The Peanut Cream Latte is my FAVORITE latte I have ever tried (& I have tried very many lol). It is so unique & creamy, with an earthy/nutty taste from the in-house peanut syrup they make. The workers really accommodate the customers which is so appreciated. If you ask for light cream, they'll do that. If you ask for less sweetness, they'll do it. They always perform every time I ask for something. The Honeycomb toffee latte is also so freaking DELICIOUS. I highly recommend ittt, but just know it's very sweet. Space was cute, line out the door almost the entire time I was coworking there. Got to the café just after 9am, and stood in line for about 10 minutes. I never make it to this side of LA without complaining and thinking "this better be worth it" and dangggg unfortunately must report that this WAS worth it and I'll have to brave the drive and the traffic again I fear ALSO these drinks are $8 and I still find myself wanting to come back?? In this economy?? The honeycomb toffee was really just THAT good wow Honeycomb toffee ($8)-- MY LOVEEEE what a perfect cup no complaints. The espresso is good, milk ratio perfect, but the star is the dalgona cookie crumbles on top!! As is, it's fun to eat and it's good texture and sweetness. Leave some in the drink and it'll melt (it's just sugar) and it'll sweeten your latte if that's what you like. I had a half n half situation where I ate some and left the rest to melt. Blueberry matcha ($8.50)-- Props for making the blueberry jam as opposed to some store bought syrup or jam. You definitely get the pulp/pieces up the straw. Matcha was a bit too grassy bitter for me and there wasn't enough blueberry flavor once it's mixed. It just kind of all dilutes into a milky-ish something. Wouldn't get again. Matcha latte ($7.50) -- Grassy bitter, not my favorite. Thank god it wasn't the one I ordered. Overall matcha is a miss for me. The added simple syrup was free though which is nice. If we all happened to order coffee drinks I think this would've been a 5 star review but unfortunately the 2 matchas really weighing it down. My sheer love for that honeycomb toffee perfection is probably why it's rated 4 and not 3 but yeah... stay clear of matcha and just go for espresso!! AMAZING! We ordered the Strawberry Matcha (whole milk) , Honey Comb Latte (whole milk). The strawberry component was so fresh and perfectly sweet. The honeycomb latte was a solid latte, as the honeycomb melts it becomes sweeter. Definitely one of my favorite matcha lattes i've had. 10/10 would come back. Worth the hype! When I arrived on a Friday around 10am, I was able to snag a parking spot. The Series A line was almost around the corner of the store but trust me, it moves quickly. Took me 15 minutes to get to the counter and after ordering, my drink came out in 2 minutes. I ordered the double matcha with oat milk for $8.50 and a pistachio cream croissant, bringing my total to $16.45 before tip. I've spent a fair share of my time (and money!) trying mediocre matchas in LA but this one was a stand out. The matcha is strong, earthy, with light umami, and the salted foam has some sweetness but the cream is not overpowering or heavy. I also noted that alt milks and syrups are free!! I don't know if I'd work or study from there because it was quite loud, but I did see a few folks studying in the area. There is seating in the form of couches, chairs, and there are windows all over, making the vibe clean, elegant, but not pretentious. Also a standout- staff was extraordinarily kind and friendly. Wow what a really nice cafe. Upon arrival, I noticed the line, obviously a good sign! Not too much parking, about 15 spots with 8 other businesses, but luckily people are coming in and out. The line moved pretty quickly, about 10 minutes and I was like 8th in line, and after ordering, it was like 2 minutes and my pastry was warm and coffee was perfect. Fun drinks. I tried the corn latte and liked what they did to bring out the corn flavor in a way that it balanced well with the espresso. It was nicely creamy and not too sweet, and I enjoyed the dried corn bits as well. The second time I went, I got the strawberry matcha. I thought this was alright, mainly because the matcha wasn't as earthy tasting and the milk was a bit too frothy. On my first visit I was too late and they were out of pastries, but on my second I was early enough to grab one. The everything croissant was amazing. Tastes just like an everything bagel but in a crunchy, layered form. It came with a generous amount of cream cheese inside that it was very indulgent. This upscale coffee place is always so busy. Comfy velvet chairs, bar stools looking out the window, and plants make for a nice setting. The coffee shop is indoors only. The line was out the door but it moved fast. A mix of different people here on their laptops. Customer service is on point and so friendly! They did not have any decaf of the fancy, IG worthy drinks. The drinks do look and sound amazing though and the person in front of me told me the matcha was incredible. It did look good when they picked it up. A beautiful color green. Next time I'll come earlier so I can try one. No caffeine for me in the afternoon. I got the savory pastry filled with spinach and cheese and the one filled with mushrooms and cheese. Both excellent. I wanted to go to this place for a while. However, the line on the weekends is always insane so today. I was lucky enough to have a doctors office nearby and saw there was no line. I went in in the first thing you see is the case of pastries and the pistachio croissant looked unbelievable so I ordered a pistachio croissant (did not film it because I devoured it so quickly) and the honeycomb latte. The coffee was absolutely delicious with honeycomb pieces on top that dissolved in the coffee as you drink it, and the coffee itself was superb. I would definitely go back here and I would probably even wait in the line. The staff was nice and friendly and the vibe of the place is stark and white minimalist but you can still see the bones of the former coffee bean and tea leaf it used to be. Highly recommend. Series A is a top contender for best coffee shops in Beverly Hills. They have insanely quick service. I got to the place and there was a line that lead outside however it only took me about 13 minutes to order and receive my coffee. Really impressed with the quality of the coffee as well. The ambiance inside is definitely a pit stop for many as they get their drinks and go on about their day. So you can expect the place to be loud and moving. There are seating areas but it's limited. Finally tried series A! This has been on my list of LA matcha spots to try for a while. I went around opening time. They do have a parking lot and if you go early there's plenty of parking available. I tried their matcha cream top and it was amazing. I'd give it a 9/10. It was $8.50 but the cup size is pretty generous considering a lot of matcha spots provide smaller cups for a similar price. My friend recommended Series A for a neighborhood matcha, and I was intrigued by the photos of the "Malgona" on Yelp. I love Dalgona coffee, so I was stoked to try a matcha version. The friendly cashier told me that although the Malgona was no longer on the menu, he could offer me the green matcha cream top drink with honeycomb on the side for an extra charge. But the barista got confused and only made our regular drinks, and after I tried to explain what the cashier had told me, she ultimately gave a side of the honeycomb. The green matcha cream top was super good, both with and without the Dalgona. I'd love to try the black matcha cream top next time. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend the sweet potato cream top latte because there wasn't much sweet potato flavor. read more
