We stopped by Victory Caffe around 8am and were pleasantly surprised that it wasn't too busy. After ordering, our food came out pretty quickly, and the staff was friendly throughout our visit. We ordered the Supreme Waffle, House Breakfast, and a horchata latte. The Supreme Waffle is definitely on the sweeter end of the breakfast spectrum. That said, the waffle itself was light and fluffy, though not particularly crispy, and was still an overall solid waffle. The House Breakfast was solid as well. The standout was easily the bacon, which was crispy, flavorful, and cooked just right. While the breakfast itself wasn't anything particularly unique, I think that's a testament to doing the basics really well with quality ingredients. The horchata latte also leaned on the sweeter side. You'll probably be waking up just as much from the sugar as the caffeine, but if you enjoy sweeter coffee drinks, it's worth trying. Overall, Victory Caffe is a solid breakfast spot that executes the classics well. The ingredients tasted fresh, the portions were satisfying, the prices were very reasonable, and the service was friendly. I could definitely see myself stopping by again whenever I'm looking for a dependable breakfast in the area.
My friend and I stopped by for breakfast! It has a small parking lot and thankfully we were able to find a spot when we visited on a Sunday morning. They have a few tables inside and it was busy when we arrived. I ordered the breakfast burrito which comes with potatoes, cheese, avocado, and black beans. It was good and filling! They also have plenty of vegan options, fresh juices, and smoothies. It's a good spot to check out for breakfast and the service was great!
Wow, I met the owner Efrain today after hearing so many good things from my daughter about him. Happy b-day to your daughter! Thanks so much for the extremely delicious Supreme waffle prepared by Nacho. We prepared to take it home, but we totally destroyed it in about 5 minutes. It was so light and full of flavor with Fresh Strawberry, Banana and Blueberries, Vanilla Ice cream and Nutella on top. Nothing we've ever experienced before. We also had an iced matcha w/oat milk, hot matcha with whole milk and I had the hot house mocha. We enjoyed the caffe for more than an hour and also noticed the wonderful mural added to the ambience. We look forward to catching up with you on another day. Thank you so much!!
Just amazing! Very welcoming , an nice atmosphere the menu consists of fruit smoothies,Coffee, breakfast,lunch etc..service is great . If you haven't gave this place a shot you're really missing out !

Initially passing, my first initial thought was "there's no parking"... I almost let that deter me. Inside is very small and quaint exactly opposite of their menu. It's very extensive and healthy as well. There's something on the menu for everyone. Service was great...you order at the counter and the food promptly comes to your table. I've recently got into matcha. There's a few great choices. I tried the lavender. It was yummy!! Of course I chose a California item for lunch....when in Rome you know LOL. I got the Avo toast....but not just any ol avo toast....this was their Caprese Avo Toast. OMG...it was ahhhhhmazing. I'm currently planning another trip soon LOL!!

Same price whether it has a protein or not so we got one with bacon to split. For about $11 and some change it wasn't that big but it was flavorful. Honestly, it hit the spot and I did like the chipotle sauce on the side. If I'm in the area again maybe I'll go for the sweet stuff.. they seem to have the better reviews.
Absolutely 5 stars! They really seem to care here. You order at the counter, pay, and they bring your food to your table. It's easy to forget to tip if you are paying cash, get change. They brought our food and my French toast was so nicely plated that I almost didn't want to eat it! It was delicious! My friend also loved her sandwich. Service was great, super friendly. My friend said she had already been there twice that week. I have a feeling it will be our new spot. The coffee was also really good. The guy was so sweet. I just had fillings done and said I can't have my coffee really hot and asked for ice. He said not to worry he will make it perfect temperature, and he did! Oh, we even got edible flowers on our plates that were too pretty to eat. LOL It's like a little mini mall and easy to miss. Make the effort. They have parking.

Ah yes, the Victory Caffe, the neighborhood goodness. A hidden gem to many, an absolute "go to" to others in the community. Located in a small strip mall on Vanowen and Kester, this cafe serves up some of the best coffee, breakfast and sandwiches. I highly recommend one of the most popular items, the Supreme Waffle, topped with bananas, berries, vanilla ice cream map and Nutella. A few tables and chairs inside for about 20-25 with fairly fast service. The parking lot is small so fills up quickly.

I absolutely LOVE EATING HERE! The food is always amazing. The staff are sweet. They can be busy at times, but they always get to you. The spot might be small, but it warming with the wall decorated (An Airplane).If you haven't tried it, Go. Don't think about it. You won't regret it. read more

Just ordered this through DoorDash. It's been a minute, but I used to really enjoy this place. LOVED their breakfast burrito. Could mix vegan and non vegan ingredients based on likes and dislikes, which was great! Today's order, however, was totally underwhelming. I'm not sure how everything I loved so completely ended up being pretty much tasteless, but it was. Breakfast Burrito was blah. Was basically dry and bland. Changed the cheese to vegan - not sure ANY cheese made it onto the burrito...Barely any guacamole. Barely any breakfast potatoes. The chipotle mayo was the only thing that had flavor. Without it, the burrito would have been inedible. And the Piña Coconut Delight was NOT a delight. How can you mix actual pineapple chunks and coconut and make it boring? Not sure, but they did! Wow. Just BAD. It took over an hour and a half, so was starving enough to eat some. Guess I cross this one off my list though... So disappointed and sad... read more

A random stop in and it's still super solid. This visit was a bit later in the day. It was a little quieter and easy to find parking. I have been here numerous times and it's always a win. This visit was no exception. I decided to order one of my favorite go-to's here, which is the lox sandwich on a bagel. Today's bagel was the softest I've ever had from here. Portion size is big so as per usual, I had leftovers. Parking is usually the toughest part, but for an early afternoon visit, it was easy. This will continue to be one of my favorite places in the valley. read more

Okay so admittedly; I think I came in on an off day/morning. I came w my vegetarian friend who loves this place and is a regular but we kept having issues during our breakfast here. This place is located in a small plaza with limited parking though there is street parking available if you are willing to potentially walk a bit. My friend and I both ordered the breakfast burrito and she got a lavender latte and here is where the trouble started. - her lavender latte was made without any coffee (yes I am serious), it was lavender syrup with milk. she asked for it to be remade and it was remade - my breakfast burrito took nearly 30 minutes to come out and we had to request it to come out even though other customers who arrived later than me, including 20 mins after me were able to get their food first??? - my breakfast burrito also did not come w any utensils or napkins to the table (and they are not lying out) so we had to request this Breakfast burrito 4/5, this was good! I was sad I had to wait so long for it but I thoroughly enjoyed this. I didn't opt to get any meat in it and I think the eggs and beans as protein kept me quite satiated for the meal read more

Good luck finding a parking space here, be prepared to park on the street! The café is small and was packed when we came on a Sunday morning. I ordered the rose matcha and really loved it. My husband and my friend both got the caramel latte, my husband thought it was too milky and not strong enough. For food, I had the chicken quesadillas and really enjoyed them. My husband ordered the supreme waffle, it was very good overall, though the strawberries weren't ripe. My friend tried the chicken pesto sandwich and said it was good but could've used more chicken. Decent spot with some tasty items, but the parking situation and mixed drink/food experiences keep it from being a full 4 or 5 stars for me. read more

I was staying in the area for work and was looking for a place with a good green juice and possibly a vegan breakfast that I could also save for lunch. I came across this place and had a few questions about the menu, particularly whether the juices and food could be customized. First, parking is extremely limited. The lot has maybe 10 spaces and appears better suited for smaller or compact cars. I also wouldn't recommend relying on street parking in the surrounding area. Inside, there is a decent amount of seating, probably enough for around 30 people. On my first visit, I ordered the vegan breakfast burrito (not the green vegan breakfast burrito) because I thought the combination of ingredients sounded interesting. I also wanted a customized green juice, because I typically prefer to make my own combinations and don't care for ingredients like spinach or lemon. When I asked the young woman at the front with freckles if I could customize the juice, she initially told me no. I explained that the juice was actually the main reason I came, and asked if she could recommend another place nearby. Then, almost as an afterthought, she said I could customize it after all. I ended up ordering apple, kale, cucumber and ginger juice. I happened to be working in the area again the following week, so I decided to give the place another chance despite not being impressed with the customer service during my first visit. This time, I called my order in ahead of time because it's about a 17-minute drive from where I was staying, and I wanted to pick it up before work. I spoke with a different woman on the phone, although the first employee was also there when I arrived. It seems like the food isn't prepared until the order is confirmed and paid for, and the juice was made fresh right in front of me. This time I ordered the same breakfast burrito but left out the tofu eggs. I also ordered a cucumber juice. Unfortunately, the burrito was a major disappointment. I assumed letting it sit in my car during the hot weather might help melt the vegan cheese, but even after about five hours, the cheese still hadn't melted. I ended up taking two bites and throwing the entire burrito away. I've never really had a creamy vegan breakfast burrito before, which is part of the reason I wanted to give it another chance, but the combination just didn't work for me. Overall, this place could definitely use some improvement. The prices are high for the quality of the food, and the customer service left a lot to be desired. I gave it a second chance, but I wouldn't return for a third. read more
Foods exceptional service is great! The ambience is wonderful! Very nutritious food! The banana strawberry shake incredible their omelettes are incredible! Potatoes are incredible. I highly recommend this place. Great place to meet for meetings and to catch up. The people are wonderful here wheelchair friendly also. read more

So glad we stopped at Victory Caffe for a quick breakfast. We ordered 2 egg sandwiches- it comes with tomatoes, onion, avocado slices and a few other toppings. They use a delicious, fresh ciabatta bread. It was a really great option for a slightly healthier breakfast. They have tons of smoothie and açaí options, but I ordered an oat milk coffee and enjoyed that too. It's a small restaurant and they don't have open WiFi so I used my laptop for ten minutes using a hotspot. read more

Excellent breakfast burrito in this place. I got mine with organic chicken sausage and the flavors were just popping! With other ingredients like eggs, fresh guacamole, pico de gallo, grilled potatoes and cheese, each bite was truly special, as the freshness and a spectrum of delicious flavors were felt all throughout. The burrito was of a good size and definitely filled me up. The spot itself is simple and clean and the customer service is friendly. I just moved back to LA from Seattle with no local spots and one craving: a good almond croissant. Victory Cafe delivered -- literally. Within two weeks of regular orders, the owner Efren called me personally. They were out of my almond croissants, so he stayed late, made a batch himself, and dropped them off on his way home. He remembered a note I'd left on a receipt about just moving back and wanted to make sure I was taken care of. The food is excellent -- salads, sandwiches, quesadillas, pastries -- and I routinely get two to three days' worth for fifty dollars. But what sets Victory Cafe apart is something you can't fake: genuine care, consistency, and a team that clearly reflects how they're led. Loyal customer for life. I have had this place on my radar for a while now and today I finally stepped inside! It's tiny but you there are several tables to eat here. (Downside, no restrooms for customers:( I noticed most customers were ordering to go. We ordered: *Breakfast Burrito without potato w/chipolte dipping sauce ~ 5/5 *Small Hot Latte 4/5 *Iced Matcha Latte 5/5 We waited for our to-go order which didn't take long. The burrito was delicious and now that I have been here I will definitely be back! Visited this cozy cafe that my friend loves for the first time today. I had the Light Breakfast Sandwich, and though it was light, it was very filling. The portions they give you are great for the price. Everything was fresh and delicious. The staff were all so helpful and friendly with great customer service. Would definitely return to try more things on their large menu. I appreciate the large variety of vegan and plant-based options! read more

This is what you wish all those viral cafes in mid-city would be. Breakfast for 2 for under $30. The food is always done right! I prefer my breakfast to taste good over how pretty & viral it is. They even have green juice when I'm fasting/juicing. The place is small but mighty. The employees always look happy to be there, they're never far away that you can ask for extra milk for your coffee or napkins for your oozing waffles. read more

My spouse told me about a hidden gem in a strip mall on Vanowen Blvd, so I took a friend there for lunch. The place is small and very clean, with a few tables, and has a cozy, inviting feel. Above the counter is a large menu with lots of meal options, including many vegan choices. We placed our order through the window, and a friendly young lady took care of us, being very accommodating with any small changes. After receiving our number, we sat down and waited for our food to arrive. My friend ordered scrambled eggs with roasted potatoes (delicious), tomatoes, and a side of fruit, which was beautifully plated, as you can see in the photo. I had soft scrambled eggs with bacon, those amazing roasted potatoes, and a sausage that was huge and incredibly flavorful--almost like a Bratwurst. It was absolutely fantastic. However, my friend, in her pre-boomer years, needed to use the restroom. Unfortunately, they don't have a restroom for customers, just so you know. But they kindly made an exception and allowed her to use the facilities because she's a senior, which we really appreciated. The only downside, and it bothered both of us very much, was the behavior of a group that came in. It wasn't busy--just us and another table with two people--when two women with four kids arrived. They seemed to be ordering something to go but sat at the table right next to us. Their kids went completely wild, screaming, running around, and jumping on the chairs. The women didn't seem to care at all. The noise was so overwhelming that we couldn't even have a conversation. At one point, my friend and I had to speak up and ask the women to please control their kids so we could enjoy our meal and hear each other talking. We were both hoping that someone from the restaurant staff would step in to address it, as it shouldn't have been up to us to do so. My friend said she won't be back because of this, but I'll definitely return to this great place. read more

Ordered large coffees and avocodo toast $33. Avocodo toast was guacamole- which they state on menu is guacamole- no eggs included... So "guacamole toast" was 6/10 Lattes were very sweet. The annoying part was we were told we had to leave in 40 min before our food even arrived - the cafe was EMPTY! LOL .. I thought i was in the twilight zone. Empty cafe but was told to leave in 40 min - lol Not that I wanna hang out but was hoping to enjoy my food, coffee and get a Lil work done. read more
