    Cozy dinning

The moment we walked in, it smelled like chocolate heaven. This spot is cozy, charming, and absolutely adorable. It's the perfect way to end your day with a delicious dessert while spending time with friends and family. The staff were fantastic and made the experience even more enjoyable. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!

If there's one thing I love, it's discovering a new spot before everyone else does! And my visit to Toasted Verse during their soft opening was such a treat. I'm genuinely excited for their grand opening happening this Saturday, 02/07/26 because this place already feels like it's going to become a local favorite. First impressions absolutely matter, and they definitely made a strong one! The indoor space is beautiful, so bright, clean, and airy. The way the sunlight pours into the café instantly lifts your mood. It has that effortlessly aesthetic vibe where everything looks good without trying too hard. Whether you're stopping by for a quick coffee, catching up with a friend, or taking photos (because yes, it's very photogenic), the space feels welcoming and thoughtfully designed. I tried their iced biscoff latte, and it was everything I wanted it to be and more. Smooth, creamy, and perfectly balanced. Not overly sweet at all, but still indulgent. The Biscoff flavor came through beautifully without overpowering the coffee, making it dangerously easy to drink haha. One of those lattes you finish way too quickly and immediately wish you had ordered a second. I also had their Dubai chocolate strawberry cup and WOAH. These were decadent in the best way. Fresh, juicy strawberries paired with rich chocolate. Made it luxurious, indulgent, and absolutely worth ordering. The pistachio butter and chocolate were layered beautifully, none of it being lacked. It felt like a little dessert moment that elevated the whole visit. You can tell care goes into their offerings, even during a soft opening. One detail I absolutely loved was how thoughtful and inclusive Toasted Verse is. They have a self-serve water station, which is such a small but meaningful touch that instantly makes the space feel welcoming. On top of that, they even offer a water bowl for pets! Which says so much about how considerate they are of everyone who walks through their doors. They've also clearly thought about families, with coloring pages and crayons available for kids. It's such a sweet, intentional touch that makes the café feel warm, community-oriented, and inviting for all ages. Those little details truly set this place apart from others and show how much care they put into creating an experience, not just serving coffee. Something else that stood out to me though, was the service. :) Maria was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. She took the time to explain things, answer questions, and made the experience feel warm and personal. You could tell she genuinely wanted guests to enjoy themselves, which makes such a difference. Her friendliness and attentiveness added so much to the overall experience. For a soft opening, Toasted Verse is already doing so many things right. Delicious drinks, beautiful presentation, a bright and inviting atmosphere, and truly lovely customer service. I can only imagine how great things will be once they officially open. If you're looking for a new café to support, definitely check them out, especially for their grand opening this Saturday. Toasted Verse is off to an amazing start, and I'm so excited to come back and try more from their menu.

First time at this fairly new location and it was a positive experience. Staff were friendly and the ambience cool with coffee house type mellow music in the background. My item was delivered in a timely manner with a first timer discount - Outstanding!

I had magically come upon this place. I was really hungry so I ordered 2 croffels. The banana crunch and the strawberry banana nutella. THEY WERE DIVINE! I would highly recommend going. The place was nice and enough seating. The two people working there (sorry y'all, I didn't grab their names), they were the nicest people. The made the food deliciously and even let me stay to do my project lol. So sweet. If I'm ever back in this part of town, I will come and get some more!

Mini Pancakes with Belgium milk chocolate and waffle with maple syrup.

My bf and I heard about this spot opening in one of our local strips we frequent. Decided to order one of their mini pastry boxes that comes with waffle, mini pancakes, and a crepe. The Crepe was our favorite. We ordered it with the cookie butter topping and as we love our cookie butter, this was an excellent way to enjoy it. The mini pancakes are fun and easy to eat - bite sized with Belgium milk chocolate drizzled. The chocolate was as you'd want it and the pancakes were cute and fluffy despite their miniature size. Last of the box was the waffle with maple syrup. The waffle itself was done nicely. Since we walked our order home to enjoy we think asking for the syrup on the side might be the way to go, but honestly I don't mean to say that it drastically makes it less than ideal - just preference so that the waffle doesn't absorb it completely by the time you get to enjoy it. Along with the pastry box we shared an Iced Vanilla Latte. We really enjoyed it. Not super sweet and well balanced. I'm excited to try their other coffee options as well. Overall we really enjoyed this new local spot. I hope it does well to succeed. I'm curious how their hours could impact business since they don't open until 12pm, but are open later until 10 or 11. As a spot that maybe many people view as a breakfast time option perhaps 10am might be a sweet spot (at least on weekends?) In any case I recommend giving this place a try especially if you've got a sweet tooth plaguing your life like I do. I'll be back to support!

I came in here with friends in search of a late-night dessert spot, and it did not disappoint!! The workers are so kind - and the croffles were so delicious and big. I'm looking forward to coming back!

I ordered 2 banana lattes, one with oat milk and the other with almond milk. After waiting for my drinks, the staff called my name and said 2 banana lattes were ready! There was no marks on the cup, no receipt under need the cup to indicate it nor did they even know which was which. One employee a few awkward seconds later after making me feel like I was the problem for asking which was which proceeded to then say " I think it's that's one, because the milk is separated a certain way " and I then asked her " you think ?" And I let her know in the future you guys should really pay attention to what your making, label the cups or leave receipts under the drinks if it's going to be a problem asking which drink is what? The employee then replied "well I didn't even make it, sooo ...." And I replied that's great to know but that's really not the point here, someone with a real food allergy could be allergic to nuts and you guys not caring nor knowing which drink is what drink is the real problem here. Of course you don't care, you down own the spot. You're not liable if someone dies from a food allergy now are you, ownership is. The whole interaction was just unpleasant and we became the problem for simply asking which latte had which milk. The staff continued to smile and roll their eyes, and we asked for a refund immediately after. Such a nice looking place but such unpleasant unprofessional staff unfortunately. Employee with purple hair was mainly the one with the issue and the attitude who seems to think everything was a joke.

Actually, all of their employees. Place was packed. Wanted to see and know the sizes of the cups for me to decide which one to go with and the price difference. I went with a medium size hot decaf (one shot) Vanilla Latte with Macadamia Milk. Also got a Blueberry Muffin and a plain butter Croissant. I thought that they would also have some breakfast items like egg, bacon, sausage, cheese etc..they didn't. They only had plain bagel and Cream Cheese. My Latte tasted very good, on the flip side the Croissant wasn't as warm and fresh as I wanted for it to be. I asked the ladies behind the counter to warm it up again. The muffin was very fresh and delicious. Lauren handed me the Latte and my goodies. I don't want to dock a star for the Croissant, but it could have been a lot more fresh. Place was clean, with one gender neutral restroom, inside and outside seating, and the price was right for the 3 items that I got. $14.00 in total plus my tip of $2.00. Street parking only, woman owned, beautiful art work on their walls by famous artists, merchandise for sale, and nice music from the 80's playing overhead. Last but not least, under the businesses amenities page it says, no dogs allowed. It was dogs galore inside and outside. No offense to people who have dogs, but outside is ok, not inside..

The ambiance is warm, welcoming, and makes it a great place to relax or catch up with friends. The staff is always attentive, friendly, and genuinely makes you feel valued as a customer. My go-to drinks are the Caramel Royale and the Vanilla Rose Latte over ice. Both are flavorful, well-balanced, and never overly sweet. I also appreciate that they offer a variety of milk options, including 2%, which isn't always easy to find at other coffee shops.. Overall, this place delivers on quality, affordability, and customer service. If you're looking for great coffee without the premium price tag, I highly recommend stopping by. I'll definitely keep coming back! Thank you guys!

The main thing that stands out here is their 1987 coffee roaster which is the center piece of the cafe. They roast various single origin beans on a daily basis, so you know you can purchase some fresh coffee beans here. They have beans of light roast, medium roast and dark roast and sell by various weights for a very reasonable price. They also sell various tea leaves, baked goods (croissant, muffin, scones, bagel, Danish, coffee cake, Dessert Therapy cookies, and merchs. They also have a seasonable menu that changes. When I went, it was the Sakura season menu. Staff were all friendly and were very willing to answer any questions regarding the menu. Please note, the base coffee blend for each day varies and rotates on a daily basis For my visit, I tried ... 1. Buttered Coffee (4.5/5) The base coffee for the day was the Peru single origin, which was well-balanced; slightly sweet with a hint of tartness and nuttiness. They then add a chunk of butter into the coffee, which helps cut some of the acidity, but also is supposed to enhance the caffeine effect and give you additional energy from the fat. It does leave a layer of fat/oiliness so if you are not a fan of that, then this may not be for you. The butter did give it a subtle buttery flavor, which I personally liked. 2. Matcha with Sakura Cold Foam (4/5) The matcha was blended smoothly and was not grassy at all. The Sakura cold foam didn't really taste like Sakura (been to Japan, so know what real Sakura flavor should taste like), but instead, just tasted floral. 3. Columbia Supremo Whole Beans Full body and aromatic. Good for those who like to drink black coffee 4.
