I was driving around last night, looking for some tasty food and discovered this food truck. Jumped on Yelp, did my cross-references and got out of the car to order. An extremely nice gentleman recommended to start with the original, so I ordered the Steam Momo. These are dumplings and they were extremely delicious. Surprisingly, when I got home and opened the packaging, the dumplings were still extremely hot, like I like it. After I tried the first one, I knew it was a home run-- the meat filling was tender, juicy and prepared with multiple flavorful spices. My portion came with 10 of these and it was fairly filling. Their 3 side sauces should be given credit too, very delicious, from mild to hot, with some unique flavor notes. All in all, a great experience, friendly service and very flavorful Momo....and come on, how would one not wanna try a dish called Momo)). I know I did and am definitely happy with my choice. Delicious! I got the haka noodles, loaded momos, and paneer tikka. All were fantastic. The flavors are impeccable. The person who took my order was very kind and had good service as well. I'll definitely be back and highly recommending this place to family and friends. Super amazing experience here. Drove here from Ventura County just to experience this and it definitely did not disappoint. These are the items we got: - Loaded Momo - steamed Momo - noodles (chicken) - paneer - Spicy Momo - mango lassi - chai By far noodles were my fave with the paneer being a close second. I am new to and this was my first time trying Himalayan food. Usually have sag paneer or the paneer that is in the green veggie sauce that's more soft, but this was one was like a sweet n sour blend and had so much flavor and was very good to eat with the rest of the foods. The noodles omg. The size of the actual noodles was really good, thin and spaghetti like but still packed with so much flavor and spice. The chicken was so tender I almost didn't believe it was chicken haha but it was really good and would definitely get this again. Steamed Momo was also one of my favorites as the other Momo options were more saucy or contained other things. I like mine plain and simple. Comes with peanut sauce and spicy sauce. Both great options but fav Momo would have to be steamed :) Special shoutout to the people working at Himalayas Momo. They brought out a table for us and served us like we were at a restaurant. Genuinely some of the best food I've eaten. First, there are two men running the truck and the one who helped us was extremely nice. He came out of the truck and explained the menu to us as well as suggesting which items are their most popular. He offered to bring us the food to our car when it was done so we wouldn't have to wait in the cold. We got an order of the veggie chilly momos. They are made them fresh to order. They're filled with a mix of veggies and paneer and served with a chutney and a generous portion of peppers and onions. The filling is rich and the acidity and coolness of the chutney balances it very nicely. I eat out a lot and across many cultures and have genuinely never had something like this. Bomb! It's New Year's Eve and this place is open. The chicken chilly is more like a sweet savory grilled chicken which has good char on the chicken. The veggies are still fresh and crunchy. The fried chicken momo is not oily, the wrapping is thicker than a dumpling and it's got great flavor. I'm not personally a fan of loaded fries but these are good. Certainly good portions and great flavor. This is a healthy yet filling meal, for myself this is going to be at least three servings. Thankful they're open late night and on holidays. These Momos are absolutely delicious. We came and ordered the steam momo, the johl momo, C momo, pani puri, and chicken chow mein. Man oh man does this take me straight back to Kathmandu. My Nepalese wife agreed. The ethnicity is there. The masala combinations are delicious. The tomato based jhol broth was fantastic and flavorful. The C momo had a great sauce. The steam momo was nice and juicy and flavorful, paired with there achairs it was great. The pani puri was standard! Nothing special but good old pani puri. The chicken chow mein was also very nice. The service was great. This place is ran but a Nepalese father and son and another employee. Nichal was very kind and was happy for us to try the food. The other employee I did not get his name but he was very nice and smiled at the whole time. They are out of a food truck and have a couple chairs to sit at while you wait so definitely don't be expecting to eat there unless you want to stand or sit on the chairs.
