I can't say enough good things about Series A such a unique and fun spot with a Korean inspired menu. The mango sticky rice green tea was beyond amazing. Oh my gosh, the flavors were so creative and delicious. It was such a fun and layered drink experience! I arrived like 45 minutes before they were closing, and there was still a line. It is so popular which is great to see and totally worth the weight. There's plenty of parking. The staff is so talented and absolutely so sweet. Nick could not have made a better tea, and he was the coolest. He made the whole experience even better with his kindness and great positive vibes. The Peanut Cream Latte is my FAVORITE latte I have ever tried (& I have tried very many lol). It is so unique & creamy, with an earthy/nutty taste from the in-house peanut syrup they make. The workers really accommodate the customers which is so appreciated. If you ask for light cream, they'll do that. If you ask for less sweetness, they'll do it. Corn latte: absolutely bomb. It wasn't overpoweringly sweet, and still had that distinct coffee taste with subtle sweet corn undertones. Incredibly lovely, would get again Cream top matcha: also quite good. Surprisingly did have a distinct matcha profile, and wasn't overpowered by the oat milk we subbed in. Very creamy and I liked it a lot as well for its earthy undertones. Neither of the two drinks featured too much ice, nor too little, which id also like to highlight. In terms of service, the person who helped us at the cashier was not friendly and offered a demeanor that you wouldn't typically prefer from coffee shops, but the lady who got us our drinks was very nice and made sure that our drinks were correct, the milks were accurate, and that we got all the other small items that we needed. read more

Leave some in the drink and it'll melt (it's just sugar) and it'll sweeten your latte if that's what you like. I had a half n half situation where I ate some and left the rest to melt. Blueberry matcha ($8.50)-- Props for making the blueberry jam as opposed to some store bought syrup or jam. You definitely get the pulp/pieces up the straw. Matcha was a bit too grassy bitter for me and there wasn't enough blueberry flavor once it's mixed. It just kind of all dilutes into a milky-ish something. Wouldn't get again. Matcha latte ($7.50) -- Grassy bitter, not my favorite. Thank god it wasn't the one I ordered. Overall matcha is a miss for me. The added simple syrup was free though which is nice. If we all happened to order coffee drinks I think this would've been a 5 star review but unfortunately the 2 matchas really weighing it down. My sheer love for that honeycomb toffee perfection is probably why it's rated 4 and not 3 but yeah... stay clear of matcha and just go for espresso!! This upscale coffee place is always so busy. Comfy velvet chairs, bar stools looking out the window, and plants make for a nice setting. The coffee shop is indoors only. The line was out the door but it moved fast. A mix of different people here on their laptops. Customer service is on point and so friendly! They did not have any decaf of the fancy, IG worthy drinks. The drinks do look and sound amazing though and the person in front of me told me the matcha was incredible. It did look good when they picked it up. A beautiful color green. Next time I'll come earlier so I can try one. No caffeine for me in the afternoon. I got the savory pastry filled with spinach and cheese and the one filled with mushrooms and cheese. Both excellent. Worth the hype! When I arrived on a Friday around 10am, I was able to snag a parking spot. The Series A line was almost around the corner of the store but trust me, it moves quickly. Took me 15 minutes to get to the counter and after ordering, my drink came out in 2 minutes. I ordered the double matcha with oat milk for $8.50 and a pistachio cream croissant, bringing my total to $16.45 before tip. I've spent a fair share of my time (and money!) trying mediocre matchas in LA but this one was a stand out. The matcha is strong, earthy, with light umami, and the salted foam has some sweetness but the cream is not overpowering or heavy. I also noted that alt milks and syrups are free!! I don't know if I'd work or study from there because it was quite loud, but I did see a few folks studying in the area. There is seating in the form of couches, chairs, and there are windows all over, making the vibe clean, elegant, but not pretentious. Also a standout- staff was extraordinarily kind and friendly. I'm used to staff being understandably stressed and curt when working in busy LA shops but the service stood out. Will be back for sure! read more

Stopped in around 2:30pm for an afternoon pick-me-up. I got lucky with parking in the lot in the front of the store. This coffee shop has a lot of unique flavors, which I appreciate. I ordered a black sesame latte, which only comes iced. It has a charcoal cream top and quinoa puffs on top. I absolutely adore black sesame, so this latte was very exciting for me. I'm not huge on super sweet coffee, so I think this flavor was a good choice for me. You definitely can taste the nutty and pleasantly bitter components that are common to black sesame, which I found to balance the sweetness of the cream top well. I got my drink standard, so I believe it was whole milk. I loved the texture of the quinoa puffs on top. I do however wish I tasted more espresso. I really couldn't taste it at all, which was a bummer. The drink cost $8 dollars and is relatively small as well. For what it was, I found the price to be too steep. The baristas were not the most friendly or intentional with customer service either. I enjoyed the innovative flavor, but this wouldn't be a shop that I run back to. read more

It was nicely creamy and not too sweet, and I enjoyed the dried corn bits as well. The second time I went, I got the strawberry matcha. I thought this was alright, mainly because the matcha wasn't as earthy tasting and the milk was a bit too frothy. On my first visit I was too late and they were out of pastries, but on my second I was early enough to grab one. The everything croissant was amazing. Tastes just like an everything bagel but in a crunchy, layered form. It came with a generous amount of cream cheese inside that it was very indulgent. The lady helping us was super sweet and answered all of our questions, which was really helpful since we weren't familiar with the menu. The coffee shop itself is also bigger than most I've been to, so it was really easy to order and get our drinks without feeling crowded. They also had a good amount of seating.
