I have only been here a couple times to get pupusas and I tried their breakfast food. I couldn't tell you the name but they have their food set up so you can pick several things or they will recommend what they have available. They make the pupusas throughout the day so they are fresh. They also have bread and pastries which I've not tried but they look good. The place is small so not many tables. My only issue is the parking, it's a small shopping center and parking is terrible which is one reason I don't go there more often. A really cool place to get pupusas for a reasonable price. They also serve fresh baked pan dulce, agua fresa, food, and custom cakes. Every time I come here it is easy to see the food is made with love. The food is newly cooked and it is legitimate El Salvadorian food. I love getting pan dulce here, again, because it is so fresh. I'm picking up a slice of cake like no joke Everyone, there's really nice and the prices are quite fair. Comparatively I will say parking is definitely rough in the area. The food is delicious and the price is ok. The service has gotten better over years but still room for improvement. The staff simply doesn't go that extra mile to be friendly. It's cold service. No greeting, no "thank you come back soon" but like I said it's been worse. The place got a makeover most recently too. The layout remained the same sweet bread on both ends of the place and hot food in the middle. Gets a little disorganized when people go from side to side trying to choose what they want for sweet bread. It would be nice if all the bread was on one side and the hot food on the other side keep flow of traffic separate. Especially for those only here for hot food. The food speaks for itself. Word of advise if you want plain cheese pupusas call in advance. That might not always work because their phone isn't always on the hook. Lol yes that happens in 2018. The Mexican sweet bread is not their specialty, but can't speak on the traditional Salvadorian bread. The ensalada de fruta drink is delicious. Ok so the pupusa are good. The problem is they never have half the menu in stock. No lorroco or calabasa, ever. Why have them on the menu if you don't have them? The tamales are trash. I know Salvadoran tamales are wet but this was soup, under cooked and nasty. And finally the workers. They are always in a rush, even when not busy, and seem annoyed. You never know what is in each box so you have to cut open each one to figure it out. With so many other places with good reviews, I think this is the last time we come here.
