This new Weho gem has everything to offer. Just walking into the space, you are greeted with a clean and uplifting energy. The decor is gorgeous and the space provides the perfect place to enjoy a comfortable morning, a refreshing afternoon, or a nice evening to wind down in. The staff is what sets this place apart. Every single worker I encountered was smiling, friendly, and made you feel completely welcome. This vibe embodies their philosophy. That every cup of coffee is infused with an infinite amount of hospitality. Sami and Ahmed, the young but ambitious owners are always there to ensure that hospitality is what guests feel and remember them by from the second you leave until your next visit. The coffee itself is outstanding, colorful, beautiful, and perfectly crafted from scratch. The combination of love, hospitality, and great coffee makes this the perfect spot to kick start your day or wind it down comfortably. I am rooting for this place. I am an instant fan and cannot wait to see this place grow in this incredible community.

Just discovered Hala Coffee and I'm already obsessed Officially one of the best matcha spots in LA. Smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. New favorite coffee stop

overall, super yum! i got the tiramisu latte, and it had a really nice smooth quality to it on top of its really nice flavor. my friends felt the same with theirs (another coffee and a matcha). the drinks were smaller than expected for the price though (lots of ice, and i paid $10 for my drink). we almost immediately got our drinks after ordering, and it wasn't too busy. seems like a nice open space to study too!

Wonderful first experience and all the drinks that I've tried were really good. Can really tell everything is fresh and made in house. Shout out Katelyn for the amazing customer service!

Such a nice cafe! For a grand opening they have a great selection of drinks, with amazing syrups that are made in house! Ask for Katelyn, she's the best!

I decided to get adventurous and ordered the Bright Flight, which is basically a sophisticated trio of an espresso, a cortado, and a white peach shrub. It's a literal roller coaster for your taste buds--one second you're having a serious moment with a high-end Gesha espresso, and the next you're sipping on sparkling drinking vinegar like a fancy 19th-century chemist. To keep things interesting, I paired it with the Gochujang Grilled Cheese, which features a sesame gochujang loaf and maple confit onions. It's crunchy, spicy, and savory enough to make me rethink every standard grilled cheese I've ever had. The interior of this shop is minimalist, managing to feel both incredibly sleek and surprisingly cozy at the same time. High ceilings and a bright, open layout give the room plenty of breathing space. One of the coolest features of this cafe is that it actually accommodates families by including a kids' play area in one corner. It's a genius move that allows parents to actually sit back and relax with their coffee while the little ones stay entertained. It is rare to find a spot that treats its brewing like a science but its guests like family. Between the high-end Gesha espresso and that addictive gochujang-infused cheese, I've officially been spoiled for regular coffee shops.

I literally asked her where she got it from, and she said Be Bright Coffee. I actually had plans to try another spot, but after seeing that sandwich, my friend and I changed directions and came here instead. First off, the staff was super friendly and welcoming. We ordered a Vivid coffee and another coffee that I sadly can't remember the name of, but both were really good. The only thing I wish was better was the menu display. After ordering, I noticed someone else had this cute little tray with different mini coffees and I had no idea that was even an option. I definitely would've considered ordering that if it had been shown more clearly on the menu. Food-wise, we got the veggie sandwich and avocado toast. The veggie sandwich was DELICIOUS, super fresh, flavorful, and honestly the highlight for me. The avocado toast, on the other hand, was not my favorite. It was incredibly salty. My friend and I split it, and I'm honestly glad we did because it would've been too much for one person. The ambiance here is really cute and cozy. They have fun little knickknacks and items for sale, which made the place feel unique and inviting. I also loved that they had a small little kids' play area. I thought that was such a smart and funny idea imagine coming here as a parent, grabbing your coffee, and sending your kid off to the play corner... LOL Overall, I really enjoyed my experience here and would definitely come back, especially for that veggie sandwich and the overall vibe.

The main thing that stands out here is their 1987 coffee roaster which is the center piece of the cafe. They roast various single origin beans on a daily basis, so you know you can purchase some fresh coffee beans here. If you need your beans grounded, they do grind it for you depending on your brewing method. They have beans of light roast, medium roast and dark roast and sell by various weights for a very reasonable price. They also sell various tea leaves, baked goods (croissant, muffin, scones, bagel, Danish, coffee cake, Dessert Therapy cookies, and merchs. They also have a seasonable menu that changes. When I went, it was the Sakura season menu. Staff were all friendly and were very willing to answer any questions regarding the menu. Please note, the base coffee blend for each day varies and rotates on a daily basis For my visit, I tried ... 1. Buttered Coffee (4.5/5) The base coffee for the day was the Peru single origin, which was well-balanced; slightly sweet with a hint of tartness and nuttiness. They then add a chunk of butter into the coffee, which helps cut some of the acidity, but also is supposed to enhance the caffeine effect and give you additional energy from the fat. It does leave a layer of fat/oiliness so if you are not a fan of that, then this may not be for you. The butter did give it a subtle buttery flavor, which I personally liked. 2. Matcha with Sakura Cold Foam (4/5) The matcha was blended smoothly and was not grassy at all. The Sakura cold foam didn't really taste like Sakura (been to Japan, so know what real Sakura flavor should taste like), but instead, just tasted floral. 3. Columbia Supremo Whole Beans Full body and aromatic. Good for those who like to drink black coffee 4. Guatemala Huehuetenango Whole Beans: Crisp, acidic and a hint of nuttiness Glad I found this local roaster where I'll definitely be coming back to get some more fresh beans.
