet parking but they allowed us to park on the side because we were just ordering take out. Peanut Cream Top Latte - Yummy. Can't go wrong with peanut butter! Crackin' Ferrero - The frozen chocolate wall is a nice touch. Drink is decent but for the size & price, I wouldn't get it again. My bf really enjoyed it since he loves ferrero chocolates haha. read more
5/5 - Special shoutout to the morning barista, Charity, who was so so sweet & helpful in helping me pick my drink! I've had their fig toast - amazing! Had their lattes, and most recently their matcha pistachio cream top latte and it was really yummy, did get a bit too sweet towards the end, but it was a unique and flavorful taste, something I don't come across too often! Parking can be a hassle since it's valet and usually busy (depending on time of day) but it's not too crazy where you have to wait in line for a long time. Checked out RNY Coffee and loved it. I tried the Vienna latte, which was perfect - creamy, smooth, not too sweet, and strong. Service was excellent and super fast, so it's easy to grab a coffee if you're on the go, but it's also a great place to sit and study. There's lots of natural light, comfy seating, and a calm vibe. Heads up: parking is valet only, so plan for that. read more
Every time we visit Los Angeles, my wife and I make it a habit to visit a few coffee shops. To this day, Document till stands supreme (to me), but RNY came awfully close. While Document's single origin pour over won me over (I'm a coffee traditionalist), it was my wife's Cracking Ferraro Latte that blew my mind. That sugary rush based on coffee and chocolate made for a very tasty drink. It made me wish I ordered the peanut cream top instead of their pour over (which was decent but nothing special). The other drawback was that the employees seemed a bit confused and not happy to be working there, unlike the other places we visited this trip. But, we went around the time they opened and parking was amazing! If you're familiar with that place with Hae Jang, easily getting parking is unheard of! I'd want to try RNY again. read more

We needed some coffee and found this place on yelp. There's a parking lot or street parking. It looks like a small coffee shop but there's plenty of seating. The decor is very nice. There are specialty drinks. The man who helped me was very nice. He made the drinks and they were asthmatically top tier. They tasted amazing it was perfectly blended and it kept we awake. I've been coming here to study over the past few weeks and I have to say, RNY is still at the top of my list! The service is quick and the baristas are always detail oriented! It's generally pretty quiet in here which I can appreciate! The guy with the hat plays the best music! The strawberry matcha has been my recent order, it's always consistent! (I usually ask for it extra sweet) The only downside would be the parking! I wish there was one in the valley, I'd be there every week! read more

I got the vanilla latte with oat milk. It was really good. They use stumptown coffee. They have some specialty drinks with peanut butter too that I will probably try next time. When I walked in it smelled like fresh baked cookies. They had just made chocolate chip cookies. The wait was short even though there was a lot of people. It seems to be popular. They had a lot of seating. Plus size friendly. read more
