I came here with my sisters and we thought this place was selling crepe but the food was so yummy! Very very flakey too. But I loved this treat and I will definitely be heading back there again

5 star service! I approached the little truck and a very nice man helped us out. You don't run into the type of service he gave us at all anymore. Very humbled , very positive about all the little things in life! He also gave us samples of their coffee !The food was amazing! My favorite : the guava one very delicious and full of flavor! I will be coming back

Jalapeño and cheese empanada with salsa on the side

Got to try them at the 909 Night Market and I'm so happy I did cos they were the BEST empanadas I've ever had ! I got the jalapeños and cheese one, but I regret not getting more !

    Strawberry/Banana With Nutella

First time here and the taste is indescribable, you gotta try it! They have different flavors and i cant wait to try them all. She gave us complimentary coffee which taste like "Cafe de olla" and we had to buy some, because its so delicious. We had a strawberry/banana flavor, but will be back for the mole verde.

It's been around for over 20 years and is currently in a newer space than it was before; featuring more parking and a larger space. Ambiance: The interior has a relaxed feel with beachy surfer themed decor. It has a clean modern feel with a bunch of tables featuring accent colored chairs. There is music in the background and a TV on the wall featuring surfing videos. Service: You order at the counter, they ring you up and you get the food brought out. You can see the kitchen as it's open. It was my first time and it was a simple and easy experience. Everything came out in a timely fashion. Food: Some of their specialities include the 20+variations of fried empanadas (meats, chicken, pork, veggie, dessert) that come in both savory and sweet types, as well as their speciality plates such as their Korean-style flat iron steak skewers and chicken satay. The sauces they serve with their empanadas are incredible and some of the best I've ever had such as their chimmi-churri, basil-aioli and sweet & sour Thai. I recently did the lunch combo featuring a choice of a 1/2 salad or 1/2 fries, choice of any two empanadas and a canned drink. I chose beef and Kailua pig empanadas; both were great, empanadas didn't break apart and were crispy, everything was seasoned well; the filling of the beef was a bit more than the Kailua pig however. Drinks: They have various drinks such as lemonade, juices, sodas/soft drinks, and some beers on tap. Parking: The lot is large and has ample parking depending on the day and time. Prices: Prices are to the times that we're in...so not too great. Ala carte empanadas are $5+ but as you order more (4, 12) the prices come down a slight bit.

BOOM!!!! A must stop…read morefor Columbian! Know that this is a very busy place to though. This was a truly amazing experience into the flavors of a Colombian meal. I decided to go with here to taste a different part of the world. The dish I selected, is the Banda Paisano Trifeca which is a macro and micronutrient bomb of delicious vegetables, starches, and protein. Apparently many with very hard physically demanding jobs need a "strong meal," and within Columbian Culture this dish was formed. Beautiful story, AND it has blood sausage!!! The place was slammed but got me the first available seat in 10 mins or so, and though we both couldn't communicate beyond the common cordial words and menu semantics, her demeanor and body language was very inviting and courteous. This place was a class act. Get you some!!!

Flavor was spot on as usual. Things I did not enjoy this time: 1. I was charged for 2 chorizos when I had only ordered 1. (Always ask for printed invoice and check before leaving). 2. I was charged $6 for a chorizo that was as long as my thumb. In the past their chorizos were much bigger and cheaper. (Do not order chorizos a la carte). 3. The meat in my "bandeja paisa" was ver fatty. Maybe my negative experience had to do with the fact that the restaurant was about to close.

On a busy Saturday night, my party was never short of refills & staff continuously checked in on us throughout our visit. I was celebrating my daughter's high school graduation and having a great time. The food was amazing. I ordered a beer and was never asked for my ID. Later, after I ordered a second beer, another waiter came over and asked to see my ID. Keep in mind, I was already eating and enjoying my meal. The waiter told me that the manager was the one who asked that I be carded. If that is the case, I believe the situation could have been handled much better. I understand the policy, but it was very inconvenient to be asked for my ID after I had already started eating. I had my napkin on and was in the middle of my meal. I had to stop, clean myself up, and dig through my purse to find my ID. Please be more professional and check IDs when the first drink is ordered, before customers are settled in and eating. It disrupted what was otherwise a wonderful dining experience while celebrating my daughter's graduation. The food was excellent, but this situation was frustrating and could have been handled much better. I wasn't upset about being asked for identification--I understand that it's required. I was frustrated by the timing, especially since it happened after I had already begun eating my meal.
