My chicken teriyaki bowl. 75 grams of protein!
    Robert B.

I'm pretty picky about where I eat because I track my macros and calories, so I LOVE that they actually list the calories for all the food on the menu. It makes it so much easier to grab breakfast or lunch without feeling like I'm completely guessing, especially if you're someone who tries to eat healthy and stay on track. That being said... I tried the banana cold foam iced latte on my cheat day and now I literally dream about it I don't even know what they put in that thing but it was ridiculously good. Definitely one of my new favorite spots.

Banana cream cold foam latte and cookie!

I come here almost every single day for my salted caramel latte and gyro bowl, I'm a creature of habit what can I say! I've tried the pizza and teriyaki bowl as well and they are also so delicious but the Greek bowl has my heart. The banana latte has an amazing cold foam with fresh bananas blended in and it's is so delicious and fresh, unlike anything I've ever tried at other coffee shops. The employees are also very cheery and make my day! They also have puzzles for customers to work on while we wait for our coffees and it's a nice break from my work computer. Overall the coffees great, lunches are amazing and packed with protein and they're all very nice.

They use Onyx (from what i noticed), and the sound of the milk being steamed sounded silky (-: ! I think saw they used a bottomless portafilter ? Might have mis-seen. But for those unfamiliar, bottomless doesn't divide your shots into two physical shots. so it looks like "one" shot. but it would be 2 shots if it had that attachment. Shots are dialed by weight, so your coffee will be consistent! The layout of the cafe is nice: entry/line formation moves in a counter clockwise motion. Allows customers to enter space and wait in line while leaving space for people to exit/ wait to pick up their drink. First come, first serve for pastries - expect this for freshness purposes. Drink and their components are measured for consistency and quality control. Wait is subjective in relation to volume at the time which you go. Came in at about 1:30 PM on a Sunday (today was 8/16). Curated menu for their specialty drinks that aligns with their identity. Standard menu for espresso based beverages. Great selection for their Single Origin menu. Roasters they use align with those they highlight on their shelves for retail as a multi-roaster cafe. Ordered a Columbia from Hydrangea - enjoyed thoroughly! When it was still quite hot you get the heavy aroma and flavor of the pastry notes in the coffee. Then more tea-like once it cools down more. Coldbrew in the Woodman did not feel like your typical bold-in-flavor base. Which I think works for the inclusions in the beverage. Not your typical/second wave coffee shop. It's cool to see shops want to bridge that gap between fun drinks and specialty coffee! Kudos to Lynx!

I always ask for extra ice so it's not too milky and half the sweetness, and it comes out perfect every time. Sometimes I'll order a RAF, equally delicious, but I'd recommend getting it hot than iced. My husband really enjoys their drip coffee too. The staff is quick, friendly, and super accommodating. I'll even call ahead when I'm in a rush, and they always have my order ready to go. Also don't forget to sign up for their rewards program! I really like the Chagaccino with oatmilk. It was fantastic in flavor and smooth. The first drink was nothing like it. Since it was my first time here I would know what my drink was supposed to taste like and I have also never ordered a Chagaccino before. I don't think my review would have been as favorable. I like the atmosphere. It is funny and cute. I hope I can come back soon but it is far from my house to make this every day. Street parking. There is also pay for parking lot in back. I don't know if they validate since I stayed on street. Otherwise it is normally $3 every 15 minutes.

It's a great selection and some of the combinations work wonderfully. I'm not a fan of all of their drinks, but it's not bad. It's more a personal preference on how they make their drinks and it's just got a unique touch to it. This is where I say to each their own. Give it a try and see which ones you prefer. Customer service is wonderful! It's always nice to come here and talk with the employees. They're great people overall and they seem to be of similar personalities. The indoor space gets filled up very quickly. It's an open area, but there's almost always a line out the door. They can get really busy and your drinks may take a while if you come during peak hours. Thankfully, they might open up the window so an outdoor breeze comes through. This way, the place never gets humid. Plenty of outdoor seating areas if you want to spend more time here. It can be hard to get here because you have to street park, but it's worth it.

Actually, all of their employees. Place was packed. Wanted to see and know the sizes of the cups for me to decide which one to go with and the price difference. I went with a medium size hot decaf (one shot) Vanilla Latte with Macadamia Milk. Also got a Blueberry Muffin and a plain butter Croissant. I thought that they would also have some breakfast items like egg, bacon, sausage, cheese etc..they didn't. They only had plain bagel and Cream Cheese. My Latte tasted very good, on the flip side the Croissant wasn't as warm and fresh as I wanted for it to be. I asked the ladies behind the counter to warm it up again. The muffin was very fresh and delicious. Lauren handed me the Latte and my goodies. I don't want to dock a star for the Croissant, but it could have been a lot more fresh. Place was clean, with one gender neutral restroom, inside and outside seating, and the price was right for the 3 items that I got. $14.00 in total plus my tip of $2.00. Street parking only, woman owned, beautiful art work on their walls by famous artists, merchandise for sale, and nice music from the 80's playing overhead. Last but not least, under the businesses amenities page it says, no dogs allowed. It was dogs galore inside and outside. No offense to people who have dogs, but outside is ok, not inside..

The main thing that stands out here is their 1987 coffee roaster which is the center piece of the cafe. They roast various single origin beans on a daily basis, so you know you can purchase some fresh coffee beans here. If you need your beans grounded, they do grind it for you depending on your brewing method. They have beans of light roast, medium roast and dark roast and sell by various weights for a very reasonable price. They also sell various tea leaves, baked goods (croissant, muffin, scones, bagel, Danish, coffee cake, Dessert Therapy cookies, and merchs. They also have a seasonable menu that changes. When I went, it was the Sakura season menu. Staff were all friendly and were very willing to answer any questions regarding the menu. Please note, the base coffee blend for each day varies and rotates on a daily basis For my visit, I tried ... 1. Buttered Coffee (4.5/5) The base coffee for the day was the Peru single origin, which was well-balanced; slightly sweet with a hint of tartness and nuttiness. They then add a chunk of butter into the coffee, which helps cut some of the acidity, but also is supposed to enhance the caffeine effect and give you additional energy from the fat. It does leave a layer of fat/oiliness so if you are not a fan of that, then this may not be for you. The butter did give it a subtle buttery flavor, which I personally liked. 2. Matcha with Sakura Cold Foam (4/5) The matcha was blended smoothly and was not grassy at all. The Sakura cold foam didn't really taste like Sakura (been to Japan, so know what real Sakura flavor should taste like), but instead, just tasted floral. 3. Columbia Supremo Whole Beans Full body and aromatic. Good for those who like to drink black coffee 4. Guatemala Huehuetenango Whole Beans: Crisp, acidic and a hint of nuttiness Glad I found this local roaster where I'll definitely be coming back to get some more fresh beans.

Got lucky with parking about only a block away and walked over. Very busy!! Love the high ceilings in here and it looks like it was connected to some kind of homeware shop? Didn't really look and was more focused on trying to figure out what to order lol!! They only have a small menu on the counter right when you order. Would be nice to have it on the wall to browse while waiting in the long line. The menu is very simple though so I ended up just getting an iced caramel latte and my bf got an iced matcha latte. I also got a toasted everything croissant which was absolutely fantastic!! Perfect jalapeno cream cheese in the middle. Delish!! The drinks took a bit but it was also very busy so I understand. Two workers but they managed and had great energy! Loved our drinks as well. Super creamy, strong, not overly sweet!! They are also pet friendly and even have a water bowl inside by the entryway. You really have to respect the interior design, in how they placed the cafe in a furniture store yet were able to set up the perfect partition yet flow between the two. The vanilla and mocha syrups are made in house and honestly I'm not one to order a vanilla latte but this one was delicious! From the interior design to the drinks I recommend visiting this place. However, when reviewing cafes I also consider the "work space" factor, and this may not be a good cafe for it. No outlets, difficult parking, and limited WiFi make it a bit of a challenge to work here, though the ambiance makes it worth trying out! Additionally, the service was kind. They also got along with the pets that came in, which was fun to watch.
