    1. The drink was delicious and well-crafted! I really like the matcha creamtop! 2. The spot has chill casual vibes! The interior has high ceilings! 3. The staff was friendly and timely with my order! It was ready after 5 mins! 4. I only saw indoor seating available! There is a good number of tables! 5. Parking lot is small, but there is street parking available! Note: This spot does have individual restroom for customers! Photo: Double Matcha

Propose to me with a stagger double matcha. I love how creamy and earthy and smooth it is. AND it is consistent everytime. Stagger is my favorite LA matcha and I will die on this hill. I could drink 2 by myself. I tried their hojicha and it's smooth and nuttiness heaven. I would like to try their coffee sometime and I'm sad I missed out on their jasmine tea coffee. Parking: terrible but worth it. i think theres no $3 valet if you go before noon. Lines seem long but goes by very fast. This place is worth the drive, get at calic bagels down the street too!!

Parking is a little difficult in this plaza but the drinks make it worth it. The matcha with coconut flavor was creamy and tasted premium. This location seemed busy for a Friday afternoon but they luckily have some outdoor seating. There was just enough indoor seating for the people who wanted to study on their laptops and the outdoor was good for people to socialize.

Stopped by for some matcha and it did not disappoint! I ordered both the double matcha and double hojicha, each topped with a thick, creamy layer that had just the right consistency and sweetness. The drinks themselves are on the sweeter side, perfect for those who like sweets! Service was quick and welcoming, the line moved efficiently, and our drinks were ready in no time. The space has plenty of indoor seating with great natural light, making it an ideal spot to study or catch up with friends. Parking, however, is quite limited. There is valet available in the lot, but you may have better luck finding street parking nearby.

We went there on a Monday afternoon. They only offer valet parking so I got dropped off while my husband had to park about a 15 minute walk away. It was pretty hard to find a spot. I ordered their double matcha. This place has been on my list for a while so I was excited to try it but unfortunately the drink was quite sweet. I also noticed a hint of coconut milk in the mix, which I'm not really a fan of. That said, the service was great. Even though it was pretty busy, our drinks came out quickly.

Loved my double matcha! Heard so much about this place, and visiting it was totally worth it! Very delicious and just perfect in the moment. Loved the ambience- very clean, minimalistic, calm and cute! Service is fast and friendly. Loved the spot, would definitely come to try other drinks too!!!!

Cute coffee shop with delicious drinks. Came in and got the double hojicha latte. It was phenomenal. It is very sweet but somehow still keeps the integrity of the hojicha's nuttiness. The cream top is so smooth and just makes the drink so yummy. Parking is kinda terrible here, but if you're able to get a spot. The line moves super fast. From ordering to receiving my drink it took like 3 minutes. Will be coming back next time to try the matchas!

more coffee shop reviews on Instagram @coffeehonglics ! Double Matcha - 9/10 one of the BEST matchas we've had in CA super creamy grassy in the best way possible slightly too sweet for our tastes Hojicha Latte - 9.5/10 hojicha flavor was strong and super nutty cold foam was creamy but a little too sweet would definitely get this again but might try to adjust the sweetness Overall - 8/10 The drinks were a bit sweet but the flavor of the matcha and the hojicha was so good! The interior had a good amount of tables so it's definitely a possible study spot. We didn't take note of the wifi or the outlet situation so we're not sure about any of those things. Parking is hard ‍. The plaza does get crowded and I believe it might be valet only(?). There is also street parking available if you don't mind a little walking. Overall, stagger is a must if you're visiting downtown LA

What's a Stagger review without mentioning parking? It's god awful. The cafe is tucked in the corner, so parking is definitely challenging and the way that there's valet for that little area is insane to me lmao. But regardless, I was a big fan of the double matcha, it definitely gives off a "dessert" vibe by how creamy it is, but I really enjoyed the sweetness it had. If that's more your vibe, then I would definitely say the double matcha is the way to go.

Long line but took about 15-20 mins to get the drinks

10/10. Super clean, modern and high-energy. Service is lightning-fast and the staff is incredibly friendly. * Best Matcha in LA: A total must for matcha lovers. Double Matcha is the OG--don't miss it. * Cream Top: A total game-changer. The sweet white cream balances the Americano perfectly. Line is long on the weekend but it moves fast. High-quality drinks and a chill atmosphere. Whether you're here for the matcha or a solid coffee, this is the spot. Best in town!

High quality matcha and great customer service for a place that has non-stop lines. I almost went with their best seller, the double matcha, but then I saw that they had a seasonal jasmine matcha latte that made me think of Molly Tea right away, and from the picture with the dried jasmine flowers, it seems like it would be a very fragrant and flavorful drink. It didn't disappoint at all--the jasmine and matcha blend with oat milk and half sugar came out exactly as I hoped. The mouthfeel and texture were great and the sweetness was surprisingly what I'd consider almost 100% at other cafes. The only thing was that they forgot to top it with the dried flowers, which was a selling point for me. The servers were extremely nice and patient in spite of how busy it was.

I've had both the double matcha and the coconut matcha, and both were fantastic. I'm pretty picky when it comes to matcha, and this place consistently delivers. You get that real matcha flavor, and it's just perfect. Easily some of the best matcha I've had. There's a good amount of seating, but it fills up quickly, so it can be tough if you're trying to get work done. Parking is the biggest challenge. If you come early, it's not too bad, but around midday it can get tricky. I think they switch the lot to valet at certain times, and street parking in this part of LA can be hit or miss.

As a matcha connoisseur, Stagger has been on my bucket list for ages! Double matcha: 5/5 I loveeee stagger's double matcha. The color alone, speaks volumes of how good the matcha quality is. My only complaint is the size of the cup. I finish it within 15 minutes! I hope they invest in having larger cups available. Service: 5/5 The employees here are super sweet and they are always willing to answer any of your questions. After ordering, our drinks came out fairly quickly and there are free stickers by the register. Ambiance: 4/5 There were plenty of tables and chairs but everytime I stop by there are all filled up. The interior is very clean and spacious though. There is also a patio. Tip: The parking lot is valet only so you'll need to find street parking and walk into the plaza if you don't want to pay to park.

It was really interesting that one of the Americanos was made with Ecuador Los 4 Mundos beans, and the other was made with Colombia El Diviso. When a staff member brought over my hot Vanilla Latte, I asked to make sure it was decaf. He took it back just to double-check for me, and then confirmed that it was indeed decaf. The coffee here is all delicious, and the staff are incredibly friendly, which I really liked. However, the chairs were quite uncomfortable to sit in, and the Vanilla Latte was still pretty sweet even though I ordered it "less sweet." Still, the coffee tastes so good and the staff are so incredibly kind, so it's a really great coffee shop. P.S. A funny thing: They had dog treats in a jar. I immediately thought of my boss's absolutely super, incredibly cute dogs, so I asked for an empty cup and packed some treats to bring to the office for them today. But when I finished my coffee and was heading out, I totally forgot and accidentally threw the cup of treats away along with the empty coffee cups. OMG. (But seriously, all dogs and cats always absolutely love me. Hahaha. When I get to work, my boss's dogs come over wagging their tails and greeting me so excitedly--they are just so, so adorable. And as for cats, there's a stray that I've been feeding every single morning on my way to work for over 4-5 years now. She currently lives at the Buddhist temple I attend. Every day when I go, she follows me around everywhere. She absolutely loves it when I scratch her back with a brush, and when I'm done and try to leave, she taps my foot to tell me to scratch more! It's just so totally cute and lovable. It's a completely white cat, and so incredibly pretty.)
