This cafe is super cute! The overall aesthetic is a vibe and I could see my self coming to get some work done here. The baristas were also very nice. I ordered the whipped honey latte with almond milk, and it came iced. I asked for light whip. Unfortunately for me, it was way too milky, even when asking for light whip on top. The coffee flavor just did not come through enough for me. I probably should've went with a cold brew. The coffee was also $9. Overpriced, especially for me not to like it.
Coffee MCO is a two-story coffee and espresso bar located on the border of Downtown LA and Koreatown. [Parking]: The coffee shop has a free designated parking lot which I actually appreciate since parking is not easy to come by in this part of the neighborhood. [Amenities & atmosphere]: The restroom is located just outside the entrance and no code is needed. The cafe has a modern and sleek interior which makes this spot an ideal 1st date spot. There is a section where the cafe has various albums hanging on the wall. [Menu]: Some of the highlighted items to order here are Mason Latte, Hojicha Latte, and Brisket Burrito. Kitchen items are served from 8:30 AM to 4 PM. *** Steak Breakfast Burrito (24-hour marinated steak, crispy tots, cheddar, pico de gallo, scrambled eggs, avocado, homemade aioli, served with housemade green aji or red salsa - $21.00): I was given a buzzer only to realize it was for the food order and not the drink. The green sauce was very vinegary with a slightly spicy kick. The burrito itself was not bad as it had all the right ingredients. It took about 10 minutes for the kitchen to prepare this order. Mason Latte (Double shot Espresso, whole milk, homemade brown butter caramel, sea salt - iced $7.75): This drink had to be mixed and shaken first. A solid latte and not too sweet. The flavor was a tad light, but not bad. *** While no food or drink in particular made this place stand out among all other amazing coffee shops in Los Angeles, this is still a solid all-around coffee shop in my book. A big thumbs up on good interior vibe and easy parking.

The drinks that we ordered were the Cohen and Mason lattes and mind you they are specialty drinks. Both of the drinks had more of a milky flavor than the flavors that were supposed to be tasting and that wasn't what we were expecting. I can usually feel the espresso kick after a few sips but in this case I had no kind of buzz going. I have high standards for the coffee shops especially in this area. The space is really cool with an upstairs lounge and a pretty big patio. And that's my take on it, Peace out...
This cafe has nice, artsy vibes (good spot for doing some work) and free parking lot for 2 hours! Also, a lot of outdoor seating as well. I got the Strawberry Matcha Cream Top Latte which was solid. My friend and I shared the Jalapeno Chicken Focaccia Sandwich which was actually really delicious and perfect snack size for 2 people. The flavor combos were good and the textures were just right. It was a bummer we didn't get to try their Steak Burrito (they had run out by like 2 PM), but guess I'll just need to come back!
Drink 3/5 Black sesame cream top matcha was tasty but $8.50 for that cup size is not competitive at all. Service 0/5 Not friendly, not welcoming, did not say hello when I walked in. Ambiance 4/5 Lots of seating indoor upstairs, outdoor near the parking lot area, and upstairs outside. They need to provide shade, there's only one umbrella. Overall, great for hanging out with or doing remote work.
Huge parking lot on site and some of the best matcha in LA. I adore the black sesame cream top and they serve brunch until 3 pm! Outdoor and indoor seating available with multiple stalled restroom. Ambient music throughout (2 storied cafe) Baristas are friendly and overall is a very reliable study/remote work spot !
I love that they have a parking lot behind. It was late afternoon and I didn't want caffeine so I opted for their kombucha. It's not delicious but since I wanted to work my option was limited. Staff were very friendly. There were some outlets around which was nice. One thing I wanted to point out was the bathroom in the outdoor area. It seems like the woman's bathroom is more obvious for most people and the men's bathroom is kinda hiding behind the other side which might be confusing for someone. Right next to the cafe is a travel agency.
K-Town Hidden Gem! I love this place with my whole heart! (I might be a bit biased, but this was where I had my second-date with my now boyfriend) I came on a weekend, and there were relatively a good amount of parking spaces. The security sitting outside is such a kind soul! He's always there from morning to night, so I really suggest striking up a conversation with him! They have outdoor seating (first and second fl), and indoor on the second floor. There's Free Wifi, and the setting is just great for studying or just mingling. If you do come here to hang out, though, be mindful that the indoor- second-floor area is more quiet and reserve for studiers. We got: Strawberry matcha [8/10] : It's definitely more on the sweeter side, but not relatively too sweet (as a person with a sweet tooth) Matcha Latte [5/10]; It's a bit watered down, and I can mostly taste the milk, more so than the matcha.
I came in on a Thursday morning to grab a drink and cowork with my friend, and was pleasantly surprised. There was parking outside for the coffee shop and the business next-door. I loved the decor inside and the fact that theres a seating area on the second floor. I ordered a matcha latte ($7+ tax). They made it super quickly and I went upstairs to find a seat. Even though it was a Thursday, almost all the tables were taken so I went to the outside tables for a little bit. Someone ended up leaving and I snagged their table. One thing to note is that the parking lot outside does say 2 HR visitor parking.
This place is near my job and so I come often. It's easily become my favorite matcha in LA! It's not overly sweet and has a really nice balanced flavor. The cream tops are top tier. Again, not overly sweet but with a pungent flavor of black sesame or whatever other flavor it is. It's perfect, tbh. If you're a fan of good, clean, not-so-sweet matcha, this is your place! The service is always super quick, which I love.
Dear Yelp Community, First time visiting this coffee shop during August. I recommend. I arrived just before closing, and they served me a nice cold matcha tonic on a hot summer day. Excellent! Friendly service. Great ambiance. Indoor (downstairs and upstairs!) and outdoor (front of entrance, side patio, both covered, and a second floor terrace that is currently closed), as well as parking in the back with security. loved the ambience and vibe of this two story cafe. got a strawberry matcha... wasnt very good. tasted like water with a little strawberry. i believe it was also about 7.5 not including tax. service was welcome though!
I love Coffee MCO! Today's my first time working here, but the wifi is strong and I feel productive in this space. There's both indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of outlets, but beware that it gets busy and tons of people come to work, so my advice is to come with a fully charged laptop in case all the seating close to outlets are taken. Their coffee is always so good. I usually do their vanilla bean latte but today I got the mason latte. Both are good, but I still prefer the vanilla. I've had their matcha before as well and it was also delicious. They also have food, but you're looking at $15-$25 for a plate. Overall, great work space with good coffee and food options for an all-in-one.

There are so many cafes in k-town but MCO definitely stands out! Parking: a whole free parking lot (unheard of over here!) Ambience: the best chill vibes! everyone seems to enjoy themselves. Good music, great decor. Lots of seating inside and outside Service: baristas were all so nice Food: flavorful and tasty! Both the jalapeño focaccia and the steak burrito were so satisfying Drinks: 9/10 I like my drinks more coffee and matcha forward, but the flavor of both were delightful! Price: quality is worth the price! A little expensive but its expected in this part of town Love it here though, I will be back :) read more
it was my first visit to coffee MCO, and i'm super pleased with all the aspects of this cafe! it's in a great location, and has plenty of free parking with security outside! the cafe is super spacious with plenty of seating on the 2nd floor and outside. lots of people were working since the cafe offers free wifi. i ordered a matcha latte with oat milk and chose to not add any sweeteners. i was pleasantly surprised by the flavor - it was slightly bitter, but not astringent at all! the drink itself was super creamy, and they use a great, high-quality matcha powder. although it isn't freshly whisked, the matcha was smooth and super delicious! service was also so quick, and i got my drink within minutes of ordering. i'd love to come back and work at this cafe next time! read more

We came on a weekday and it was still busy! Seating upstairs was all filled up and we were lucky to get an open table outdoors. The drinks are pretty special, especially the cohen latte with the early grey syrup. I could taste the early grey Even with the espresso so I loved it. Between the matchas, I preferred the strawberry matcha because the matcha cream top was slightly on the sweeter side. WiFi is good as well. I would definitely come again! read more

Cream top was my cup of tea. This was my first time here. There were a lot of coffee options so it took me a while to decide. I want to try mason latte next time. The outdoor seating area was spacious and parking was easy. It was a good place to hang out with a friend. They also have bakery items. It's a nice place if you're looking for coffee and something to eat. read more
Came here with my two fur babies cause I needed to get some homework done. I was so glad this place had a huge parking lot in the back. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Loved the vibes when I went inside to order my strawberry matcha. They also had dog treats for my boys and of course they loved it lol. Matcha was good and the strawberry flavor was strong. We went to the second floor and there were tables with shade and definitely big enough tables for big groups. Shoutout to the people who posted the WiFi password cause I did not even notice lol. Perfect for a solid day of coworking, lots of seating both inside and out. Breakfast sandwich was delicious and the Mason latte had a wonderful balance of sweet and coffee. Service was pretty fast overall, helpful and friendly. Small lot in the back, but get there early. read more
it's been a while since I've been back to Coffee MCO and I'm glad to say it's still a great spot for work or study. Chill vibes condusive for being productive. Just make sure you are fully charged because your ability to access a power source may be limited depending on where you are sitting. I had their new espresso passion fruit drink and it was surprisingly tasty and refreshing, not too sweet and light feeling. I also had the breakfast burrito, pretty solid flavorful and filling burrito. The service was friendly and they move pretty quick given they can get rushes of customers. Overall, it was a great experience back. read more
This is my first time going to Korea town for a coffee place. We got really lucky because this coffee place has a parking lot. It gets really packed here though! Me and my friend got there early like around 9 AM. And got lucky. I think it starts to get really busy around 10:30. There's a lot of people of fun by. Not like a quiet vibe. But there are many tables and chairs inside upstairs, and outside to hang out. Great aesthetics. I really liked the honey latte. I'd recommend this place. Good for friends. Coffee MCO is deeply rooted in USC cafe studying tradition, so it was fitting that I finally got around to trying it. It's super close and very accessible by the 204 bus. I got the Cohen Latte half sweet, which was perfectly sweet the floral syrup to shine through without tasting purely of sugar. The included oat milk rounded it out as a creamy drink. However, the $8 price point is pretty diabolical even for the 16oz size. There are also very few seats indoors (and the few that are available are very quickly taken), but there are some shaded outdoor tables, just without outlets. read more

Really yummy but expensive! The steak burrito was great but lowkey overpriced at around $20, without tax. it came with a really flavorful green sauce, that paired well with the burrito. But overall I do not know I would pay $20+ for it again. The honey latte was great as well, with a yummy cream top. I would definitely order it again. The strawberry matcha had a strong matcha flavor, it wasnt too sweet as well. The decor in the building was nice and they had great music wall. read more
Plenty of seating and a convenient parking lot! I loved the decor inside and appreciated that you could choose to sit either indoors or outside. Maybe I need to try a different drink next time, but I thought the Mason Latte was just okay. Cute coffee shop with a free parking lot, and there's even security on-site. There is seating upstairs, downstairs, and outside. They have charging outlets, but only a limited number. I wanted to try their chicken panini, but the kitchen was closed on Thursday. Service was nice and friendly. The café has a cute aesthetic and is clean as well. The music is a bit loud, though. read more

Came on a Thursday and unfortunately their kitchen is closed on Thursdays so no hot food for me :( I ordered an Ube Matcha Vienna and the Ube sweet cream foam is so delicious! They have a parking lot and a lot of seating indoors and outdoors. It's very mellow which makes this spot a good place to study or work remotely from. Service is great as well the employees are very nice and friendly. Definitely would recommend coming here and I'm definitely looking to come back here to have some hot food, I've heard amazing things about their brisket burrito and chicken panini. Love the atmosphere here. Drinks are fire! Try the Strawberry Matcha with Almond milk. Staff is very friendly and helpful and genuinely look like they enjoy working here. I'm grateful for my friend putting me on to this spot. So many places to sit and there's 2 floors which is rare in LA coffee shops. If you get tired of going to About Time try Mco coffee shop. There's also free parking in the back with security so you can park with a peace of mind. read more
I got the yuzu honey espresso tonic and WOW--so refreshing. It's the kind of drink that actually quenches your thirst and keeps you coming back for more. I could seriously down five of these and still want another. The space has major LA street vibes, which I love. Plenty of seating both inside and out, so whether you're looking to chill, work, or catch up with a friend, there's a spot for you. Super clean too, which is always a big win in my book. Plus, they have private parking available (I believe it's free), which makes the whole experience even more convenient. Definitely coming back! read more

I love this place!!! I've been coming here for a few years cause I live in the neighborhood. They play great music, has very nice staff and they love dogs! They have so much outdoor seating and some inside! My favorite drink is an iced mason latte and recently I've been loving their blueberry danish!!! Other great items is their strawberry matcha, breakfast sandwich and chocolate croissant!! Everything here is a 10/10 read more
COFFEE MCO Came here to study with my partner and had a pretty good time! I ordered the earl grey latte which was pretty subtle and good, and had a sip of the matcha latte which was also not too sweet and had a good concentrated matcha taste. The price was pretty standard for drinks these days. The vibe of the cafe was great, with pretty musical decor and plants. I do think the layout of the place was pretty, since indoor seats are on the second floor. There are a lot of places to sit, especially outside-but if you're looking for an indoor table you may want to come here when its not busy. When I came here on a Saturday midday, it was pretty packed! I did not try any food but I like that there is actual food as well, in case you wanted to stay longer to study/get work done. I know some of my other friends who have come here to study as well, and really enjoyed it + were productive! Would recommend. read more

Yes and also on the street in the residential area too. Parking lot is always full haha but sometimes I get lucky. Helpful security to find parking for you too.

Yes, there are! The wifi information (network name and password) are posted around the shop, and there are plenty of outlets around when I went a couple of weeks ago.

the earlier you come, the more likely you'll get one. 9am can basically guarantee you a space.

Yes, there is parking in the back. It can be a little tight. But there is parking available on the street as well.
