Overpriced and pupusas were not good at all. Terrible service, the staff were not helpful. The pupusas were dry, the red sauce was extra salty, I ate the pupusa as they served them, not cheesy at all. Even though they are under a warmer they weren't fresh they were super dry. Over priced. This was my sign to never come back. They were good many years ago, not anymore. Paying $4.50 and $5.00 for a small horchata that doesn't taste good. It also smells like a cleaning supply as I walked in. read more

Best breakfast cinnamon roll ever. It's like cinnamon raisin bread rolled up with a spot of cinnamon butter in the middle. It's delicious and not too sweet. I warmed it up for 20 seconds in the microwave and had it with my tea. The Tres leche cake was really good too. I love all the different flavors of tres leche to choose from. I'll definitely be back to try more breads. read more

I have only been here a couple times to get pupusas and I tried their breakfast food. I couldn't tell you the name but they have their food set up so you can pick several things or they will recommend what they have available. They make the pupusas throughout the day so they are fresh. They also have bread and pastries which I've not tried but they look good. The place is small so not many tables. My only issue is the parking, it's a small shopping center and parking is terrible which is one reason I don't go there more often. The food is good and the ladies that work there are really pleasant. It's good for pick up but take someone who can get the food while you wait in the car!! Trust me read more

Some of the best pupusas I've had. Staff is always friendly, and there's usually a line, but it's worth the wait! This location is a lot smaller than the one in Van Nuys but it's clean and nice inside. I will say parking is limited, especially during the busier hours. Street parking is scarce. read more

This stuff is always friendly. I always order ahead of time on the phone and my order is always ready by the time.Did I get there. I really appreciate the fact that they take call in orders. Pupusas are amazing! The ladies at the place are nice and willing to explain exactly what they are selling.

SUCH GOOD FOOD!! the food, the drinks, the pastries, the pan dulce, everything here is so amazing! The customer service usually goes by really fast, depending on how long the line is. I also got one of their horchata's and it tasted amazing & was really refreshing. Been here a couple times already and the food is always being freshly made and it tastes amazing. This is definitely a place I keep coming back to! They have a small seating section, but I definitely recommend eating here! read more

El Carrusel Bakery - Chile Relleno plate & Traditional Desayuno plate (both come with tortillas/or a bread) - Bakeries Near Me - Reseda, California

The lovely ladies of El Carrusel were super attentive and welcoming. Definitely will be coming back this place is a little hole in the wall but the food is always the best at these type of places. Great portions and food tastes like you're eating a home cooked meal. The pupusas are delicious too I didn't take a photo of it cause it was already gone by then haha read more

Terrible customer service the lady's at this restaurant are super rude Avery time I go there the are sitting doing nothing gossiping and when they get up they take forever to get my food ready and they have a bad attitude all time honestly I'm never going back read more

I absolutely loved the tamales and so flavorful and fresh. The customer service was warm and friendly. Plus is close. Highly recommended!

The pupusas are very delicious, and the people there are so kind and welcoming.. I'll definitely be back!

The pupusas are good they just need to work on their customer service. Idk who I was talking to on the phone but the lady I placed a call in with was really rude. read more

I was really excited to try this place after hearing great things about this Salvadoran food spot, but unfortunately, the experience was a huge letdown. From the moment we walked in, the staff seemed annoyed we were there. No greeting, no smile just a group of women huddled in the kitchen. The food itself was actually decent but the wait was too long and it's hard to enjoy a meal when the service makes you feel completely unwelcome. read more

When coming here, you gotta get the pan con pavo. Extremely authentic and delicious. Pair it with an ensalada to drink and you're good. Their pastries are also very tasty. read more

Customer service of the lady who helped us was horrible. I wish the other young lady would have helped us. I have been following this place in IG and drove from LAX to give it a try. I was so disappointed with the service she gave us. Even after I told her it was our 1st time visiting. She seemed so annoyed & bothered by us. My husband said I should have just walked out & not bought anything. Didn't try the food. Champurrado was super hot, but okay, nothing special. Bread was good. But for the drive, price & and customer service, I'll take hard earned money to my local bakeries. I was considering returning to give the food a try. But no thanks. Unfollow for us. read more

No regreso MAs. read more

I always order from this place since the pupusa's are pretty good. Last night I ordered two panes con pollo. They filled up the pan, I am guessing with all the chicken that was left over. And we were not pleased. The chicken tasted bad and rancid. We had to throw them away. Also some of my pupusas didn't have cheese!!?! The aguas de horchata were super water downed. Very upset with my whole order. read more

A really cool place to get pupusas for a reasonable price. They also serve fresh baked pan dulce, agua fresa, food, and custom cakes. Every time I come here it is easy to see the food is made with love. The food is newly cooked and it is legitimate El Salvadorian food. I love getting pan dulce here, again, because it is so fresh. They accept all major credit cards here so a big plus. Parking can suck, but just be patient. read more

I would definitely say Even though they are listed as a bakery, they have really good food here like the pupusas absolutely chef's kiss. I would definitely say if you're anywhere near the area and want some really good pupusas I would check them out. As well as the cakes. There are so dang delicious! Anytime I'm there for a pupusa. I'm picking up a slice of cake like no joke Everyone, there's really nice and the prices are quite fair. Comparatively I will say parking is definitely rough in the area. You may need to park next door or something and sometimes there can be a little bit of a line so don't expect to be in and out but the way it is not too crazy. I haven't sat down there yet but I usually grab my food and take it to go. But once again definitely a spot I would check out read more

The food is delicious and the price is ok. The service has gotten better over years but still room for improvement. The staff simply doesn't go that extra mile to be friendly. It's cold service. No greeting, no "thank you come back soon" but like I said it's been worse. The place got a makeover most recently too. The layout remained the same sweet bread on both ends of the place and hot food in the middle. Gets a little disorganized when people go from side to side trying to choose what they want for sweet bread. It would be nice if all the bread was on one side and the hot food on the other side keep flow of traffic separate. Especially for those only here for hot food. The food speaks for itself. Word of advise if you want plain cheese pupusas call in advance. That might not always work because their phone isn't always on the hook. Lol yes that happens in 2018. The Mexican sweet bread is not their specialty, but can't speak on the traditional Salvadorian bread. The ensalada de fruta drink is delicious. It helps to know Spanish as not all the employees speak English. read more

Ok so the pupusa are good. The problem is they never have half the menu in stock. No lorroco or calabasa, ever. Why have them on the menu if you don't have them? The tamales are trash. I know Salvadoran tamales are wet but this was soup, under cooked and nasty. And finally the workers. They are always in a rush, even when not busy, and seem annoyed. You never know what is in each box so you have to cut open each one to figure it out. With so many other places with good reviews, I think this is the last time we come here. Not worth the headache. read more
