Tried the pistachio latte with oat milk here and it was just okay, 3/5. That said, the coffee itself smells absolutely amazing walking in, and it's clear this place is really built for coffee beans and grounds rather than lattes. I noticed a lot of customers coming in specifically to grab beans, which honestly makes total sense once you're in there. If you're looking for beans or grounds, this is definitely your spot. If you're looking for a latte though, it's not the best. 3/5 if you're coming for a drink! If this review helped, a thumbs up is always appreciated

Steve"s coffee is truly a hidden gem. Located on the 3rd floor, the experience begins the moment you step off the elevator your greeted with the aroma of fresh coffee, crafted lattes and teas, everything is treated with care and refreshing. Perfect place to grab a drink, abd reset. They share a space with Legacy Work Space and dynamic work space environment design for doers and creators and professionals who want to stay motivated and productive. I recently meet with a client and the accommodation were EMPOWERing and welcoming. If you in the area, check them out and tell them Team Smiley sent you

Went to Steve's coffee for the first time. The staff were all friendly and helpful giving me a run through of the shop. The cashier's recommendation was wonderful and I can't wait to go back!

Just updating that no matter what coffee shops I go to all over this great city of hours, Steve's Coffee Roaster remains the GOAT. I am absolutely addicted to getting my pound of freshly roasted Guatemalan Huehuetenango Beans from there. Everything always taste so good and it's a true community.

I recently started making my own drinks since I bought a espresso machine, I try to go in every Sunday and buy 1lb of Java. Service is really good, baristas are really nice and I always get a coffee with my 1lb of beans. I love this place.

Quick and fast service with a variety of offerings. It's a cozy little cafe that has a nice outdoor seating patio. They have a "coffee of the day" that picks amongst its variety of beans for the day's brew, but there is also an option to try a shot of their other beans available. Highly recommend the Colombian blend.

They use Onyx (from what i noticed), and the sound of the milk being steamed sounded silky (-: ! I think saw they used a bottomless portafilter ? Might have mis-seen. But for those unfamiliar, bottomless doesn't divide your shots into two physical shots. so it looks like "one" shot. but it would be 2 shots if it had that attachment. Shots are dialed by weight, so your coffee will be consistent! The layout of the cafe is nice: entry/line formation moves in a counter clockwise motion. Allows customers to enter space and wait in line while leaving space for people to exit/ wait to pick up their drink. First come, first serve for pastries - expect this for freshness purposes. Drink and their components are measured for consistency and quality control. Wait is subjective in relation to volume at the time which you go. Came in at about 1:30 PM on a Sunday (today was 8/16). Curated menu for their specialty drinks that aligns with their identity. Standard menu for espresso based beverages. Great selection for their Single Origin menu. Roasters they use align with those they highlight on their shelves for retail as a multi-roaster cafe. Ordered a Columbia from Hydrangea - enjoyed thoroughly! When it was still quite hot you get the heavy aroma and flavor of the pastry notes in the coffee. Then more tea-like once it cools down more. Coldbrew in the Woodman did not feel like your typical bold-in-flavor base. Which I think works for the inclusions in the beverage. Not your typical/second wave coffee shop. It's cool to see shops want to bridge that gap between fun drinks and specialty coffee! Kudos to Lynx!

Most places don't quite hit that invisible bench mark I've set inside my head. A friend and I came in at lunchtime intending to order lunch and coffee, but we had to leave without ordering because there was nowhere to sit. About ten of the available tables were each occupied by a single person working on a computer. I understand that cafés can be comfortable places to work, but in such a small space, it would be helpful if Saint placed some limits on laptop use during busy meal hours. Customers coming in to enjoy lunch or coffee together should also have a reasonable chance of finding a table. I truly hope they address this, because I would like to keep supporting this lovely neighborhood café.

Actually, all of their employees. Place was packed. Wanted to see and know the sizes of the cups for me to decide which one to go with and the price difference. I thought that they would also have some breakfast items like egg, bacon, sausage, cheese etc..they didn't. They only had plain bagel and Cream Cheese. My Latte tasted very good, on the flip side the Croissant wasn't as warm and fresh as I wanted for it to be. I asked the ladies behind the counter to warm it up again. The muffin was very fresh and delicious. Lauren handed me the Latte and my goodies. I don't want to dock a star for the Croissant, but it could have been a lot more fresh. Place was clean, with one gender neutral restroom, inside and outside seating, and the price was right for the 3 items that I got. $14.00 in total plus my tip of $2.00. Street parking only, woman owned, beautiful art work on their walls by famous artists, merchandise for sale, and nice music from the 80's playing overhead. Last but not least, under the businesses amenities page it says, no dogs allowed. It was dogs galore inside and outside. No offense to people who have dogs, but outside is ok, not inside..

The coffee can be bitter, and sometimes you order a vanilla latte and can barely taste any vanilla. But Cara Vana gets it right. Their Horchata Iced Latte is absolutely delicious! I always get iced coffee, and this one has quickly become a favorite. It is definitely on the sweeter side, which is exactly how I like my coffee, but they have no problem modifying the sweetness if you prefer it less sweet. The horchata flavor is actually distinct and tastes SO good with the coffee. It doesn't just get lost in the espresso. The shop itself is also really cute, with a modern Latino flair that gives it a great atmosphere. And of course, I love supporting Latino-owned businesses! The staff are always so kind and welcoming, too, which makes the experience even better. And I have to mention the green burrito and the salsa they serve with it. Both are a MUST try! The barista was playing games on his phone while I was speaking to him, and I could clearly see that he was still on his phone because of the way he was positioned. I was already frustrated by the lack of attention, but things got worse after I finished ordering. After I tapped my card, I was told that there had been a mistake and that I had only been charged 9 cents, so I needed to come back and pay again. Mistakes happen, and I would have completely understood if he had simply apologized and handled the situation professionally. Instead, he continued playing on his phone while dealing with me. The entire interaction came across as incredibly rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Customer service should be the bare minimum, especially when someone is taking the time to come into your establishment and spend their money. Unfortunately, this experience was enough to make me realize that this would be my first and last visit. There are plenty of coffee shops where customers can get good coffee and basic courtesy.
