Omg this place is amazing, from the food being delicious to the service being exceptional I really enjoyed the service. Thursday's they have a pupusa special for $1.50 for revuelta and you can't beat that price. The cebada was so refreshing and the quesadilla is amazing. Everything is freshly made to order so call in your order so you don't have to wait around. Can't wait to go back

Mushy corn Tamales - way undercooked.

I wanted to line this place because of its proximity to our house. Corn tamales were way undercooked (mushy and no edible). The Yuca and Chicharrón were way over cooked (hard). The pupusas are decent at best . I'm hoping this was an off day but not sure I'll be coming back for another try. 3 stars for the pupusas and order accuracy ( al thought they did forget to pack my cream for the corn tamales).

So this was my 3rd time there and I ordered pupusas and the first time they were filled nicely so this time they were not as stuffed and I called and complained well the owner was grateful I told him and asked me to come they would replace them so I came in and the wife was upset and told me she would talk to the cook from Saturday because she over stuffed them so basically she got I. Trouble for making them nice and stuffed. She had a bad attitude about the entire situation. I won't be buying them there anymore and if I decide to go back I'll buy just the pan con pollo.

The BEST Salvadoran Restaurant on every level in the San Fernando Valley- from someone who has ate food in El Salvador. I have tried almost every Salvadoran restaurant in the SFV since my family moved here years ago from Hollywood area. For 15 years, I could not find a decent Salvadoran restaurant in the SFV (no joke), so I kept having to drive to LA whenever I craved Salvadoran food. The search in the SFV is over, because this is an authentic Salvadoran restaurant outside of El Salvador. I recommend the traditional pupusas (they have a variety of fillings), the Salvadoran enchiladas and Salvi French toast (torrejas). AMAZING food!

Breakfast at Ebenezer new spot! Its ok!

Restaurant does have at least 1 reserved parking spot. Ordered 18 pupusas for a party, total with taxes was 88$ . So about 5$ per pupusa with tax on average. Taste was authentic, order was ready on time and service was excellent and personal! Restaurant is cozy but spacious, great decorations and setup. This gives the location a warm , welcoming and authentic ambiance. Overall I like this pupuseria as the transaction and pick up was seemless and efficient compared to other locations.

It's been around for over 20 years and is currently in a newer space than it was before; featuring more parking and a larger space. Ambiance: The interior has a relaxed feel with beachy surfer themed decor. It has a clean modern feel with a bunch of tables featuring accent colored chairs. There is music in the background and a TV on the wall featuring surfing videos. Service: You order at the counter, they ring you up and you get the food brought out. You can see the kitchen as it's open. It was my first time and it was a simple and easy experience. Everything came out in a timely fashion. Food: Some of their specialities include the 20+variations of fried empanadas (meats, chicken, pork, veggie, dessert) that come in both savory and sweet types, as well as their speciality plates such as their Korean-style flat iron steak skewers and chicken satay. The sauces they serve with their empanadas are incredible and some of the best I've ever had such as their chimmi-churri, basil-aioli and sweet & sour Thai. I recently did the lunch combo featuring a choice of a 1/2 salad or 1/2 fries, choice of any two empanadas and a canned drink. I chose beef and Kailua pig empanadas; both were great, empanadas didn't break apart and were crispy, everything was seasoned well; the filling of the beef was a bit more than the Kailua pig however. Drinks: They have various drinks such as lemonade, juices, sodas/soft drinks, and some beers on tap. Parking: The lot is large and has ample parking depending on the day and time. Prices: Prices are to the times that we're in...so not too great. Ala carte empanadas are $5+ but as you order more (4, 12) the prices come down a slight bit.

I decided to go with here to taste a different part of the world. The dish I selected, is the Banda Paisano Trifeca which is a macro and micronutrient bomb of delicious vegetables, starches, and protein. Apparently many with very hard physically demanding jobs need a "strong meal," and within Columbian Culture this dish was formed. Beautiful story, AND it has blood sausage!!! Flavor was spot on as usual. Things I did not enjoy this time: 1. I was charged for 2 chorizos when I had only ordered 1. (Always ask for printed invoice and check before leaving). 2. I was charged $6 for a chorizo that was as long as my thumb. In the past their chorizos were much bigger and cheaper. (Do not order chorizos a la carte). 3. The meat in my "bandeja paisa" was ver fatty. Maybe my negative experience had to do with the fact that the restaurant was about to close.

Traditional Salvadorean Cuisine in the SFV!…read more Our first time trying Salvadorean food at this family owned restaurant in Reseda. Carlos gave us some great recommendations so we ended up trying pupusas for the first time. It's made with a homemade corn dough. It's thicker than a regular corn tortilla and stuffed with ground pork and cheese. They have a variety of fillings. You can add salsa roja, a flavorful tomato-based sauce or habanero sauce. Served with Curtido, a tangy, fermented cabbage slaw. So crispy, cheesy and filling. It came burning hot - I could barely hold it. But, I would definitely order this again!
