    Banana Roll
    Dennis Z.

I had their Banana roll and it was good. I do recommend drinking it with coffee or tea because the hazelnut is very thick and sticky like peanut butter. Service was great. Not very crowded so it is very quiet and peaceful. Do be careful because it is in an area where homeless people roam by once in a while. Other than that, this place is great!

The moment we walked in, it smelled like chocolate heaven. This spot is cozy, charming, and absolutely adorable. It's the perfect way to end your day with a delicious dessert while spending time with friends and family. The staff were fantastic and made the experience even more enjoyable. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!

If there's one thing I love, it's discovering a new spot before everyone else does! And my visit to Toasted Verse during their soft opening was such a treat. I'm genuinely excited for their grand opening happening this Saturday, 02/07/26 because this place already feels like it's going to become a local favorite. First impressions absolutely matter, and they definitely made a strong one! The indoor space is beautiful, so bright, clean, and airy. The way the sunlight pours into the café instantly lifts your mood. It has that effortlessly aesthetic vibe where everything looks good without trying too hard. Whether you're stopping by for a quick coffee, catching up with a friend, or taking photos (because yes, it's very photogenic), the space feels welcoming and thoughtfully designed. I tried their iced biscoff latte, and it was everything I wanted it to be and more. Smooth, creamy, and perfectly balanced. Not overly sweet at all, but still indulgent. The Biscoff flavor came through beautifully without overpowering the coffee, making it dangerously easy to drink haha. One of those lattes you finish way too quickly and immediately wish you had ordered a second. I also had their Dubai chocolate strawberry cup and WOAH. These were decadent in the best way. Fresh, juicy strawberries paired with rich chocolate. Made it luxurious, indulgent, and absolutely worth ordering. The pistachio butter and chocolate were layered beautifully, none of it being lacked. It felt like a little dessert moment that elevated the whole visit. You can tell care goes into their offerings, even during a soft opening. One detail I absolutely loved was how thoughtful and inclusive Toasted Verse is. They have a self-serve water station, which is such a small but meaningful touch that instantly makes the space feel welcoming. On top of that, they even offer a water bowl for pets! Which says so much about how considerate they are of everyone who walks through their doors. They've also clearly thought about families, with coloring pages and crayons available for kids. It's such a sweet, intentional touch that makes the café feel warm, community-oriented, and inviting for all ages. Those little details truly set this place apart from others and show how much care they put into creating an experience, not just serving coffee. Something else that stood out to me though, was the service. :) Maria was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. She took the time to explain things, answer questions, and made the experience feel warm and personal. You could tell she genuinely wanted guests to enjoy themselves, which makes such a difference. Her friendliness and attentiveness added so much to the overall experience. For a soft opening, Toasted Verse is already doing so many things right. Delicious drinks, beautiful presentation, a bright and inviting atmosphere, and truly lovely customer service. I can only imagine how great things will be once they officially open. If you're looking for a new café to support, definitely check them out, especially for their grand opening this Saturday. Toasted Verse is off to an amazing start, and I'm so excited to come back and try more from their menu.

I live in the area and decided to pop in. Wish more people knew about this spot! The coffee is really good (make sure you ask about any off menu specials). Feels like a great spot to get some work done, I'll be back!

First time at this fairly new location and it was a positive experience. Staff were friendly and the ambience cool with coffee house type mellow music in the background. My item was delivered in a timely manner with a first timer discount - Outstanding!

I had magically come upon this place. I was really hungry so I ordered 2 croffels. The banana crunch and the strawberry banana nutella. THEY WERE DIVINE! I would highly recommend going. The place was nice and enough seating. The two people working there (sorry y'all, I didn't grab their names), they were the nicest people. The made the food deliciously and even let me stay to do my project lol. So sweet. If I'm ever back in this part of town, I will come and get some more!

I got the banana roll and it was amazing!!! The service was super friendly and attentive! And the place was clean and chill! Definitely have to come back again!

Mini Pancakes with Belgium milk chocolate and waffle with maple syrup.
    Katie M.

My bf and I heard about this spot opening in one of our local strips we frequent. Decided to order one of their mini pastry boxes that comes with waffle, mini pancakes, and a crepe. The Crepe was our favorite. We ordered it with the cookie butter topping and as we love our cookie butter, this was an excellent way to enjoy it. The mini pancakes are fun and easy to eat - bite sized with Belgium milk chocolate drizzled. The chocolate was as you'd want it and the pancakes were cute and fluffy despite their miniature size. Last of the box was the waffle with maple syrup. The waffle itself was done nicely. Since we walked our order home to enjoy we think asking for the syrup on the side might be the way to go, but honestly I don't mean to say that it drastically makes it less than ideal - just preference so that the waffle doesn't absorb it completely by the time you get to enjoy it. Along with the pastry box we shared an Iced Vanilla Latte. We really enjoyed it. Not super sweet and well balanced. I'm excited to try their other coffee options as well. Overall we really enjoyed this new local spot. I hope it does well to succeed. I'm curious how their hours could impact business since they don't open until 12pm, but are open later until 10 or 11. As a spot that maybe many people view as a breakfast time option perhaps 10am might be a sweet spot (at least on weekends?) In any case I recommend giving this place a try especially if you've got a sweet tooth plaguing your life like I do. I'll be back to support!

I came in here with friends in search of a late-night dessert spot, and it did not disappoint!! The workers are so kind - and the croffles were so delicious and big. I'm looking forward to coming back!

love this place!! the interior is so cute with a lot of outlets!! everything was so good i love the dubai strawberry cup & how it was layered nicely so the bottom strawberries wasn't just plain!! the croffle was delicious, id love to try the other menu options soon!

They use Onyx (from what i noticed), and the sound of the milk being steamed sounded silky (-: ! The layout of the cafe is nice: entry/line formation moves in a counter clockwise motion. Allows customers to enter space and wait in line while leaving space for people to exit/ wait to pick up their drink. First come, first serve for pastries - expect this for freshness purposes. Drink and their components are measured for consistency and quality control. Wait is subjective in relation to volume at the time which you go. Came in at about 1:30 PM on a Sunday (today was 8/16). Curated menu for their specialty drinks that aligns with their identity. Standard menu for espresso based beverages. Great selection for their Single Origin menu. Roasters they use align with those they highlight on their shelves for retail as a multi-roaster cafe. Ordered a Columbia from Hydrangea - enjoyed thoroughly! When it was still quite hot you get the heavy aroma and flavor of the pastry notes in the coffee. Then more tea-like once it cools down more. Coldbrew in the Woodman did not feel like your typical bold-in-flavor base. Which I think works for the inclusions in the beverage. Not your typical/second wave coffee shop. It's cool to see shops want to bridge that gap between fun drinks and specialty coffee! Kudos to Lynx!

It was 7:58 a.m., and I stopped in to grab my usual coffee before my appointment next door. I accidentally left my wallet at home, my Apple Pay wasn't working, and the only cash I had was a $100 bill. My total was only $8.50. I even offered a simple solution--I asked if another employee could pay for my coffee and I would immediately Zelle them the money. All three employees told me that was "beyond their job duties" and refused to help. Instead, they pointed to the sign stating they don't accept $100 bills and had me leave without making any effort to accommodate a regular customer. The disappointing part isn't that they couldn't break a $100 bill--it's that no one showed even the slightest willingness to help find a solution. I come here almost every Friday because I have appointments at the salon next door, and after this experience, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. A little kindness and customer service go a long way. Unfortunately, I found neither here.

And ONLY Rap. It was so annoying. I guess this is what the new generation loves. Walked in yesterday at 2:15pm, and got a very nice, pleasant, warm welcome from Michael and Joey. Both great and happy kids. Michael took my order and was pretty knowledgeable with the menu. I ordered the Crema Burrito that came with: Tator Tots, Scrambled eggs, Avocado, and Jalapeño. They had 2 of the same Burrito. One with Bacon, and the other one w/out ($15.56). Portion of the Burrito was very small for the price, and was lukewarm. Food overall along with beverages were expensive! I also got a single butter Croissant and asked him to warm it up. The Croissant was nicely warm, flaky, buttery and very good! ($6.23). The Baked Goods case was practically empty. Wanted a Blueberry Muffin, and they were out. Last but not least, got their 16oz. Coconut Cloud Matcha ($9.34). Matcha was made perfectly. I still had to water it down a little. The flavor hit the mark though. Trying to get more familiar with different types of Matchas. The Coffee Shop was clean and very quaint. Also, comfortable seating with round, brown cushions. When you walk in, it's hard to miss the nice motorcycle right in the middle of the shop. I wanted to know what did that represent? Michael said that the owners wife bought that for her husband. Where can I get one? The husband, not the motorcycle.:-) They have no parking, only street and metered. Nice outdoor seating all around. Gender neutral restrooms and it was somewhat clean. Will I return? Not any time soon. Place has been open since November of last year..

My Latte tasted very good, on the flip side the Croissant wasn't as warm and fresh as I wanted for it to be. I asked the ladies behind the counter to warm it up again. When I went, it was the Sakura season menu. Staff were all friendly and were very willing to answer any questions regarding the menu. Please note, the base coffee blend for each day varies and rotates on a daily basis For my visit, I tried ... 1. Buttered Coffee (4.5/5) The base coffee for the day was the Peru single origin, which was well-balanced; slightly sweet with a hint of tartness and nuttiness. They then add a chunk of butter into the coffee, which helps cut some of the acidity, but also is supposed to enhance the caffeine effect and give you additional energy from the fat. It does leave a layer of fat/oiliness so if you are not a fan of that, then this may not be for you. The butter did give it a subtle buttery flavor, which I personally liked. 2.
