Thought to try this quaint coffee joint. Found through TT. I went right when the opened to avoid any potential crowd. The ambiance was a very minimal decor, they kept it simple. The employees were friendly and hospitable, even though it in the wee morning. The open windows concept is different. I feel like it might cause problems in the future, somehow, someway. Well because of people. Anywho, chill place to stop by. I didn't drink the coffee, the wife did.
Ahhhhh!! I'm so happy they added two size options to the menu!!!! Our order came out super quick, and tasting PHENOMENAL... as always and as expected! I shared the breakfast burrito with my friend, the one with hash browns, eggs, avocado, and bacon and it was to die for. My coffee and half a burrito kept me stuffed all day. I love love love it here!! I keep coming back for more The vibes and ambiance for a Friday was chill with a bit of foot traffic, people quickly coming and going with some people sitting and enjoying their coffee + company. Thank you guys for maintaining your quality and customer service!
I've been waiting to stop by this coffee shop for a while and made the trek a few days ago after a massage appointment nearby. I ordered a Coconut Water Matcha Cloud. The girl at the register asked me if I've had it before- I guess people order it without realizing it's made with coconut water (?)- I said I've had it at a different coffee shop and really liked it. It comes topped with a cloud of matcha cream. I like that it's refreshing without being overly sweet. That being said, a 12oz cup was $8 not including tip. The prices felt pretty steep if I'm being totally honest. The drink was delicious but this isn't a place I'd order from on a regular basis (in this economy?!). Overall, it was a nice, refreshing treat. The ambiance is lovely- they have windows that open up all around the shop and peek over an outdoor seating area. Super cute vibe overall.
Went to a Pilates class down the street and lucky for me they were still open in the evening. There were a lot of good drink options on the menu. I honestly didn't know which to go with, but for my first time I went with the Day Date Matcha. I really enjoyed this flavor combination and would get again. We also tried the passionfruit matcha and it tasted more like a green passionfruit juice. Drinks range from $5-$9 They are open until 5pm and then re-open from 6pm-11pm (Tuesday thru Sunday) for the evenings along with a DJ and Greek food from Yasu Guys out front. It's a whole thing and smart move. I would like to try a few more items from here when in the area.
I got the Iced Black Sesame Latte ($9). It was creamy and not too sweet, which I appreciated, but I was hoping for a stronger black sesame flavor. It came off a bit subtle for my taste. Still, it was smooth and enjoyable. The pricing is definitely on the higher side, especially considering the portion size, even for the largest drink. Parking is mostly street metered, with some neighborhood street parking available, but it can be a bit difficult to find a spot during busy hours. Overall, it's a nice place to try at least once, but I'm not sure I'd return often given the price-to-value.
This place has a lot of hype and I needed to test it out. The way they decorated the place is cool and the line went by fast. I ordered a banana peanut butter matcha (peanut butter cream top). All of their drinks looked yummy! It was a good matcha, I would come back. Not too sweet and the cream wasn't thick enough for my taste but it did the job. I would come back to give it another shot.

First time here and not impressed. First of all the wait time is horrible. I waited for 25 mins for my drink and it was so little that it took me few sips to finish it. By the time I got to my car it was gone. The drink tasted ok, similar to Starbucks shaken expresso taste but with a nicer cold foam. Not sure what kind of beans they are using here. Very loud music so people talk louder to hear one another. Very unpleasant ambiance indoor. Maybe the outdoor seating is better if you are not having it to go. . Online orders get pushed up so you just sit here and wait and wait. Parking was hard to find on a Sunday afternoon Customer service was not friendly except the person that handed me the drink. At least he thanked me for waiting for so long. ...
Crema is definitely a cute new addition to Sherman Oaks the corner location, open-air vibe, and trendy aesthetic make it a fun spot to check out. The owner was genuinely sweet and welcoming, which I really appreciated. My friend and I both ordered the Crema de la creme and here's where my experience was mixed. It seems like this drink is not consistent, I've seen photos online where it looks totally different than the one we received. Unfortunately, both of us found the flavor to be bitter and a little "off." I didn't even finish mine, which says a lot because I normally love coffee drinks. For the price point, I expected a better balance and taste. The vibe is great, and I can see why people come it feels trendy and photo-worthy. But at least for this visit, it felt like the ambiance and branding outweighed the actual product quality. Maybe I came at an off time, because the reviews seem strong, so I might return to give another drink a try. For now, though, my experience lands around 3 stars or 3.5 if judging by the friendliness, location, and atmosphere alone. Cute spot, worth checking out once, and hopefully next time the drinks hit the mark!
Not surprised at all, jam-packed venue, long lines, people standing at almost all corners waiting for their drinks, and extremely tricky parking situation *sob*. My first impression, 'this better be good'. I could easily see the place as a perfect spot to hang, being semi-outdoorsy, if only it wasn't this crowded. But hey, I'd just embrace it and honestly this should be expected for any new spots in LA. They offered handful of signature options, some of which weren't that commonly offered elsewhere. They even had their winter specials as additional choices. If you fancied some munchies, they offered pastries from Bread Lounge and Breakfast Burritos. Reading some reviews, seemed like they're kinda polarized so I decided making my own choice of order. The most peculiar one IMO was their Date Day, serving your choice of matcha or espresso with date syrup, milk (of which I picked almond), and cream top with cute 'date skewers'. I would agree with those saying the coffee was more on the acidic note, which fortunately got masked a bit by the date syrup. The default was slightly too sweet so recommended to request for less sweetness if you weren't big sweet fan (disclaimer I love sweets!). The date flavor didn't stand out to me, but the syrup still tasted decent. Would I come back for the same drink? Prolly not, bur I might for either their Double Matcha or Creme de la Crema, just for curiosity!
This spot is so cute! This would be a great place to grab coffee with a friend or even pop up your laptop to get some work done. I like that it's a very open concept with the inside of the shop being open to the outdoors. There's plenty of seating outside on the sidewalk and some bench seating on the inside. Might be tough to grab a seat cause it's busy! I got lucky. I got a Matcha latte and a cold brew. Cold brew was very mild, and the Matcha was really great quality! I don't like my Matcha latte sweet, so I can taste the full Matcha flavor. It was very bold, but not too bitter. They didn't have any pastries when I came by later in the afternoon so probably more of a morning thing. I would definitely come back to try more of their Matcha drinks specifically the yuzu Matcha which sounded really interesting as well as the date Matcha drink. I love to see another mom and pop coffee shop open up in the valley! Also their logo is really cute. Overall, very hip vibes here and good drinks! I didn't really wait that long for my drinks either. Very kid and dog friendly!
I drove fast past Creme Cafe on Ventura Blvd and it had the most beautiful vibe that I turned back and knew I had to go in. There's a soul of this place and a kindness. The music was on point and the people were fun! I love the seating and the windows being open as the somewhat cooler be breeze blue in. This is a good place to post up journal and enjoy their freshly brewed drip brew. They have understated coloring books for the kids and welcome dogs, too! Great job everyone. I def wanna try that breakfast burrito next time! I'll definitely be back and maybe I'll drive that moped around in the lobby - or at least rev it! See you all soon! Vroom!

Really cute spot and definitely worth checking out! It's small and gets pretty crowded inside quickly. They offer a variety of drinks and refill their pastries daily. It's a great selection and some of the combinations work wonderfully. I'm not a fan of all of their drinks, but it's not bad. It's more a personal preference on how they make their drinks and it's just got a unique touch to it. This is where I say to each their own. Give it a try and see which ones you prefer. Customer service is wonderful! It's always nice to come here and talk with the employees. They're great people overall and they seem to be of similar personalities. The indoor space gets filled up very quickly. It's an open area, but there's almost always a line out the door. They can get really busy and your drinks may take a while if you come during peak hours. Thankfully, they might open up the window so an outdoor breeze comes through. This way, the place never gets humid. Plenty of outdoor seating areas if you want to spend more time here. It can be hard to get here because you have to street park, but it's worth it. read more

I am going to start my review with their unpleasant music. At a place like a nice Coffee Shop, I, personally would prefer to hear more upbeat music like Pop, Classic Rock, Jazz, or even some sort of instrumental music. What were they playing? Rap. And ONLY Rap. It was so annoying. I guess this is what the new generation loves. Walked in yesterday at 2:15pm, and got a very nice, pleasant, warm welcome from Michael and Joey. Both great and happy kids. Michael took my order and was pretty knowledgeable with the menu. I ordered the Crema Burrito that came with: Tator Tots, Scrambled eggs, Avocado, and Jalapeño. They had 2 of the same Burrito. One with Bacon, and the other one w/out ($15.56). Portion of the Burrito was very small for the price, and was lukewarm. Food overall along with beverages were expensive! I also got a single butter Croissant and asked him to warm it up. The Croissant was nicely warm, flaky, buttery and very good! ($6.23). The Baked Goods case was practically empty. Wanted a Blueberry Muffin, and they were out. Last but not least, got their 16oz. Coconut Cloud Matcha ($9.34). Matcha was made perfectly. I still had to water it down a little. The flavor hit the mark though. Trying to get more familiar with different types of Matchas. The Coffee Shop was clean and very quaint. Also, comfortable seating with round, brown cushions. When you walk in, it's hard to miss the nice motorcycle right in the middle of the shop. I wanted to know what did that represent? Michael said that the owners wife bought that for her husband. Where can I get one? The husband, not the motorcycle.:-) They have no parking, only street and metered. Nice outdoor seating all around. Gender neutral restrooms and it was somewhat clean. Will I return? Not any time soon. Place has been open since November of last year.. read more

I should have been the FTR since I've been watching this coffee shop get established for months...From Club Pilates that is...LOL! Today I saw the balloons and customers going in and out while in class & made my daughter go with me when we were finished:) We walked inside and ordered our drinks with the owner Dasha, who is adorable BTW and very friendly. The baked goods looked fresh but I was all about the coffee...of course... The baristas were working calmly and efficiently to get the orders to the customers. The wait time was not fab but will chalk that up to just opening yesterday. I ordered a Signature drink: Creme De La Crema @$8 which was iced. It was very good but too small for me (12 oz)... *Unfortunately, this place only has 1 size - 12 oz for iced & hot. With that said, I will try a hot drink next time to get more bang for my buck. TLDR: The latest bombshell coffee has arrived specializing in some really unique matcha flavors, with good seating, and decent parking. New coffee shop just dropped! And honestly this place is hitting the spot for me than some recents I've tried. Ordered: Iced Date Matcha wo cold foam (4/5) This was actually a special menu item and the cashier reccomended that if I wanted something less sweet I should go for it. And she was right. I think this had the perfect amount of sweetness (which was not actually sweet at all?) With that said it might be someones cup of tea more with the cold foam. Ambiance: 3.8/5 Here's my thing about shops now is that there's actually not really seating for you to sit there for several hours and crack a book open. There's tables along the perimeter but inside its just those half desk situations you'd find at in a college classroom with a long bench to supplement it. Its cute but not very cozy. The interior however is very cute and without all the tables inside it does feel airy, open and inviting. Parking: 3/5 Its on ventura so only metered but its off the corner of woodman and ventura and dare I say a better block of ventura to actually find parking than I'd say for anywhere else. So by its standards I'd say its "good" I definitely am excited to come back here. The service was good, the music was good and my order came fast. Hope to see this place around for a while. read more

Came to check out the new coffee shop and left underwhelmed. I was initially excited as Crema's logo design looks so cute and I hoped this could be a fun new coffee spot in the area to add to my rotiation. Parking on or near Ventura is always an experience, there is no parking lot in the back available for customers, which leaves customers having to circle the block and pray a few times to be able to be lucky enough to park close by. I had to park on the side street this cafe borders, about slightly over a block down inside. Parking here is also restricted so please check signage before leaving your car. Ambiance wise,,, I do not understand this new design trend of making your coffee shop as uninviting as possible. There is nearly exclusive indoor seating (fine) but the interior seating arrangements make it uncomfortable and unwelcoming to sit and stay longer than maybe 30 mins. They also leave their windows wide open, which sounds fine in theory!, but they did this during the week it was pouring and it blew in cold air and literal rainwater into the shop?? I understand wanting turnover to accomodate for more customers but yeesh this was,, an experience Hot chai latte 2/5, tasted like slightly spiced hot milk, definitely needs more chai spice / blend. incredibly small for the price. Finally made my way around to Crema. It's located on a great corner, with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Customer service was super friendly and accommodating. They took time to explain the menu to me, and recommend the most popular drink items. I can highly recommend getting the Crème de la Crema. Basically, their twist on an iced coffee/latte. 10/10. read more

I had been watching and waiting for this new cafe to open and I finally got to try it. It's a charming, open concept space with a few seating options, but my favorite feature is the large windows that open up to the street, making the space feel even bigger and more inviting. The menu is fairly simple, offering the usual coffee selections, but what really stands out are their unique matcha and tea options. They have a coconut matcha, a date matcha, and a few fun tea blends that you don't typically see elsewhere. They also offer some pastries and breakfast items, but they tend to sell out quickly, so go early. I ordered the double matcha and it was perfectly sweet, just the way I like it. Parking can be a bit tricky since most of it is metered and the residential spots nearby can fill up fast. Luckily, I live just a few blocks away so walking over is easy for me. This is more of a 3.5 but giving a 4 for a few reasons. Ambiance is great. This is a shop that reminds me of Korea or Europe; not overrun with parked laptops. The interior seating promotes it being a spot to catch up with a friend, rather than a work station. Staff was so lovely, welcoming and kind. Decor is top notch. It's very vibey which makes me understand why it's so crowded. Tough to get a seat anywhere but we were able to sit outside for a bit. Love the open air windows. And why it's not a 5. Tried a cold brew and a regular latte and both were just fine. Nothing spectacular. There's much better coffee elsewhere. It took 30+ minutes at 130p on a Sunday to get the latte. It was busy but that is an absolutely insane wait. Especially when the drinks aren't worth the wait. They only have 2 espresso taps so assuming that + the crowd is why. Probably would choose a diff local coffee spot next time. read more

Crèma is finally open! Yay! Been waiting for this day to come! Love the coffee selections brought to us on Ventura blvd. Crèma is definitely a hit and will be! Today was the grand opening and it was easy navigating by to get our coffee compared to other grand openings. Dasha took our order and she was so sweet! We have a simple order, iced lattes and holy... they taste amazing! You can tell when your coffee is gonna be milked down, this one was perfection. Can't wait to be come again and try their other drink selections. read more
I recently saw this place was going to open, and if you know me, I'm always on the hunt for a new coffee shop. Sunday morning, with a little sprinkle of rain, I walked down to the corner of Cremá big windows, nice views, and definitely a vibe. They were playing great hits too, from Frank Ocean to Daniel Caesar. I had already checked the menu, so I went straight for the special drinks: Crème à la Cremá and Day Date. Hear me out the Crème à la Cremá was strong and a bit sweet, just how I like it. And of course I had to try the Day Date because there's nothing else like it... but ugh there was nothing "date" about it besides the actual date. The matcha itself was good and creamy, but I wouldn't call it a date matcha. My only complaints: it's a small spot (the vibes are there though, so maybe they just need a bigger space), and there's only one cup size. Lol. The pastries are from Bread Lounge which is a plus because their pastries are so good. Sorry, I saw the box. I'd definitely come back. The service was friendly and pretty fast, but it does get crowded, so be patient. read more

I visited this new coffee shop this morning and was really excited to try it out because of videos I've seen on instagram/tiktok. The aesthetic is really cute- the space feels more like a spot to chit-chat with a friend rather than a place to study since the tables are pretty small. Service was friendly, but unfortunately the drinks weren't really that great today. The hojicha latte that I got was watered down and overpowered by the sweetener. Then the espresso drink I got (crème de la crema), had a strong sour taste to it, not sure if it was the beans or just bad espresso pull. I do hope that they can fine-tune things as they settle in because the vibe is great -- I'm just not impressed with the drinks so far. read more

Ambiance is really cute but the pastries were bad (old?) and the drinks were over priced for average taste. To be fair I got matcha I wasn't impressed with but my boyfriend thought his coffee was decent. Took a long time to get drinks and the amount was small. read more

I visited on a Saturday around 8am and there was only one person in line. I ordered the iced matcha latte with almond milk and agave, and it was good! The staff was kind and greeted me as soon as I walked in. They also sell pastries and burritos, which I didn't get to try this time, but I will definitely be back to check them out! read more
Crema in Sherman Oaks on Ventura Blvd is a cute, dog-friendly spot with a chill atmosphere. I got the Einspanner and my friend ordered the Crème de la Crema -- both were good. Worth stopping by if you're in the area and want a cozy place to hang out. read more
This place has an open concept and big wide windows for natural sunlight to come in. It's a cute shop that serves good coffee. I got the creme de la crema which is their cold brew topped with their special cream. I usually don't like cold brew cause it taste too sour for me but this was really good. I would want to go back and order the other things on their menu. Staff is so helpful with explaining what the differences of what is on their menu. There's a fresh, new and beautiful little spot in Sherman Oaks to get your caffeination situation on. Crema has the cute vibes and feels to put a bounce in your step. Simple menu, with a nice assortment of pastries as well as a breakfast burrito are offered in an open air setting. Street parking is available. Just don't be that entitled person and pull up to the red zone and leave your car. I saw 2 people instantly ticked by a parking bike cop. FAFO as they say. Which of the coffees can be made dairy-free/ vegan? I'm interested in the Crema Fog, the Toasted Black Sesame Latte, and the Salted Maple Latte specifically. I know it says "choice of milk" but one contains milk-tea and another condensed milk.
