Food was great until I found a long hair in my rice. Id blame it on me but i shaved my head a couple of weeks ago so... Just wear a hairnet please. It was in the serve safe course you guys claim to have certificates for.

Mmmmm, what a great little Cuban spot that I can run to for a decent lunch deal and a full belly. Very happy that my friend suggested this place. We ordered the Lengua de Salsa and the Bandeja Paisa to share. There was more than enough and one of us went home with a full plate for dinner. The meats were seasoned well and while my belly couldn't eat anymore, my mouth wanted to keep chomping away. We added a guanabana drink made with milk and another pink one that I can't remember the name of, made with water. Unless you're lactose intolerant, I definitely think the drinks made with milk are the way to go. The service is great, they are very friendly and helpful. It would easier and probably even better if you speak Spanish. There's parking on the street and a small lot on the east side of the building.

I'm really disappointed. This picada was expensive just to get a lot of yuca, potato and overcooked ribs and chicharrón . We only got 3 pieces of chorizo and we didn't get carne asada . I ordered it for pick up so I didn't notice it at the restaurant.

Tye location is kind of small but the food is tasty and delicious. The service is great. All the waiters and waitresses are very polite and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place.

Finally my husband and I went to try the Colombian food. We liked a lot. We will eat very well when we will go there. The arepas are delicious, the meal with fish was really tasty. The pandebono was good, sorry, I still prefer my cheese bite from Brazil. The service is great, very friendly. And the ambiance is nice! You can see Colombian channel and listen the music. The price is really good! Two appetizers, juice, soda and one meal- $31 dollars. You should try it!

Sazón Colombia is my go-to when I need to satisfy my Colombian cravings, specially for breakfast. But this time It was for dinner time. You can never go wrong with a Bandeja Paisa. The only down side is to not be hungry enough to finish one for myself but it is definitely shareable for two people. Service is great for the most part.

It's been around for over 20 years and is currently in a newer space than it was before; featuring more parking and a larger space. Ambiance: The interior has a relaxed feel with beachy surfer themed decor. It has a clean modern feel with a bunch of tables featuring accent colored chairs. There is music in the background and a TV on the wall featuring surfing videos. Service: You order at the counter, they ring you up and you get the food brought out. You can see the kitchen as it's open. It was my first time and it was a simple and easy experience. Everything came out in a timely fashion. Food: Some of their specialities include the 20+variations of fried empanadas (meats, chicken, pork, veggie, dessert) that come in both savory and sweet types, as well as their speciality plates such as their Korean-style flat iron steak skewers and chicken satay. The sauces they serve with their empanadas are incredible and some of the best I've ever had such as their chimmi-churri, basil-aioli and sweet & sour Thai. I recently did the lunch combo featuring a choice of a 1/2 salad or 1/2 fries, choice of any two empanadas and a canned drink. I chose beef and Kailua pig empanadas; both were great, empanadas didn't break apart and were crispy, everything was seasoned well; the filling of the beef was a bit more than the Kailua pig however. Drinks: They have various drinks such as lemonade, juices, sodas/soft drinks, and some beers on tap. Parking: The lot is large and has ample parking depending on the day and time. Prices: Prices are to the times that we're in...so not too great. Ala carte empanadas are $5+ but as you order more (4, 12) the prices come down a slight bit.

I would love to try all their cakes, they look so good and fresh. The breads are definitely awesome and fresh too, it was coming out from the back when we were there, and you can see some condensation on the display letting you know they are hot and fresh. It took a few minutes of scanning the menu, and looking at the desserts, before we were ready and chose to order. We ended up getting a steak sandwich and the two empanada plate. For the empanadas, we tried the beef and the chicken. The empanadas are not that great. The beef one was ok, but the chicken was not worth trying again. The star of the plate was the french fries. Those were awesome and cooked very well. The steak sandwich was very good. It was loaded with steak. The steak pieces were tender. Everything about the sandwich was good. The bread was the same one they sold in the display. The lettuce and tomatoes, fresh. The avocado that costed $3 extra, loads, probably a whole small avocado. This sandwich is definitely worth coming back for. Overall, I say try it. Or at least, try the steak sandwich with some fries.

I've tried almost everything on their menu and was never able to find something i ordered enjoyable. It's just not for me. This visit I ordered their Lomo Salteado and the meat was extremely rubbery and unpleasant. My daughter ordered their chicken empanadas and it was a hard no for her too. When we were ready to close out, I asked the waiter as he was clearing some things on our table, if he could bring some to-go boxes when he had a moment for things we didn't finish so we could take them home. He had a butter knife in his hands and threw it onto the table. Rough day I guess. I personally would not come here myself, but continue to do so for my wife.
