We come to Bearies Acai for bowls every now and then ~ I dropped by for a pick up order the other night on my way back into town because they're open until 10PM, and they're probably the ONLY acai spot open late in the area. All the ingredients taste fresh and juicy here lol. My favorite base is the pitaya but it's nice to opt for a mixture of 2 different flavors. They use a decent amount of fruit and toppings so you don't end up with too much of the plain base on its own by the end of the bowl. Service was quick and the employee who helped me was friendly and prompt. She mentioned they were out of the cashew butter I requested for one of the bowls, so she provided a different butter on the side in a convenient container. Parking is abundant in this area and while the line can get a little long, you can always order online in advance with a specific pick up time. TLDR: Addicting Product, Disappointing Customer Service I've never been a huge fan of Açaí until I tried this place. I find myself going again and again and again. It's a love-hate relationship because each bite is more delicious than the last, but that also means that I'm going to be finished soon. I wish they made a size bigger than 32oz because it is just so damn good I can't get enough. You ever try something new and it suddenly becomes a part of your life like you can never be without it? That's exactly how I feel about this place. My go to order is: 32 oz Acai bowl, chocolate chunk granola, strawberry and banana, Nutella drizzle, and an extra topping of bee pollen. Parking is never an issue so it's easy to get in and get out fairly quickly. The only issue I've come across so far has to be the customer service. I placed a large order recently and realized I made a mistake. I called within 2 minutes of placing the order to fix it, and was told that the bowls had been made already. I was perplexed because when you order through the app, "ASAP" means it will be ready in 20 minutes. I ordered four bowls, and it was ready in less than two minutes? Yeah something is off here. I asked if I could fix the mistake I made and was met with "no there's nothing we can do because it's been made already". I explained how that couldn't be my order because I had JUST placed it, and it's advertised that it would be ready in 20 minutes because I chose the "ASAP" option. They then said that sometimes if they're not busy, they can finish an order in 5 minutes.... Okay. Well this one was done in 2 minutes so they must have The Flash working there. So just a heads up to everyone. Even though 20 minutes is what it'll say in the app if you select "ASAP" your order will probably be ready way before that so don't wait longer than you need to. Since they weren't remotely interested in trying to help me out, I figure I'd just have to take the L on this one. I sent an email to the address they have listed on their website (hello@beariesacai.com) for further help, but don't even bother trying that. The address is invalid so it'll get you nowhere. They should fix that because it's listed on their company website. They have a different email listed on their instagram page (beariesacai@gmail.com) But they haven't responded so I wouldn't count on getting any help. So make sure ya'll get it right the first time, Otherwise you're just out of luck. It's still absolutely delicious though. read more

Stopped by the other night for a late night acai bowl and it was so good! I heard about this place before and it definitely lived up to the hype. If you're getting feedback that your portions and sizing is misleading, you should address those concerns instead of trying to find a way around it. There is a huge gap on the bottom of my 24oz açaí bowl. If you advertise as 24oz, please fill the 24oz. I asked why there was a huge empty portion and the response was "we don't want to make the top look empty". Judging by how they handled previous concerns about portions, I'm pretty sure that even after my review, they would leave the middle empty or some other way to save a few cents. You should either get smaller cups and fill them up, or actually fill the cup. Açaí bowl tastes good. It really does. But a few cents goes a long way when it comes to food service and a big nono is skimping out on filling a container up. I am highly allergic to coconut, I brought back to the guy who took my order I asked is this coconut, he said yes, I said I'm allergic to it, he looked at the girl who did my order, then he made me a 32oz one like that is going to solve the problem My throat started itchy and getting uncomfortable to swallow. We walked back to my house. On the way home I called the guy he said he would have a manager or owner call me last night, no phone still as of today and I emailed as well no response. I have been in bed all day, missed work, and still feel like awful. I understand they are busy but at least acknowledge the people in line with some type of greeting such as "hi, I'll be right with you" or "hey there give us about 5 mins before we get to you, finishing up on some orders" then the customer has an expectation to wait but also it puts us at ease that we are seen and someone will take care of us shorty. I work around the area. I've stood in line three time. Each time I've waited over 10 to 15 mins before any one acknowledged my presence at the window. I had to walk away the third time. So then my coworkers said they had the same issues so they introduced me to ordering on line. Great! But then when I got to the window with no one in line. The same customer service. My boyfriend politely asked for it to be remade, and instead of just fixing it, the cashier got defensive, laughed, and accused him of making things up.
