The service is incredible here. I came in a 9:40 and there were 3 people working. They had a really great system in place and were very organized behind the counter while having a pretty full house in the cafe. My drink came out in less than 5 minutes and the color of my ice vanilla latte is perfect! The flavor is perfectly balanced. It isn't overly sweet or bitter (from the coffee flavor), it's sooo good. I can't wait to come back and maybe try some pastries!
Not a regular to the area, Tortoni caught my attention as I was trying to find a cafe nearby and seeing it being one of the highly rated. Having both indoor and outdoor patio, the capacity was decent and despite being busy the people's turnover went pretty quick. Their baristas were super helpful and patient waiting for me making my decision as I was firstly bit overwhelmed looking at the option including their seasonal fall drink menu. Ambiance wise, so long as you're fine with bit loud background noise, you'd be okay. I ended up following the crowd with their favorite Nutty Latte, which came with blend of macadamia and hazelnut syrup. They served Verve coffee beans so their coffee was pretty good, lil bit on the milky side for my liking but plus point was prolly it would suit those who fancied just subtle level of sweetness for their latte. I did enjoy the nutty aromatic hint from the coffee. I also paired my coffee to their walnut pastry which was enjoyable buttery nibble especially as they offered reheating pre-served!

Maybe it had gone the bite I took had a weird taste to it and the liquid had bubbles. Anyways when it's good it's great. The empanadas too.
Regular here! I love this coffee shop. The service is amazing, friendly and very neighborhood/ around the way feels. It's cozy and vibrant but they are efficient. They know my order and it adds the perfect touch. I'm better with faces but I am working on names! Shout out to Elle, Joey, Nick and Juan. The 4 of them are the bees knees. Perfect location, customer service and overall vibe. Please visit!
Got the Aztec Mocha, literally tasted like water. No chocolate taste whatsoever. The Spinach empanada was good.
Nice little hidden Jen right next to 405. Loved the spot- they have a lot of drinks that are handcrafted pretty fast. Ambience is nice and playful but also calm, so you can come and work in a quiet environment! Service is nice and friendly and pretty efficient too.
The manager who took our order was super sweet & helped me choose a drink i would enjoy. She was patient, helpful, & a great manager! The staff all looked like they worked together seamlessly & the vibes of the shop were perfect. The music matched the vibes & the coffee tasted absolutely amazing.
First time at Tortoni Caffe! It's a cute cafe with friendly staff. I parked in the private lot next door without any issues. I tried the Golden Maple latte bc I stupidly thought that it was a latte sweetened with maple syrup only. Luckily the ginger and turmeric flavors were subtle. It was a nice and cozy drink. I'd like to try other specialty lattes next time!
After driving by a couple hundred times decided to stop in and try it finally. Staff was very friendly, parking can be a bit tricky with no dedicated lot and only meter parking. The coffee is really good. Went with a vanilla latte and it's one of the better ones I've had. Also tried the cinnamon pinwheel pastry. Was really good warmed up and very buttery. Not too loud inside, fair amount of people working remotely as usual, and to be expected in any Los Angeles coffee shop.
The empanadas were delicious! We ordered 2 Breakfast, 1 Corn, and 1 Spinach. I enjoyed the breakfast one the most, it was cheesy and meaty and a great way to start the morning. Spinach and corn were also delicious, use the chimichurri that comes with them! I ordered the Horchata latte and it was sweet and flavorful; cinnamon was pronounced. Service was 10/10! Everyone was kind and we loved Carina! She spoke to our group and made us feel welcome. I truly enjoyed listening to her stories. We sat outside and had plenty of seating for our group of 5. Parking was iffy but street parking is available if you don't mind walking.
Can't wait to return to Tortoni Caffe. Ordered the Spanish latte. Was impressed with the service. Courteous and helpful. Some really nice looking quiche and bakery items. Cute decor. Coffee was good.
Decided to drop by this place since it was near our destination this morning! Parked nearby along Ventura at a metered parking. Pretty busy when we dropped by around 11am but they brought out the drinks QUICK!! Super satisfied with how short of a wait it was for our drinks. I went for an iced nutty latte 16oz and my bf got a hot green tea. Super small coffee shop and since it was so packed, we were awkwardly standing in the middle in front of the door basically. The seats and tables were all full and there wasn't really a good spot to wait. Thankfully the drinks came out really quick so we were in and out of there in no time. My experience in Tortoni, was pleasant I got a mushroom coffee Americano and tried the spinach Parmesan empanada. The empanada came with a tasteful green Chimichurri sauce that complimented the empanada really well! I would definitely comeback to try a different empanada and comeback for the mushroom coffee.

Came here with a friend for a little catch up session! I had also bookmarked this spot for a while now and was super excited to try it. I got the dulce de leche latte on ice and it was delicious! Not too sweet and was able to taste the coffee - which is hard at some places. The staff was super friendly !! The guy that helped me was a gem! The location was also clean and had indoor and outdoor seating. The vibes were great- and I'd def go back! There is street metered parking as well ! read more

The Horchata latte is SO yummy! I love to try drinks I know I might not be able to try many places else, and it was definitely a hit the breakfast empanadas are also SO yummy. Wish they were bigger, because one WASN'T enough. So good!!! The space is small, clean, and eclectic in its modern and Argentinian decorations. There are plenty of spaces to co-work, chat, and kill time -- both inside and outside. The staff was super friendly and excited to serve us. Definitely a great coffee shop in the area. read more

My experience in Tortoni, was pleasant I got a mushroom coffee Americano and tried the spinach Parmesan empanada. The empanada came with a tasteful green Chimichurri sauce that complimented the empanada really well! Recently I visited Sherman Oaks for a special errand. Since I don't visit this neighborhood as often as I used to, I didn't want to waste the trip. After a quick Yelp search, I decided to stop by this café for a cup of coffee. Inside the café, customers will notice Argentinian and U.S. flags and glass display near the cashier counter with food items like empanadas and quiches. [Parking]: Local street metered parking on Noble Ave - $1 per hour with a 2-hour maximum limit. [Menu]: Yelp's top highlights include the Iced Horchata Latte, Nutty Latte, and Chagaccino. Other drink options include drip coffee, caffé au lait, cold brew coffee, pour-over, seasonal lattes, and other 'surprise' drinks. *** Iced Horchata Latte (small - $7): Oh wow, the drink was really good! In fact it was probably the best horchata latte I have ever had. Most horchata lattes I have tried before were overly sweet, but this one had the right amount of sweetness. The horchata flavor did not overpower the coffee aroma too. *** A bit on the pricey side, but worth every penny. Just an absolutely fantastic horchata latte! read more
Always a welcome stop. Perfect location, great service, friendly and cordial no nonsense staff, pet friendly. They will serve you in ceramic whenever you ask and the the coffee is subtle, smooth and prepared to your exact specifications. Inside is cool, outside is better. Pause for a moment, meet a friend, bring your dog. (Leave your laptop in the car and laugh at all the people in traffic on Ventura Blvd) This place is my go to coffee spot when I need a pause for reflection. I came here on a Monday morning after a workout in the area. I did not see plaza parking available for Tortoni, so I parked on the side street just before the cafe. You can also find free street parking on the residential streets nearby the cafe. There is indoor and outdoor seating available and the cafe was busy on this Monday morning! so it is definitely popular. However, the seating is fairly limited and I don't think it would be good place to sit and get work done. They offer both sweet pastries on display as well as savory empanadas! Tortoni also serves Verve Coffee and sells their own merchandise if you enjoy collecting local coffee shop merch. Matcha Latte w/ simple sugar sweetener and almond milk 1/5, I did not like this. I asked about how sweet this was when I ordered and they did inform me it does not come sweetened, so I added sweetener. My issue is the matcha powder was not appropriately blended within the hot water / milk, so I ended up drinking solid chunks of matcha powder which was,, unpleasant. Dulce De Leche Latte 4/5, this was STRONG omg, the double espresso shot really hit me and woke me right up! I loved the taste of this because it did taste significantly of Ducle de Leche, however, it might be a bit too sweet for some. read more
This is a cute coffee spot! They serve the usual coffee options, along with some spanish favorites and their signature sides, like empanadas. I tried the ham and cheese empanada, and it was amazing I enjoyed every bite and wished I had more, but unfortunately, I was already on my way out when I finished it. I also had a horchata latte, which was okay--I've had better, but it was still enjoyable. However, those empanadas are THEE business! I loved the unique decor and the way they showcase spanish culture, especially with the flag on display. As a Salvadoran, it means a lot to see love for our neighbors. I'm guessing the owners are from Argentina?, but I'm not too familiar with the shop yet since it was my first visit. One thing's for sure,it won't be my last! read more
I have come here a handful of times and I have to say they probably have the best spanish latte around this area. I've gotten the vanilla latte and spanish latte and hands down the spanish latte takes the cake. I haven't tried their other items like their food or other drinks but one of these days I will. Anyhow they have an online ordering through their app but I noticed the price is like way more than it is in person which is not right. Their drinks are super pricey especially for the spanish latte I believe it's an additional $1.50 more. Parking well good luck if you can find street parking which is metered or I'm not sure if you can park in the shopping center next door but even that area is so congested. They have indoor and outdoor seating. I haven't felt comfortable enough to sit here and drink my drink, I usually grab and go. There are some nice people who make small talk once in a while. All in all a good coffee spot not the best but I would recommend. read more

I was in the area taking care of some business and before jumping back on the freeway, I decided to stop by and grab a drink. I did a quick search online and saw this place right down the street from where I was, so I decided to give it a try. Upon walking in, I was really impressed with the aesthetics of this place, it was very nice and the branding was amazing. I'm a graphic designer and I always keep an eye out behind the branding of companies, and this is something that caught my attention about this place. I looked through the menu and decided to grab a iced chai tea with oat milk, same order as any other place I ever go to. The lady (cashier) told me the chai is not sweet, and that I was able to add a sweetener, there were various options including agave, honey, vanilla, etc. I understand that these options tend to be extra charge at all other places, so that was not a surprise, however after adding the vanilla sweetener and oat milk substitution, the price for my single drink was $9.98, pretty much $10. Which seemed kinda high for it as it wasn't a large drink. While I waited for my drink, I looked at the hats and shirts they sell, again all of the aesthetics of this place are 10/10. I enjoyed the environment of this place and the order was ready in a reasonable amount of time. I hopped back in my car and took a sip of the drink and oh boy....was I disappointed. I don't know if I was disappointed in the fact that the flavor was not good at all OR that it was $10. I figured "oh well, you live and you learn" and I started driving back home. I thought I could just drink it and go on with my day but I honestly couldn't. I ended up having to throw it away. I ended up grabbing a drink from another spot on my way home. I wish I could give it 5 start because it really wasn't their fault that I didn't like the taste, however I think the price is slightly high compared to the size and I honestly was not happy, so that is why I'm giving it 4 stars. read more

One of my favorite coffee shops in SFV! I've been here multiple times and the service has always been consistently good. It's a small coffee shop that has quite a bit of background noise, perfect for bringing a friend/conversation (not ideal for WFH unless working outside). I ordered a regular size Chagaccino with oat milk. I LOVE the Chagaccino here because it's so smooth and tastes delicious-highly recommend!! read more

Tortoni's is a GEM! The sizes are large, the coffee is a good quality and the space is clean and no fuss. It's one of my favorite Sherman Oaks coffee places. The iced latte wasn't too sweet and the ice wasn't filled to the brim like Starbucks is. Overall this place was a welcomed addition to the Valley Coffee scene and I would recommend! read more
On the Ventura Blvd strip this is a lively little shop with a small seating area. I was helped quickly and the baristas were just okay, not out of the ordinarily nice. My drink was made quickly! I like that they have a half&half pitcher out. As for the drink itself - very disappointing. I got the Horchata latte expecting rich & creamy flavors but instead felt like I was drinking water and sugar. It didn't even taste like an actual Horchata. I have heard great things about their Chaggacino and would be considering coming back to give it a try. But I paid over $8 for a drink that ended up in the trash when there are PLENTY of other coffee shops in the area that this place is not much competition for. read more

This is one of my favorite coffee shops in the valley. The alfajor was super soft! Gingerbread latte was so comforting and perfectly spiced. Delicious latte 10/10. All the flavored lattes, especially the limited edition flavors, are always great. read more
I've passed by this cafe sooo many times and never went in because the font of their signage reminded me of the UFC font (not the best reason, I know), but then I found out it was Argentinian-owned and you know I gotta support mi gente Latino. So I took my laptop to be a stereotypical wannabe writer and ordered an horchata latte and a chicken empanada. Both were great and I'm definitely returning for another one of those lattes! I was especially surprised at the warm welcome provided here! One lady--who I'm guessing is the owner--was so friendly that she even sat down to chit chat with another patron and would stop to have small conversations with others. I've never seen such warmth in any other cafe in the area. I loved that! read more
