First time I tried Chiloso was during an YEE event, you can see my other reviews there. Loved it and had to come back. Decided to bring the Family this time. This is a small Family owned business in the corner of the complex off Louise and Roscoe. I really like the way this spot is decorated, cool spray painted mural on the wall, black and red sleek colors. The service both times I have been here has been excellent. The first time it was the owner, this time and employee, both equally nice and helpful. Very welcoming and very much like a Family spot. I got my Sandia drink once again, Chiloso style with candy and fruit on top, 32 ounce, love it soo much. The candy with the chamoy on it, fruit and the fresh watermelon juice is so good and a great combo. We also got a couple on their Mangonada's, they use fresh Mango in these, not ice cream so it is very fresh and tasty. We also had to get some candy to take home, we got some watermelon sandia slices, strawberry gusher vines and the sour manguitos, so addicting, love the sweet and spice of these candies. I recommend them highly, but be warned, once you try it, you will be coming back all the time. My favorite for sure is the 32 ounce Sandia, Chiloso style, can't be beat. Enjoy! read more

Amazing customer service. She was attentive, and sincere. After trying the Agua Fresca Pepino Lemon, I will be coming back. It also comes with fresh watermelon, gummy candies, and choice of getting chamoy tajin, or both. I opted in for everything. The ambiance here is laid back. It gave me a feeling of when visiting Mexico. A drink that you would get while walking around. Parking is a bit tight because multiple businesses and some of the businesses have their names on the parking spaces. Some street parking available. Hmm i was expecting a little bit more. don't get me wrong its good just not GOOD you know. Business decor is great and thematic. I'm not so sure about the spot in which its in seemed somewhat tucked and hidden. upon our arrival the business owner was in the back working on making more treats. i got to sample their watermelon chiloso and it was good. my cousin tried their gusher. shortly after that we placed an order. i had their mangoneada with chili and my cousin had their esquite. beautifully presented. business owner mentioned they also cater for special events. once i got home i was able to dive deep into my mangoneada. it was okay. i guess the mangoneada needed more mango essence so in all fairness it lacked a bit. nonetheless, my cousins esquite was EVERYTHING! that was pretty darn good. plenty parking though it can get busy. but street parking will be okay. read more

First time at ChilOSO Gummy Bear thanks to Eric P for highly recommending. Plenty of parking spots and 2 sets of tables for outside seating and 2 sets of tables for indoor seating. ChilOSO Gummy Bear spot is so artistically designed. Once you come in the set up is so cool and yummy. As soon as you open the door, the sweet aroma of fruits and candy welcomes you. Brenda greeted us as soon as we came in and she was awesome. Thank you Brenda! They have mangonada, agua frescas and other yummy treats to name a few. What we really enjoyed and will frequent are the ChilOSO gummies, pina agua fresca and sandia agua fresca. The ChilOSO gummies are made fresh by the owner, we were told by Brenda. Will definitely come back to try other items on their menu. The ChilOSO gummies were delicious. They were not too sweet and you can tell they were freshly made. The pina and sandia agua frescas were so refreshing. You can taste the fresh fruits and they were not sugared down. We like finding new spots in the San Fernando Valley to frequent and share with our family and friends. ChilOSO Gummy Bear will be one of our new spots to visit. I Live down the street from here and finally had an opportunity to come. The lady behind the counter was so nice and helpful especially being here for the first time my daughter got the pineapple plate with the Chamoy and stuff first bite, and she had a smile from ear to ear. I got the tostilocos and everything was fresh and delicious. My wife got the strawberry churro sundae. it was so good. I had to take some of it too. I was able to try Chiloso Gummy Bear since they were set up at the Northridge Famers Market tonight. I heard about them before on Yelp and Instagram so it was one of the place I wanted to try with my wife. So I was surprise when I saw their stand at the Farmer Market and knew I had to get something. The lady working the stand was very nice and explain the different options you have. I asked if there was any option with no chili added and she said just the kids option. So I went with the watermelon that has chili, she also told me that it's one of their top seller. The watermelon is good and the first gummy bear will likely hit you because when I tried it, it hit me. I can't wait to go to their store in the future since it's near my friends house. read more

Chiloso, you are my new fix! Tucked away in a hidden little corner, this spot is the bomb dot com. Melanie (the owner) was the absolute sweetest. It honestly felt like I was catching up with an old friend. She took the time to walk me through the menu, asked about my preferences, and made sure everything was just right. I ordered the pineapple Agua Fresca Chiloso style, the watermelon Agua Fresca Chiloso style, and a hot Cheeto esquite. The aguas were perfectly sweet and topped with their super yummy candy. The fruit garnishes were so fresh and crispy. The esquite was buttery and loaded with crushed Cheetos and lots of cotija cheese. Oh my gosh, I went and dropped off donations for their donation collection for those displaced by the fires. While I was there I had a sample of the gushers and it tasted so good. Look, I normally don't like gushers, I even told the person working the front "Nah I don't like gushers it's probably too sweet" and then I was offered the sample so I tried it and boom bought the Chiloso Gushers. I placed an online order for shipping, which was very easy to do via the website. My order arrived two days after I received the shipping notification and tracking number which felt very quick to me! I did reach out to the business prior to my order being shipped as I had an inquiry regarding my order and Melanie, the owner, provided a prompt response and solution. The candy itself is so so yummy! I ordered all of mine spicy and they have the right amount of spice that doesn't overpower the flavor of the candy itself so you can eat as much as you want, because "you can't have just one!". To say I am pleased with the customer service and the items I received is a complete understatement. Let me start out by saying I don't consider myself a Chamoy / Tajin connoisseur or anything, but I've had some pretty nasty gummies in the past. As a long time customer I have been thoroughly disappointed with the level of service at this establishment recently. It seems as if almost any time I try to purchase from this establishment there is no one there. I understand people need to go on their lunch breaks but it would make sense to communicate store closure times during normal business hours. There have been several times where I've waited for someone to come unlock the door and they take more time than posted on the door. There have been many times where I've tried to brush this off. Additionally they are always out of stock of their most popular item. The owner suggested I do an online order to make things easier. Surprise, website is not updated with current stock (I had a feeling it would happen) so now I am out of $10 for candy that they don't even have in stock. Although it's being refunded, it's still an inconvenience. I will no longer be purchasing from this establishment. Such a shame that such a good product has been overridden by mediocre service. read more

The fruit pieces were pretty large, the topping weren't there overall not a good experience. My son purchases a mangonada slushy I think it was called, super sweet, all artificial flavors.
