Tiny little Australian owned coffee shop with delicious drinks. Good quality coffee/matcha with friendly service. Not a lot of space to sit, but there's three chairs inside and a bench outside I think. No bathroom.
Tectonic is a tiny cafe serving up the best Cafe de olla that I've tried. You can tell the baristas are meticulous in how they make coffee. Very delicious and I'll come back
Stopped by Tectonic and loved it. Staff was nice/welcoming. The shop is cute/cozy and small. My coffee drink was flavorful. I'll be back tontru something new.
Such a cute and hidden Aussie owned little coffee shop! Literally we were driving by and only because of the bright blues and wavy ocean vibes did it catch our attention! Definitely a hole in the wall shop, but they do have a couple of parking spots, a few seats inside and a bench outside for seating. My friend and I walked in to warm greetings yesterday as we popped in for some afternoon caffeination. I had an iced nitro cold brew which was tasty for $7 and my friend had a tonic, we were both pleased with our drinks. Such a cute shop that I will surely pop into to try more of on their menu in the future! As I walked out I joked that I, too, am Australian owned much like this coffee shop - working for an Australian tech comp for 16 years. Har har! I should mention, they did have a vegemite caramel latte drink for $8 on their menu keeping to that line! That will absolutely be what I try next time~ Taaaaaaa!
This is an Australian owned coffee shop and the coffee was amazing! Highly recommend if you want a good cup of coffee! Staff is always so friendly which is always a plus! Its small little place so it does get crowded but its totally worth it! My favourite is their vanilla past iced latte. So good!
Expensive but great Australian coffee shop in the West Hollywood area! I visited this small coffee shop during Pride weekend on a Sunday and it was decently busy. The small space was adorned with Aussie décor and there was a small table and seating area by the window. As a Southeast Asian, I had to order the Milo Mocha as it was a nostalgic part of my childhood and this did not disappoint! The ice drink was chocolatey and yummy! The milo combined well with the coffee. I also absolutely loved the crunch milo bits on the top. The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is because of the size relative to the price. It comes in a really small plastic cup for $9!!! It was very expensive for what you get. However, if price and size isn't a big component for you, it leaves this as a coffee shop serving up some great drinks. I would visit again if I wasn't trying to save too much.
My husband and I randomly stumbled upon this place after eating at Mamie across the street. It's a cute Aussie-owned cafe with a little outdoor patio. The indoor space is tiny with no seating (basically just a counter to order) and a few tables outside. I got an iced Cafe de Olla Latte and my husband got a hot Vanilla Latte. I liked the cinnamon and star anise flavors in my well-balanced latte. I was hoping for a bit more of that orange peel flavor though but it was super subtle. The latte art on the vanilla latte was beautiful. Overall, we enjoyed our drinks although it was a bit pricey for $7.70 per drink but then again, this is LA! Parking: free in small lot with limited spaces, or you can find street/meter parking nearby.
Love this place!! Coffee is consistently delicious and I love all of their flavors. Would come every day if I wasn't so far! It's a small shop but filled out well, seating and merch/beans available in a cute display. Baristas are always super nice, friendly and knowledgeable! Exactly what you want from a roaster's shop. I've loved everything I've ever had from here
Tectonic Coffee nails the balance of quality and vibe. My Matcha Latte with Oatmilk (hot) was smooth, earthy, and perfectly crafted. The space is clean and minimalist, making it easy to relax or focus. Service was quick and friendly--ideal for a morning boost or mid-day reset.
This was my first time stopping by, decided to try it out for a quick breakfast. I was lucky to get parking right up front! I ordered the golden Tumeric w/oat milk and it has to be the best I've had, no joke! Also tried their ham & cheese croissant which was a hearty size ( I saved half for later). I didn't catch the girls name that helped me out but she was super welcoming & very sweet. Amazing customer service, pretty small inside but they do have an outdoor covered area to enjoy your coffee/pastry. I will definitely be stopping by again when in the area!!
Tectonic Coffee Cafe is a small business whose products are just as good as the big players. If you want some coffee while driving around West Hollywood and don't want the corporate flavor, check this joint out.
The service here is always excellent. They have some really fun drinks that I really enjoy trying. If you're looking for new fun coffee or tea, this is the place! The fairy latte was fun and tasty.
Just happened to walk by this place to try it. It was really cute and love that it's Aussie owned. Great coffee flavor and service. I'd come back when in the area.

Cute lil spot with cute lil drinkies. Love that they have crafty creative lattes for you to choose from. It's small, don't expect to come in here and use as a workspace - it's more of a pick up and go situation. The workers are friendly and they put up with all my questions lol. I always love trying out a new coffee shop and since I was in the area, I decided it was time to discover a new one. This is such a quaint neighborhood-type cafe, it almost feels like you're walking into someone's home, in contrast to the hustling and bustling city it's nestled in within Hollywood. It's an Aussie cafe, they have some swag items with what I assume is Aussie slang? And lots of options for what to get to drink. Definitely a pickup and go type spot given the small square footage. I chose the vegemite caramel latte. If I'm trying somewhere new and that somewhere new is Australian, you have to go with vegemite. But I'll be honest, I didn't really know what vegemite is exactly, of course I've heard of it before, but what is it?, I still can't tell you. But the nice lady assured me that they make the syrup in house just using a little of the Vegemite and the drink just tastes like rich caramel. I got it with almond milk. It wasn't cheap... it rang up to over $8. But thankfully they don't charge for non-dairy milk. The portion seemed a little small for such a hefty price tag but given the latte's richness in flavor, it actually was just enough. Good stuff! Check it out. read more

The mini Aussie coffee shop just added the long list of cafes in West Hollywood. It's surely more a grab-and-go style with no seats provided either indoor and outdoor so people mostly just came, ordered, then left. My curiosity was triggered as I LOVE AUSSIE COFFEE! Couldn't skip a day without having multiple cups of joe in Sydney and Melbourne. If you've been to Aussie, you would have known that Milo (malted chocolate drink) is also a big thing there. Tectonic did serve it as Mocha and it's decent enough to satisfy the craving. It's not as sweet as I expected, prolly also because it's balanced by the coffee. The chocolate flavor was on the bolder side compared to the coffee itself so if you fancied your mocha going that way, this might be for you. I also tried their Vanilla Latte and did ask for extra vanilla syrup after my first sip as it's quite bland initially. The coffee overall was good, but I wouldn't call it my favorite. read more

New cafe with great staff! My bf spotted Tectonic along our drive and immediately pulled over LOL. Impressed by his eye (or addiction?) for coffee... Wedged into the street is this tiny lot of a cafe, no bigger than an average studio... Minimalist design with big focus on their drinks. Along with your typical coffee offerings, they have a rotating list of specialty drinks and teas. I decided to be adventurous, while my bf played it safe with a flavored latte. MILO MOCHA CRUNCH: !!!! Must-try! Love the velvety Milo blended between sips and crunchy bits. Surprised they could elevate Milo like this. I've seen Milo blended into lattes before, but they've got the texture and flavor perfected here-- just the right amount of cocoa and nutty. We had a chance to chat with the barista onsite (owner...?), who spoke about expanding Tectonic into its own shop after selling their beans elsewhere. Very humble + knowledgeable. Could not resist grabbing a donut at checkout-- fudgiest, softest donut ever. Great drinks + great taste in pastries. Would love to come back when we're in WeHo again.... read more

Came here after the melrose trading post, this place did not disappoint! These guys know their coffee, they also sell geisha beans which I will come back to purchase one day. I also bought it a cute shirt for $25 because I love the design. read more

Butterscotch latte, was a very smooth drink enjoyed it no bitterness excellent coffee flavor. Not too happy with the size. Wish the drink could be just a tad bit bigger had a pastry, all the pastries are amazing! read more

I enjoyed the atmosphere of this place. Any time you find a spot that is tucked away it is a win. The barista was hilarious. She made several jokes while making our coffees and I would go back just to chat it up with her again. But, the coffee itself was great. I find it difficult finding good coffee spots sometimes, but I would definitely come back here. read more

Intimate and chill coffee shop off Fairfax. Gourmet coffees made by a talented barista to go, or stay awhile in the small seating area inside. May also relax to the cool vibe on the heated outdoor patio area to enjoy your coffee selection and start the day. Enjoyed a turmeric coffee and latte while briefly conversing with the friendly Aussie owner from NSW. Pastries available. read more
